i know it's memed a lot and outside of that a lot more eloquent people than i have discussed it, but it really is fucked up how so many things are seen as inherently bad when it's chinese
A report just came out from a Palestinian hostage saying he was strapped with bombs and sent into a Hamas tunnel, with Israel prepared to blow the tunnel up with his body if fighters were found inside and yet people are still making the “Hamas uses human shields” arguments that have been confirmed to be a myth with no supporting evidence
Being a demolitions expert, Soap MacTavish has to be very good at math.
Which means he knows the exact mathematical equations for perfectly banging his cock into your pussy and this makes absolutely no sense but it made me laugh and I'm too tired to think or care otherwise.
French TV journalist having a hard time trying to get woman in the street to comment on Macron's latest speech yesterday
Protesters organised casserolades (aka banging on pots and pans) in front of city halls across the country at 8pm, when Macron was speaking, to symbolically drown out his voice. Later that evening, Macron was filmed singing a song with some 'random people' in a street in Paris, trying to show he can go out and meet people and have fun because protesters don't exist. The people he was singing with (members of a choir, some of whom are 'alt-right-leaning') were using a folk song app created by far-right activists that was criticised a few months ago for hosting a Spanish fascist anthem & Third Reich military marches.
The government's response was that the President "couldn't know the background of the people he met that night." Maybe if he wants to avoid being associated with the far-right (that's a big if, I know), Macron should keep in mind that with the kinds of strategies and positioning his government has adopted lately, people in the street who welcome him with open arms and are proud to be filmed with him have a higher than average likelihood of supporting fascism.
Can I ask you something? On the last night of our first stayover, why did you ask to look into my eyes? I wanted to know if I was blushing because of you. Were you? No. No doubt. I was blushing to death then. How about now? Am I making you blush?
The whole premise of 'all men are created equal' has never meant all men. The foundational language has been a joke for 250 years.
What they meant: All men are divided into groups with different standards for each. Racist men get unlimited double standards. Women are excluded. People of color do not even exist.
"When I said I felt bad, I meant it. I don’t want to trouble you. Trouble? There’s no trouble at all. Back then all I could do was support you anonymously. This year, I get to cheer for you this close. What could be better?"
A mother's word for word transcription of the imaginary phone call her four-year-old made to Santa Claus in 1911.
(source: The Harbor Beach Times, December 22, 1911.)
Through some outrageous case of serendipity I found a recording of another phone call this same child made 60 years later. Though I have to say his choice of conversational partner is a definite downgrade from the first call.
