just saw asteroid city last night, pls explain the proposed significance of the kiss!!

(and tbh it’s the 50s so he wouldnt be able to perform grief publicly anyway!!!!) the play starts with a car accident… anyone would search for some hidden meaning there, some sign…. so when he talks to margot robbie outside it’s not really about finding the CHARACTER’s motivations it’s about the actor himself being able to process the playwright’s death! and adrien brody director was probably also dealing with that too (him and norton seemed to be good buddies) so the whole “sleeping backstage” thing gets a bit sadder maybe? maybe everyone else got this in the theatre and im just stupid lol but crazy making stuff to me!!! the whole story is about sublimated gay grief that cannot be expressed?!?!

the tweet that caught me onto this was here which posits that the playwright’s death was a suicide but i think that’s pretty stupid and unnecessary because the whole thing about the play asteroid city is that death is random and meaningless. im pretty sure that’s what the alien represents— a shocking and absurd event that isnt outright evil or menacing, not something anyone can predict or make sense of, it’s just a thing that happens to you out of nowhere, it doesnt mean anything. he’s a little black figure, he’s death! giving and taking! aagh

Creator!Reader who knows a couple of languages (plus points if they're atleast fluent or have a understanding of it despite not being able to speak said language) and being born from a country that doesnt have the same language as the countries Teyvat based off. Basically Spanish, Italian, Filipino, Scandinavian languages that also have their own way of writing.

Imagine feeling homesick and the only thing that keeps you occupied is the notebook and pen you have while the others converse in a meeting or in a hangout. You started writing in your tongue and re-reading it to relive memories.

(the Sun-Harra combo tastes like mango, a sort of deeper taste of pineapple/kiwi and a sort of light orange taste? all with the nice addition of chile flavors, the Lavender melons and Wolfhooks helped imitate chamoy enough that your heart was satisfied)

…you realize you’ve just been talking about the last meal you had with your family/friends instead of the food after a bit, and Zhongli hasn’t said anything…

you trail off and look back over your shoulder (u were practically about to get your shirt in the imitation guac u were leaning so far over the table to point and talk)

you’re about to sheepishly apologize for taking over the conversation, and ask if he wants to try anything (Zhongli can handle spice so u dont have to worry abt that at least)

but as u finally see his face, u just stop, and dont end up saying anything

istg if walkie talkie ends up NOT being taco ill be so damn surprised. like if its not taco it’ll end up being some random new antagonist we’ve never even met before (or cobs, which i doubt; i don’t think it’s cobs himself, but i do believe whoever it is could very well be working for him)

itd be weird to introduce a whole new character in the final episode, itd make more sense to play off a character who’s been in the show the entire time and has reason to play the role of antagonist.

season 2 proved taco knows how meeple products work/how to override their functions for her advantage. also she’s proven to be a great manipulator, so it’d make sense how she’d be able to collect a whole gang of people who don’t even necessarily hate mephone all that much, and turn them against him (sprinkles and dr fizz probably being the best examples of this; you even see dr fizz question WT’s actions during the whole confrontation near the end of iii18). It’d also explain why Ballpoint Pen isnt part of the Unvitationals; tbh he seems way too smart to be manipulated, no offense everyone else, even though he does seem to have a similar level of reason to hate mephone as the other Unvitationals.

so basically, vote to join III. Understandable as to why Lightbulb, Knife, and Suitcase can’t join the cast, they’re still part of s2, but why Taco? Her arc with Mic has basically ended, I highly doubt they’re going to interact anymore because Taco has shown no real interest in Mic on an emotional level, she just wanted to use her for her own gain; and now that Mic is no longer in the game, she probably sees her as ‘useless’ to her. no chance in manipulating any of the remaining cast, so why not teleport away… and try to manipulate someone else….?

Okay so HONESTLY im gonna ramble about this idea i got from reading one of the genshin sagau posts about the creator and their books that are read are popping into tevyat BUT imagine if it were the movies we have watched (inspired from @sagaubeloved sorry for the ping if it bothers you 😭)

LIKE imagine if ur a horror movie fanatic, IMAGINE THE CHARACTER'S REACTION. Idk if u watch horror bcs u like it or u just like a good scare or two but imagine showing them a movie like maybe the nun 2 or fnaf or coraline or ANY HORROR MOVIES. Imagine if the people (scholars, maybe some theatrics enjoyers?) are horrified watching it "THE CREATOR WATCHES THIS?!" "Yeah i do-" They'd either get nightmares or became really paranoid cause horror movie end credits sometimes scares me like 'based on-' no. I think they'd be paranoid because it says based on real life or something. i had soo much fun at the alex g show ive never been to a show in a huge venue amphitheater esque place before it was really fun and i liked the seated aspect tbh :) driving to philly was a fkn nightmare there was soo much traffic in virginia n maryland and then in philly too so we were a little late to tanukichan's set. i was sooo looking forward to hearing hunned bandz so im rly sad they didnt let her play her last song (cuz the fire alarm went off after like 8 seconds and they just ended her set 😭plus her whole performance was so short she only played 5 songs.. ig makes sense for a long show w coheadliners plus her but shes underrateddd) i was so disappointed ngll but she sounded really good and i got to hear some songs off gizmo that i really luv :) alvvays was good too but tbh i dont listen to them that much and im not a hugest fan of their sound sometimes (sorru if im debased) but it was still a good performance. i liked the sound quality in the venue bc it was so loud when i went to get merch u can still hear the music nd everything.. i got my bf a Gizmo t shirt its super cute and i like how it looks on him it has the gizmo dog on it i said it was bf coded.. nd im also gonna wear it.. and i got a Gizmo cd and we talked to tanukichan's drummer for a bit he was nice :) and then i Did not get the white Alex g angel tank top that i wanted sososo bad bc they only had XL left so i got the black t shirt instead whateva.. its still cute.. then it took loke 40 min to get drinks bc the ljnes were so long and i got this rlyy yummy drink and all the beers and seltzers were 15$? and everyone was buying them? lol but we said fuck it nd got drinks cuz its fun to drink at shows and drinking to alex g was soooo fun i got so tipsy off my drink and mine was yummy so actually worth it, my bf got a nasty pale ale lmao but i was vibingg sm to alexs set i loved it sm every song was great and its just so much fun going to a show for an artist u love and know every song etcetc and i was hving a lot of fun dancing and singing and kissing my bf and holding onto him when i felt the alcohol more and recording videos (ive been listenjng and watching my concert videos sinceee i recorded a lot even tho i thought i wouldnt but its always worth it to me to get clips of songs i love bc i always go back and listen) etc. my favs probably were bug, sportstar, immunity, rejoyce ;) also molly was there and she was amazing!! and then after the show we walked around for a bit and then briefly talked to alex gs brother lmfaooo and then went to our airbnb which was not hard to find or a pain so that was nice bc i was sososoo tired and it was a cute little room and we ordered pizza and watched adventure time episode then passed out and then had morning sex then went 20 min to NJ to a dispensary and bought 💨 and drove 7 hours back which was brutal and i have to go to work tmrw but its ok i had a lot of fun 👍even tho i spent soo much on gas and parking etcetc but worth it.. i never go on tripsss.. tho i wish i had longer for trips cuz we didnt do any sightseeing or anything bc then wed get back home rly latee </3 but its ok. i rly liked philly tho ^-^

what made you pick up the current muse(s) you have?

uhm well i've been obsessed w/ this band & these characters ( especially 2D ) since i was a wee teenager,,,,,, his muse kinda came out of nowhere after a few years of being quiet & ran me over. he does not have a license.

is there anything you don’t like to write?

well obviously i wont write anything reprehensible or nasty but just like, surface level?? not that i can think of. it depends who / what muses im writing with, too.

is there anything you really enjoy writing?

any opportunity i can get to swim around 2D's head & make him retrospective is always a good time. i love exploring the complex thoughts characters have that we, as an audience, don't really get to see often -- or only catch glimpses of. i like getting messy & philosophical with it. but ofc angst tropes i adore, as well as found family. certain ships with 2D i also wouldnt mind exploring.

how do you come up with headcanons?

a lot of it is lived experience, i think. it'll be like "this character is just like me fr" & then i'll think of ways to make them even MORE like me. it's nice to see yourself represented, even in little ways. but sometimes i'll be inspired by fanfictions, music, tv shows . . . like i listened to an old panic! song & came up with a hc for 2D that way lmao. sometimes i'll just see humans doing human things & relate it to characters. my mind just doesn't shut up tbh

do you write in silence or do you play music?

always music. i feel like i'll pass out if i don't have some kind of sound going on constantly

do you plan your replies or wing them?

9 times out of 10 i'm winging it. sometimes, especially with first time interactions with muses from different fandoms or oc's i do some planning -- just to kind of get a grasp on who the other person is playing & how 2D would interact with them, or how their worlds would intersect. but if i worry too long it just makes me anxious haha so i just try to have fun with it & hope everyone else does, too!

do you enjoy shipping?

im lowkey kind of reserved with my ships for 2D fjksljflks i only really have two & im not really looking to do shipping rps unless someone mused those characters & felt comfortable, but it's fun to reference his feelings in threads!
