The Naomi Belfort Challenge
Hello Angels, this challenge is for all of my affirming girlies! I rewatched The Wolf of Wallstreet today and got inspired to create this challenge. Naomi is flawlessy beautiful and desired by every guy she meets so why not become like her? ;) This Challenge is amazing to improve your self concept and discipline.
So first of all I need you to create a new identity for yourself. Naomi is sexy, confident and angelically beautiful so from now on you will identify with being a flawless beauty, desired by everyone. I would recommend making a vision board of the vibe that you want to embody.
So now what I want you to do every morning after waking up is repeating these affirmations.
💕 I‘m the perfect beauty.
💕 I’m the hottest girl on earth.
💕 I‘m the prettiest, sexiest and coolest.
💕 Everybody wants me.
💕 Every guy wants me.
Say these affirmations in the morning in front of your mirror and during the day whenever you think of them.
Before going to bed I want you to listen to an affirmation tape, I personally like this one :
youtube
Live everyday with Naomis aura and attitude. Take care of yourself, move your body, go out and enjoy your life. Naomi loves to enjoy her life, she loves pleasure and luxury. KILL THE INSECURITIES!! From now on you’re the hottest girl on the planet. But most importantly STICK TO THE NEW STORY. You’re not the old version of yourself anymore alright? From now on you’re an ethereal goddess, everybody’s dream girl, a fantasy come to life.

Reflection #4: These past couple weeks I worked on putting my logos together and making sure that they came out fitting for the characters. I picked Jordan Belfort and Naomi Lapaglia from The Wolf of Wall Street, which is one of my favorite movies. By far logo design has been the toughest project here, because as someone who illustrates a lot, I definitely have a hard time simplifying designs. Using the Gestalt principles and using negative space was definitely the most compelling way to present an idea that I've learned in graphic design. I tried to use two of the principles in my work, but if I had more time, I would make Naomi's more creative because sometimes I feel like the idea is too simple. I would also play around with color if I had more time, but I loved being able to do whatever you wanted in this assignment. I think it was super challenging but also fun that we got to use a character that wasn't a cartoon, because it really tested our love for the show/movie and how well we knew it enough to be able to pick out little objects, places or characteristics that influenced our logos. My friend who I saw for spring break in new york is trying to make a women's golf clothing company and wants me to draw out some logos for her. I will definitely use the drawing sheet prompts to make it because I have no many random ideas put need help making one, cohesive design. The fact that I'm already using this in real world application is really exciting and I feel like I finally have the tools to be able to do it and be proud of what I present. Hopefully we do more with this and simplified designs because I would like to improve my skills more.

Breaking Down Margot Robbie’s Iconic Roles
Tumblr media
In the world of Hollywood, certain stars shine brighter than others, and Margot Robbie is undoubtedly one of them at the moment. With her outstanding acting abilities and captivating presence, Robbie has graced our screens with memorable performances time and again. From her breakout role in “The Wolf of Wall Street” to her recently popular portrayal of Barbie, She has continuously proven her power as an actress. As the hype around her continues to grow, it’s only fitting to take a nostalgic trip through her filmography and rank some of her most outstanding and memorable works.
Tumblr media
1. “I, Tonya”
(2017)
In this biographical comedy and drama, Robbie delivers an emotional performance as the infamous figure skater, Tonya Harding. Her portrayal is very raw, earning her widespread acclaim and an Academy Award nomination for Best Actress, as well as thousands of fans watching for that perfect close-up of the actor’s passionate performance. Robbie’s ability to capture Harding’s complexities makes “I, Tonya” an amazing cinematic experience worth every second. Filled with drama and excitement, there is never a dull moment in the movie.
Tumblr media
2. “The Wolf of Wall Street”
(2013)
Scorsese’s tale of excess and greed wouldn’t be complete without Robbie’s portrayal of Naomi Lapaglia, the feisty wife of Jordan Belfort, a former stockbroker and financial criminal. Despite being relatively new to Hollywood at the time, Robbie commanded the screen alongside Leonardo DiCaprio with effortless charm and undeniable charisma. With this success, Robbie became loved by men and women everywhere, showing us that even when crime is involved, you can still look stunning in pink.
Tumblr media
3. “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood”
(2019)
In Tarantino’s artistic love letter to 1960s Hollywood, Robbie embodies the essence of Sharon Tate, capturing her innocence and warmth with grace. Her appeal is evident, even though there are too few lines for her to deliver on. While her role may be more understated and smaller in this compared to others on this list, Robbie’s presence adds depth and authenticity to the film’s nostalgic atmosphere, something that would have been missing tremendously without her.
Tumblr media
4. “Suicide Squad” (2016)
As Harley Quinn, an unpredictable anti-heroine, Robbie added a much-needed jolt of energy into the DC Extended Universe, with her violent yet eccentric charm. With such a star-studded cast, some would have questioned Robbie’s ability to make herself stand out. But when the reviews came, it was apparent that she had a playful yet very memorable performance. While the film itself received some mixed reviews, Robbie’s portrayal of the character was pretty universally praised, solidifying her status as a fan favorite.
Tumblr media
5. “Bombshell” (2019)
Robbie takes on the role of Kayla Pospisil, a fictionalized character representing the experiences of other women at Fox News during the Roger Ailes sexual harassment scandal. Throughout the movie, she transitions from a young and naive character when she first enters the newsroom to a more moral-based character in the aftermath. Despite sharing the screen with other powerful actresses like Charlize Theron and Nicole Kidman, Robbie holds her own and delivers a standout performance that is both emotional and powerful.
Tumblr media
6. “Birds of Prey” (2020)
In this female-led spin-off of “Suicide Squad,” Robbie redoes her role as Harley Quinn, this time taking center stage in a comedy adventure filled with action and female empowerment. While the film may have flown under the radar for some who enjoy this universe, Robbie’s magnetic performance remains a highlight in the movie, showcasing her ability to showcase even the most outlandish characters with depth. Robbie’s eccentric adventure abandons the typical dark tones of the superhero universe in favor of fun and energy, resulting in unapologetic excitement. It is almost as if Gotham had made a music video.
As we reflect on Margot Robbie’s career, it becomes clear that her talent has no bounds at the moment. Whether portraying real-life people such as Tonya Harding or larger-than-life characters such as Barbie, Robbie consistently captivates audiences with her skills and dedication to her craft. With each new role, she pushes the boundaries of what it means to be a leading lady in Hollywood, leaving an indelible mark on cinema in the process, for men and women alike. As we anticipate and wait for her future projects, one thing is certain. Margot Robbie’s stardom will continue to rise, illuminating the silver screen for years to come.

"The Wolf of Wall Street" (2013) catapults you into the exhilarating, morally ambiguous world of Jordan Belfort, played with magnetic energy by Leonardo DiCaprio, alongside a powerhouse ensemble cast including Jonah Hill and Margot Robbie.
DiCaprio's portrayal of Belfort is a tour de force, exuding charisma and recklessness in equal measure, inviting you into a world of excess and ambition. Jonah Hill's performance as Belfort's eccentric partner-in-crime adds a layer of comedic brilliance to the chaos, while Margot Robbie's magnetic presence as Naomi Lapaglia showcases both vulnerability and strength.
Rodrigo Prieto's cinematography is a visual feast, capturing the opulence and decadence of Belfort's world with vibrant hues and kinetic energy that immerses you in the extravagance of the '90s.
Martin Scorsese's directorial prowess is evident in every frame. He navigates the hedonistic Wall Street culture with unflinching honesty, painting a portrait of unchecked greed and its intoxicating allure. The film's relentless pace and dynamic storytelling mirror Belfort's adrenaline-fueled rise and fall.
"The Wolf of Wall Street" isn't just a biographical film; it's a bold exploration of excess, ambition, and the darker facets of the American Dream. It's a wild, unapologetic ride that confronts you with questions about morality, power, and the seductive nature of wealth.

Movie Review - The Wolf of Wall Street
“There’s no friends on Wall Street.”
I revisited The Wolf of Wall Street for the first time since I last saw it in theaters almost 10 years ago. All the Caligula-esque hedonism and debauchery tailor-made for a modern-day capitalist society spare us no mercy. Jordan Belfort and his cronies raise the bar for working hard and playing hard. I laughed during the most outrageous scenes. It is apparent that Jonah Hill is trying to go 200 miles an hour as Donnie Azoff. When he mocked and berated a bow-tie-wearing, naïve stockbroker by swallowing his pet goldfish whole, it had me in stitches. Oh, let’s not forget the Quaaludes episode that ends in a severely damaged Lamborghini and a choking incident that parallels a Popeye episode. I cried during scenes that hit me harder than I anticipated. In my opinion, one of the most disturbing scenes was towards the end. During a heartbreaking argument with Margot Robbie’s Naomi Lapaglia about getting a divorce, Belfort resorts to cutting up a cushion on one of his nice sofas just to retrieve a bag of cocaine. There was no hope during this moment. My jaw hit the floor during the most bizarre and shocking moments that arguably weren’t necessary to show. There is a Dante’s Inferno vibe during the house or yacht parties and celebrations at the workplace.
Of course, The Wolf of Wall Street is wildly entertaining and edited in a manner that makes its three-hour runtime feel like one hour. Most of the good ol’ boys, who watch this movie, will probably cheer and feel inspired. At the end of the day, however, this movie should make you angry. After all the fun is done, the consequences won’t magically vanish. Everyone has to face them eventually. It’s an ongoing theme that Martin Scorsese never fails to address when he wrapped up his more aggressive stories such as Raging Bull, Goodfellas, and Casino.
Unfortunately, Jordan Belfort just got a slap on the wrist for his whirlwind adventures fueled by drugs, sex, luxuries, and all the stock fraud that spoon-fed him this lifestyle in the first place. Remember, The Wolf of Wall Street is a mirror that wants you to wake up and reevaluate your motives in your chosen career, not an escape from reality that makes you feel invincible for an entire afternoon. When the final scene where Belfort is speaking at a conference abruptly ends, it’s like waking up with a hangover after a fun night out on the town. Sure, there are the crazy memories, but that searing headache will make you rethink certain choices that you made.
To quote a friend of mine, The Wolf of Wall Street is simply Scorsese making his vision of an Oliver Stone film. Belfort’s 2007 memoir is the right template for this approach.
