xB was fully taking advantage of the lack of hermits on the hermitcraft server when his communicator rang. It said Keralis, of all people. xB picked it up and answered.

“Hello?”

“What are you doing right now?” Keralis asked.

“Uhhhh…” xB looked around at the ice cream containers scattered around the hotel room he’d broken into in ScarLand. “Nothing. What’s up?”

“Ah, Princess, I am heartbroken! Even too heartbroken to ask you what you’d do if I was there right now.” Keralis sighed.

xB rolled his eyes, adjusting his communicator against his ear. “And why are you heartbroken, Keralis?”

“Well, you may have noticed I am not in Hermitcraft at the moment- are you missing me terribly, Princess?”

“No.” xB said, then giggled.

“Ah, twice the heartbreak for poor Keralis!” Keralis sighed dramatically. “Anyway, I went through the pesky bird’s rift, and ended up in a beautiful world of empires, with some beautiful people. And I met a bodacious man, Papi Sausage.”

“Full stop.” xB said. “What?”

“What? That is his name!” Keralis replied.

“I- how much do I have to pay you to never speak again?”

Keralis chuckled. “You do not have enough diamonds in the world, Princess. Anyway, you know, I can not resist a man and his wood-”

xB choked on his ice cream. “I’m sorry?”

“Papi Sausage, he sells wood, and you know how much I love wood! xB, your mind is unclean!”

“I will hang up.”

“No, no, Princess, you would never!” Keralis cried. “Anyway, you know, we might have smooched a bit, you know how it is, and I was happy! But today, I found out that Sausage has kissed Bubbles! As well as most of the people of Empires! I am heartbroken, xB!”

“Oh please, Keralis.” xB snorted. “You kiss like ten hermits a day. Kinda hypocritical of you to be upset when you’d do the same thing.”

“Ah, clever girl.” Keralis sighed. “Perhaps you are right.”

“You should kiss more people. Make it into a competition.” xB suggested. “It would be funny.”

“Ah, I would kiss my Princess if he were here! When will you come through the portal?”

“Eh, you know I don’t do that kind of stuff anymore.” xB said.

“Anymore? What do you mean?” Keralis asked curiously.

“Uh… I- you know, I think I just heard… a fish? Bye!” xB hung up rather quickly.
