Flug and Goldheart grew up together as neighbors. I'm still playing with the idea but I can see Flugs older brother also being a scientist and was the one who gave Goldheart his power's. Which pissed Flug off even more because he created the original formula and his brother took credit for it.

Goldheart is one of the few people who has ever seen Flug without his bag. Goldheart thinks he looks adorable, even with his scars Flug glares at him.

Flug bakes, not a lot but he has a sweet tooth and it's a good way to destress.

After Sunblast comes back into the hero life and openly dates Penumbra, he and Goldheart have a heart to heart. They also become super close.

Dumb AU that I sometimes think about where Goldheart snaps and becomes a villain:

Goldheart joins BlackHats organization and in BlackHat fashion, forces Flug to be his partner. It takes three months of bickering for them to hook up, Dementcia owe Penumbra 5 bucks.

Goldheart often comes up with plans to overthrow BlackHat, Flug stops him knowing they wouldn't work.

Goldheart gets very territorial when any hero tries to get close. Same with Flug

Miss Heed actually used Goldhearts 'betrayal' as away to come back into the lime light and repair her reputation.

Goldheart is a huge flirt to Flug. Flug thinks he's trying to pick a fight, Dementcia enjoys the free show.

Seriously, while she abandoned Flug and stole his formula to impress Goldheart, she still holds a torch for him as seen in the episode where she kissed him on the lips. It makes me think she like Mordecai would still have unresolved lingering feelings for the guy and she so would do something like Mordecai did at Muscleman’s wedding making an important event for someone else all about airing her own messy feelings while making the person she is going out with feel like shit and the other person she’s crushing on embarrassed. Although unlike Margret, Goldheart would have no feelings towards her and just hang his head just wanting her to shut up. And Flug of course would just get his heartbroken and probably even more want to cut ties with her due to how of a flip flopper she is.

This takes place after the TV scene with Goldheart in episode 6. Letz go, Yandere Goldheart agenda.

And all the years that went by of trying to find him. All those years of contemplating if he did the right thing. He loved the glory, fame, and fortune he received, but in the back of his head, he knew. He knew nothing would ever replace the happiness that he had felt with him. He just felt empty sitting down in an enormous apartment all alone. Nobody would ever truly understand him other than that person. But it's futile to look for him anymore, for all he knows he could have been already dead. Until he saw the news in his large flat screen TV. He was kissing one of his "members." He sighed, it looks like someone had made his plan come to a halt. 'Flugslys, what are you doing? Haven't I hurt you enough in the past? Why are you back here again?', his mind questions, but then again, he would be lying if he didn't feel at least a bit happy to know he was alive. As well as a pang of jealousy with him kissing someone else other than him.

Their relationship was.... complicated. From the get-go, they were not meant for each other. It was like they were oil and water. Both were never meant to mix with the other. And yet funnily enough fate made them cross paths for a reason none of them knew. At first, he befriended him out of curiosity and the idea to use him as a stepping stone to his glory. However, he came to love and care that socially akward man. And the way they ended things was not on good note. He can still feel Flug's stare on him. That stare that was filled with nothing but wrath and resentment. And Goldheart knows that he deserved it. Knowing that their relationship was never meant to last. Like spring flowers damned to wilt as winter comes..... but perhaps this time, he can make those flowers permanently stay. He didn't know what was making him think these things. Was it wishful thinking that they can still restore their relationship? Or just his desire to keep Flugslys near him as close as possible? Did he feel that it's his responsibility to fix the doctor as he was the one that broke him in the past? Surely, one of those is the answer to what he was feeling. 'We can't be together like that Herbert....... because you'll betray me.', those were the words that he got when asked Kennings to be his lover. And it was true. He did betray him. "Oh, but don't worry, Kenny.... I'll make sure that fate or whatever is trying to stop us will be bound to die. Because this time..... this time, I'll burn everything to the ground just to keep you with me. I promise you that....", he said as his eyes glowed golden, his hand gripping a picture of Flug's smiling face. He will have his blond haired canary back, whether it be for better or for worse, in sickness and in health, not even death can part them. He will make sure of that.

How would Goldheart react if he found out Flug and Blackhat were dating?

(I'm a multi Flug shipper. So this extremely far fetched headcanon and fanfic love-triangle idea came from the crazy shipper side of my brain. 😂)

I think it would be absolutely hilarious 😂 if GoldHeart tries to rescue Flug but then Flug is like:

"I don't need to be rescued, he's my boyfriend."

First GoldHeart is shocked. But then GoldHeart tries to rescue Flug anyway because BlackHat is evil, so he concludes Flug is being manipulated or mind-controlled so that's why they are dating.

(Also because he is jealous and Flug needs to be redeemed so that they can be together)

Flug insists that he is not being manipulated or mind-controlled, then GoldHeart is like that is what someone who is being manipulated or mind-controlled would say.

Then they fight. GoldHeart tries to rescue Flug, while Flug tries to prevent himself being rescued.

BlackHat doesn't do anything but watch the entertainment because fighting heroes is beneath him and knows Flug can handle fighting his Arch-Nemesis.

Although from time to time BlackHat rubs it in that he and Flug are dating in GoldHeart's face by doing some PDA with Flug and describe their explicit dating life, which makes GoldHeart mald and seeth with jealousy and more determine to end Villainy forever so that he and Flug can be together.

Ok this came to me earlier and hear me out, if you've read my plethora of theories about Villainous, yall know about my Twisted Memories theory (BH has messed w his employees thoughts, bringing out their most negative emotions to keep them distracted ect) aswell as my theory about the Cycle that Flug needs to break out of (nearly all of the people close to him constantly disrespect and ignore his intelligence and achievements) and hear me out, and we know that Flug is still considered Goldheart's Nemesis, this assumes that Goldheart has some sort of respect for Flug's intelligence and inventions, meaning that there's a possibility that Goldheart was one of the few people to ever actually respect him

How do you think Dr Flug and Goldheart first met?

I have two possible idea's actually, the first they grew up together (with Goldheart being friends with Flugs brother or just grew up in the same town) but didn't actually meet until graduation (maybe middle school, since Flug went to Black hats school for villains (I forgot the name) and I don't think they'd celebrate their son becoming a villain) where Flug parents posed with Goldheart instead of him.

The second is that Goldheart was friends with Flugs brother during his hero school days and said brother even gave Goldheart his powers. Even inviting Goldheart to dinner where he was officially introduced to Flug and the two become friends (as Flug was forced to give up his room but Goldheart wanting to leave a good impression said he's sleep in the living room. They compromised/ parents forced Flug to share) It was fine they even swapped numbers (Flug was lowkey forced to by his family) until he learned Flug ran away to join Black Hats school,which caused them to loose contact.

I also imagine they were each other's first rival, as Flugs first major scheme was stopped by Goldheart and the rest was history.
