Two names with really simple jōyō kanji but a very interesting style. 矢口 is read Yaguchi, nice and easy, and 水上 Mizukami, Mizugami, Minakami, Mikami, Mizukami, Minagami, Mizokami, Mizuue, or Suijō.

矢 is read ya or shi, and it means arrow or dart. It's a new kanji for this blog!

口 is read kuchi, kō, or ku, and it means mouth or aperture.

水 is read mizu or sui, and it means water.

上 has about a billion readings, means up, upper, raise, above, on, etc. Someday I'll cover it more comprehensively in its own post!

Per l'adattamento del manga, pubblicato fra il 2006 e il 2017 e portato sui nostri scaffali da Flashbook Edizioni, vediamo tornare al lavoro lo studio WHITE FOX (Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World-, Utawarerumono: Mask of Truth), dietro alla regia di Masahiro Aizawa (Hakyu Hoshin Engi).

Con l'annuncio è stato confermato che la serie sarà divisa in due archi narrativi principali, che verranno raccontati nel corso di tre cour.

Samidare - Lucifer and Biscuit Hammer: svelati locandina e primo teaser trailer dell’anime

La serie animata tratta dal manga di Satoshi Mizukami sarà targata studio NAZ.

Pubblicati suI sito ufficiale la locandina e un primo teaser trailer di “Samidare - Lucifer and Biscuit Hammer” (Hoshi no Samidare), svelando che la serie animata comincerà ad andare in onda, sulle reti giapponesi, a partire dall’8 luglio.

Il popolare manga action adventure, firmato Satoshi Mizukami, verrà portato in tv dallo studio NAZ (Id:Invaded, Thermae Romae Novae), che sta producendo l’adattamento con l’aiuto da parte di JUMONDO.

Per quanto riguarda lo staff, la regia è in mano a Nobuaki Nakanishi (Guru Guru - Il girotondo della magia, This Healer’s a Handful, Mangirl!), mentre della sceneggiatura si occupano Yuichiro Momose (Africa Salaryman, So I’m a Spider, So What?) e Mizukami stesso, che in passato ha già contribuito a creare l’originale serie di “Planet With”.

Il design dei personaggi è curato da Hajime Hatakeyama, mentre la colonna sonora è realizzata da Takatsugu Wakabayashi (Ange Vierge, Dragonar Academy)

Diciamolo chiaro e tondo: se sei uno studente universitario tendenzialmente pigro, egoista e calcolatore, difficilmente potresti essere intrigato dall'idea di farti il mazzo per salvare il mondo. Soprattutto se a chiedertelo è un buffo lucertolone parlante, e se la minaccia da sventare consiste in… un gigantesco martello di pastafrolla fluttuante nello spazio!

Molto ma molto più interessante se la richiesta arriva dalla tua (carina!) vicina di casa – che poi dovrebbe essere la principessa alla guida dei dodici cavalieri presupposti a combattere il Biscuit Hammer –, e soprattutto se la prospettiva è quella, una volta salvato il mondo, di… distruggerlo con le proprie mani!

Il manga è stato serializzato sulla rivista Young King Ours dal giugno 2005 all’agosto 2010.

I 65 capitoli sono stati raccolti in 10 volumetti, pubblicati in Italia da Flashbook Edizioni.
