“...Something Right.”

Requested by @melaningodesss.

Sickness was going around. You tried your hardest not to catch it. But somehow it got to you. Maybe because a close friend of yours was sick and got you sick. You hated being sick. You couldn’t work, which meant you couldn’t make money. Owen hated to see you sick as well but he loved to use it as an excuse to take care of you.

You were the newest addition to the MKIT Rain crew. You stood out for many reasons. But the main reason you stood up was because you were the only female in the crew. Many people asked you if it was awkward to be the only female in the crew, but you just answered no.

They were all like brothers to you, except for Owen. You had a little crush on him. The only person who knew about it was Bloo. Bloo was your best friend. He was the only person you told all your secrets to. Even the secret about your little crush on Owen.

He would even tease you about it in front of Owen. But Owen was so blind he couldn’t even tell. You were in too deep and there was no way out. The guys took a day off and went to the pool. You of course wanted to go. When you got there, they greeted you with wide smile.

You went to change into a simple and traditional black bikini. You made your way out to the pool with a towel. All of eyes were on you. Even just the random people guys at the pool where making eyes at you.

“Woah.” Bloo said, trying to make Owen look behind him. He turned around and saw you. He gulped, he almost choked at the sight of you. “Hot, huh?” Bloo asked him. He didn’t answer. He lifted himself from the water and made his way over to you.

He grabbed your wrist, leading you to back into the lockers and changing rooms. “Owen! What is wrong with you?” You asked him. “Me? Why are wearing something so revealing to guys and those other people?”

“It’s my body, I can do whatever I want. And if I want to wear this I can. Why do you care anyways? It’s not like you’ve been getting the other hints.” You mumbled the last part.

“What was that last part?”

You folded your arms and turned from him. “I said, it’s not like you’ve been getting the other hints.”

“Hints? What hints?!”

“The hints, Owen! The hints that I like you! You truly are blind, aren’t ya’?”

There was nothing but silence. You sighed. “I’m gonna find Bloo.” You head for the door, but a hand pulls you back and spins you around. You were met by a pair of lips. You looked up to see that Owen’s lips were on yours. You gasped in the kiss and pulled away quickly. “What was that?!”

“I like you too.”

“Really?” You questioned with a smile. “Yeah, I just didn’t know how to tell you about it. You seemed really into Bloo, and I didn’t want to ruin it.”

You kissed his cheek. “I knew you were sweet.”

You had been dating Owen for about almost a year now. Bloo couldn’t even pick on you without Owen defending you. Bloo was annoyed at your relationship mostly, but that was because you and Owen weren’t scared of skinship. The two of you were always all over each other. To the guys it got disguisting after awhile.

But it was the worst time of the year, well one of the worst times of the years. Sickness was in the air, to be honest it was everywhere. You dodged sickness for weeks, but it caught up to you somehow. You beat yourself up for catching it. Bloo banned you from the studio until you were well enough to actually work and not get anyone else sick. You were stuck in your little apartment all by yourself, sick.

Owen felt bad. He had decided that he’d take care of you, no matter what happened. He stayed up until three in the morning, researching your symptoms to see exactly what sickness you had caught. When he finally found what seemed to be what you had. You had a fever.

He researched how to take of you and took notes. It wasn’t right to leave you by yourself with you at this state. Early the next morning, he went to the phramacy and asked the people there what he could do to help you, and all of them made it clear to him that having a little fever wasn’t bad.

They even tried to explain to him sometimes a fever is good because it can help fight infections in the human body. He didn’t care what it did, he just want to make sure his girl was okay.

He grabbed a couple of things on the way over. Luckily you trusted him enough because you made an third copy of your key and gave it to him. You already had to. One you cared on you. Another one you kept hidden that only you, Bloo, and Owen knew about. And the third, you had given to Owen.

He pulled out the key and unlocked your front door. “Baby!” He called out loudly. In response he got a loud groan coming from the bedroom. He slipped off his shoes and walked to your room.

He opened the door to see you turning and tossing in the bed. “Oh my baby. You must be burning up.” He rushed over and picked you up. He carried you into the living room. He set you down on the couch and wrapped you in a blanket. He reached into the bag he brought. He pulled out of a thermometer. “Say Ahh!"’

"Ahh.” You say softly, opening your mouth. He slipped the thereometer in your mouth. You closed your mouth and held it. He took it from your mouth and gasped. “Baby, you’re smoking. Your temperature is at 115 F. My poor baby.”

You only groaned at him. “Turn on the AC. It’s so hot in here!” You screamed at him. “Okay baby.” He rushed over to the AC and turned it on and turned to a low tempeature but not too low. She were still tossing and turning. You were so hot, you were sweating. You began to strip because you were so hot. You stripped down to your bra and panties. “It’s still so hot!”

He ran into the kitchen and fixed you some ice cold water. He rushed back over to you and handed you the water. You grabbed it and took a huge gulp. It helped just a little bit. “Thanks baby.” You thanked him.

“How about a cold bath to help reduce that fever?”

You nodded and took another gulp of water. He walked into your bathroom and turned the cold water fully on. As the tub filled, he added in some ice to make it even colder. He read something on in the internet saying it could help reduce a fever.

“Y/N! Your bath is ready!” You sluggishly walked to the bathroom. You walked over to the tub and looked over the edge. “What’s wrong?” He asked you.

“It looks cold.” You answered.

“Babe, that’s the point. If it’s too cold for you, I won’t make you get in it. You want to get in a swimsuit or are you fine like that?”

“I’m fine, like this.”

You took a step in and shivered. Finally you sank in the cold water. I could barely stop shivering. “How long do I have to be in this freezing water?” You asked.

“Until you feel a bit better. If it makes it better, I’ll be here by your side the whole time. After about ten minutes you were starting to feel a bit better. "How ya’ feeling?”

“Better. Can I get out now?”

He nodded and grabbed a towel. You stood up slowly and put your arms out. He dried your body. He picked you up bridal style and carried you to the living room. You held him tightly. Finally he put you down and walked into the kitchen. He made you another glass of water. He gave you the glass. “Drink up. After you’re finished I’ll check your temperature then I’ll carry you back to your bed.”

“And you’ll cuddle with me?” You asked. He nodded. You cheered quietly. When you finished, he grabbed the thermometer and stuck it in your mouth. After a couple of seconds he grabbed it and looked at your temperature.

“100 F, wow! You’re getting better. You still have a fever but it’s almost gone. That means I’m doing something right.” He admitted.

“You took care of me today. Thank you. I felt terrible this morning, now I feel a bit better.”

“Don’t thank me, it’s part of my job as your boyfriend to take care of you. And I have to, Bloo would kill me if I left you to suffer without me suffering with you.” He joked.

You managed a light chuckle before yawning. He tilted his head to the side. “You’re tired?”

“Maybe a little bit. Being in the bed sounds good right about now.”

“Your request is my command, fair maiden.”

He picked you up bridal style again and headed for your bedroom. He reached your bedroom and softly laid you in the bed. He climbed in after you and held you tightly. You were in his chest.

You slowly drifted to sleep and snuggled you head more in his chest. He kissed your head. “Rest well, babe. I love you.”

"🔊I took the top off, drippin like hot sauce, I can do this without y'all🔊 Get it, get it?! Because of her hair style. No, aite, aite. 🚶‍♂️🚶‍♂️🚶‍♂️🚶‍♂️" On a more serious note though. I haven't done portfolio stuff in a cool min. I haven't shot stuff strictly because it's what lights a fire in me. What I've been doing is weddings, birthday parties etc. That said, doing this shoot, in retrospect I realised a few things. So as I typically do, I sent this image to a fellow photographer to to get feedback on if he saw any flaws I missed and this particular photographer's response was. It's a solid image but try some different poses. And with that I realized; 1. I gravitate towards my three "go to" poses. Thing is though. Those three "go to" poses should be the foundation and I build out from there or modify and move toward from those poses. So I need to work on my posing of models. 2. I gravitate towards headshots. For example I shot some upper body and full body shots in this shoot. But throughout the shoot I kept finding myself wanting to punch in/zoom in and get a close up on the models face. So I probably need to try more framing options. Btw if you read this far in the caption to hear my story about the shot, drop an R in the comments, cause you a real one. Anyway.
