i feel so miserable

#the emptiness after the break up is hitting me #why are all my friends in relationships now and im the only single one like literally #do i really dont have the energy for relationships now or am i just running away from it?#should i get that fucking app again? go on dates? i dont want that i wish i could meet someone naturally #does it have to do with relationships to begin with?? my emptiness. my sadness. or is it something else #god the older i get the more pathetic i feel #but isnt growing up lonely anyway? for many people its a lonely experience #maybe im not THAT out of place #even so. its fucking depressing #i cant wait to make more friends with rollerskating #maybe i'll join a derby team i think this could cheer me up #like. having a new group you know. hey these are the girls from my derby team. plus it seems fun #idk. i know im getting somewhere but time seems to have stopped for me lately. everything is too slow and i just #want things to change faster. for the better. for me

I did Not know how to draw this really.#I am very normal about riz (<- lying)#it's a brennan-dm d20 campaign the bad guy is always capitalism (I am saying this with clenched teeth)#riz out of all of them being aroace fucks with me SO bad. bc its also established that elmsville specifically and probably the #majority of solace is not. made for goblins. and that becomes sklonda being worked to the bone and pok dying on the job #and riz spending all his time trying to keep his friends together. maybe to the point of it being injurous #like. do u get what I mean. its an economy of time it takes your time it eats up your time #not just the gukgaks but everyone you have to spend time to get to live and you don't have a lot of time left in a day #and you have to spend it carefully. you have to prioritize #you're somewhere without an established community and companionship is bought with your time spent working #this place doesn't take care of you. at the end of the day who do you have who'd prioritize you. do you understand me #the evolved aroace loathing where if your friends and family are granted more time nobody would have to choose. we live in a society #holds ur hand we live in a society. idk if Im making any sense #anyway . uhhh riz is my favourite that's my statement thank you for listening. au revoir

one of my favorite things about zedaph is that on a server full of people that find strange and oft-overlooked minecraft mechanics or rare events and then see just how far they can push them in the name of spectacle or efficiency or world-breaking, zed is over here finding these mechanics in order to do the weirdest things he can think of in as entertaining a manner as possible

like i 100% have faith in zedaph's theoretical ability to be just as efficient or spectacular or world-breaking. if he wanted to do that stuff, i trust that he absolutely could. but thats so far from being his priority. instead, hes going to spend around a week of irl time focused entirely on eventually having the good luck to spawn in something insanely rare so that he can convert it into something even rarer, the result of which being something that 99% of the server reacts with complete and utter shock that it even exists in the first place, just because its zany and funny and he wanted to. and i love that

#im gonna do the interior tmrw but im pretty happy with how these turned out #i used the volvo laplander as reference for the front and the rest is based on a honda mini pickup truck #the bars around the chassis was an afterthought.. partly bc i thought it would look cool and partly because i thought #it would be good to add something to keep the trailer attachment in place.. i think theyre used more for offroad vehicles though idk #the folding screen is also partly to block out the view of sleights room and its painted with stars to act as a backdrop #idk if the stage is strong enough to support her weight with just thick wires keeping it suspended so.. maybe smth like #a table or chair gets wedged underneath to support it from the bottom too. i just couldnt fit it on there #myart #my art #my oc #oc #sleight #concept art #doodles #vehicles #sketches #wip #idk if im gonna color this i think ill just leave it like this

I find it so painfully heartbreaking that Solomon just...laughs off all the derision, the name-calling, and possibly even did "evil" things on purpose because it's expected of him at this point. (He had not always been like this as Thirteen pointed out before). There was a time when he was "innocent". When his soul sparkled. When it resembled the kind of soul everyone in these god forsaken (pun intended with spite) three realms seemed to associate with the ever loved MC. He's just...worryingly carefree. And because he's like that, he feels even more of a tragic character to me.

Sometimes it even seems that he himself would seemingly make up excuses on why he's hated. Oh, it's because I'm a sorcerer this. I might have won a war against Devildom single-handedly this. I have forgotten. But maybe, I did something bad, that. Hon, you were doing that to SURVIVE. You don't have to be a faultless person to deserve compassion. You don't have to be MC to deserve to be loved.

#rant #the more i play and read about nb solomon the more it feels like he's a worst case scenario foil to MC #and it's ridiculous maybe to feel this way but seeing how everyone dotes on mc and just panders to them without question no matter #especially with meaner dialogues #make me dislike the mc to some extent #what good will raising up one character do in exchange of dehumanising another?#i couldn't put a finger on this feeling before #but i think that's also why im so burnt out with this game #the more everyone loves me as the mc the more it becomes so apparent how unfairly solomon was treated #and how everyone ESPECIALLY HIM just rolls with it #sweetie please be angry. please complain. please hate me in some way #but no he just keeps loving and supporting the mc #in game in fandom this man can't catch a break #wanna gatekeep him fr /s #this has just been brewing in my mind for a while. i don't really wanna hear discourse or arguments that's why i put it in the tags #I just need a place to vent my frustrations with this game #obey me #obey me nightbringer #obey me solomon #spoiler mention #he's imperfect and flawed as all humans are and he deserves to be loved irregardless

i LOVEEEEE The qsmp but one thing i do hope returns after the break is over is the islanders actually finding and solving lore on their own rather than it always being scripted events and qsmp channel streams. i miss the whole maze thing i miss ordos theoritas i miss them gathering and just Talking about whatever the fuck they found doesnt matter if its actually relevant or not MAYBE IM CLOUDED BY NOSTALGIA I DONT KNOW and i dont mind scripted global lore at all!! But i do wish player participation when it comes to getting information amps up again

#sketch #comic #ocs #oc:romsir #oc:penny #oc:end #this was intially going to be a dtl comic would you believe that #anyways this is about the character development romsir goes through at the beginning of deep breath #they go from being listless and kinda unreliable to having something to live for and work towards #they and penny bond extremely closely after the collapse. each was under the impression that no other humans survived #they experience a similar bond w jia but thats more paternal/fraternal in nature #penny and romsir have something borderline unhealthy going on #but theyre deeply in love and by the end of the narrative theyre in much better places #also im so glad i could draw romsirs fucked up skeleton arm finally. they only have it for a little bit before it has to be amputated #but i think its so funny #BTW THEY ARE NOT JUMPING OFF A BUILDING. THATS NOT WHATS HAPPENING #the 4th panel out of those 6 is the collapse closing in on them and their hand being fucking vaporized #3 seconds later daemos pulls them out of the collapse but theyre like chewed tf up by then #and 5th panel is them ~8 days after dying catching their first shard of the end #this being a dtl comic would have been so funny actually maybe i should revisit it #ANYWAYS GOODNIGHT MWAH

god damn i do not post often but can i talk about intentionality for a second?? one second please

i'm gonna be talking about bg3 but this really applies to any fandom space. people will, surface-level, agree that a Black character is not getting enough content compared to their white counterparts because it's. obvious . take wyll, who is several hours behind on voiced lines compared to other origins despite being one of the original five (before they added karlach and whiteified her too but that's another post). it's hard to deny cold hard facts

but then instead of engaging in content that uplifts Black characters and creators, they'll go right back to pumping out more and more content of just their white faves. on its own, it's not actively harmful, but here's what the implication is, whether they acknowledge it or not: yes wyll has less in-game content, yes his writing didn't get the attention it deserved, therefore i don't like him as much. it only perpetuates wyll's lack of content by contributing to his sidelining in fandom spaces

what i would love for fans who claim to be allies to do is to step out of the comfort zone of their initial favorites (which can, in fact, be biased!) and start pursuing content centering Black characters with intentionality. like all things, anti-racism (actively pushing back against racism rather than simply "Not Being Racist") takes practice and effort. you can't really agree with us that wyll needs more content, then in the same breath say that it's because of that that he's not interesting to you . the point was right in front of you doing a jig and you still missed it
