after they return and they’re all in love and gross and forever mates about everything, both of them overcorrect to the point where they’re demonstrating unhinged behavior at totally new levels.

The roadtrip was just so much exposure of vulnerable obi-wan that neither of them actually really want him to leave the apartment again until the baby arrives, save for his appointments and all the times it’s necessary to leave the house. Their instincts hate this though. Anakin especially is inconsolable. Anakin also finds a job that allows him to work fully remote so he can be around Obi-Wan more than he already was.

They’re not going to physically bite/mate until after the baby comes because they’re both worried about obi-wan’s body trying to appease the new alpha by getting rid of the baby (similar theme was in “what’s mine is yours is ours”)

obi-wan tries to wake up early one morning and make them pancakes as a surprise (and to satisfy a craving) and while he‘a making a mess of the kitchen, anakin comes tearing out of the bedroom looking for him because he wasn’t there when he woke up!!!! He was worried!!!

(Obi-Wan eats the pancakes while Anakin glowers at him across the table and refuses to touch his plate because it’s HIS job to make food to satisfy obi-wan’s cravings and also the heart attack he had when he woke to No Obi-Wan really put him off his appetite 😡)

The trope when person A is going through a loss of some kind and grieving, and person B tries to comfort them and empathise with A by saying “I know how you feel” and A just loses it and says something like “how could someone like you ever understand the pain I’m feeling” and B just takes it and apologises.

Then later A finds out that B has suffered through some of the most horrifically traumatising things you could imagine and A just feels like the biggest arsehole in the world.

Bonus points if A tries to apologise and B just brushes it off and acts like it doesn’t matter because ‘A was going through a hard time’ and A is just bashing their head against a wall because they want B to put themself first and get angry for once.

Here's your reminder that straight up trashing on lily evans because you prefer james in a mlm relationship is Not Okay and deeply rooted in misogynity. She is a fictional character whose only action was to protect her son with her life. She did nothing wrong; she just saved her son by loving him. That's literally it. That's all we know about her. That and the description made by remus later in the books: a loving and kind woman. Now if you don't like her character, that's fine, I don't care. I don't necessarily agree with you but I won't come at you either. I think many people in the fandom aren't ready for this conversation, but it has to be said: This fandom is deeply, deeply misogynistic. It has a problem with female characters, not matter the era we're talking about. They are ignored, underestimated, left out in favour of male characters. It's not a mistake or an oversight: it's decision, a choice made by writers and artists to not focus on the girls.

Like, do you know how hard it is to find a fanfiction where a woman is the main character? And it's even worse if she's in a wlw relationship. I don't think i've ever read a 'marylily raising harry' fic, when we have dozens of fics where harry is raised by wolfstar or jegulus. No hate against those, they're great, but come on. Don't tell me you don't see a pattern here. It's the same as everywhere else: people just don't care about the girls. It's exhausting. It's fucking exhausting and I'm sick of seeing the same bullshit over and over again. Like. I am a queer teenage girl. I would like, too, to see myself represented by and in a fandom constituted (mostly) of queer individuals, just like me.
