Doodles of my MTL ocs! They're part of a band called Istria (band shared with @sneakydevilship !), and are the second most popular metal band in the world. Dethklok's popularity far exceeds them, though.

Puppy is the bassist. She hails from Peru, but grew up in Mexico with her adoptive, older sister Gael. She is more withdrawn than her bandmates, but has a remarkable presence in the dynamics of the band.

Gael Oyente is the drummer. She's deaf, but rhythm and music is everything to her. Cool and collected, Gael is often given task to keep an eye on her bandmates. Alongside her sister, Puppy, she keeps the band grounded.

Cathal Issaseel is the rhythm guitarist. From the highlands of Scotland, he is one of the "founding members" of Istria. He is charismatic and lively, and with the wits to match!

Istria's vocalist and lead guitarist are my friend's, and I hadn't drawn them here.

Some initial concepts from when I was first making them last year under the cut.. very old. & additional notes!

Puppy has tattoos on both her arms. They are pre-columbian based tattoos, relating to her ancestry. She has two piercing on her bottom lip and several on both her ears.

Gael has angel wing back tattoos. She has a piecing on her bottom lip and several on her ears.

Cathal has a tongue piercing, eyebrow piercing and several on both ears.

Metalocalypse OCS!!

So, Allen Axel (blonde hair) and Soan Vautor (black hair) knew each other since High-school. They both had an interest in music, but Soan was regarded as a loner and a bit of a weird kid, let alone the fact he transferred from good ol France. Allen being a friendly and extroverted kid made it his mission to befriend him, and they ended up forming the punk rock duo LOVE JAIL soon after they graduated.

As Love Jail grew in popularity due to the boys out there looks and general good quality music, they started getting the attention of other bands. The one they would end up being "rivals" with was Snakes n Barrels. The two bands hatred towards each other was very publicised, Soan's hatred much more shown then Allen's.

However the band would come crashing down one night when the two went out to the bar. See, previously Allen had promised Soan that they'd be a punk rock band that would never get into any controversy, that they would actually deserve the love that they got by being just genuinely good people. He promised to never let them fall from grace, but alas. On this night, Soan had a few drinks, but in no way was he properly drunk. He left to go "do something", and Allen grew worried once it had been an hour and he wasn't back yet.

He went outside to look for him, and find him he did. He found him in an alleyway, literally caught red handed with a bloodied knife in his hand and the body of a man under him. Allen called the police, of course he did, he witnessed a murder! But Soan saw this as him breaking his promise. He believed Allen would stick by his side and go through this with him, would help him out of this situation. But he didn't.

On that night he swore to Allen he'd kill him for his betrayal as he was arrested.

Soan was charged with manslaughter, despite it being just full on murder. The duo broke up, leaving the legacy of Love Jail behind them. Over the years Allen was less of a punk and more of.. Just a guy. He hid what he could of his tattoos and went on to work with other artists as a song writer! A successful one at that. But, one day, at an unusually empty bar, he felt a gun at the back of his head and a familiar French accent grimacing out: "Found you, Cupid." They do also have a rather small section in the prophecy. Soan is titled "The Rival" and Allen "The Lover" (yes sorry for oc x canon Allen x Pickles I'm not normal /j)

All it says on them is that one of them will die by the others hands.

Basically, either Allen or Soan will kill the other. The reason it can be either is that it will have the same emotional impact on Pickles. 1. If Soan killed Allen then Pickles is going to be devastated. 2. If Allen kills Soan, Pickles will then have to deal with the fact that not only will Allen be a murder, but also he'd have to deal with the sheer mental break it'd cause Allen to realise he only stooped down to Soan's level…. Oh yeah I imagine at some point in DSR is when The Death™ of either Allen or Soan happens. Just to add insult to injury

A couple of random factoids I forgot when writing up a collective 1200+ words about them (look, they've been around forever, some stuff is bound to slip my mind)

Brenda is not as well-versed in swords as her brother, but she DOES keep a shortsword stuck to the magnet strip with the kitchen knives and a buckler tucked in with the cutting boards on the counter below, just in case.

She also has an embroidery sampler of the Long Term Radioactive Waste warning ('this is not a place of honor' etc.) that she did while snowed in real bad a couple years back.  It's framed and hanging in the front hall.

Torii on the other hand, is the fambly ranged-weapon-user, specifically a crossbow, but she's been known to be pretty handy with both sling and slingshot, she just likes the satisfying clonk of a crossbow.

Also while her hair is MOSTLY the same brown as her father's, there's also streaks of color, sometimes the whole underside, most often pink, but sometimes seasonal hues, and she will swear up and down that it's natural and she doesn't dye it.
