Chapter 5

The drive back to your university with your mom was excruciating. You hadn’t told anyone what’d happened which meant you had to keep a happy demeanor around them throughout the holidays up until now. Dread had settled in your stomach once the drive began and continued to spread the closer you got, similar to when you’re headed to the doctors or the dentist, just a million times worse.

Texting Ella and Sky had helped a surprising amount, turning the majority of your anxiety into rage. Ella was furious when she found out, so her fury, and Sky’s, quickly became yours.

They hyped you up, ready to be at your side and assist in tearing “that shitty fratfuck” to shreds. The support meant so much after everything, especially after the reality of it all set in; you’d seen the picture via snapchat from someone you didn’t know, so how many others had seen it?

Your worst fear was being seen as easy, being used like you were. But you weren’t, were you? Your friends had made sure to try and convince you otherwise, you had to give them that, yet even with the facts laid out in front of you, it was still hard to divert your thoughts away from that ever-looming self-doubt.

Seeing the campus come into view only served to solidify those thoughts and feelings. No matter what Sky and Ella had tried or are willing to do for you, it just wasn’t enough to fix what’s been done.

Your mom helped you bring your suitcase up to your dorm, giving you a tight hug and a kiss on the temple before saying goodbye and heading on her way. Playing okay around your family all winter break was exhausting, so you just chose to sit in silence on your bed instead of unpacking your stuff. Always prepared, you wanted to get here a few days early, using unpacking and settling back in as an excuse, when really you just needed time to collect yourself before the inevitable happened.

He was here, and you were sure he’d seek you out eventually once he spotted you, or maybe when one his friends did and the word made its way back to him. Whichever way it happened, you knew it’d be unfavorable.

“Hey,” Ella’s voice from the doorway caught your attention, “you look miserable..” How hadn’t you heard the door open?

“I am miserable, but uh.. let’s just pretend I’m not, okay?” You replied, barely cracking a smile as you glanced up at her.

She gave you a weak laugh in return, letting the door close as she slowly sauntered over to you, plopping down right next to you on the edge of the bed. “Fine, yeah. You haven’t shown me your schedule yet, by the way.”

“Oh, right-” you paused to reach over and grab your bag, rifling through the various papers in there until finally pulling out the schedule you printed out a couple weeks back. “It’s mostly the classes that aren’t fun.” You stopped to look at your schedule for a brief moment before passing the paper over to Ella, who quickly snatched it from your hand.

She squinted dramatically, holding the paper only a couple inches away from her face. “Yeaaah, these aren’t the best. At least it looks like you’ll have the majority of your pre-reqs out of the way for next year though.” Her observation made you chuckle with a nod.

“Which is what I’m trying to do. Work myself to the bone now, chill out later.”

“Don’t kill yourself trying to do everything in one fell swoop.”

“I promise I won’t Ella, this is just how I-” A knock on the door drew both yours and Ella’s attention away from each other, an immediate scowl settling on her face. You wanted to ask, but it seems she already knew what you were going to say, quickly shushing you in a hushed voice, “Sky won’t be here until tomorrow night. Don’t answer that.”

You paused, thought for a moment, then nodded once with pursed lips. Ella was a pretty serious person, the mom of the group you could say, so when she pulled that tone, you knew better than to test it. Besides, you didn’t want to see who or what was on the other side of the door, you needed more time.

The next day was a little better, if uneventful. You finally brought yourself to unpack your suitcase, a chance to reorganize everything since you’d gotten a few new things over the holidays. Ella stuck close, bringing food up and into your dorm to take advantage of the empty mini fridge while the two of you binge watched a few random movies.

You stayed cozied up in your bed, having already mapped out and memorized your walking path for each class; longer, less foot traffic to and from. All you had to do was get through the rest of this year, that’s all. Little extra walking never hurt anyone, right?

When classes actually started, the long and complicated walks actually worked for a time; no one gave you strange looks, no one tried to talk to you, and it was pretty quiet. Scenic. But everyone knows everything good must come to an end eventually, and of course it had to be when you were just starting to forget all of this mess.

He caught you between classes. Scenic walks backfired massively when you realized there wasn’t anyone else around on that part of campus. Guess you didn’t think this one all the way through.

You couldn’t help but notice he looked pretty roughed up, sporting a few bruises along his cheekbone, a split lip, and a healing black eye. Seems he’s been busy over winter break.

“Listen, please listen-” Leon pleaded, holding his hands out in a weak attempt to trap you in the hallway. All this did was make you even more uncomfortable. “I know what I did was wrong, but I was not the one who sent that picture around, I swear.” You just stood in place after a few tries to get around him, giving him an almost bored stare. He didn’t really expect to finally catch you, so he stumbled over his words as he continued to ramble.

“I-.. I’m so, so sorry for doing that to you,” he slowly lowered his hands back down to his sides once he was sure you’d stay to listen, “I know that what I did was terrible, and I mean it when I say that I am sorry. I wish there was a way to turn back time and undo it, but I can't. I can't even explain why I did it in the first place, but that's not an excuse. I just- I messed up big time and I was- am stupid for letting it happen.”

To you this seemed sincere, but you really couldn’t be sure and it was safe to assume it wasn’t. Leon managed to trick you for months, who’s to say this wasn’t a trick as well?

Your look turned skeptical, crossing your arms tightly against your chest with a shaky breath. Despite handling this better than you thought you would, it was still nerve wracking having this kind of talk.

“I'm not good at this, but I'm more than willing to do whatever it takes to make things right, if that's even possible..” Leon breathed out, panting as he tried to catch his breath after talking so fast. “I managed to uh-.. to find everyone who had the picture and I made them delete it.”

“I made them delete the picture.” He repeated, taking another moment to breathe before suddenly looking down to yank something out of his pocket. “I-I got your uh-.. these-”

Seeing him hold up your panties so casually made you gasp, immediately looking around the hallway to make sure it was still empty before shooting him a glare, whispering a harsh “Put them back! Put them back!” which made him scramble to hide them in his pocket again.

“Right- right, sorry! Sorry…” Leon was sweating at this point, growing increasingly anxious under your gaze. He didn’t want to mess this up any further, but man he was doing a pretty shitty job at that right now.

His hands were shoved into his pockets as well, both of you blushing with embarrassment, and also shame on Leon’s part. Once he managed to slow his breathing, he started to talk again, a noticeable frown tugging at the corner of his lips. “You don’t.. have to forgive me or anything, I just wanted to make sure you knew that hardly anyone knows and-” His adam’s apple bobbed as he swallowed dryly, turning his head to the side to look at the wall, “.. and that I’m sorry. I really do like you, I guess I just took a little too long to realize it…”

You made another quick glance over your shoulder before looking back at the man trembling in front of you who was still avoiding your gaze. You wanted to hate him so bad, so bad, but it was hard when all you could see was the Leon who was so sweet, the Leon who let you cry to him when the weight of the world was on your shoulders and made you feel so wanted and loved.

“Can we-” you cleared your throat and pulled the strap of your backpack further up onto your shoulder, rocking back and forth on the balls of your feet. “Can we talk later, maybe? Like, in my dorm? I don’t want anyone overhearing any of this..”

Leon perked up when he heard you talk, pulling his hands from his pockets to nervously rake his fingers through his hair, which was now partially damp from the sweat beading off his forehead. “Oh- OH! Yeah, of- of course, yeah, I’m sorry I didn’t- I just needed to-”

You waved your hands in front of your chest, shutting him up so he didn’t spill any further. "And throw those away." He nodded silently, wiping a hand down his face until it settled right in front of his lips, probably knowing he was talking too much at this point.

There was one more class you needed to go to that day, so you hurried off after telling him to wait outside your dorm until you were done, and he promised he would. Very adamantly, too. At least he held true to his words, standing in the hallway right in front of your dorm room like a lost puppy when you turned the corner. It was cute for a second, though annoyance quickly replaced that feeling as you walked over and let him in.

You weren’t exactly ready to have a full blown talk, but then again, no one ever was. What made it easier was your roommate never returned that semester, assuming she dropped out, so you basically had the whole dorm to yourself for the rest of the year. Or until someone had a roommate issue and needed a change. Didn’t really matter to you at that point.

There was really only one thing on your mind and that was getting Leon to explain this whole ordeal to you. You needed detail, clarification, anything to help you understand what’d been going on behind your back during that time. And he did, telling you just about everything he could; who suggested the bet, who roped him into the idea, the second guessings he had since the start, how he could’ve done literally anything else to avoid the way it all played out, everything.

Obviously you couldn’t just forgive him like that, even though he kept telling you how sorry he was and how terrible he felt about it. You wanted to forgive him, but you weren’t ready, and he understood that. He would’ve been satisfied with any response you gave him, so having been given the chance to really explain and have you listen was more than enough in his eyes.

“And just so you know, my friends aren’t going to let you off the hook,” you pulled your legs up so you were sitting criss-cross on the bed, looking across at Leon who was sitting on the bed opposite of yours.

“Yeah, I know..” he chuckled awkwardly, reaching a hand back to rub at the nape of his neck. “I was honestly expecting them to jump me, but they just give me evil looks whenever they see me.”

You couldn’t help but let out a small laugh, making a mental note to question Sky and Ella about that later. “You’ll never get nice looks from them again and I won’t be vouching for you.”

Leon nodded, silence blanketing the room as you’d finally run out of things to discuss. Though it was awkward, it was nice to have him hanging around again. “Anyways,” you started, standing up from your bed slowly as you vaguely gestured towards the door, “I need to study, sooo…”

“Oh, yeah, totally, uhm..” he followed suit, standing up from the other bed before sauntering over to the door as you held it open for him. He walked out and turned around almost instantly, a small smile suddenly appearing on his face once his eyes met yours, his arms jerking upwards slightly as if to suggest a hug.

“Don’t push it.”

“Yes, ma’am.”

Lookism Chapter 441 Memes/Thoughts I Have:

(SPOILERS !!! I don’t own any of the Lookism panels and the translations. Only the memes that I made. The sole purpose of this is to provide summaries/reviews for each chapter so if you don’t want to see the rest of it, then just keep scrolling. It’s your choice.)

I really said that I was going to work on this chapter review but I didn't do it until a few days after the chapter has been posted online... Woops, my bad. (My posts will be queued for now, so I didn't post this CURRENTLY. Sorry in advance if I randomly post at around 4 in the morning or something.) Most of you guys probably already saw this, but you know what? Time to bring dinner onto the table! 🍲

UMMMM… HELLO??? I stg, if he's referring to Goo... 😭 But oh man, if he were to replace Goo, I wonder how Gun is going to react. And I already heard ab the rumors going around, regarding to what PTJ mentioned before. Even the thing about someone's death, and whatnot. Yes, I know man. 💀 But in all honesty, this Charles Choi arc though... I like it so far. Minus... the death and Charles Choi himself because it's a catalyst for an event that'll happen in the future. Also, yes Charles, you piece of shit. Jichang won't ever think of joining you lol. Even if he agreed, what is there to benefit if he were to side with you? 😀

I don't think anyone has commented on what Charles Choi said about Jichang being a strategist, and he's right about that. Unlike many fighters, I noticed how Jichang is very meticulous when it comes to fighting. He assesses his opponents, like where to properly attack and he notes their weak points and people's most vulnerable spots to aim at, which makes his Battle I.Q. much bigger in comparison to the other First Generation Kings, who just fight with a passionate drive with fists during their fights. (Reminds me of current Daniel.) He's very clever too, and that's one of the reasons why I like Jichang's character.

Ok, for starters... Don't they have those DNA test thingies where they investigate thoroughly in crime scenes? Bruh, Charles Choi was HOLDING the gun. CAN'T THEY NOT IDENTIFY HIS OWN FINGERPRINTS??? Jacks is the one who she's definitely referring to when she said, "I was trying to break a particular character, who I felt really needed to be broken." After that ending, we now see how exactly Stephanie broke Jacks's heart in TBONA 😭💔.

And thank goodness for that! I know I couldn't say goodbye to Evangeline and Jacks, and the Magnificent North so soon 😭

Question #4 and Question #5

"Currently" is the keyword here 😉 I'll be so excited to see her write a Chaos story! As a vampire prince, Chaos seems like someone who would go above and beyond for his desires. Or any other story about other Fates or a certain daughter!

Question #6 and half of Question #9

When I first heard that ACFTL was "unexpected," I really thought Stephanie was writing something so gut wrenching that would break all out hearts. However, I got more clarification here. ACFTL seems to have gone beyond an outline and now the story has changed somewhat. But fear not! Evajacks is endgame! They will get married! 😉🦊🍎

As for the shocking ending, I think she means TBONA and endings in general. Not that ACFTL would end with something ambiguous. It would be shocking, but not in the way that TBONA was.

Question #8

I'm so intrigued by this! It must be such a grand ending or latter part of the book! In TBONA, the first THE END and the second chapter 43 and onwards was one of the most incredible things I have read in a book 🤩 I imagine ACFTL would have something similar in that respect.

Since it's going to be two POVS, then I'm guessing these two PoVs would collide toward the end to officially close off the story 😭❤

I really think Stephanie is apologizing for what she did to Evangeline in TBONA 😄 and some for what would happen in ACFTL. But I'm not really worried about this. It makes me feel reassured. Evangeline will get her memories back, because if Stephanie was hypothetically apologizing to her at the end, Evangeline would have to know for what 😉

Not really ACFTL-related, but oh boy I'm so excited to see who these morally-gray characters are. The way Stephanie writes villains and enemies is chef's kiss 😘 She definitely gets it, and I love that so much!

This one has so much information! There will be scenes that will possibly upset us, scenes that will delight us, and others that will give us all the good stuff! She wrote this for the readers, after all! 😉

Your story writing and symbolism never ceases to amaze me. The bits and pieces of significant object or events that references the earlier parts of the story and makes the pieces fall into place are so DELICIOUS like idek any other word for it because it’s just so *chefs kiss*

I’m just gonna point out a few I’ve noticed because it’s honestly wrecking me internally so much and I need you to know that 🫵🏻🫵🏻🫵🏻💖

1) THE FIRE

The way demon Jungkook just spawns these little flames out of nowhere and MC is like ??? But it turns out it’s just smth he’s been doing THEIR WHOLE FRIENDSHIP TOGETHER AS A WAY TO CALM HER ANXIETY LIKE ARE YOU KIDDING ME WITH THAT ONE RUN ME OVER WITH A CROP DUSTER

2) THE VASE

that little vase that Taehyung gifted her after her miscarriage that she smashed 😭😭 why just whyyyyyyy stop making these little objects the cause of my mental breakdown (jk ily and your stories 🥺)

3) THE TREE SCENE

I’m not exactly too sure on this one tbh but that scene when she was in hell and weeping over the forest as she hugged the tree, was that supposed to represent the imaginary friend she had been talking to all along? Or did it remind her of them? But still the chills 😩 also I wasn’t sure if that little girl she saw in the tunnel was supposed to be some evil version of her daughter 👁️👁️ but also was her daughter actually her daughter or an Angel that took on the form of her daughter

4) DEMONS AND THEIR DEMON BUSINESS

THAT CHAPTER WAS JUST A HUGE RECALL TO AN EARLIER SCENE IN THE STORY, when demon JK made a deal with a woman but her partner ended up dying. It’s almost like they intentionally give them hope only to crush it and take it away from them, even more so because it’ll be too late and they can’t do anything having given their soul. The event of MC being cured only for her to become sick not long after and dying are literally paralleled with that woman, only with JK being the demon. But also FUCK Jisoo and that stank ass kid I could never be as kind and gentle as MC like YOURE ON YOUR MFKN OWN 👋

5) LUCIFER

The way I KNEW that he was gonna be the one to make the deal with Jungkook like THE SECOND THAT SLUT WALKED IN AND YOU DESCRIBED HIS TATTOO ANSJDJKFJF

5) THE KISS

oh god I saved the best for last… this one broke me because I KNEW IT I KNEWWWW THE SECOND MC WENT LIKE “is that all I get? ☺️” MY SOUL WAS GONNA BE BLENDED, JUICED AND THROWN DOWN THE SINK 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 AND THATS NOT EVEN THE WORST PART, BECAUSE THAT DIRECTLY TIES INTO WHY ANGEL MC STOPPED DEMON JK FROM KISSING HER HOLY SHIT YOU DONT EVEN UNDERSTAND 😭😭😭 THE WAY I STARED INTO SPACE FOR A WHOLE MINUTE WITH WATERY EYES 🥲🥲 her going “not yet” and him being confused asF. SHE WANTED TO BE ABLE TO FINALLY KISS HIM AS JUNGKOOK, HER LOVER, WHEN SHE SUCCEEDED IN REACHING THE FLAME

This is actually a really cool theory! The tree actually represents someone who committed violence against oneself. It's part of Dante's Inferno with my own little twist. Our lil angel just felt grief for the soul 💔

THE TUNNEL and BABY ANGEL: Again, another cool theory! The demon in the tunnel is just a demon tho! It was briefly mentioned on kookies 17th birthday that she was spooked in the woods. I didn't find it necessary to go all into that since it was just a ghost story that was explained in the tunnel :) Basically it was one of Apple's childhood fears that manifested in the tunnel 🥲

As for the two scenes with the angel that looks like Aera, it is her! Sweet baby girl is an angel now 💞😇

4. DEMONS AND THEIR DEMON BUSINESS:

Babe you hit the nail right on the head!!!! Ahhhhh I'm so so glad you mentioned it! I was hoping that came across, we'll get more into it in future chapters as well 😫 as for Jisoo, fuck that bitch. Her poor lil boy tho, hims didn't do nothin wrong 😭 but fair enough!!!

5. LUCIFER:

[speaking of canon characters here] According to my preferences -even if I almost love both of them equally by now- you could fairly expect me to choose Levi, but I would save Hange ! [Disclaimer : me not saying Levi's life is not valuable, don't misinterpret my words, people, please & thank you]

Besides Hange's fighting skills, their brains still have so much to offer to Humanity after war, in terms of progress, knowledge, improvement, technology, based on their scientific experimentation & enthusiastic curiosity. Their kindness & heartwarming sunshine personality would spread positivity & comfort around them as well, helping those close to them cope with their griefs & heal their emotional wounds. [But this would be so cruel, as I imagine they would mourn Levi for years & -secretly- hate me so much for choosing them over him 😭😭😭]

2/ My musical tastes are basically goth (mainly old school lmao) & metal since I was 12 yo. As far as metal is concerned, I used to listen to Rammstein & Marilyn Manson A .F*CKING .LOT !!

But as I grow older, my interest focuses on Black Metal, especially Satyricon [Dark Medieval Times & Nemesis Divina are my all times fav BM albums] & I recently experienced musical epiphany thanks to @stellar-smth 's advice : I literally fell in love with the Swiss band BORGNE omg I love their music so much !! 3/ Oh my, this one pierces right through my kokoro 💔 I DON'T handle their fate AT ALL, I can't ! The more we get close to March 3rd, the more I get depressed. After reading chapter 132, I cried for 2 full hours at least, I couldn't stop, even after re-realizing they were a fictional character. So when I'll watch the animated scene...

I'd say I'm somewhere in between. The way Hange sacrifices themself of their own free will to save their comrades - & thus humanity- totally fits the character imo. It's no surprise they follow their convictions & beliefs until the very end. Once again, I'll say they are the real hero of the story as they SAVE EVERYBODY ELSE'S ASS for f*ck's sake !!!

On the other hand, I wish they could survive the Rumbling & live a peaceful life with Levi 💚💜😢 So I'm more than often Team Denial & read so so much fics where they're both alive & happy together, I also focus on what happened during the 4 years time lapse in the story [mainly Levihan working together, lovingly taking care of their growing brats together, increasing their bond/love just being together all the time & so on & so forth, Levihan living rent free in my mind 24/7 tbh] Also : Hange is the most underrated character in snk, even more than Levi, & we need a f*cking back story for them please I'm on my knees begging you Isayama 🛐

Oh wow chapter 4 was so intense. My heart was racing!

Satoru mother is such a huge bitch! How did satoru dad manage to still be with her through year is a miracle.

Oh and Naomi at first I thought she was clueless and bit insensitive but now Fuck her I mean royalty Fuck her Kai🤬 make that bitch suffer.

She deserve to be miserable. I hope Satoru fired her and I he break up with her and I seriously hope she is infertile because if she thinking of babying trapped Satoru I know everyone hate him for all the hurt he causes y/n but he still doesn’t deserve to be baby trapped because that absolutely a awful thing to someone and is incredibly fuck up. Having a baby for sole purpose of prevent a break up so your partner doesn’t go back to their old partner is pathetic and imagine being that kid. Imagine learning that your mom had you so your dad couldn’t get back together with your half sister mom and because his mom prefers your mom. Learning you existed because your mom couldn’t handle a break up. Learning that your mom prevents your half sister the chances of her mom and her dad working things out and becoming a whole family again. That would be depressing to learn about and why she doesn’t deserve to be a mother because having a baby doesn’t fix a relationship or change a lover heart and also because no child deserves to going through that ordeal.

The big difference between y/n and Naomi situation is that y/n was a one night still and was not plan and they weren’t in relationship with each other but y/n told Satoru that she was pregnant and give him a choice of what to do with the pregnancy and he decided he wanted her to continue with her pregnancy and they did it while getting to know each other and figuring out how to be a parent for the first time.

And there Naomi situation is she in relationship with Satoru and a GoOD relationship is build on trust and communication with each other and being on the still page! Not by rushing things! She is notice that Satoru is acting different and seems to want to slow down the pace of their relationship and what does she do? She doesn’t confront him on why he acting different so instead she push things to go faster! She talked about wedding and impregnated her! They’ll only been dating for a Year! This speed of their relationship is not normal or healthy!! It incredibly abnormal even more than y/n and Satoru! But they had a good reason (the previous reason I mentioned) for most people wedding and babies talks and plans are like couple that been together for 3/4 years but apparently not her and she doing it because she doesn’t want Satoru to break up with her even if what he wants because not a part of her plan. She wants him even when he doesn’t want her but wants y/n instead of her.

In conclusion Naomi is a red flag. Baby trapping is incredibly bad and terrible ideal. Satoru need to dump her ass quickly and need to go no contact with his toxic mother, Mrs Gojo is a terrible person. Yui and y/n deserve to be safe and happy.

And with DWM, the next short is gonna be so sad! It’s the reader’s first day of high school. They finally get to see each other again after two years. They both go in so hopeful and optimistic, but nothing goes the way they want it to. It’s kinda tragic.

And, yes, I do still plan on writing the Vecna Lives series. I just haven’t decided how I want to approach it. I know it’s going to be multi-part, but I haven’t decided how much of Season 4 I want to cover. I have an awesome opening, a heartbreaking ending, but I’m still working on the middle.

I really thought this book was going to be my least liked, but oh my god did it prove me wrong!

It's a bit slow in the beginning, picked up a little after 300 pages, and made me fall absolutely in love. Not only did Stella become my favorite girl of the series, but Christian is warring with Rhys for that number one spot too.

This book has the perfect balance of mystery, romance, and angst. It kept me guessing up until the last few chapters and even solved the mystery of that ugly painting from book one lol.

I was so so so so so so excited to read poyt part 4 and I was so hype and so happy and I literally felt my heart skip a beat when I saw that you had posted it and have spent the last half hour freaking out about it. Your writing is genuinely so incredible oh my god…….. and you have no idea what it did to my heart to see omega finally stand up for herself and for Steve to finally realize how much he fucked up. THE FACT THAT HE SAID I LOVE YOU???????? THAT HE FINALLY SAID THAT????? THAT HE FINALY ADMITTED THAT HE CANNOT BRING HIMSELF TO NOT CARE ABOUT HER?????? He still was a little bit fucking crazy with the accusing her of sleeping with sam like hello dude I think it’s clear she would never treat you the way you treated her. I physically felt the pain in my chest when omega genuinely believed that everyone hated her and started asking Steve why everyone always leaves. It just broke my heart bc it finally made Steve realize that all of his efforts to break her down actually worked. AND THAT CLIFFHANGER??!!?!?!?!?!?!??!?! Good god do you know how to write a fantastic story that always leaves me wanting more. I just wanted to commend you on your genuinely prolific writing. Smut is absolutely amazing, but I think what you’ve done, tying in these complex and emotional arcs adds so many layers to it that it reads like one’s favorite novel. You have done such an unimaginably good job taking us inside the tangles inside of omega’s mind, how so much of her past and deep feelings of inadequacy inform her present and her future, and how one reacts when pushed to the breaking point. Except it turns out that (surprise, surprise) he took it too far and actually, he’s not happy with what HE’S done to her. Made her feel inadequate, insecure and broken💔 As for omega, this was a long time coming. You can only push someone so far before they reach breaking point.

Just finished re-reading our time chapter 1, and by god, am I impressed.

Like, all the little hints? It must’ve taken so long to plan ahead and decide which hints to drop when and where 😭✋🏻

I’ll talk about what I remember happening in this chapter (my memory sucks </3) and what I think it was a hint for. Lmk if I’m incorrect or on the right path? Hope it makes some sense 😭🫶🏻:

THE COUCH STAIN. I assume this was a stain Haru made, and that’s why JK was so sad about it, which is just, ouchies. Also, if I remember correctly, the guest bedroom used to be/ was Haru’s, so it also makes sense why Jungkook didn’t want to sleep in there.

THE AFFECTION. Jungkook cupping OC’s face while apologizing for turning on the lights? Fucking heartache inducing frfr. Beautifully written ugh. Plus, during the movie night, I’m sure he usually gets cuddly when tipsy, but since he’s also used to it (or was used to it 💔), I think that’s also why he was being more touchy than usual.

THE TENSION. Obviously, the tension between Kook and Misu was one of the few things that got fully explained, and damn does it make so much more sense.

SOMEWHERE TO BE, THINGS TO DO. Jungkook’s errands here are obviously meeting up with Jimin and doing whatever it is they’re still doing. (The case?)

MOVIE NIGHT. So, it said that they watched three movies but Jungkook was already on his fourth glass of wine. Which, knowing what we know (i.e. the likelihood of Jungkook being a recovering(?) alcoholic are pretty high), makes sense. It’s a tiny little detail, but makes more sense later. Plus, it adds to the ouchies. Also, Y/N mentioned Misu stating that the real reason she broke up with Jungkook was because “he was better as a friend”. I assume this is another nod towards his (possible) alcoholic tendencies. It also makes sense why Misu wouldn’t air it out to anyone, especially Y/N.

That’s all I really remember from this chapter, but I hope it’s (almost) everything!

1. the couch stain!!! yup, haru was the one who spilled hot chocolate on the couch and jk got sad that yn has no idea. the entire line “you see a stain, he sees a story” is hint for how much deeper it was for him

2. oh yeah not showing affection is hard of course but he’s especially uhhhhhhh “deprived” because in truth, he hasn’t touched her in quite some time so it makes it all harder. especially bc he doesn’t feel like he deserves to touch her no matter how badly he wants to 🙃

3. the tension between misuk and jk probably won’t get better 🥲

4. i can confirm his busy schedule when he’s not with yn has mostly to do with jimin, yes

5. i won’t give a direct answer to this because his alcoholism will be discussed more in future chapters…how it started, why etc etc

Part 24 of TT is my new fav of this book....it was so heartbreakingly bittersweet that it rivals Randy's almost death for me. The beginning had my heart literally ACHING, it felt like my heart dropped to my stomach once I realized Y/n was gonna have to watch Mark die. My eyes were BURNING, I could feel this heat behind them, and I had the urge to cry for them 😭 Y/n watching the pics burn and being like 'you watched not only the pictures burn, but what could've been burn with them' had me DONE 💔 she feels like she lost everything bc Mark was supposed to put Billy and Stu in prison. Randy saw that they could've been something and that's SO SAD 😭 Billy and Stu gotta be jumping for joy knowing he's dead 🙄

I thought it was touching how Y/n tried to see some humanity in Neil. She really held his hand and told him that if she could go back in time she would. I predicted Angelina coming back, but I was NOT expecting Y/n to lose it and I LOVED it. Hope Billy and Stu took that as a threat 😌 Not sure if it was intentional, but I love that Y/n didn't let herself cry until Billy and Stu ran out. I thought that symbolized how she refuses to cry in front of them, how she only lets Dewey and Randy see her at her lowest. Not surprised Stu was like you need me after Y/n told them she never wanted to see them again.... like no bro, I'm not joking, the only thing I NEED is you OUTTA MY LIFE. But ofc, these snakes slither themselves back into my life a week later 🔪

HOW DID THEY GET PAST MY SECURITY SYSTEM-We should've just MOVED 😭

OMG THANK YOU!! I sat on that chapter for too long bc it was so plot heavy with angst and I was lowkey scared I wouldn't do it justice + hated killing Mark ☹️

Ik for me irl if I was in YN shoes I'd be done too. Mark really was her first taste of a good guy that she actually relates to/ that has baggage of his own unlike Derek. The fact he was so willing to help her and beileved her and trusted her on Billy and Stu something Idk if even Dewey or Randy would do w/o anger....Just to have him ripped away? HURTS. Her freedom from those two, her name cleared, peacefully able to relax in life w/o threats is all gone forever.

Having a man slightly older, not by much (Mark's like 26-30 and we're 23 since I upped it to 5 years since Woodsboro instead of 4), but he's older than our group just enough to be 100 x more mature than Billy and Stu ever could be with his own career dealing with things very connected to our lives. Him trying to be the good guy in horrible situations just like YN did multiple times before and being so protective and brave and gentle with her and trying to help her sm....I WOULD JUST SWEAR OFF OF ANYONE ROMANTICALLY AND BE DONE WITH LIFE FR. It's no wonder Billy and Stu were so threatened by Mark bc he really was their only competition that could have not only took us from them permanently BUT sent them to prison to boot. Not that her and Randy couldn't have been great or that Derek wasn't sweet but Mark will probably always be the big 'What if?' for the rest of her life. 💔 He really was a soulmate / kindred soul she had the bittersweetness of meeting.

And oh yeah....They're fucking elated the pieces of shit 🙄🥱

And the security system is from the early 2000s it runs by a landline so no electricity = no system.

loverboy/Gordon b./leading light/whateva u wanna call him:3,,, idk if u could tell by the recent sketches I’ve been doing but I’m def a fan,,, all of his designs r incredible and the character overall has been super interesting 2 see develop, esp in Ep2.,,, like. Out of all the Gordons, I rlly did NOT expect LB to be the most genuinely villainous,,,,,!! + the thing that was said abt how he took advantage of Benrey similarly to how he tried to and like,.. completely flipped everything from Y2KVR around tonally was super neat,,, he is #1 lovecore in myheart 💔

Probably Doc!! I feel p similar abt LB to Doc,,, I ended up being rlly invested in his backstory and how his character was developing, and his dynamic w/ sleepless n the others was so fun,,,, :33 also love all his designs sm ,,, including the other characters in his AU, they were great :]] will b drawinf him next !!i prommy!!

Hjonesslty,,, prob Malcom & Player,,,,being from something I had never read I was worried I’d like,, not “get” the character,,, but I found them both super interesting!! The overall concept of the AU was so silly but also rlly compelling,,,and the ultimate outcome of their arcs iguess was cool2 me :] Kittle’s redemption and Player’s complete shift in Ep2 were both great :]

Freeman,,,! I initially figured his character wouldn’t change very much and would mostly just serve as liek,,, a foil to all the absurd characters rhat surrounded him, but I was pleasantly surprised and Very excited to see that he had a lot more to him!!!! :D and was rlly prominent in the story !!!!! Esp him in Ep2!!!!!!!!!!! iwanna write more sobad but I keep getting distracted sndliie I may need to skim thru everything again as a refresher,, ihave So many thoughts ,,,,cant form them 💔

Swap is all that’s left!!! It wss so hard for me to put them at 5 becos I rlly like them but I had nochoic e ,,, swap AUs r always so iconic burlike,,, unlike most others from other fandoms, this roleswap AU introduced lots of unique elements to the stories and characters that it became way more than just “what if this character had the opposite outfit and personality!” Which I REALLY appreciate and enjoyed a lot in the story,, esp when it came to Swap themself!!!! Like!!! Aaagh!!! Them being an alien from Xen!!!! Is so cool{!!! I’ll def have to read the original fic eventually becos it seems rlly good,,, anyways!! I loved their relationship w/ Neo (and Neo in general!! All the “normal human/player” characters were so silly ilovethrm) aaaaaa
