I am counting other people's money like it's my job 😄 but everything for my dear bylers.

I mean, ST s04 costed about $30.000.000 per episode. I saw it a long time ago so if I'm wrong please correct me.

It Chapter One by Andy Muschietti costed $33.000.000 and It Chapter Two by the same cool director costed $66.000.000.

It equals to three ST s04 episodes.

Muschietti did almost five hours of screen time for that money and he has some more in his pantry for the supercut everybody from Finn Wolfhard to your humble fellow Byler wants very much and still hoping for.

Please compare what they managed to show in those almost five hours of It and in how many hours of s04 plotwise? I think these two are comparable because of quality.

Now have you ever done any screencaps from ST episodes from s01-03? Is it easy? No, you have to work to capture the right moment without it being blurred because there are no long static shots of, say, people's faces, with hearteyes or not.

On the contrary you can have packs of clear almost similar captions in some shots in s04. That's what they did with the money: took really long screen time to show what could be cut to normal episode runtime without losing any important scenes. Because they could.

And THAT benefited us in those long loving shots of long loving stares of one Mike Wheeler among other things.

So plot/action ratio wasn't in favor of the former, the plot was not so paced for that many hours of screen time. But look at this!
