Work has just been a lot to handle lately. I admit I have a very fragile resolve. Blow after blow of near misses, miscommunication, and disappointments are giving me feelings of incompetence and not feeling good enough for my job. My morale is low, my energy to keep going is utterly drained, and my anxiety an all time high. I need a pause. I need a recharge. I need a great cup of coffee.

Vague concept doodles I was playing w/ for the idea of what spider syndrome might look like in satyrs . Kinda couldn't really make these look right though, just like the actual guy's design

Today was just a shitty day that started horrid and never let up. Coming back to my unit after transferring a patient to another ward, I was just plain exhausted. My shoulders drooping and my face defeated, I saw my patient’s relative walk towards me with a smile. She said, “let me give you a hug”, and I just let her and hugged her back. I needed it today.

one thing that seems to prevalent in almost any lestappen fanfic is that ferrari doesn't care about charles, and that fred especially is made to be this villain, and its just... maybe people just don't know because they weren't around in 2022, or maybe they just forgot, but things were bad in ferrari in 2022 to the point where charles threatened to leave because of the bad management--and ferrari scrambled to keep him. they fired binotto (the tp) and a bunch of the staff (like head strategist) because of charles, they got fred because he and charles were on good terms, the team is literally being build around charles.

i don't immediately dislike the fanfic if ferrari is the antagonist of the story (but some reason rbr isn't lmao), i just think it's strange that ferrari is always the big bad guy

i hateeee jokes about arab parents only wanting sons and not wanting daughters because 1- when it's like that, that's an awful thing and not something to be joked about and 2- it spits on the face of every arab parent who consistently has to put their middle finger up to the world and say fuck you my daughter is my greatest treasure and i'd rather have her than a thousand sons and i won't hear a word against her!! because in my experience these are the most loving parents to be found in the whole wide world

I wish I could send some non-typewritten love letters to the music/sound effect department that worked on dead boy detectives. So many of the sudden tonal shifts are carried by carefully placed soundtrack behind the dialogue, without which I don't think they would work as exceptionally as they do.
