Hi guys,

We are starting this week off with a brand new product from Rare Beauty! I adore everything from Rare Beauty whether it's the branding, the products or the message behind the brand. I think they do a great job at advertising makeup but also highlighting the importance of natural beauty at the same time. I usually wear Rare Beauty when I want to wear more natural looking makeup compared to my more heavier full coverage makeup.

Today we are chatting about the brand new Soft Pinch Luminous Powder Blushes,£26.00! If you didn't know Rare Beauty has become known for their pigmented liquid blushes. Last year there was a viral trend of beauty influencers mixing the Rare Beauty Liquid highlighters with the Liquid blushes to make a glowy blush formula. Selena said that she saw this trend everywhere and went back to the Rare Beauty team to make a glowy powder blush for everyone to use. Honestly Miss Gomez is amazing at listening to when her fans want and using her beauty brand to make the products.

Now this is the first powder blush formula from Rare Beauty and as I mentioned it's a luminous formula so if you don't like a glowy blush I would stick to her liquid matte formula instead. On Space Nk they describe the blush as a " feather-light, so it gives the most natural and flattering look effortlessly. Its silky powder texture feels comfortable against the skin, while durable pigments provide an uplifted look all day long". I decided to play it safe and get the lightest shade in this collection called Cheer! Cheer is a gorgeous soft pink shade on the cheeks but you can build up the formula if you want a more intense glow.

I've been using this blush for 2 weeks now and I adore this formula. Every time I use the blush I feel like it gives my skin the flush of colour it needs to perk up my fair complexion. I'm really glad I got the shade Cheer because the other shade I was looking at was Happy but when you look at the tutorials they aren't drastically different so I'm happy with my choice. If you are looking to buy these blushes I would recommend shopping through SPACE NK as there powder products typically don't get damaged in transit because the pack them really well (at least in my experience anyway).

So if you're looking for a new glowy blush in your collection I would recommend checking out Rare Beauty's new collection because there are a lot of shades to choose from. As always all products mentioned are linked above.

my base routine pt 2 ୨♡୧

contour/bronzer:

i use the elf putty bronzer and the makeup revolution fast base foundation stick . i dot the foundation stick pressing gently 2 dots on each side of my forehead and chin, 3 dots on each cheek then on my cupids bow and under my bottom lip. after i place these i take an angled brush with the elf brozer and blend the dots making sure to go upwards on my cheeks. then with a flat brush i draw on my nose contour and blend out with a small fluffy brush. then i apply the makeup revolution powder bronzer with a big fluffy brush and small fluffy brush everywhere i applied the cream bronzer

blush:

after i finish blending my contour i apply nyx powder puff lippie as cream blush and etude cookie blusher on top, i apply the cream blush in 5 dots on my cheek bones, 3 dots on the outer corners of my eye lids, 3 dots on my chin, a dot on my nose, on my cupids bow and under my bottom lip and blend with a beauty blender. then apply the powder blush on top.

highlighter:

first i used the abh moonchild pink heart highlighter, then the fenty wattabrat then the diamond bomb. i apply these on top of my cheeks, nose and under my brow.

setting spray:

i use the makeup revolution infinite and fix & glow sprays. i spray the infinite after im done with all my cream and liquid products, after im finished with all my powders and one last time before my lips. i spray the fix and glow at the very end of my makeup as a finishing spray.

Hey guys,

It's been a while since I purchased a powder blush, recently Charlotte Tilbury had a total restock of all their viral products and of course I had to pick up something.

I have had my eye on the iconic Cheek To Chic powder blush in the shade Love Glow and until a few weeks ago it was completely out of stock everywhere! I finally got a email saying it was back in stock so of course I ordered it straight away off the website which meant you also get 2 free samples. This time I picked a mini Pillow Talk mascara and a Magic Cream sample.

Like I said I picked up the shade Love Glow which is the most stunning two-tone pearlescent pink shade that really compliments so many skin tones. Personally as someone extremely fair this is my perfect everyday shade. If you haven't used these powders before the idea is you swirl your brush in a circle for the main shade and then pop in the center circle for a pop of colour mixed together. In this case both shades are shimmer based so you get a gorgeous healthy glow with both shades, usually it's a matte shade on the outer and shimmer in the center.

Now I will admit £34.00 is a lot for a blusher HOWEVER out of all the makeup products you can buy I feel like powder blushes usually last the longest so it kinda justifies the price. I love this formula because it blends into my facebase with no issues and gives me a gorgeous pink coral shimmer finish. So if you are very fair like me and love Charlotte Tilbury then this could be your perfect shade. As always I have linked the blush above and don't forget last time it sold out really quickly so grab it while you can!
