my fav ships of Steven Universe (rareshipper)

for people who dont know whats a rareship: is a ship of characters that dont talk to much or they dont know each other, but they are from the same universe or same history.

So i will be sharing my favorites from Steven Universe ^^

Pearl x Volleyball ( pink pearl )

I just think they look really cute, also i loved that they had a whole episode in Steven Universe future where they were together and also fused!! ( wich it has a really cool design at least for me ) I like to call this ship " Strawberry & Cream " because it reminds me of them xD and also because they are so sweet ^^ Im sure that Volleyball wants to be a ballerina or something and Pearl helps her with anything she can.

Idk, i just see Volleyball like the artist of the relationship -w-

Padparadscha x Leggy ( ruby )

( drawing by slimgems ) Is like, they look perfect together, and there was a comic where they tell new orders to Leggy, and she get really nervous, and then Padparadscha tell her: " my dear friend, you´re about to get overwhelmed by instructions! may I relay them to you for clarification? "

and i really loved that!! Padparadscha is really helpfull when is about feelings, and Leggy seems to get really nervous or doesnt really know what is happening, and i think Padparadscha really helped her a lot of times. There´s also some drawings of how could be they´re fusion and they look so awesome!!

i thought they could look good together, even also with Leggy, i could try to make a fan fusion of them 3 one day -w- I thought a one-shot where they asign Carnelian as one of the protectors of Padparadscha, and with the time they started to get along and having fun, even trying to fuse ( i also made a fan fusion of them 2 ;3 i will post it later )

Fusion

Leggy: So, Rose, you're saying that Padparadscha and I could fuse with no consequences?

Steven: It's Steven, Leggy. And yeah! Garnet's fused all the time!

Leggy: Right, Steven. But...how do I fuse with a gem that isn't a Ruby? I always just got stacked on with the squad.

Steven: Oh, well when you wanna fuse with someone, you dance with them.

Leggy:...Dance?

Steven: Oh, um...Garnet! Can you show Leggy how to fuse?

Garnet: No problem.

-Garnet unfuses into Ruby and Sapphire-

Ruby: I'll show ya how it's done, fellow Ruby!

Leggy: Nice to meet you!

Sapphire: You've met before. I went by "Sophie" and Ruby pretended to be part of your squad, remember?

Leggy: Oh, that was when we played "baseball"! What fun!

Ruby: Focus, soldier!

Leggy(salutes): Sorry, Ruby!

Sapphire: Now, watch closely.

-Ruby and Sapphire dance and refuse-

Garnet: And that's how it's done. Got it, Ruby?

Leggy: I...I think. But you have that song to dance to. I need something like that, too, right?

Steven: That's a good point, Leggy. Dancing works better when you've got rhythm.

Padparadscha(coming out of nowhere): I predict that Ruby and Sapphire will have the most wonderful dance!

Leggy: P-Padparadscha! I was just...um...

Steven: Hey Padparadscha! Leggy over here was just gonna ask to fuse with you? Isn't that right, Leggy!

Leggy: Erm...yeah! What Rose-

Steven: Steven.

Leggy: Steven said!

Padparadscha(silent for a bit then speaks): Why of course, Leggy! What are we waiting for?!

-Leggy and Padparadscha start to dance while Steven plays ukelele. The 2 fall over, revealing Padparadscha's single eye. The two look at each other and blush. Leggy begins to laugh, and then Padparadscha begins to laugh. Light glows from their Gems as they fuse into Malaya Garnet-

Steven(starry-eyed): Ohhhhhhh myyyyyy gooooooosssshhh!!!

Malaya: Huh? What's so exciting?

-Malaya looks at herself-

Malaya(Padparadscha): Leggy? Oh Leggy? Where did you go?

Malaya(Leggy): I didn't leave, Padparadscha, I'm right...here?

Steven: You did it!

Malaya: Did what?

Steven: You fused!

Malaya: Really?

-Moves hand to see Padparadscha's gem and moves leg to see Leggy's gem-

Malaya: What do you know. I did!

-Garnet walks up to Malaya, smiling-

Malaya: Wow Garnet, you got smaller.

Steven: No, you grew bigger.

Malaya: Oh, yeah.

Garnet: I'm so proud of you!

Malaya(clueless):...For what?

Garnet: For fusing.

Malaya: Oh. Right!

-After 5 minutes of walking around-

Malaya: GARNET, GARNET, GARNET! I FUSED!

Padparadscha and Leggy

Okay so, I was googling Padparadscha and found some Leggy X Padparadscha stuff and fell in love with it, I mean, come on.

Imagine the dynamic for a moment, okay? Like, Padparadscha is, not very careful. She can’t help it, but it’s the truth. Now imagine Leggy decides to protect her, and now has to overcome her own fears to protect Padparadscha .

I’m sorry I’m just a sucker for things like this, I couldn’t resist.

Realistically they shouldn’t be blushing but I just wanted to mess around with blush.

By far the weirdest ship I have is Yellow Pearl x Bismuth. It came out of nowhere but I love it so much

XD Nice. I’d say the weirdest ship I’ve ever concocted was probably Padparadscha and Leggy, just cause CONFUSED GARNET.

The ruby seemed nice, if Paddie was any judge of such things; though really, she didn’t have very high standards when it came to that. Until she’d fallen in with her fellow off-colours, the would-be seer had known precious few gems who would be kind to a defect such as her; so even just being friendly went a long way with Padparadscha.

Whether Leggy would think the same of her when she learned that her companion was defective? Well, the seer could predict it just yet. No doubt it would become clear to her what to ‘expect’ in time.

“You may call me Padparadscha; or even, Paddie. It is, what the humans call, a ‘nickname’.”

It was still a new concept that Steven had introduced her to, but one that Paddie had been very taken with. The ruby, it seemed, must have been similarly so; Leggy was not a Homeworld name, after all.

“You must have encountered a human, too?”

“Err, dance?” This was a fairly new concept to Leggy. She usually had other Rubies stack on top of her in order to fuse while in combat. But, an ‘ultimate connection between gems’... She was never informed on that. Does that mean she and her Ruby teammates have a connection with her other than just working with each other? Maybe. With uncertainty, she lightly took Padparadscha’s hand, bracing herself for whatever else was going to happen afterward.
