2024 Review - Seagate 2TB Portable Drive (Second Half - Installing and Formatted)
Hey, guys! Sorry for keeping this waited from past weeks that I’m trying to write I got. Nevertheless, it’s time for the second half part of my portable drive topic review without leaving behind. Last time where I’d covered the unboxing portion during the first half, I’m now moving onto to install with my gaming system which I’d did awhile back. Before I can show you around, there’s something I wanted to bring I’d kept secret from past years. I should’ve brought it sooner if I had such time left til now. Nevertheless, it’s for my gaming console itself as a previous upgrade that my family give me.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
(From January. 6th; 2:29 to 2:30 P.M.)
This here’s my actual Xbox One S console (not the Xbox Series S/X, though). It happened back in December. 16th, 2019 that my family give me as a late Christmas gift by surprise. Well, a surprise for me back then from before. There’s also a second gift that would be save for another time. Anyways, It’s been past 6 years later after decided to move on with my Xbox One S system. Its longevity usage runs well of playing games I have; which I’ll get to that for my final part soon. As for what happened to my original Xbox One, the one I got from April 2015; is thankfully kept into my closest that doesn’t have scratches. Don’t worry, I still got everything for my Xbox One S system with its data that was originally carried from my original gaming console.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
(From 2:32 to 2:56 P.M.)
So anyways as I continue on, we’re bringing you this step where I installed with my portable drive and its USB cable. Took about few seconds to connect with both items together, but finally got it of what’s on screen display right after turning my gaming console. As you can see, there’s a front USB slot down left corner below where I’d placed there. It was my second attempt when my gaming console recognize not too long ago. Of course there’s some USB slots on the backside I’d tried to get around minutes before that. I don’t know why or if I would’ve paid attention closely, but the front USB slot is one way to go. Now, I went to options setting to manage storage devices; where you can see I could select on either media and for games with my portable drive. Obviously, I’m here to formatted any games I got. As of now though, it read about 1.8TB instead of 2TB from what the box advertised. It does happens for other hard drives, so that’s alright.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
(From 2:58 to 3:01 P.M.)
Just holding on til I'd promised I can finished off for the final part soon. In the meantime, I've given to formatted my portable drive that didn't take long to complete. I'd given its name of "My Games" first during this recording. Looks good so far as I'm moving to store with one of my games I got. That said, that's gonna be it for this second half part of my portable drive review. I’m sorry that things weren’t according as planned I’d would’ve do more for this month. I’m just having some trouble scheduling while I’m stuck doing at the program for weekday mornings. Even though I would be doing during the weekends by any point, I’d tried my best to write some stuff. Nevertheless, at least I’d gotten with this second half covered; especially finally showing my previous gaming console after years later.
My Overall Thoughts (so far):
As of now, It’s nice to installed with my portable drive and its 3.0 cable to my gaming console in respond. So far, I’d went through formatted with my device before I can move on with my other games to store later. And I just had one game that deserved to start up for my final part soon. Hope you’ll be ready for this. 👍

An ode to the iRiver iHP-120
For whatever reason, I've found myself deeply nostalgic for high school as of late. And for me, that is intractable from nostalgia for what is perhaps the peak mp3 player ever made:
Tumblr media
The iRiver iHP-120 was released in 2003, my sophomore year of high school, and it changed my life. This thing held an astounding 10GB of music—for comparison, most mp3 players at the time were flash based, and held 128 or 256 MB of music. The only big competitor at the time was the 1st generation iPod, a mac-exclusive device that transferred data over firewire and had to be synced using the fledgling iTunes. Juxtapose that to iRiver, who took what I like to call the "we don't give a fuck" approach:
When you plugged in the iHP-120 with USB 2.0, it just showed up as an external hard drive—you could throw whatever you wanted on there. Naturally, it could read mp3 files, but this thing introduced me to the world of audio codecs and processing in a way nothing could have prepared me. WMA files worked fine (a big deal at the time because of DRM issues, during the heyday of KaZaA and Limewire). You want to play uncompressed .WAV files? No problem, put them on there. FLAC files? Absolutely, let your audiophile freak flag fly. Fucking OGG Vorbis files played on this thing. Hell, you could put text files on here and read them.
(The firmware for these was also basically open-source, and people did even crazier stuff with them. By the time I retired my player, it could do gapless playback, crossfading, 10-band equalizing, normalization and more. I think I also changed the boot screen to a picture of Sailor Moon.)
But the magic didn't end at uploading music to the iHP-120—controlling this thing was more intuitive than any other device around at the time. All of your music was displayed on the player in whatever folder structure you loaded onto the device—navigating the music was as simple as using Windows Explorer. You had your standard play/pause, skip forward/back and volume controls on the front joystick, but what are the other buttons for?
Tumblr media
Yeah. This thing was also a portable recorder. At anytime you could just hold down the Rec button and start recording with the onboard mic, or using an external input (more on that later). On the right side, an A-B Interval control. You ever wanted to just listen to one part of a song on repeat to learn the lyrics? Just hold down the button. Lastly a hold switch to disable control inputs while it was in your pocket—no accidentally pausing the music.
Okay, back to the external input mentioned before. The top of the iHP-120 is wild.
Tumblr media
The top I/O panel of the iRiver iHP-120, with 4 jacks.
From right to left, you have a 3.5mm headphone jack (naturally), a 2.5mm microphone jack, the remote control port (more on this in a bit), and in white you have Line In/Out jacks which you could use to record as well as just plug in a second pair of headphones for a friend—jacks which support both 3.5mm analog input, as well as 3.5mm TOSLINK optical cables.
Tumblr media
The TOSLINK 3.5mm male plug. A plug I only ever encountered on this device and the Sound Blaster X-Fi Titanium, a sound card I wrote a review of in 2009 which seems to still be up at PC Gamer and reading it now I don't know how any of my writing was ever published, let alone in print.
Chances are good you've never encountered this, it's phenomenally uncommon, and TOSLINK as a whole largely died with the emergence of HDMI—but this fucking mp3 player could both record and transmit fiber optic audio in uncompressed stereo or lossy 7.1 surround sound. In high school, I would plug the iHP-120 into our home theatre and listened to Porcupine Tree's Stupid Dream on repeat (side tangent, I'm pretty sad 5.1 album recording never really caught on, but the Dolby Atmos music format is better in every way, and I'm grateful Apple is bringing it into the mainstream).
"Okay, so we have an music player/text reader/voice recorder with optical audio, and basically every codec under the sun, what else could you go on about Erika?"
-you, the person reading this
THE REMOTE
Let me take you back to 2003. I was a depressed theatre kid teenager who would listen to Rooney on repeat on my Koss UR40s while crying over a girl who wanted nothing to do with me.
Tumblr media
The Koss UR40 Headphones I wore like a fashion accessory everyday.
The other thing I wore everyday besides those headphones? Baggy cargo pants (it was acceptable at the time, I swear). Inside the right cargo pocket was my iRiver iHP-120, and clipped to the velcro flap of that cargo pocket was the iHP-115R remote control.
Tumblr media
The iHP-120 remote unit
Every function of the iHP-120 could be controlled from this little fucker. Play/pause and stop buttons. Volume, skip track and recording are all here on rocker switches. You could even change the fucking bitrate of playback on this little thing, all without taking the actual mp3 player out of your pocket because the LCD screen on the remote has all the same info you'd get on the main unit.
The remote itself connected to the iRiver with that big plug you can see in the picture above (shamelessly stolen from Nathan Edwards who I worked with at PC Gamer in the late 2000s and only while writing this post discovered has already written a much more professional ode to the beauty of the iHP-120 this year).
You would plug your headphones into the remote, (or in my case you could also plug in your 1988 Chevrolet 2500 suburban's tape deck adaptor and have controls at your fingertips. No more distracted driving).
Tumblr media
An image of a 1988 Chevorlet 2500 diesel Suburban. Not super relevant but god I miss my high school suburban. We would take the rear and middle benches out and put a queen-size mattress in the back, which 9 of my friends would ride on as we went to Little Caesar's for lunch. Also, cars just looked way fucking better back then.
I think I'm about done waxing nostalgic, but I really do miss the days of discrete devices—I kind of find myself fighting back against my smartphone. I have a camera I carry around, a pen and paper planner and writing notebook, and a kindle for reading. There's something appealing about not having my phone be my access to music either—rather, having a device that I just threw my music on and it plays it really well was rad. The iHP-120 was really fucking rad.

Tips to improve your MacBook’s Battery Performance
Tumblr media
MacBooks have become indispensable tools for work, education, and entertainment. One important factor that often gets overlooked in the quest for the perfect MacBook’s battery life. The longevity of your MacBook's battery can significantly impact your productivity and convenience. In this comprehensive guide, we'll explore the importance of battery life and provide practical tips for finding a MacBook that offers optimal longevity.
Understanding the Significance of Battery Life:
- Productivity: Longer battery life means more uninterrupted work sessions, especially when you're on the go or in places without easy access to power outlets.
- Portability: A MacBook with extended battery life enhances portability, allowing you to work or enjoy entertainment without constantly worrying about finding a charging station.
- Cost Efficiency: Investing in a MacBook with a durable battery can save you money in the long run, reducing the need for frequent battery replacements or upgrades.
- Environmental Impact: Choosing a MacBook with a longer battery life contributes to reducing electronic waste by extending the lifespan of your device.
Is your Macbook battery draining quickly or not holding a charge? It may be time for a replacement. Contact Lappy Maker for professional battery replacement services.
 Factors that Affecting Battery Life
- Battery Capacity: The size of the battery plays a significant role in determining how long your MacBook can run on a single charge.
- Hardware Efficiency: Energy-efficient components such as processors, display panels, and storage drives can help conserve battery power.
- Software Optimization: Operating system updates and power management settings can impact battery performance, with some systems offering better optimization for extended battery life.
- Usage Patterns: Your usage habits, such as running multiple applications simultaneously or streaming high-definition videos, can drain the battery more quickly.
Tips for Finding a MacBook with Long Battery Life
 1. Assess Your Needs
- Determine your typical usage scenarios to understand the level of battery life required for your daily activities.
- Consider whether you prioritise performance, portability, or battery life when selecting a MacBook.
 2. Research Battery Specifications
- Look for MacBooks with high-capacity batteries or those equipped with energy-efficient technologies.
- Check manufacturer specifications and reviews to get an idea of real-world battery performance.
 3. Consider Battery Life Ratings
- Pay attention to battery life ratings provided by manufacturers, but keep in mind that actual usage may vary depending on usage conditions.
- Look for MacBooks with battery life that meets or exceeds your specific requirements.
 4. Opt for Energy-Efficient Components
- Choose MacBooks with energy-efficient processors, such as Intel's low-power variants or AMD's Ryzen Mobile processors.
- Select SSD storage instead of traditional hard drives, as SSDs consume less power and contribute to longer battery life.
 5. Evaluate Display Technology
- Consider MacBooks with energy-efficient display panels, such as LED-backlit or OLED screens, which consume less power compared to traditional LCDs.
- Adjust screen brightness and resolution settings to optimise battery usage without compromising visual quality.
 6. Utilise Power-Saving Features
- Take advantage of built-in power-saving features provided by your operating system, such as sleep mode, screen dimming, and power management settings.
- Disable unnecessary background processes and peripherals to conserve battery power when not in use.
 7. Invest in External Battery Packs
- For extended periods away from power outlets, consider purchasing external battery packs or portable chargers to supplement your MacBook's battery life.
- Look for compact and lightweight options that offer sufficient capacity to recharge your MacBook on the go.
Lastly, Battery life is a crucial consideration when choosing a MacBook, as it directly impacts your productivity, portability, and overall user experience. By understanding the factors affecting battery life and following these tips, you can find a MacBook that offers optimal longevity to meet your needs. Whether you're a busy professional, a student, or a casual user, prioritising battery life ensures that your MacBook remains a reliable companion wherever you go.

emily reviews the GG sonic games
over the past few months i beat the GG sonic games with all chaos emeralds. well, here are my thoughts!
Sonic the Hedgehog What a sweet game. Forgiving but satisfyingly challenging, and with a sense of style the others really can't match. in many ways this game's presentation is actually more polished than its 16-bit counterpart. It makes me feel more within the World established by ancillary media in JP of the time than the main game does. The role this game has in the story of its developer, Ancient, also adds to the appeal. I would give this game a smooch.
Sonic the Hedgehog 2 This is such a contrast with 1 that it's a bit of whiplash going in. the art is raw and unpracticed, and the gameplay is aggressive toward you in the way old platformers frequently will be. But after giving in and switching from GG to the MS version (after beating Mecha Antlion once on GG to prove myself), i was able to meet the game where it wanted me to. The challenge became fun, and it was satisfying to make it through to the end. Making the 'special stage' a true final zone with vaporwave stylings based on the 16-bit special stages is an inspired use of limited rom space, and was really fun to play too. they haven't made a zone like Crystal Egg before or since. oh yeah and toot toot sonic warrior originated here - what a landmark tune for this game to have to its name. scrappy game altogether, but in a way where you're happy to see it succeed :)
Sonic and Tails ('chaos') Feels like Aspect is trying to establish their own voice as a sonic dev here. The portable and motobug springs are smart ideas that lend themselves to new puzzle structures, and the rocket shoes are just kind of silly. The experimental special stages are interesting, but it was definitely a miss that when you unlock one, it takes you out of an act without the opportunity to go back and finish it later. The premise that Eggman has an emerald and that's why you only need to get 5 is funny, but I respect it as a way for them to rebalance the challenge in a way they were happy with, without sacrificing the established lore that there must be 6 altogether. Aqua Planet feels weirdly prescient of Hydrocity. Electric Egg feels like someone wasn't finished with Scrambled Egg from the last game, and needed another attempt. I enjoy the tube puzzles so that's fine.
Sonic and Tails 2 ('triple trouble') I initially bounced hard off of this one. The special stage entry restrictions felt too restrictive - 50 rings PLUS find ONE monitor hidden somewhere in the stage. It combines the mainline S2 and S3 concepts into a double challenge. Once you're comfortable enough with the game though, its actually very manageable to plot your route. The visuals do great work translating the S3&K style into 8-bit, probably the prettiest of these aside from 1 (although thats obviously subjective). knuckles piloting a boss vehicle is funny. Fang is funny. I wish they hadnt taken away his gun. Big props to this game for committing to its own core mechanics for sonic - they put in some great challenges making use of balling-up-from-spring and the strike dash.
Not sure if i'll bother with Sonic Blast, at least for the time being. on the whole though these games are fun if you don't expect them to be exactly like the mega drive games.

The Ultimate Guide to Buying Budget-Friendly Laptops
Introduction:
In today's fast-paced digital world, owning a reliable and efficient laptop is a necessity for students, professionals, and tech enthusiasts alike. However, with a plethora of options available in the market, finding the perfect budget-friendly laptop can be overwhelming. Fear not! In this comprehensive guide, we will walk you through the essential factors to consider when purchasing a budget-friendly laptop. Whether you're a student on a tight budget or simply looking for a great deal, follow these tips to make an informed decision and find the best laptop that suits your needs and wallet.
Determine Your Needs:
Before diving into the sea of budget-friendly laptops, take a moment to define your requirements. Consider what you'll primarily use the laptop for - studying, web browsing, multimedia, gaming, or work-related tasks. Understanding your needs will help you narrow down the specifications and features required for your ideal laptop.
Set a Realistic Budget:
Budget-friendly laptops come in a range of prices, so it's essential to set a realistic budget based on your affordability. Determine the maximum amount you are willing to spend, but also be open to slight fluctuations, as you might come across excellent deals and discounts.
Check Processor and RAM:
The processor and RAM are vital components that determine the laptop's overall performance. Aim for at least an Intel Core i5 or AMD Ryzen 5 processor and 8GB of RAM. This configuration will ensure smooth multitasking and adequate processing power for everyday tasks.
Storage Options:
Budget-friendly laptops often come with various storage options. Traditional hard drives offer more storage space at a lower cost, while Solid State Drives (SSD) provide faster performance. If speed is a priority, consider opting for a laptop with an SSD or a hybrid storage option.
Display and Graphics:
The display quality and graphics capabilities are crucial, especially if you plan to watch videos, work with multimedia, or indulge in light gaming. Look for a laptop with at least a Full HD (1920x1080) resolution and an integrated or dedicated graphics card.
Battery Life:
Portability is one of the key advantages of owning a laptop, and a good battery life ensures you can use it on the go without constantly searching for a power outlet. Aim for a laptop with at least 6-8 hours of battery life for optimal mobility.
Connectivity and Ports:
Check the laptop's connectivity options and available ports. Ensure it has USB ports, HDMI, audio jack, and any other essential ports you might need for connecting peripherals.
Consider the Brand and Warranty:
Opt for reputable laptop brands known for their quality and after-sales support. Also, check the warranty terms and coverage to ensure your investment is protected.
Read Reviews and Compare:
Before making a final decision, read reviews and compare different models. Look for feedback from users who have purchased the same laptop to get an idea of its real-world performance and reliability.
Conclusion:
Buying a budget-friendly laptop doesn't mean compromising on quality and performance. With careful research and consideration of your needs, you can find a laptop that offers excellent value for your money. Use this ultimate guide to make an informed decision and discover the perfect budget-friendly laptop that fits your lifestyle and requirements. Happy laptop hunting!

Is this super late, or super early? Hard to say, but some days you wake up well before your alarm and you think, welp, might as well post a pod last review. That's how that works, right? 🤔 Let's talk about new in 2022, Desert Skies AND it's sister podcast of shorts, Desert Skies FM by Jared Carter. (I tried swiffering the net, but I'm not even sure Jared has an IG or tumbler. 🤷‍♀️). Desert Skies and it's sister podcast are a spec-fic (🤔 ?) thoughtful, humor podcast about our first stop on the astral highway, the Astral Plane Fuel and Service Station, we visit on our path through the afterlife. Focused around the gas station attendant ("attendee" for short), the Mechanic ("Mac"), and their sentient cash register ("Cash") who mind the shop and assist people on their path through the afterlife. There are 33 celestial spheres to pass through on the astral plane before you get to...whatever happens next. They explain where you are and what happens next, provide you with free snacks (and a portable microwave, if you decide to have some burritos), while they fuel up your car--a 1986 Buick Skylark. Why a Skylark? No one really knows--but hey, it's a solid piece of machinery. One pro-tip, don't try to turn around and drive back to the physical plane, you will die permanently, and a new burrito that captures your essence will appear in the freezer case (Tell me your burrito flavor in the comments). While they provide info for new customers, they try to find out info about who they were on the physical plane, play games, mind the shop, and occasionally talk to coyotes. They're not sure about anything from the time before, but at least they have a friend in each other. On their sistercast, Desert Skies FM, Attendee and Mac provide short broadcasts to all the Skylarks with tips and advice for travelers. Don't talk to celestial movers, don't roll down your windows on the Mars sphere, and remember to use rest areas for reflection, as needed. So if you like surreal stories, buddy comedies, and light philosophy, the Desert Skies is for you! #speculativefiction #specfic #cozy #drama #trypod #podcasts #podcast #podcastrecommendation #podcastrecommendations https://www.instagram.com/p/CmG7EM_uqTQ/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

Here’s my note before I’ll get started….

2024 Review - Seagate 2TB Portable Drive (First Half - Unboxing Impressions)
No “On This Day” posting once again, but might be the right time to focus on this instead. It’s been a long waited time for me; especially for what was my most “limited” experience when trying to complete my art trades in time. Though thankfully I’m keeping it cool to get through my friend’s request for January 2024; without having to rush as I’d developed my art skills for sometime. I’m lucky enough to get those done despite giving some multiple details if I wanted to keep it going. Other than that, I’ve been secretly supported my DeviantArt page with two recent fanarts I’d saved. At least that counts for something while I’m not too busy on my friend’s art trade requests this hard. 😅
Just needed to squeeze one more for the last week of January 2024. But for today, I’m now about to bring you my first half review for my Seagate 2TB Portable Drive I was looking forward. Keep in mind, this will be the focus for an unboxing part I’d taken. Do forgive myself that I would’ve like to continue on by installation and progression, but that’s gonna be for February posts hopefully. So anyways, here’s my unboxing impressions for this latest item after my mom ordered from Amazon.com. Link Here

Let me just say it does bring my excitement regardless this is suppose to be my last year’s Christmas present request. (And the second one which yet to be revealed.) Well, we can’t expect anything to arrived in time for that matter. So as I get into my package, it came with the main item, a USB 3.0 cable, and two other books. Nothing too much, but exactly what it needed like if I wanted more. Besides, this is good enough of having two items to install with my gaming console; which I’ll get to reveal soon.

(Dated: Jan. 25th, 2024) (Just after setting up with my external portable drive. Sorry if I would’ve included from the beginning.)
Here’s a closer look of my portable drive while I’m holding. It seems small enough to fit in your pockets, but best if you don’t do this by accidental breaking. I’d looked up for the product details from Amazon.com that was about “4.6 x 3.15 x 0.58 inches and 6.72 ounces.” Just making sure if it can fit anything other than pockets from your pants. For as the USB 3.0 cable was obviously needed to transfer with. It’s about 18 inches and hopes of high-speed connectivity. If I ever lost it, then preying myself when checking some similar USB 3.0 cables that should work to transfer connection.
My Overall Thoughts (so far):
I’m very happy to unboxed this without some issues. There’s plenty other hard drives to looked from, but the Seagate one is the first way to go. I would imagined if I can planned more on hard drives for other of my devices. Since it didn’t have with my own laptop/computer desktop, my gaming console is the closest way I can get. Either way, this portable drive of mine is something to look forward to.
Hope you guys enjoy this first half review I’d going through, but promised be back for more during February 2024 for free time. I’ll be coming back for another weekdays at the program through Mondays and Fridays as always. What that being said, at least I got this first half review in time….just before going to bed though. ^^* See ya, guys.

My Yearend Techs & Misc. Items Summary - 2022
Hello! So, 2022 is about to end in a few hours. A few positive moments 🙂⬆️, but some are negative moments in the past 😞⬇️, with my most heart breaking moment was my old hard drive will soon vanish because I can't work it right, and I'm unable to save my precious files. 😭 But, don't worry, I'll be strong when it hits 2023. 💪 As some would say, "Where there's a will, there's a way". 🥲 And, since I can't retrieve my old template, I decided to create my own template from scratch instead of fetching a traceable template from the internet image search. Which is good for me.
Anyway, enough for that, let’s talk about my ‘My Yearend Techs and Misc. Items Summary 2022’! And here are my choices per month so far, both ongoing & done topics:
• JAN - Redragon Rudra (K565R) Full Size Mechanical Keyboard (done): So far, I'm having fun typing & playing with my 1st ever owned mechanical keyboard from the 2021 Christmas gift. However, one con that I've found from experiencing mech keyboard was wearing off the tactical keystrokes after longevity used. I'm still curious to see if this mech keyboard from Redragon is swappable/removable key switches; though it didn't advertise or include this feature. Regardless, it is still worth it to use my daily computer activities.
• FEB - 8bitdo Pro 2 Controller (ongoing): Arguably the most worthy controller in my review, the 8Bitdo's Pro 2 controller is my current go-to 3rd-party controller on multiple gaming devices (Android, iOS, Steam, Switch, and PC/Laptop). Though to be fair, the SN30 Pro+ had a special place in my heart, so much so that I want to buy another one. But, I digress. The Pro 2 controller improves the predecessor by adding back paddle buttons, a profile switch, toggling four platform devices, and connecting the 8bitdo ultimate software app on Android/ Apple iOS on the go without bringing a bulky laptop.
• MAR - Oria 120 in 1 Screwdriver Set (done): As a tech-savvy enthusiast, I decided to buy my own Screwdriver Set, in case that I want something to fix on my daily used devices, namely "Smartphones". Because it's very common now, to this day.
• APR - Fixing my PC - Volume II Story: A sequel to my last year's story, I made another huge mistake after I disassembled & cleaning the entire parts of the PC desktop harmlessly until it went down south. So, my mom provided me to buy a new motherboard & CPU to keep my computer alive. I'm still concerned about my 160 GB HD (that contains my important & precious files), therefore, my puzzle is incomplete, to this day.
• MAY - Adata HD330 External Hard Drive - 2 TB (done): On the bright side, I bought my own brand new 2 TB external hard drive from the folks of Adata. And while I'm filling out some files by drawing digital artwork or recording videos, I always stored my NEW precious files onto my portable memory drive.
• JUN - N-Power LED RGBW Bulb w/ Remote (done): A single-color light bulb is boring to some. But, a light bulb that contains different colors using a remote on our fingertips is far better & entertaining. And I can't do without N-Power. Plus, it's way cheaper than other brands.
• JUL - Unbranded USB AA Rechargeable Batteries (done): This unique cell battery doesn't require a battery cell charger, instead, it uses a USB type A to charge using either from the computer, a power bank or a USB wall charger (or any similar devices that involves USB type A). A fully charged AA battery estimates up to 6 to 7 hours, not 2.5 to 3 hours. Yeah, that's a downside, but you won't regret owning it.
• AUG - Phone Tripod Mouth Adapter (done): I want something that rotates my mouthed smartphone without adjusting from my tripod, and thankfully my wish was granted. To this day, I'm still using it for my recording & snapshot purposes using my current smartphone (Honor 8C).
• SEPT - Keweisi (or KOWSI) USB Multifunctional Tester (done): Honesty, I'm tired of manual time using my phone & opening a stopwatch as my timer. I just can't tell what's the real estimated time during my charging test. Well, not to worry! Because the USB Multifunctional Tester from Keweisi (or KOWSI?) should do the job. The only thing I need to do is to keep an eye on a specific time when charging any device is full.
• OCT - QKZ AK6 Pro IEM Earphones (done): My ZNT R620 earphone [CLICK ME!] might be an ‘A-Okay’ status & using it as my primary earphone. But, all that changed when I switched to QKZ's AK6 Pro as my first ever owned IEM earphone! It's the cheapest IEM earphone (on the market) with the ability to remove IEM cables, and I'm still embracing it. I just love these IEM earphones so much, that I need someone to compete against other brands.
• NOV - Rechargeable Light Tube (done): By far, the most likable & unique item I ever owned, this fluorescent light look-a-like has three available sizes; depending on their amount of watts. And right here is the 40 Watts. Perfect for outside activities, travel, and even camping.
Here is my honorable mention:
Tumblr media
• FEB - ZNT R620 Earphones (done): As I said, it's A-Okay. However, their loudness sound didn't match, particularly the right channel. It's a good thing I'm done using it because I've already got the aforementioned QKZ AK6 Pro IEM Earphones.
Alright, back to my topic pick & this is my last!↓
• DEC - Sonicgear Quatro 2 USB Speakers (done): And finally, my last item review is the Sonicgear Quatro 2 USB Speakers. Their design & sound quality are decently average, in my opinion, but their four bass drives could use a little tweak to make it better, or maybe swap it out from other brands & make a custom for your music taste.
Well, that’s the end of my “My Yearend Techs and Misc. Items 2022”. We’ll see you in 2023.
🥳 Happy new years eve to all, and as always, stay safe!😷
