Kind of trite, but I wish there were lycanthropy mechanics for Tav in BG3. Both because I have a werewolf monk character from 5e I'd love to play and because a werewolf/vampire Tav/Astarion pairing would be cute.

Okay so that’s Astral Valentine, he’s a member of the long running Valentine family and is a young 15 year old prince who will soon be crowned king as his father is dying from a deadly illness that has no cure
While he seems nice and somewhat normal, Astral is a massive bastard, he doesn’t care about anyone other than himself, he will do anything no matter how good or bad it is in order to get his way, when he was 13 he even went as far as to have a girl publicly executed so that he could get engaged to the girls fiancé, only for the engagement to get called off a year later
However he soon finds that his actions have dire consequences as the townsfolk don’t want him to rule, some even planning to kill him. So when the kingdom faces a threat larger than any other, Astral takes it upon himself to save the kingdom so that he can keep his head and can be king, but he realizes that he needs help, so he confides in the strongest people in the land to help him in his journey
This includes a 19 year old girl named Sora Skywrite, who is incredibly resentful towards the Valentine family as she is a demon and her people were slaughtered at the hands of Astrals parents, however Astral isn’t aware of this and tries to befriend Sora, leading to some actually kinda wholesome moments
On his journey, the group notices that he talks to his crown. This because the crown has a demon inside of it, one that is evil and corrupts the mind of whoever wears the crown, including Astral. When he takes it off, he’s a normal person, a kind and just ruler, but with it on he’s essentially insane and does things that no human could ever comprehend the idea of doing on their own. Without the crown, he’s insecure, scared, he doesn’t think that he’s fit to rule a whole kingdom on his own, especially at his age
But because he’s had it for so long, the crown is beginning to bind to him, leaving scars on his arm from the time he tried to rip it off, as far as he’s aware he’s trapped in this hell of insanity with no escape, and if he doesn’t find a way to get rid of it, he’ll die at the hands of his people
Love when a character has magical scars and love when a character is magically corrupted.
Honestly he sounds so cool. Not like a cool person (maybe without the crown) but like a cool character. Can't believe he beheaded a girl at thirteen years old just to go back on it a year later. Commitment issues fr /j
At least he's trying to do the right thing and is a chill guy without the crown :) but also I stan evil hopelessly magically corrupted characters so him with the crown on is also fun

i’m spending today thinking about how saber toothed cats ALSO probably had a potato form. how they also had a stage where they were fat little babies with very triangle tails and tiny squeaky voices. how they also probably play wrestled and failed badly at calculating jumps.
i’m going to fistfight god for killing them off before i could personally see fat potato saber kittens
