It's WIP Wednesday, where we share the latest line in our work in progress novels. Reblog or comment with yours! I'll start.
I have a few novels in the works right now, so here we go:
MirrorGaze:
"We hustled through the jungle, and I followed Nehuen’s footsteps as well as I was able. He moved with expertise over the jungle floor, and I felt like a fish out of water toddling along behind him. Every footfall I made crunched with leaves, sticks, and whatever else was beneath my sandals. I wouldn’t have stood a chance."
Appetite:
"When I had emptied the contents of my stomach, which had been nothing but liquor, I glanced back to the street. Oh. There was the gate and my way home."
