(This is content for Humans-B-Gone!, an animated sci-fi series about a giant praying mantis who works in pest control--those pests including humans. Watch it on YouTube here: https://youtube.com/c/humansbgone )
The first minute and twenty seconds of animation are now completed, putting us over the halfway mark! This includes the twenty seconds I was thinking of cutting, so I'm especially pleased with that. Though much easier than the previous sequence, this was still a fairly complicated one, too.
By the way, $5+ patrons got to see the first completed minute earlier this week here: https://www.patreon.com/posts/5-exclusive-of-69567832
Additionally, props have been set up for Rose's scenes, and her walk cycle has been imported, extended, and integrated with the staged poses! I've also completed the broad movements for the first of the three Rose sequences.
This week, there will be some minor animation on props and Rose (luckily, she's about the easiest character to animate once her legs are out of the way). Once that's done, that'll be thirty seconds out of the way!
After that, work can begin animating the last forty seconds. There will be some complex prop interaction during these sequences--fortunately, the majority of animation can be tweaked from animation done already. Should be able to get some of that done by the end of next week, and all of it done by the week after!
With those two weeks out of the way, ideally, only background work and work on Gregorsa's lecture and notes will remain. However, backgrounds could take longer than expected, and some surprise sound work might come up too. But, we're still on track for an early September release! Until next time!

my mother of thousands! aka Kalanchoe laetivirens
she's not the prettiest because before she was put on my windowsill my mom had her downstairs in a bathroom with no windows, but she handled that situation fine and shes been showing great recovery with new leaves growing in.
all of her babies are from the biggest leaf on the right and i cant wait to see how well she continues to grow
she's currently in a shallow 2.5in pot but as her and her babies grow ill probably move her up
