Der Monadenring In der Mitte des Rings erscheint das Symbol der Monade – ein Kreis mit einem Punkt in der Mitte. Rund um den Ring ist in archaischem Griechisch das einzige Gebot für den wirklich Erwachten eingraviert: „Erkenne dich selbst“.

Der Begriff Monade kommt vom griechischen Wort „Menein“, was „stabil sein“ bedeutet, und vom griechischen Wort „Monas“, was „Einheit“ bedeutet. Die alten Griechen nannten die Monade – die Basis, die Essenz, das Fundament und den Erbauer.

Die alten Pythagoräer glaubten, dass nichts ohne ein Zentrum existieren kann und dass sich die Existenz um das Zentrum dreht. Das Zentrum ist die Quelle, die nicht erfasst oder verstanden werden kann, die sich jedoch ausbreiten und zu einem Kreis werden kann.

Die Beziehung der Monade zu anderen Zahlen kann metaphorisch gesehen werden – jede Zahl bleibt gleich, wenn sie mit eins multipliziert oder dividiert wird; so bewahrt die Monade die Identität von allem, was existiert. Als die antiken Philosophen dies bemerkten, fragten sie sich, wie dieser Ein-/Einheitszustand zu den Vielen werden kann. Die Antwort war „als Spiegelbild“.

Die Monade ist die erste Stufe der Schöpfung, aus der sich der Samen des Lebens, die Blume des Lebens und die Frucht des Lebens sowie das Muster der Schöpfung selbst entwickeln.

Der Spruch „Erkenne dich selbst“ und das Symbol der Monade stellen das verborgene Geheimnis der Schöpfung dar – den EINEN, der in jedem von uns wohnt und sich selbst durch Schöpfung und Leben erfährt.
