Rintaro stands in front of you, a collected look paints his eyes. They lack the warmth they once held; instead, it had the same aloofness when he first met you. The person standing before you is not the version of him you fell in love with;

“Hello, I am Rintarobot.” A smile forms on his face, but it’s not the same. He’s not the same. “How can I help you?”

He’s different in the worst way possible.

Unwanted tears gather in the corner of your eyes as they cascade freely like waterfalls. You wipe them haphazardly while he looks at you in confusion. Weeks of development, of change, of love—all down the drain. All you’ve done in those days you had, deleted in a matter of seconds. You had weeks to make him yours; to instill memories and to make him more human, while they had a few seconds just to remove everything.

“Don’t you remember me? It’s me,” you wrap your arms around him, crying into his chest. He stays still, oblivious to what to do. “We talked last night... you said you loved me. Don’t you remember?”

Love shouldn’t expire this quick, right?

But you forgot how fast you got your boyfriend, was also how fast time would run out.

“Please!” This time you cried, hysterically. Bystanders started to look at the two of you, while your tears rained on his shirt. “Please! You can’t forget—you can’t! I want more time, we need more time.” You lean your ear to listen to his heartbeat like what you did a few hours ago, this time, there was none.

He’s here in front of you, but you just want to go back.

He’s here in your arms, but he feels just like a ghost.

He’s here, but you know he’s gone.

Rintaro softly detaches you away from him. Your bleary eyes meet his unfamiliar ones, while he cups your cheeks in his hands. The warmth you feel whenever you’re with him is gone; it was as if it were a fire lit on a candle, hot and bright at first—but it all ends once you have the final blow.

This is the final blow.

“Please, don’t cry.” His words bleed through your ears, “We have all the time to get to know each other!”

“We have all the time now, but that’s what we had before as well.” You shut your eyes forcefully, the truth tasting bitter as you let it all out. “Now look at us. Look at me.”

‘Time is endless’ is a phrase you’d often hear your grandparents preach in the wake of dawn. And that may be true, as there will never be a definite answer to when time starts or ends, but with each memory created within that period; time stretches itself before us. It makes us believe that everything and anything is possible—but it isn’t.

Especially if you've already reached the end.

Time is endless, but love sure does have one.

“I want more time with you. I want more time with the love we created.” You hiccup, wiping your tears with your hand, “Now I don’t, because I lost you.”

Just as love was instantly found, it disappeared so quickly as well.

My Ultimate Reading List v2.0 Blurbs Part 2

A/N: As some of you have heard or seen, My Ultimate Reading List (in it’s original version) has crashed on desktop because of (as I realised trying to restore it) too big number of links, so I’m basically recreating the whole thing in a new format. This post goes for 2nd part of Blurbs. Here’s the 1st. There’s one more post for One Shots and Serieses. I’m really sorry for the tag notifs for the people who has been tagged already in a previous version. Hope it’s not much of an inconvenience. I’m also not going to delete the first version of the list, as it’s been liked and reposted a lot of times, it’s still working on mobile, so some might still use it. But all the updates are going to happen only on these two posts, which I’m going to put in my bio instead of an old one.

So, this list was created because of my crazy urge to reread favourite fics and blurbs from time to time. It was made purely for me, but if it helps you to find a fic or a writer you’d love, I’d be only happy. I tried to make navigation easy. For blurbs links go to my reblogs, for oneshots and full lengths links go to the original posts. I try to check links from time to time, but if you see that some of them don’t work, please, hmu.
