I took these natural dyeing experiments further this week. When I dyed my wool using pear tree bark, there was plenty of dye left in the pot after the 1st 100g of wool, so I added another 100g. The 2nd one came out only slightly lighter in color.
I was really curious how iron as a post-dye modifier would sadden the color. I made 1% WOF iron acetate and used that to modify the original by soaking the wool for 5 min., then heavily rinsing to remove any remaining iron. I love this new color! 🧶

Every diamond shape is unique and may complement various design aesthetics. There is a diamond shape to suit every taste, from the traditional sparkle of a round cut to the sleek modernity of a princess cut, the feminine allure of a pear cut, and the bold proclamation made by a marquise cut.
