im not religious or spiritual so idk if i believe in a heaven but, if one exists, i hope dad is up there bowling a bunch of perfect 300 games and subjecting everyone to genesis at full volume. meanwhile i'll continue to carry on his legacy of dad jokes and good music taste 🫡

I didn't make this, but we all HAVE to make sure this historic picture stays in circulation. That is why I am posting it now.

My first dog, my childhood pet, Lupus passed yesterday. He was 16, or 112 in dog years. A very very old man, especially for a dalmatian! He was born to be a family pet, he’s been with us through all 6 of our childhoods and a total of 4 toddlers, plus his own 11 puppies for a few very stressful months. He wasn’t very smart, couldn’t walk on hard wood floor or he would slip like bambi, would drip slobber on the floor if you were making anything in the kitchen, once nearly gave us carbon monoxide poisoning in his quest to get the sunday dinner roast chicken left of the back of the hob (he and our other dog who passed did in fact pick that chicken clean and we had to get fish and chips on the way back from the hospital after blood tests), and ultimately, was the perfect dog.
I remember the way he would climb on the sofa, stepping on me several times before settling down and sitting with me every night I couldn’t sleep. He would always be so excited to greet me when I came back to visit after I moved out. He had happy tail for like two years straight. He never barked or growled or bit even when my sister played dot to dot on him with felt tips in the 5 minutes she spent unsupervised, or when my other sister practically hung off his neck in a somewhat violent hug before she was pried off. He was kind of a wimp and our other dog who passed a couple of years ago was definitely in charge, and once when we tried them in separate beds, she kicked him out into the small one and he just tried to fit with no argument (the middle picture in the top row). He was so sweet and so stupid and he was the perfect dog. I miss him so much already, I miss him and Skylo, our other dalmatian who passed, and honestly I’m a little mad that he decided to die right now bc I have exams and a million other things and its kind of inconvenient but he always was - sometimes, he would just stand in your way until you had to move him yourself bc he had no idea he was in your way.

Those were all hallucinations because if you're patient rook he'll be the best lover anyone could have he'd take you out to the sweetest dates they feel like you're living a fairy tale, as soon as 12 am hits on your anniversary he'll be awake, just to kiss your face and hold you tightly, it's important to him even if he knows you don't realize it's happening, and once you do wake up you wake up to the sweetest man to ever exist he won't leave your side at all in that day he couldn't bear to do so, that's why he makes sure to clear up everything in his schedule two weeks before. he'd want to travel the world by your side, take you to experiences he knows you'll never forget and cherish forever he wants you to be by his side at all times of his life he can't imagine how he'd be had you not stayed by his side despite his flaws
ur so sweet aster it'd almost be inconceivable if there were ever a situation else wise 😵
for realsies though i may be an easily irritated person, im very patient in dealing with people and emotionally tense situations so me and rook? we gang fr we tight like a booty hole in here 🤭 im a very heavy sleeper so unless rook shakes me by the neck to give me a kiss i would NAWT gaf 🔥🔥🔥

Hey! I hope you don't mind the message - I just wanted to say, your tags made me cry. I'm so happy that our makin silly lil creatures over here could mean something to you all these years later.
You absolutely can do what you want, and make a living at it, and more people need to hear that. Everyone in our lives told us we couldn't - we were just too stubborn to listen.
I sincerely thank you, I'm going to look at these tags anytime I feel discouraged, and I hope we can make you a monster one day. <3
OH MY GOODNESS!!!! I didn't see this originally and finally checked my inbox and saw this.
Now I'm feeling teary eyed ... I genuinely think it was artists like you both, Melissa Curphy (@missmonstermel), and Allison Theus (@crispyfishsticks) who showed me at a young age you CAN make awesome monsters and be wonderfully successful and HAPPY doing so.
I'm not joking at all when I say I found your DeviantArt over 10 years ago and it stuck with me ever since. I've kept up with Homemade Horrors since then on multiple platforms. It was always a dream of mine to have a custom monster made by you both, and now that I have an actual career position (transgender healthcare, which still doesn't feel real! That this is happening and it's Real!!) I may be able to afford that someday. ❤️
For reference this is the post and tags and if you like the looks of this gorgeous creature you should DEFINITELY give them a follow!!!!! Homemade Horrors are AMAZING and everything Worms and Bones make together is always so full of love and creativity.

Month of May, everybody’s in love
Then the city was hit from above
And just when I knew what I wanted to say
A violent wind blew the wires away
We were shocked in the suburbs!
