Bullshit. You can withdrawal funds from GoFundMe at any point. The only part that takes a little time is getting your bank account verified, but even that usually goes more quickly than the 3-7 days GoFundMe estimates. I think our account got verified within 24 hours, actually.

Secondly, GoFundMe does NOT have fees on the requester's end. They take fees out of the donations coming in, not on the money going out. What GoFundMe shows as the donated amount on the little bar is the ACTUAL money in the campaign, which takes fees into account.

Lastly, why you wouldn't go with Youcaring when trying to raise funds because they take ZERO fees, I don't know. Maybe scammers don't know about that. Doesn't mean it won't be just as easy to spot the scam. Just a head's up if anyone needs it.
