Sometimes we look at the moon together. She holds me from behind and i feel her warmth on my back as i gaze into the soft orb that illuminates the sky. Her soft touch as she rests her chin on the top of my head, and I settle into her grasp and we stand for who knows how long. The stars glimmer and I occasionally feel as if one would implode if we were to detatch from one another.

She has kissed me under the moon many a time, so much so that when we happen to be apart and i look into the heavens, i may taste her upon my own lips. Smell her in my memories and hear her voice as if she were with me.

She told me once that the moon reminded her of myself. I sighed happily andsettled in to cuddle her for hours. The moon will always hold a piece of me, and now it will always hold a piece of us, as one. I wonder often how many couples have deemed the moon their holder, their legacy, as they pass on. Does one singular love live in the moon, reincarnated every lifetime with a new pairing? The world seems so small when she holds me, and we watch the moon together.

to me it makes perfect sense that when buck comes out to him, eddie doesn’t hesitate for a moment to be supportive. because he loves buck (to the core). so of course he’s gonna be supportive and he’s gonna make sure buck knows that everything is ok.

eddie is a little overwhelmed, he’s taking in a lot of information. he just learned something very important and unexpected about buck and that’s already enough to have him stop and think “oh, really?”. but buck didn’t go on a date with just some guy, did he? he went out with someone who he was also getting close to, and he had no idea. and let’s not forget that eddie was already going through a crisis of his own, which made buck’s confession hit even harder.

out of all these emotions, he choses to focus on the most important one: making sure buck feels safe and loved. accepted. and so he reassures him, he jokes around as he always does and then hugs him. that’s exactly what buck needs and so that’s what he does.

but what happens after that? what happens when eddie actually takes a moment to sit with this information? is he gonna start rethinking his relationship with buck (or even his interactions with tommy)? is he gonna realise that what he and buck have isn’t just a normal friendship? is he gonna wonder if he never saw buck that way because he didn’t think (or he didn’t know) he was an option? what then?

that’s what i wanna know.

honestly it’s such a generic trope but i do genuinely love the concept of rose and kanaya flirting a lot with each other prior to dating, but never picking up on each others advances. both as an expansion of their pre-meteor/act 5 dynamic (lots of banter, slight mental warfare, two girls trying to see how long it takes the other to pick up what they’re putting down, flighty broads and their snarky horseshit, yadda yadda) and in the context of their miscommunication on their first date.

rose leaning on kanaya’s shoulder as she reads over a book about quadrants, and rose tells her that’s sooo interesting, she wonders if humans can engage in this stuff, and kanaya shuts her down with a vague Im Sure You Will Find Out Someday. kanaya making rose dozens of outfits, all lovingly designed, adjusting rose’s outfit when she puts it on and telling her that she wishes she could dress her like this all of the time, she’s never had a model quite like her, and rose is just like Well of course, if you ever have anything you’d like me to wear you’re welcome to invite me over. both of them die over these encounters later

something about rose and kanaya being confident enough to flirt w each other but too stupid to fully pick up on the Implications. always trying to tip the scale in their favor to force the others hand, never quite having the strength to outright admit that they like each other (until rose is shitfaced and stumbling). i think it’s a fun means to escalate their early banter as they become more acclimated to each other and develop Feelings.
