I genuinely cannot describe how deeply DEVASTATED I am about riz being the only one who can take stress tokens for the others. Yes fig is a protector and will fight endlessly for her friends and I love that about her but there is something about the way riz loves his friends. It’s a more subtle kind of love, but just as relentless and passionate and he will take any burden for the people he cares about and bear the weight of it on his shoulders so they don’t have to deal with it without any hesitation. I am ILL.

Ppl saying the bad kids attacking the ratgrinders with as much vitriol and anger as they are doesn't make sense and like... One, have you met teenagers but also there is literal rage in the air and the ground and a god of rage is coming through the ground like... Idk if this is intentional on the intrepid heroes part (they're certainly clever enough roleplayers for it to be) but it absolutely makes sense for the literal rage particles in the air to affect them, as we've been seeing it affect people all throughout the season

thinking over the episode again and imo there were really only 2 things that I would consider proper “mistakes” that weren’t in character emotional decisions (gerard telling things to elody) or unable to be helped (shitty shitty rolls)

1. trying to split up the party members to go talk to princesses for no clear reason, and not talking to Mira first

2. trying to put cinderella in the book (which admittedly almost worked, but crossed a combat line I didn’t think needed to be crossed. giving her the book could have been a much needed show of good faith)

I think both of those are pretty self explanatory, and were probably just because pcs were frazzled and overwhelmed by how powerful the princesses were and how fast they realized they were at the mercy of some magical nihilists. as much as I understand why people want to criticize the ih, they most likely didn’t have a week to digest the plans they just learned about. I also think that murph, as a usual rock of the party, was so off kilter with elody that his frenzy to see her bled over into everyone else freaking out and talking to princesses
