The specific nebulae I chose isn't for any particular reason, I just chose what I thought looked pretty/fitting.

Also the names for these nebulae are just so amazing. Like dandelion puffball? Little ghost? Adorable.

(The reason I didn't include these in my other aspec flag set posts is because I didn't know how they should be designed. But I decided to give it a try now, I think they work?)

i think specifically quoiplatonic because i cannot understand platonic attraction as a concept or feeling, i find the concept of platonic attraction to be inaccessible, inapplicable, and nonsensical, and i disidentify with the concept of platonic attraction as a social construct and as something potentially applicable to myself. here’s the site i sourced from.

i also identify with the term “nebulaplatonic” because my inability to understand the concept of platonacy (is that a word ?) and distinguish it from romance is directly related to me being neurodivergent. here’s the site for that too.

i also somewhat identify with cupioplatonic, but also kinda not? cause i have a lot of complicated feelings about friendship and so i would say that i am friendship ambivalent. i mean, i like having friends, but i don’t want traditional friendships? like, in the same way i want a partner/partners, but not romantic ones. or queerplatonic ones. or… regular platonic ones.

i guess i just don’t want to put any kind of conventional label on my feelings for others. but i like doing things with people that are widely considered inherently romantic or platonic. you get? like, i can’t sort my relationships with others or the things we do with each other into relational categories. i just wanna vibe with people. and what “vibing” entails is what all parties involved are comfortable with at the time.

i still really like the word “companion”, but i have also gotten comfortable using the word “friend” as a synonym for “ally” cause that way it’s much more neutral. i do not like using that word lightly though, so if i ask/agree to be friends with someone, it’s less about how i feel about them and more an establishment of trust (which is waaaay more important to me than attraction or love btw).

anyways, just a cool little thing that i wanted to share cause it’s important to me and yeah. byeee!

how come I don’t feel love for my friends family or romantic partner? it just doesn’t feel like I can feel anything /most/ of the time.. like I can’t care. I’m numb. feel nothing. and it feels the same for all of them. does anyone else with autism experience that or is this like a loveless aplatonic aro kind of thing? it’s not that I don’t want friends or anything I do but I often have no feelings. sometimes I do want romantic things with my partner and enjoy it but I’m also numb so often and question what really is love and romantic attraction. can u relate to that experience or help make sense of it? it’s okay if not I’m just trying to find someone who can relate to know that I’m not the only one and what label i can use?

its completely okay if you dont feel attraction, or even anything towards anyone else. im not autistic my self but ive read that thats how some autistics are ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ (correct me if im wrong)

this can be definitely be a loveless aplatonic aro thing! lack of attraction can vary (spectrum, duh) and people who feel N O T H I G do exist!

love, romantic and platonic attraction have a lot of overlap, it really depends on what you view an action/behavior as. again, there are tons of people who have the same problem!! youre not alone in this!!!

some labels i think would fit would be cupio-familial,-platonic,-romantic. cupio meaning that you WANT to have those relationship, but cant return the attraction. also quoi-familial,-platonic,-romantic, as in not being able to differentiate between romantic and platonic attraction. a sub-label of quoi- is nebularomantic and nebulaplatonic, as in not being able to differentiate between romantic and platonic attraction due to neurodiversity.

the most important thing to know is that your feelings are completely valid and real!! i hope this help :))))
