I am AGGRESSIVELY rattling at the bars of my cage, RTD, PLEASE. I COULD WATCH AN ENTIRE SEASON OF JUST 14 AND DONNA HAVING AN UNINTERRUPTED CONVERSATION ABOUT STUFF. In like a NORMAL context like a fucking bar or a coffee shop or in Donna's living room. DoctorDonna IKEA trip. I don't give a FUCK just let me watch these two communicate and talk and hug and gossip and shit forever I DO NOT CARE
Overall I do think things would've gone significantly better for Martha if Donna had accepted the first offer she got from The Doctor and been in season 3. Donna would absolutely be the Number One member of the Martha defense club and would've constantly been like "SHE'S SO FUCKING COOL AND BRILLIANT AND SMART AND BEAUTIFUL AND IF YOU DON'T CHEER AND CLAP FOR HER I'M BLOWING UP THIS BUILDING" like Donna IS her living breathing hypeman. Also I think Donna would've killed the master so that whole year that wasn't? Never happened.
That being said. Rip to Martha Jones because I think she would've had a disaster bisexual moment where on either side of her is an incredibly attractive person that is ruthlessly teasing her for her crush on the other. Neither of them have figured out she has a crush on them. She is not subtle about it.
of ten’s companions, if the doctor couldn’t handle losing them and crossed his own timeline to trick them into traveling with future!him instead of past!him so that he’d have a little more time with them:
rose would do it. first because bless her but she has the situational awareness of a rock, and legitimately would not realize this isn’t her doctor until his facade starts to break down and he starts bleeding grief-laced love for her at every turn. but once she does realize it, she’s both deeply sympathetic and a little scared that she could make him into this. it’s a lot to be confronted with having that much power over someone, to break them so thoroughly. rose would try to get back to her doctor, but while she’s with the future version, she tries to do what she can to ease his pain. (she also tries to figure out a way to subvert her fate. she fails.)
i think martha would be harder to trick. she can smell desperation on the doctor like a bloodhound. she is so tapped into the fact that this man wants to off himself so bad and that she’s 90% of his self-restraint, so present her with a doctor who is lacking that and she’s onto him immediately. however, assuming he gets her to come with him, explains why he’s doing this, there’s like. a minute where she’s kind of. not flattered exactly, but surprised, giddy with the realization that he’d come back for a little more time with her, especially if this is early season 3 martha. which would all come crashing down around the time that he reveals that he wasn’t pushed to this by losing her to some tragedy or her death or anything- but that she chose to leave. that is the point at which martha goes ‘oh i need to get the fuck off of this tardis right now’ and ghosts the past!doctor that she was also traveling with because holy shit, man.
donna, like rose, is easily bamboozled into following the wrong doctor home, provided that he shuffles her along into his tardis too fast for her to argue. but she catches on far quicker than rose does. like, three minutes tops of watching the doctor move through the tardis in a way that’s definitely not enthusiastic piloting and looks more like guilty panic. and then she yells at him for lying to her. and she yells at him for kidnapping her. and then she stops yelling because he’s gone sort of still and quiet and his eyes are just broken. and he doesn’t explain himself, he confesses. donna is going to try to stay with him after this btw. because how do you go back to looking your best friend in the eyes when you know he’d take everything you’ve become away from you, even to save your life? and this is still the doctor, he still did that to her, but he regrets it. regrets it so much that he can’t live with it, he’s breaking time and space just to hear her say his name again. and donna doesn’t want to lose him anymore than he wanted to lose her.
I love Dickkory, don't get me wrong, but Donnakory's relationship wasn't explored enough. Starfire's emotions are too much for any human to understand, and despite the fact that her joy/rage/love/etcetera gives her power, she has to check herself and make sure she's not being too much or feeling too much because no one around her understands that–but thats not true because Donna completely understands how that feels because she! is! an! Amazon!!!! She has an insane devotion to her sisters on the Island that outsiders couldnt even begin to understand, I think that the only ones who came close were the Titans...
I love them but I also think this ship is very silly because Donna and Dick were the wonder twins (no, not those wonder twins, the other ones)!! They had a profound bond that kids don't usually form except for when they fall in love? But through it all, they were NEVER romantic. Kori getting with Donna would give her major dejavu, but Donna has her sisters to support her and keep her steady...whereas Dick had.....the bats....😬 dating Donna would probably be a breath of fresh air in that sense (although Dick and Kory had a VERY healthy relationship until writers fucked it up for fun)
I love Donna Troy, she's so...she's like an eldest sister who you are very close with and whom you love dearly but she's sort of untouchable because all her life she has presented herself with a maturity that makes you feel small and naive- this makes her being twin brother-in-arms with Dick Grayson feel more like an eldest sister who seems untouchable all your life because he was a childhood prodigy who gave you brief glances of something deeper within him that he was always hiding (him being secretly very fucked up and bipolar) but who kept up the untouchable golden child act fairly well

I know everyone is always like 'oh we wanna know what henry said to camilla' this and that, i mean, so do i but this intrigues me way more 💀 though i admit, i am very biased
I'm just thinking what Henry could have said here,
Especially considering what Bunny had said before, and what Henry had reacted with.
So, let's break it down a sec.
Bunny throws things off the desk, he's yelling- Henry doesn't react suddenly. What makes him react is when Bunny threatens to tell Julian.
From the dialogue, it can be inferred that Henry made to grab for Bunny to try and shush or intimidate him. As we can see, Bunny yells at him to stop touching him and to get away.
So it can also be inferred that Henry was responding to the Julian threat. And also that maybe he threatened Bunny, maybe with physical violence or maybe with a bigger threat. (Remember how Bunny was sure Henry was going to kill him?)
(he had no reason to really suspect this as everyone was acting more or less normal with him, or catering to his demands. Bunny was naive, we all know that, in his naivety he would have assumed he would have that hold over them their entire lives, I don't think he really would have expected them to murder him (again, he's too naive despite his bitchiness) but he suspected this for sure, I'm sure it's because of something Henry had said or done to him.)
But yeah I really want to write the scene in Henry's bedroom, I imagine Henry told him to "Shut up" first, when he grabbed him, and when Bunny yelled louder, he might have hissed out a threat.
"Keep your mouth shut or else I'll shut it for you," or a generic violent threat ("You'll regret that," or maybe even straight up "i will fucking kill you bitch"), to which Bunny could've responded "Go ahead! Try and stop me! I'm not afraid of you" to. See, that 'I'm not afraid of you' makes me think it was indeed a threat. Henry wasn't simply telling him to shut up, he was telling him to shut up or else.
that "are we friends in every universe" thing from tiktok but with all the complicated forms my platonic love manifests for people that i dont have a name for
God the argument between The Doctor and Donna and the strain between them that they're both trying to simultaneously ignore and work through and the tension of feeling like they know each other better than anyone else but also not at all anymore..the anger the awkwardness the hesitancy ALL OF IT IS GRIEF!! IT'S ALL GRIEF! It's the grief of having to live separate lives it's the grief over how long they've both been hurting it's grief for a world where they wouldn't have to tell each other about everything because they were sharing the experiences
