THE BIG FIND 2023: Day 1
The Big Find is a 10-day long Drarry fic-finding marathon to celebrate the blog’s anniversary. Below is the Day 1 compilation of lost fics, both old and new, that we’ve been unable to find. Our aim is to get as much attention to these lost fics as possible, to help people finally find their missing fics! Anyone can participate by reblogging, reading through each list, providing additional fic details, and informing us the title, author, or link of a fic, and their respective number in the comment section. Happy finding!
1.1 It’s a fic where after Draco is sentenced to live in muggle world and Draco first works in a cofee shop and then in a pharmaceutical company formed by a witch. then on a full moon day he suddenly turns into a werewolf and then with bill helps him adjust, and then he becomes potions professor meanwhile Harry adopts teddy and becomes defence professor and Harry magic goes haywire
1.2 it has Draco, Hermione, Ron, and Harry but the main scene is basically just Draco and Harry in the Room of Requirement. Premise is that Harry had been using magic to glamour himself to cover up the signs or the Dursley’s abuse FOREVER so no one has actually seen what he looks like. Somehow I think Ron and Hermione convince Harry to let someone in so he decides to show Draco who he’s dating what he actually looks like and Draco is so shocked/aghast Harry thinks he’s disgusted and one of them (though i don’t remember who) runs away back to the dorm and Harry is deeply upset. I believe it’s relatively short (2-10k?) and i feel like it’s 2-3 chapters or parts but could be wrong. It’s probably AO3 but slight possibility it was FFN (HIGHLY unlikely tho). If it is AO3 then unfortunately it’s not tagged for any of the things i listed.
1.3 Harry and Draco were out with Teddy, and they ran into Neville who questioned Harry about Draco and their relationship. I believe it was winter. There’s another scene that I can remember and I don’t know if I’m conflating two different fics but there’s a scene where Harry and Draco are shopping in muggle London and they’re looking at weird shirts and they run into Vernon who makes some homophobic slurs.
FOUND! 1.4 I’m looking for a fic that was on ao3. Draco is some sort of an artist, not sure if professionally or simply something he pursues as a hobby for his healing. Writer or painter maybe. He has a mentor who tells him to go a retreat by the seaside in a little hotel which he does and he runs into Harry by accident. Harry is overall happy and open to him, but Draco has a lot of anger towards him I think. They start a dom/sub relationship, Draco being the dom, taking pleasure out of humiliating Harry. Towards the end there’s a scene where he makes Harry suck off a stranger in a bars bathroom or maybe the stranger sucks Harry off while Draco watches. But I think this is a where Harry has enough because ultimately he only wants Draco. It’s a happy end if I remember well.
1.5 i read this fic on ao3 it was unfinished and a muggle au. harry works at an office (I think) where he is the boss and he meets Draco at a bar. Jily is still dead so Halloween is hard for him. He also dated Cedric I think and Cedric died. Draco helps bartend with Theo, and Draco is dressed like a cat cause of Halloween. Draco then gets assaulted and harry punches the guy. after that they hangout in Harry’s car.
1.6 Draco and Harry had a one night stand (I think?) and Draco gets pregnant, he doesn’t tell Harry and then leaves the baby with him once it’s born, Harry didn’t know that he is the father but keeps the baby. Said baby gets sick and the treatment involves the father so he publishes about it in the Prophet and ask the baby’s dad to please show up. Draco does and had some test done, they start the treatment and Harry asks him to stay.
FOUND! 1.7 been looking for this fic for a long time. i think draco is some sort of healer in the fic and harry always come to him injured and he helps patch him up also they’re close friends and by the end of the fic they go to ginny’s quidditch match and the gang helps them realise they have feeling for each other?
1.8 I believe it was on AO3 but I could be wrong, I think it was a number of fics in a series but it could have been chapters but I’m fairly sure it was complete. It was set post-war, Harry had become an Auror and was apparating home from an alley while buzzed. There was a line about how the whores don’t hit on him anymore because he never takes them home? He hears a weird noise and his magic automatically sobers him up. The noise is Draco, who got kicked out by parents and got roofied. Harry rescues him, I think Draco passes out? and then Harry is annoyed because his buzz is gone and he has to deal with this. The second fic (or chapter) opens from Draco’s POV. He’s looking around the bedroom he’s in and he figures out it’s the old Black house because of the furniture and that Harry must have rescued him but taken him home instead of the hospital. He decides to seduce Harry and he’s able to conjure like a mirror and brush? and there’s a line about how this is the only spell he’s able to do wordlessly/wandlessly? I think the POV then switches to Harry and there’s a line about how Draco has managed to get like a single ray of light from the curtains to fall on him perfectly. Harry is aware he’s being seduced but he’s into it. Then I think the next chapter has Harry confronting the Malfoy parents about how they’re going to get married and they’re not going to hyphenate names, Draco is going to take his last name. The final fic is maybe from Lucius pov (or narcissa?) Draco threw Harry a really big birthday party and reveals he’s pregnant which causes Lucius to faint? And there’s a line about how the baby has brought both Harry and Lucius to their knees.
FOUND! 1.9 harry tells draco that he wants to wait until theyre eight years into their relationship to get married so that hed have spent more time loving him than hating him before they tie the knot
1.10 auror fic where Draco and Harry have to work together to arrest some child abuser and learn about each other’s past. I don’t remember if they were in relationships or it was drarry but the focus was the work in the auror force and their building relationship.
1.11 major plot point is ginny and Molly Weasley being behind some sort of plot and eventually are imprisoned. I know Ron is an ass for much of the fic, hermione helps solve a case or problem with Harry and involves draco. Not a lot much else I recall fic is not The Haunting of Harry Potter by Alexandria_ofCiro
1.12 was either 1 or 2 chapters, it was on ffnet. Set in the eighth year. The plot is somewhat similar to the show/manga “boys over flowers”. Also Draco was being bullied due to receiving a howler (I think, sorry it’s been a long time since I’ve read it) Neville has an unrequited crush on Draco and they are friends.
1.13 takes place in the eighth year but some of it also takes place after the war but before the eighth year. Draco receives an inheritance from a high ranking Veela who died which made him a Veela. Most of what I remember takes place before he goes back to hogwarts and is basically him learning how to be a Veela and stuff
FOUND! 1.14 Draco cursing his family name (Malfoy) because he wants to feel pain each time someone says it to it. So i think the fic starts with Draco working as a cafe barista in the human world and harry walks into the shop and calls him Malfoy, so the curse is kinda unlocked and Draco gets sick so he has to stay under surveillance in Harry’s house

✕✕✕ ABOUT.
( updated 2 / 6 /2024 )
NAME Matthias Czernin. (Louis)
TITLE The Puppeteer.
GENDER Male.
PRONOUNS He / Him / His.
AGE 24
D.O.B. Happy Birthday!
ETHNICITY Czech.
HEIGHT 6ft 3in.  ( 190.5 cm )
ORIENTATION Demiromantic, Asexual.
OCCUPATION Entertainer, Puppeteer.
LANGUAGE(S) Czech, French, English.
FACTION Survivor.
✕✕✕
 PERSONALITY.
Quiet and prone to giving the silent treatment without intending to, Matthias prefers keeping to himself most times, or using Louis to speak on his behalf. Though he’s not mute, it’s rare of him to speak for himself unless it’s through Louis, and seems to actively avoid being addressed directly.
Louis, however, seems friendly and playful, but still carries the immaturity and ignorance of youth; due to this, it’s believable that the puppet and the puppeteer are separate entities, or perhaps different points of time in Matthias’ life, especially when arguing. If one weren’t fooled, however, they’d realise Matthias’ is unstable and uses Louis as a defence-mechanism to protect himself - even if it’s to his own detriment.
Despite the fragility of Matthias’ mind, he is a stubborn and resilient young man who stands firm in his beliefs, regardless of opposition from others, even going so far as to dismiss his own autonomy if it means driving a point across to others.
When push comes to shove, however, he is not without a short fuse, quick to lashing out on others if pressured, and easily resorting to violence. Lanky as he is, he can pack a hefty punch, and has no qualms with setting himself on fire if it means taking down those who mean him harm at the same time. If it isn’t obvious by his appearance alone, approach with caution.
  HEADCANONS.
×   He keeps his head slightly cocked to compensate for the loss of his left eye; he also prefers sleeping on his left side.
×   He is dealing with untreated PTSD, DID, AVPD, and Imposter Syndrome as a result of the poor treatment from his family, and head trauma from the stage’s collapse.
×   Yes, he does talk to Louis even when alone. He’s very conflicted on how his interactions with the puppet goes; the conversations can rapidly vary between fear, anger, and friendliness.
×   If someone were to steal Louis, he wouldn’t worry; that fucking thing has a habit of popping back up no matter where he goes…
×   He has moments where he seems to regret the loss of his family, if only because there was a longing for them to see him as he was, and not who they wanted him to be. This manifests as Louis pestering him with questions about the incidents and often results in Matthias displaying fits of aggression.
×   Matthias not only has insomnia, but will sometimes sleepwalk the few times he’s able to actually get some rest. During these times, he will occasionally speak in Louis’ voice.
×   Despite Matthias’ on and off dislike for Louis, the puppet doesn’t seem to harbour any ill-will for Matthias - and seems to go out of his way to try and cheer Matthias up. Even going so far as to protect him.
×   Matthias daydreams of someday being able to enjoy his birthday with friends, but that requires having friends in the first place. That, and he struggles to enjoy it even by himself as it feels it’s only a reminder of his failure to be worth loving as he is.
×   His parents named the puppet Louis because Matthias doesn’t sound as nice in French. Furthermore, he intentionally butchers the French language when speaking it. Get mad, French Losers…
×   Louis speaks French almost perfectly fluent unless he’s trying to be endearingly imperfect.
×   Matthias has terrible depth perception since the incident, and although he’s learnt to adjust he struggles with timing Louis’ use of undaunted because of it.
×   He sometimes avoids mirrors because he’ll see Louis staring back at him instead of himself.
×   Unbeknownst to Matthias, his mother and her side of the family are followers of Yidhra.
×   His father also has a prominent lineage, but it’s something of a mystery to Matthias who was only ever aware of their history in puppetry.
×   The doll repair kit on his belt has seen more use mending his own wounds than actual dolls or puppets. The lip stitches are a method of self-imposed lip-training.
  HUNTERS.
The memories of his first match are hazy at best, but he knows he really does not like them; staying in his room because of them, Matthias makes a point to treat them as though hunters are invisible. If he doesn’t address the monsters in his nightmares, they can’t hurt him, and that’s all this is, it’s just another never-ending nightmare, right?
And even if it isn’t, why would he ever want to befriend those who’ve proven themselves terrible?
   SURVIVORS.
He’s just as wary of them as he is the Hunters. Regardless of this, and the fact he seems to prefer avoiding people, he has no desire to see harm done unto them by the monsters set free to torture them for entertainment in the arena.
   MATCH STYLE.
His match style is unknown at this time due to memories of his first match being hazy to him; based on his skills, however, it can be inferred that he relies on the use of Louis to rescue others, as he’s more than willing to let the thing be destroyed. Especially if it happens by supernatural means; get RID of that thing… Much to his dismay, Louis seems invulnerable to attacks, especially through the use of the skill ‘undaunted’.
Overall he seems to prefer kiting these nightmarish Hunters through matches himself. He doesn’t seek to humiliate them as much as buy the others time, playing the role of silent prey.
Also, due to circumstances, Matthias is unable to receive healing from others; however, he’s able to mend himself while mending others.

Hi, I'm Mothy!
I'll add more later, but for the sake of clarity, I just wanted to make sure everyone knows I'm A) an adult with other things I like to get up to that isn't just this blog, and B) write Matthias' disability partially from my own experiences - so ableism will not be tolerated.
While I enjoy RPing, this blog will likely end up just being an ask blog.
x Mun is 31 and would rather not be on friendly terms with minors. It's fine to interact with the blog, but please don't try to interact with me OOC unless it's joking to one another in tags or replies.
x This blog will stay relatively SFW. Minors are asked to not interact with posts that may imply NSFW on this blog. Those posts will be tagged accordingly.
x If there's something that needs tagged, you may ask me to tag it.
x Mun is intergender Agender, and knowledgeable on most intersex content and how it's portrayed poorly in media and looking to rectify that without making it an inherently explicit.

what becomes of the broken-hearted || sano family mini-series ft. twin!reader [part 2]
Tumblr media
Idea: Sano!Family x Female Reader, Mikey-Twin!Reader Genre: Angst, Family, Romance Series Summary: The rise and fall of the Invincible Mikey and Irrefutable [N/N] through the eyes of those they've loved, lost and found.  Between shifting timelines, can the love of their friends and family save them from themselves?
Part 1 – Part 2
Chapter Summary:
Baji would do anything for [Y/N]. His actions end with moments he wishes could last forever and moments that will haunt him for the rest of his life.
Baji [Original Timeline]
Baji Keisuke meets Sano [F/N] for the first time at age 5.
His mother takes him to the Sano Family Dojo after he gets his fourth warning at school where he sits sullenly in a corner, only to laugh when she knocks the instructor flat on his ass with a single punch.
The instructor cries, calls his little sister a bully, and Kiesuki falls in love when she turns to him with a grin as sharp as his.
Keisuke makes sure to sit back with her when his own introductory warm-up is over, makes sure they exchange names ("My name’s Baji Keisuke!" "Nice to meet ya! I’m Sano [F/N]!"), and Keisuke sits at [Y/N]'s side again for the next 8 years.
He learns quickly that she’s different from other children their age. Namely because [Y/N] is a twin, and Keisuki has never met a twin before.
Manjiro is fourteen minutes younger than his sister, but the younger Sano wins Keisuki over the same way [Y/N] did when he knocks out his training partner with a fierce kick.
Thankfully, it's not their brother this time (”Shin-kun is too soft!” she huffs, fondly) and respectfully, Keisuke laughs louder.
[Y/N]'s father is killed and then her mother, and one day the twins are accompanied to the class by an even younger girl who Shin-chan introduces as their sister.
How they're still so strong, Keisuke doesn't know.
What he does know is that with Emma now in the family, Keisuki doesn't get to talk to [Y/N] as much as he'd like, which is fine.
In the time [Y/N] focuses on getting to know their new sister more, being a girl herself, Keisuke bonds with Manjiro.
Together, they give themselves new names in honour of their newest addition, and as [Y/N] pulls a flustered Emma back to them when she catches on to them, Keisuke never wants the moment to end.
Or rather, Edward doesn't want the moment to end as he sits and giggles with Mikey and [N/N], Emma smiling wider than she's ever had before.
Over time, their friendship follows them outside the Dojo and with Emma finally comfortable to be away from [N/N]'s side, something in Keisuki's heart just feels right when she's there during Toman's creation.
He can tell the others are a little unsure about her being there (not that they're sexist, but because most of them have sisters and mothers and they see them when they look at [N/N])–but Keisuke reminds them all with his fierce grin and years worth of memories that [N/N] is equally as strong as her brother.
Draken, who's come to know the twins just as well, notes her involvement in the fight a couple weeks ago and as the collective respect and admiration swells over the twins taking down Junpeke and his goons together–Keisuke thinks of the siblings he's gotten to know through the years.
He re-imagines Mikey as a spear, tearing through Junpeke's defences with his relentless kicks, and [N/N] as an impenetrable shield, blocking all the blind shots his goons had given, holding steady before she struck back just as hard.
The twins, he knows, are weapons in their own right, and Keisuke finds steel in his spine when he declares his oldest friends Co-Presidents.
Haruki and Takashi are the ones who title them officially as the Invincible Mikey (a monicker Mikey had gotten a while back) and the Irrefutable [N/N], but Keisuke takes pride in being the one to get Toman up and running to begin with.
In fact, he thinks back to the day they chose their new names because he doesn't want this moment to end, either.
Not when his friends are all together, all riding on the high of this new era that they're about to create together, and not when [N/N] breaks away from Mikey's side to join his instead.
"Ed," she grins, canines glinting, and [eye colour] eyes sparkling brightly despite the changing skylight. She’s the only who calls him by that name these days.
He loves it.
"[N/N]?" Keisuke says, chuckling.
Practically glowing, his first friend (though she and Mikey are his oldest friends, being his first friend is an honour only [N/N] holds) thanks him for vouching for her before they fall into discussions about the future for the Gang.
[N/N] explains that there are already people on her mind to bring in as seconds, territories she knows they can easily claim.
As she speaks and plans and schemes joyously, Keisuke’s smile is more soft than it is sharp when he tells her she’s already proving herself to be a good Co-president. That he’d volunteered her name because she’s someone he’d follow anywhere.
He’d do anything for her.
The statement leads him behind Kazutora as they break into this repair shop one evening, one where Kazutora says there are two bikes that their friends deserve. Just waiting to be taken to them.
"They’re gonna love it, Kei!".
Though Keisuke himself is not entirely convinced, he thinks of how excited [N/N] will be and he tags along.
He’d do anything for her.
They don't get the bikes.
Instead, Keisuke finds heartbreak and grief and everything in between as he becomes an accomplice in her brother's accidental murder.
“Shit, Shin-chan!”
When Kazutora is whisked away to Juvie, Keisuke is the one who faces the aftermath of their actions. The one who stands at the back of the funeral procession with his mother as they watch the Sano family assemble before Shin-kun’s grave.
Shinichiro’s ghost stands behind the twins, behind Emma and their Grandfather, but his eyes are pinned on Keisuke.
Slowly, he shifts his head to nod at the twins and as he does, Keisuke sees it.
There’s something brewing in their eyes, something cold in [N/N]’s stare and something dangerous in Mikey’s that has him thinking of thunderclouds clustering before a storm.
Unease settles in his stomach. And then Shinichiro vanishes, Emma runs from their Grandfather’s arms and crashes into the twins, and suddenly it’s as if everything was as it was before.
Keisuke's heart swells and then breaks all at once and then again three weeks later when his oldest friends come looking for him with sunken eyes and tired smiles to tell him they forgive him.
Shinichiro’s ghost visits his dreams in the months that follow, as does the memory of [N/N] and Mikey on that day ( It’s more haunting than the memory of the night Shinichiro died) and Keisuke wakes with the same guilt and shame pounding in his head.
“Hey, Ed! Come back me up here! Draken always agrees with Mikey!”
Jogging over to their little circle, the unease that’s followed him since the funeral grows into burning determination as [N/N] peers up at him, canines glinting as she smiles for the first time in months.
He’d do anything for her.
[In another life, anything leads to his death.]

At first I was worried when Juice joined BC because it messed up my Babyface Jay storyline then I realised Juice turning actually solved one of the biggest issues I had with my storyline. I had never given Gedo a new guy to manage, a new leader of Bullet Club. But now I have one in Juice.
At first I wasn't too sure about Juice immediately going from new member to leader but 1. I think he'd do a good job, 2. I actually sort of have a cool idea around it.
It would be crazy if Jay's actually the one that basically begins his downfall. Maybe Juice is in a bit of a rut (like he is in right now wink wink) and Jay asks if Gedo could keep an eye on Juice during matches he isn't a part of. Gedo actually ends up helping and Juice and him become friends. Juice starts doing well and Jay doesn't really notice how close Gedo and Juice have become because he is too focused on his next title defence, it's too late now as he's being punched in the face because he lost big time.
Oh and David comes out with a gaggle of faces to save Jay and that begins the 'FinJay rekindle their friendship' storyline. This storyline also contains Jay very awkwardly interacting with every face/tweener ever because he's fucked with all of them. It also contains him shaving his beard.

New WBC World Featherweight Champion plots path to undisputed titles after Las Vegas victory
A sensational Skye Nicolson rolled the dice in Las Vegas and made it a perfect ten to become the new WBC World Featherweight Champion by beating Sarah Mahfoud on Saturday.   Now promoter Eddie Hearn wants Australia’s new boxing queen to reap the rewards of her crowning glory and embark on a huge homecoming defense Down Under.   It was total domination for Nicolson (10-0, 1 KO) at the five-star Fontainebleau Las Vegas Resort as she captured the coveted green and gold belt with a unanimous points victory, with scores of 100-90, 100-90 and 99-91 – over former IBF holder Mahfoud.   And by doing so the 28-year-old star restored Aussie pride and broke the Sin City hoodoo after compatriots Tim Tszyu and Michael Zerafa lost recently.   Matchroom Sport chairman Hearn revealed he is planning talks with Australian authorities as early as this week in a bid to deliver Nicolson’s return – before targeting huge fights with the likes of mandatory WBC challenger Raven Chapman and division ruler Amanda Serrano later this year.   “I now need to speak to people in Australia because she needs that homecoming defence quite quickly,” said Hearn, speaking to Matchroom Boxing’s YouTube channel.    "Skye barely broke sweat in there. She was very impressive, and loads more to come from her. I didn’t give Mahfoud a round, but one judge did.   "I think you’re only seeing 20% of Skye Nicolson. I’ve seen her train and I’ve watched her spar where she’s hurting girls repeatedly. But how can you criticize her when she’s beating the No.2 ranked featherweight in the world in a mismatch?    "We all want excitement, and I want to see her letting her hands go a bit more and stopping people. I know it’s there, and I know she can do it.    "But she’s winning so easily, and her style is a nightmare for people. That’s why people like [Amanda] Serrano don’t really want to take the fight until the money is out of control because it is high risk. Her feet, her movement is really good and if she can start letting her hands go – because she can punch – then she’s going to be even more tough to beat."   With an immediate world title defence Down Under being Hearn’s preference for Matchroom’s latest World Champion, he admitted a massive Matchroom vs. Queensberry fight could be in the works too against Chapman.   "Raven Chapman is the mandatory and that’s the fight I’ll speak to George Warren about because there will be another 5-v-5 later on in the year – and it’s exactly the sort of fight we should be looking to put on,” he added.    “To beat Sarah Mahfoud far more convincingly than Amanda Serrano did is a major statement.    "Skye’s doing what any champion should do and that is to chase the very best in their division – and for her right now it is Amanda Serrano.    "I want to see her make a homecoming defence, then fight Raven Chapman and then hopefully the fight with Amanda Serrano becomes big enough for her to accept."   Nicolson is now Australia’s second current reigning World Champion alongside Matchroom’s king of the Cruiserweights, Jai Opetaia.   “It sounds pretty good, I really do like the sound of it,” she said.   “When I heard my name being read out as the winner, it was exactly how I imagined it and how I’ve played it out in my mind leading up to the fight. It was very special.    “But it’s not the pinnacle for me. I know this is the first of many – and there will be many more and I’m very excited for where I’m headed.    “With [Amanda] Serrano, it’s nothing personal. If you don’t want to fight me, then that’s fine. But let us know what you’re doing with all the belts because I want them. But if you do want to fight, I’m ready when you are.   “It would be a dream come true to fight in Australia, especially in Brisbane or the Gold Coast. I’m a Queensland girl through and through.  "To bring the World Title to my home country and fight in front of all my family and friends would be amazing – and the start of a really special journey. I’m a true blue Aussie and it would mean absolutely everything to me."

Stable Libbok exhibits class to spare Stormers blushes in wet draw with Osrpeys
Manie Libbok. (Picture by Chris Fairweather/Huw Evans Company/Gallo Pictures) Whereas they will not be miffed by the consequence, the Stormers’ post-title bubble was undeniably pricked after they had been held to a 16-all draw by Ospreys in Friday evening’s gritty URC encounter in Swansea. It is debatable whether or not the gutsy, if restricted, hosts deserved to stroll away with the spoils – they loved the bulk possession and territory – however authentic questions will be requested of the defending champions’ present skill to tweak their skilful, fluent recreation in direction of a extra percentage-based one when the going will get robust. RECAP | URC – Ospreys v Stormers And, on an evening the place the situations had been atrocious, they lacked the self-discipline and ahead momentum to take action. The Stormers’ entrance row struggled to achieve parity at scrum-time, whereas the thrilling free trio of Evan Roos, Hacjivah Dayimani and Nama Xaba had been stored quiet and may even have been accused of being nameless at sure levels. Nevertheless, there was one shining gentle.   If Manie Libbok goes to be a wildcard choice for the Springboks on their tour to Europe subsequent month, his displaying would’ve performed his trigger no hurt. The compact pivot was an instrumental presence for the defending champions, executing every little thing that was required of him properly and, basically, proving the participant that stored the Stormers within the recreation. Some will query whether or not that is truly information given his super development as a participant since becoming a member of the Capetonians, however what was eye-catching about this efficiency was that Libbok did so on an evening when the rain bucketed down, rendering passing a lottery and when he did not have the luxurious of a pack granting him a platform. That he stood up so properly suggests he may certainly have the temperament for Check rugby. Libbok’s goal-kicking was flawless and it was his imaginative and prescient that led to the Stormers’ sole attempt. Following a bout of aerial ping-pong, alternative Steven Kitshoff carried vigorously earlier than halfback Paul de Moist cleared nearly wildly from the breakdown however managed to seek out his accomplice. Sensing a possibility, Libbok ran a delicate angle after which gave a scissor go to Leolin Zas, who broke the road and made the scoring go to De Moist. It was a superb illustration of the Stormers’ enduring skill to additionally maintain the scoreboard ticking from scraps. Libbok may’ve even been his facet’s hero had his drop-goal try within the closing minute not gone large. In the meantime, Ospreys – as one would most likely count on – appeared much more at house within the situations, They’d battled to get out of their very own half within the first quarter because the Stormers monopolised possession with out displaying any punch. However as they began to achieve the higher hand on the set-piece, so did their confidence develop. There was a gilt-edged alternative late within the first half when centre Mike Collins was freed up, solely to be stifled by some excellent Stormers defence – one of many guests’ highlights of their displaying – and a knock-on by wing Keelan Giles with the road at his mercy. Given their superior initiative, it was unsurprising that the Stormers would give them scoring alternatives, which flyhalf Steve Myler gleefully accepted together with his correct boot. That morphed right into a deserved maul attempt for hooker Scott Baldwin in a while, however a winner could not be discovered.  Level scorers: Ospreys – (3) Attempt: Scott Baldwin Conversion: Steve Myler Penalties: Myler (3) Stormers – (6) Attempt: Paul de Moist Conversion: Manie Libbok Penalties: Libbok (2) Originally published at Irvine News HQ

While airborne, Atikato will plunge to the ground together with his sword, dealing Physichal DMG to any enemies in the area hit.
Elemental Skill: Nenshon Ken
The Hinoken given to Atikato as he was titled is a relic he has promised to use for good, but certain conflicts ends up in more than just an arguement.
Press
Stab a Steel Of Fire into the ground, dealing AoE Pyro DMG. While the Steel Of Fire is in the ground, it will resonate, dealing constant AoE Pyro DMG every 1s, and Atikato will have increased Movement and Attack Speed.
Hold
Atikato will stab and hold a Steel Of Fire into the ground, and deal constant Pyro DoT every 0.2s, and additional Physichal DMG will be dealt at the end of the skill. During this skill, you will be immobilized.
Shichu Art: Torrential Ashes (Locked until Second Passive Talent: Torrential Fireguard)
Descend into the ground with Torrential Fire that affects any living being with Pyro if they touch Atikato in his Torrential Ashes.
The torrents of ashes that flows in the empty, shallow Mare Jivari shall return once again to their guard, Tsudikomei Atikato: The Ashen Guard.
Elemental Burst: Great Art: Yogan Rain
With all his might, Atikato grasps the might of the Ashen Guard spirit, and punches the ground and makes an Yogan Han'i.
Yogan Han'i
The Yogan Han'i increases the current characters Max HP based off of a certain percentage of Atikato's Max HP.
The Yogan Han'i will also rain Ashen Droplets, which deals contionous Pyro DMG. Ashen Droplets will deal 200% extra Vaporize DMG. The Yogan Han'i will also heal characters for 2500 every 2.5s while the area is active.
First Passive Talent: Dokuritsu Sword
While in the Yogan Han'i, Atikato will gain a stack of Springsteal every 3s.
Springsteal stacks increases Normal and Charged Attack DMG by 7%. Atikato can hold up to 5 Springsteal stacks, and he can gain up to 35 Normal and Charged Attack DMG Bonus through these Springsteal stacks.
Second Passive Talent: Torrential Fireguard
Instead of sprinting, Atikato will now use an Alternate Sprint: Shichu Art: Torrential Ashes to sprint.
When going out of Torrential Ashes, Atikato will gain 25 Stamina, and his Normal Attack DMG will be increased by 20%. This effect can only appear every 7s.
Third Passive Talent: Tidereaper
All Movement SPD (including Alternate Spints) is increased by 20%.
Constellation 1: Fire And Ashes, Heed My Call
When Atikato deals Pyro DMG, he will gain a Ignis. Only one Ignis can be held at a time. An Ignis increases HP by 10%, and any Pyro DMG done while having an Ignis, will charge up the Ignis. When the Ignis has been charged up fully (10 counts of Pyro DMG), or after 30s of gaining the Ignis, it will create an Kogeta Han'i, which will only increase the HP of the current character by 5% for every charge that was put into. The maximum amount of HP increases that can be done by an Ignis is 50%.
Constelletion 2: Vigorous Defence
Increase Atikato's ATK by 1.26% and his DEF by 2.2% of his current HP.
Constellation 3: Power Within
When Atikato has takes lethal DMG that causes him to fall to 50% of his own HP, he will gain a Cindershield. The Cindershield is indestructible, protecting Atikato and lasts for 8s. Cindershields can only occur every 3m.
Constellation 4: Fukanzen Verity
When a Steel Of Fire is in the ground, Atikato will have now 40% increased Movement Speed instead of 20%, and Normal Attacks will have an additional instance of 50% Pyro DMG which lasts while the Steel Of Fire is in the ground.
Constellation 5: Heir Of A Throne
Atikato gains a Pyro DMG Bonus equal to 0.2% of his HP, or gives everyone else 200 Elemental Mastery when they enter an Yogan Han'i or an Kogeta Han'i
Constellation 6: A Danger Yet To Come
Springsteal stacks now give 14% increased Normal Attack DMG bonus instead of 7%. Max Normal Attack DMG Bonus is now 70%.
Atikato's Story
The heir to the Tsudikomei throne, exiled for his crimes, banished to suffer for eons as the Ashen Guard, one of the Seven Guards Of Aggregation.
As Ashen Guard, he uses his powers to protect the Ley Lines, together with the rest of the Guards Of Aggregation.
The eons yet to come has yet to crack Atikato, and it doesn't seem like he has more much left.
His sister is his polar opposite. Anahae is swift, responsible and clean. Atikato is compulsive, unreasonable and introverted. Therefore he isn't well trusted, or has any friends for himself.
Well, that was it for Atikato! I hope you liked him! Here is some fanart !! NOT MINE !! that i found on the internet:

Don't fall in love with me
Part 2/5
Part 1
Tumblr media
Lol the formats changed
Not proof read :)
Summary: 3 weeks until double for noithing and the tensions for the winner takes it all match is increasing when Y/N interrupts Tay and Sammy vs the Butcher and the Bunny. But when a aguement breaks out between MJF and Y/N, they both find themselves saying things they don't want to
And don't mean in the slightest.
WARNINGS:
ANGST(Kinda)
MJF's POV
It's been a week since the channege was issued for the winner takes it all match and I'm beginning to worry. I mean Warldow can only interfere when I'm in the ring and by the looks of things I'm not planning of being in there long. I'm not stuiped.
Sure Y/N might cheat but she's dam good when she dose it properly and i suppose she's in the same situation where its difficult to cheat.
I am snapped out of my thoughts when i hear a nock on my dressing room door.
"Who is it?"
I shout from my sofa
"Shawn"
I get up and open the door, he wearing one of his suits and holding a char in his left hand.
"Do you always carry that around?"
"Yeah"
Silence fills the doorway until I finally decide to break it, I don't have freinds but Shawn is the closets I have.
"So you came to show me your chair or.."
"Well.. iv come to tell you there had been uh, talk in the Pinicle"
"Talk? What talk iv been here"
"Well.. uh you see with the situation last week"
"What situation?"
"You know" He brings his voice down to a whisper
"Y/N"
"What? What about it dont you see! She'll do all the work, if we win then Tay leaves her alone and I will the TNT championship! It's a win win senorio. Plus I have noithing to lose, she dose so I'm assuming she'll go for it and-"
"See that it"
He had a smile on his face, what the idiot smiling about I said nothing but the truth
"Your getting defence and, quite frankly the Pinicle is worried you'll go weak with this arrangement"
I do noithing but shit the door on him. How dare they.
It wasn't even my idea, it the best situation for both of us and for ME ,its the best situation for ME not US. I said that there is no us there is only her and me and her and me are going to win, no matter what they say.
Y/Ns POV
Again I watch AEW live dynamite from my dressing room as Tay and Sammy take on the Butcher and the Bunny. I contemplate sabotageing the match bit my mind keeps driving to Max.Not on a weird way or anyhing, just in a respectfull way.
I respect his demour and the way he carries himself, he has a good work ethics witch is of someone else can do it do get them to do it. Something I am hoping to use at Double or Noithing.
Yes I plan to just letting Max do a the work, so what.
I watch as Sammy and The Butcher go toe to toe with Tay in the ring corner. I decide
'Fuck it' and grab my title and walk out to ring, ignoring the production team and they don't bother to play my music. I walk out the ring as the crowed boos.
"What are you doing?"
Tay screams at me, at this point Sammy is trying to keep her from attempting to attacking me witch deep down we both know I would win the fight. Thus gives the Butcher the opportunity to pin sammy from behind, causing him and the Bunny to win. I have never really talked to the Bunny but she nods in my direction as if to thank me. I'll make sure to remember that she owns me one. Tay makes her way to me and I drop my belt and we are going st eagcouthet, one punch then another until I go for a kick in her mid section, she falls back go until I feel a arm holding me back, I turn to see Max
WHAT
That my internal diolage, its all what's. We had a agreement better yet HE MADE the agreement, why is her oit here stopping me from attacking OUR opnsionint. I shout at his, his face remains clam something not many people have seen him be. I give up and pick up my belt as this time the music plays. I walk out but facing Max for a little while before he going me, we both walk out. I find myself in the same situation where I was at revolution, I watch as Sammy rushes over to Tay side. I quickly realise I'm starting and walk through the tunnel. I realise Max Isn’t following me but he quickly joins backstage.
"What the hell?"
You shouted st MJF. The production team turned there heads and out of the conor of my eye I sore a interview xome up but I coundt be arsed with that now.
"Look I know ypur angry bu-"
"ANGRY? you and no tight to come out there that wad my battle! And you said it yourself we are not friends or alias or anthing like that OK?"
"Ok-Ok but listen to me"
"Lieten to you? You are so full of yourself you cant even think for one second how your actions affect outhers?"
"Me? I'm selfish !? look sweetheart what I did out there was a favour and I think you cant take it that I'm right, if you got into the brawl you know thay you woudnt have kne, somewhere seep down inside you know that you arnt good enough you-"
I had enough. I turn my back on him and storm out, I push past people and my only goal is the make it to my locker room. When I get there I nearly break the door opening it.
I stom into my dressing room and compare and the couch and I do the unthinkable
I cry.
The closest thing I have don't tk crying in years is making others cry and sure I felt guilt but that's internal.
I dont know why Max's words hurt as much as they did, maybe it's because deep down I wanted up to become friends but I cry sad cry. It could have been 2 minits or 2 hours, I don't know but I hesr a knock on my door. I'm assuming it's someone coming yo yell at me nore about the sence I caused just to minutes ago so I collect myself and go open the door.
"Hey"
MJFs POV:
I stood opposite Y/N as they obviously try to collect thenselves from what I'm assmung crying. It's weird seeting someone who had built so much of a reputation on being the bad one and the emotionless one break down right in front of you. It's even worse when it's all your fault, I just didn't want them to get hurt. For our match of course.
I mean I plan on doing no work at all at double or noithing and I need to be able to trust Y/N with winning.
We stood in a awqaurd slince befor y/n spoke up
"What do you want"
I dont even know what I want.
I don't want to apologise that would ruin my persona.
I don't want to make things worse than would.. I dont know but I huts don't want to make things worse.
"I want.. to uh talk to you"
"What about? About how I'm a failure? About how I'm not strong enough? Trust me you can day whaterver you want because I have heard much MUCH worse"
At this point they had let all their emotions go. I feel guilt. Also fear. I dont know what to do in these sort of situations.
"Who told you that"
I realize my voice has gotten softer and my demour is down but there's no cameras, I hope not anyways.
"Apart from you"
She let's out a chuckled something I have never seen her do before. I wish I had gor some reason
"Um, my pertants, everyone I knew at school, my brother and uh.. myself"
"You know"
Holy shit am I about to open up to someone I bearly know
Maybe I have gone soft.
I cant go soft.
This isn't me this us the guilt talking.
"They were right"

young dumb thrills
Day 26, Post #2 by @accio-broom
Title: young dumb thrills Author/Artist: accio-broom Pairing: Gryffindor pals Prompt: Studying together Rating: T Trigger Warning(s) (if any): Ron likes to swear, a lot. Also, the lads enjoy not speaking very nicely about the women in their year.
“Merlin, this potions essay is a pile of wank. I'm so fucking bored.”
Seamus snaps his book shut, his Irish lilt filling the dorm room and disturbing the peace. Until the rude intrusion, Ron had been attempting to write a Transfiguration essay on the benefits of Non-verbal spells, although he was struggling without Hermione’s usual help.
Four heads, belonging to the various bodies strewn around the place, lift from their books and parchment. The sixth-year Gryffindors throw frowns and obscenities at their friend.
“Well, it was your idea for us to do something together,” Dean comments, letting his head loll to the side to rest on his arms, his eyes closing.
“Yeah, but when I suggested it, I had a night of debauchery and booze on my mind. Not being shut up here on a Friday night.”
Ron laughs and abandons his parchment on the bedroom floor. He rolls off his tummy then wriggles into a sitting position, his back flush against his trunk. It allows him a better view of his dorm mates.
Seamus is sat up in his bed, resting against the headboard, his now shut Potions book by his feet. Dean sits in one of the window seats whilst Neville is perched next to his bedside table, crooning at his Mimbulus Mimbletonia. Harry is in one of the cosy armchairs next to the fire, switching his obsessive gaze between the Marauder’s Map and the Half-Blood Prince’s Potions book.
“Debauchery?” Ron scoffs. “What kind of stuff did you think we’d be getting up to stuck in Gryffindor tower? You tried sneaking in the Firewhisky, but you were thick enough to let Filch catch you. McGonagall has got us on lockdown because of you, and we can’t even sneak out the window for a fly ‘cos it’s pissing down outside.”
Frowning, Seamus retorts, “At least I tried. Anyways, you and Potter don’t seem to have any difficulties getting yourselves into trouble, despite the rules and detentions and any other fucking thing the staff throw at you.”
Harry, who has been a silent observer up until now, finally pipes up, “You know, I’d gladly trade places with you, Seamus, if it means getting a quiet year without Voldemort trying to kill me.”
The other four boys shudder at Harry’s use of You-Know-Who’s real name. Once he has recovered, Seamus waves a dismissive hand before flopping down onto his stomach.
“Yeah, yeah. We all know that Voldie prefers to wait until the end of the year before trying to kill you. You could at least enjoy yourself up until then.” A heavy sigh escapes his lips. “How did it come to this, lads? We're all virile, good looking fellas. Well, apart from Nev. Yet, here we are on a Friday night, with only each other for company.”
“Oi!” Neville frowns, swivelling to face his friends with his hands on his hips. “At least I managed to get a date for the Yule Ball. Dean didn’t go with anyone.”
“Yeah, but I have a girlfriend now.”
Dean’s cheeks darken as Ron’s eyes narrow. The redhead’s stomach churns. Sure, he’s adjusted to catching Dean snogging his sister in the common room now, but it doesn’t mean he enjoys it. He knows the type of stuff Dean gets up to, the sort of things he says behind closed doors. He’d rather Ginny didn’t get involved with a guy like Dean, but Ron knows it’s out of his control.
“Out of all of us,” Dean continues, “It’s only Weasley and me who have birds.”
“Yeah, that’s right,” Ron joins in, mostly to distract himself from his overprotective urges. Ginny is more than capable of looking after herself, and she’s told him enough fucking times, too. “And I could be downstairs with Lav right now, but you were so adamant that we were going to have a good night. Anyway, you can take the piss out of Neville all you want, but I bet you haven’t even snogged a girl, Seamus.”
The Irish Gryffindor’s eyes brighten with glee. “Yeah, I have. Your girl.”
Ron isn’t surprised at the emptiness he feels at the jibe. His feelings for Lavender fizzled out ages ago, and he’s been trying to finish things for weeks. The only problem is he can’t seem to say or do the right thing to scare her away. He should probably come out and say it, try this honesty thing Hermione is always harping about, but Ron likes his balls attached to his body. Plus, it’s kind of nice having a girlfriend and feeling like someone wants him.
Still, he has to keep up appearances. He reaches behind his trunk and fishes out one of his trainers from under his bed before hurling it at Seamus. The guy moves fast, rolling to the side to avoid being hit in the head as he bursts out laughing.
“And a good kisser she is too,” he adds.
“Who do you reckon is the best snogger out of the whole of Gryffindor?” Dean muses.
Ron mutters, “Aren’t you still dating my sister, Dean?”
He knows his anger is irrational, Dean has done nothing wrong, but the images of the guy snogging Ginny then moving on to the next girl to compare them fills his brain, making him feel sick.
Seamus interrupts, still laughing. “For the guys? Then it’s me for sure. But I don’t know who’s the best out of the girls. I’ve snogged quite a lot of them. Some of them are amazing, and others are shit.”
“Fuck off have you,” Dean laughs too. “You’ve snogged Lavender, and that’s it.”
“Nah, I’m being honest with you. Weasley turned me down. It’s only her and Granger I haven’t snogged, truth be told.”
Ron sits bolt upright, all his fury at Dean forgotten as his heart pounds an irregular beat against his ribcage. However, he tries to arrange his face into a calm look. A few times, his secret crush on Hermione has almost been exposed, mostly via mutterings in his sleep. But so far, he’s managed to keep a firm lid on it, or so he believes.
“I don’t think Hermione has snogged anyone,” says Neville.
Dean shakes his head. “I’d put five knuts on her having snogged someone. She went to the Yule Ball with Viktor Krum, after all.”
“Doesn’t mean she kissed him.” Seamus shrugs.
Harry pipes up again. “She did.” He blushes as all eyes settle on him. “Only a small one, though.”
The rest of the room erupts in fits of laughter, but Ron can’t hear it over the roar of his heart in his ears. He digs his fingernails into his leg, ignoring the flare of pain as they break the skin. So, Harry knows that Hermione snogged Vicky, too? How many people did Hermione tell? How the fuck could his best friend keep something like this from him? Why hasn’t anybody told him?
Out of the corner of his eye, Ron can see that Harry is staring at him, but he refuses to meet the git’s gaze. His blood boils around his veins.
“She must be a good kisser then if she managed to keep Krum interested. Not exactly a looker, is she?” says Seamus, in between giggles.
Ron whips his head around to glare at Harry. Despite instigating this latest uproar, the specky git does nothing to stick up for their best friend. Their dorm mates are tearing apart Hermione’s honour right now, but Harry already has his nose buried back in that fucking map, tracing Draco’s path through the school. Harry is bloody obsessed with the Slytherin prick. He probably fucking fancies him.
“You can barely even see she has boobs when she’s in her jumper,” Dean agrees.
“Yeah, and don’t get me started on her hair.”
Neville frowns. “Now, come on, guys. I think you’re being a bit mean. Hermione’s alright.”
“Oohhh, she’s alright, is she?” Seamus rounds on Neville now.
Dean joins in, wiping his eyes. “Aww, that’s nice. At least someone likes her.”
No longer in control of his reactions, Ron jumps to his feet, trembling hands clenched at his sides.
“Enough!” he roars, loud enough so that everyone has their attention pinned on him. “Leave her alone! What the fuck has she ever done to you?” He gestures around the dormitory, daring any of them to speak up. “Don’t get her involved in your bullshit talk.”
“Oh, so it’s alright for us to discuss snogging your girlfriend, but not Hermione Granger?” Seamus slides off his bed, squaring up to Ron. “You need to work out where your loyalties lie. If Lavender found out, she wouldn’t be pleased.”
Ron eyes his friend, trying to determine if he should punch him. After a moment’s deliberation, he decides it’s not worth it. Ron is a prefect and is supposed to be setting a good example. Plus, there’d probably be a fight, and he isn’t sure he has the energy for that tonight. Seamus has a good right hook, after all.
“Fuck off.” Ron pushes past Seamus and strides towards the door, yanking it open. He leaves the dormitory without looking back, pulling the door closed behind him so hard, he’s sure everyone in Hogsmeade can hear the resounding thunk. The dormitory bursts into another round of hysterical laughter, fuelling Ron’s rage.
Taking the stairs two at a time, he reaches the common room with a loud huff, only to meet a startled Hermione at the foot of the staircase. Ron’s face floods with heat as she eyes him up and down, a disparaging look on her face.
“Ron, wh—”
He doesn’t give her the chance to finish her question.
“Leave me alone.”
Stomping towards the portrait hole, Ron barks at the Fat Lady to open without saying please, before heading out. He picks a random direction, then walks.
Fuck the lot of them.
Fuck his friends for being dicks about Hermione and girls in general. No wonder Harry wanted to keep out of it all. And fuck that specky git for not jumping to Hermione’s defence. Fuck Hermione for choosing now to break her months of silence, only to piss him off even more. But most of all, fuck his fucking feelings for making him react so defensively about the fucking witch in the first place.
He’s never going to live this down, for fuck’s sake.

Joshua & Fury: reading of the resumes.
You can’t read any discussion about Anthony Joshua for long without seeing reference to his resume. The resume is usually brought up as the first line of defence to any criticism slung his way, and is perhaps the only line of attack that is still being used by AJ fans as to why their man still deserves more credit and praise than Tyson Fury.
The resume line is used by noone more than Eddie Hearn, who mentions it before every fight, after every fight, win or lose. The names by now reel off his tongue, and near everyone from what I have seen is in complete agreement that AJ has put together one hell of a record.
This has always somewhat baffled me, and I will explore why here. First of all since April 2016, every fight he’s had has been a World title fight. His last 8 fights have been for 3 organisation’s belts. When you are the champion of those 3 organisations, you will have to fight decent fighters, to justify you holding onto so many belts. Also these organisations want you to face their mandatory challenger now and then, the chances are someone ranked #1 will be a pretty good fighter. Does a unified World Heavyweight champion really deserve so much credit for fighting fairly solid opponents?
Comparison is often made to Wilder’s defences for example, and for sure it does seem that Wilder is a bit of a flat track bully, who didn’t seem to particularly mind some easy knockouts over less than stellar opposition. Though it still remains hard to fairly compare his level of opponents to Joshua’s. Joshua gets bigger crowds than anyone in world boxing, he’s for years now sold out big stadiums in a matter of hours, he’s simply one of the biggest stars in boxing with huge PPV numbers. This to say, they can afford to pay opponents big money. The big money that is required for a credible opponent. I don’t think that has always been the case for Wilder, who himself was not getting anything like big money until having been World Champion for a while, let alone his opponent.
This is not to completely excuse Wilder, the fact an agreement was never reached to fight Dillian Whyte in all the time he was mandatory challenger, its quite bizarre to me why Wilder seemingly did not ever fancy that fight. And I do think that unlike Wilder, AJ has and always will be willing to face anyone, be it Wilder, Fury, I don’t think him a coward or someone who would doubt himself enough to not fancy them fights.
The reason for the AJ-Wilder fight never materialising whilst both were champion, I don’t believe was down to AJ himself, though I believe its possible his team and promoter wanted to keep him away from Wilder for a little longer, to further build up his experience. But for Wilder’s part, I never got the impression he was particularly falling over himself to get the fight either.
I digress, but the point is that though I believe AJ has been more up for a challenge and a real fight than Wilder has, it’s not quite as simple as just looking at who their opponents have been for defences and not including the context.
The most common comparison presumably in the whole of boxing is AJ’s resume against Tyson Fury’s. As stated earlier, this is often something used by AJ fans, and Fury’s resume is the one main critique levelled against him by virtually everyone who wishes to put him down.
Again, it often seems a little without context. A man who has defended or attempted to defend his world title 9 times is always likely to have fought more decent fighters than someone who has never defended before, that seems obvious. Fury is mocked for never having attempted a World title defence, (aside from the fact its not really his fault from a boxing standpoint that he was unable to defend his belt for 2 years due to being side-lined from the ring for medical issues, nor was it his fault he was robbed by judges in Los Angeles in his first fight with Wilder, therefore delaying his ability to make a first defence) and yet also mocked for a supposedly weak resume, when the two things kind of go together as one rather explains the other. Your resume is unlikely to be great without a world title defence.
Looking at Fury’s resume, his best opponent prior to fighting for the World title was Chisora. Now the fact is, this was already not a great time for Heavyweight boxing, swathes of very average Heavyweights were getting the chance to lose to the Klitschko’s, so it shouldn’t be too surprising Fury didn’t have to fight off many stern challenges to become the top contender. One challenge could have been former Cruiserweight and Heavyweight World Champion David Haye, again not really Fury’s fault Haye pulled out of the fight twice. One man he did face though was Chisora, who in their first fight was 14-0 and 27 years old. The 22-year old Fury went into the fight as the underdog. They fought again 3 years later, inbetween these bouts Chisora became one of only 4 men to lose to Vitali Klitschko without being stopped.
Chisora is regarded as a journeyman for the 11 losses on his record, but the fact is nobody has ever had an easy night with him, barring Fury in their rematch. Chisora arguably won a very close first fight with Whyte, and was having another very close fight with him in the rematch before Whyte found a great knockout in the 11th, Usyk did not shine against him in the same way he did against Bellew and Joshua, and he was very unlucky to not win a decision against former World Champion Joseph Parker. Not bad for a journeyman. But Fury certainly made him look like a journeyman in their second fight, showing exactly how a big man should fight against a little man, he didn’t let Chisora lay a glove on him and beat him up all night until Chisora’s trainer finally took mercy on him and pulled him out after 10 brutally one-sided rounds.
Tumblr media
The next ‘name’ on Tyson’s resume is Wladimir Klitschko, who was on a run of 19 successful wins in World title fights, and hadn’t lost for 11 years. On the Champions adopted home patch of Germany, Fury won a unanimous decision infront of 50,000 Klitschko supporters, to give the Ukrainian his only defeat by decision in 69 fights. Not a bad win I suppose.
Often used to mock Fury’s resume is the name ‘Sefer Seferi’ and yes the fight was a joke and a bit of a waste of time, but it was Fury’s first fight for 2 and a half years, yes he could have fought someone a bit better ofcourse, but I don’t think it would have been wise to fight anyone fans would consider a decent fighter on his very first step on the comeback trail. 2 months later was Pianeta, again I don’t think it’s that surprising that when you’re fighting for the second time in 3 months after a long absence, and your plan is to fight for the World title less than 4 months later, that the level of opponent you’re facing is not that high, that seems to be fairly logical. I think facing Deontay Wilder for the WBC title just 6 months into the comeback made up for it in fairness.
Tumblr media
Going into their first fight, Wilder had faced 40 men and knocked them all out. It’s fashionable now after the beating Fury gave him in the rematch to dismiss Wilder as a bum, a never-was. But it’s simply not true. He’s 6 foot 7, incredibly heavy-handed with one of the most concussive punches in Heavyweight history. Fury fought him in his prime after the best win of Wilder’s career, an 8 round stoppage of Luis Ortiz, who at the time was for sure a worthy contender. Fury himself was 6 months back after a 2 and a half year absence, mostly spent trying to damage his body to the same extent his mind was damaged. After outboxing him for 9 rounds, Fury picked himself off the canvas to box his head off some more, until in the 12th round Wilder landed one of the hardest and best 2-punch combos he’s ever thrown. One of the only true knockout punches ever landed to somehow not result in a knockout. Fury won the fight but as we know was robbed and given a draw.
Between this fight and the rematch, Fury is again mocked for the two names he fought inbetween. Tom Schwarz and Otto Wallin. First of all it was kinda strange why these 2 fights were even necessary and they didn’t just do an immediate rematch, or even 1 fight inbetween, 2 seemed excessive. But financially it worked out great for both men, Wilder who was able to cash in for 2 more fights as Champion, and for Fury he could get into a run of real activity which helped him immensely for the rematch with Wilder. Schwarz was rolled over as expected, but Wallin inflicted 2 huge cuts on Tyson which left him fighting nearly the whole fight with only 1 eye, still winning nearly every round. Which is surely quite impressive, given Wallin is now deemed by Hearn a highly credible opponent for Whyte, one of the division’s top fighters.
Tumblr media
In the Wilder rematch, Fury produced what was I think the best performance by a Heavyweight this century. He did what noone thought he could do, which was bully the bully, beating him with power not just cunning. As I said, now Fury has done it so easily, people will talk about how Wilder was rubbish all along, never beat anyone etc. but if anyone thinks AJ or Whyte or anyone else would just as easily stand up to Wilder’s power, speed and explosiveness, I think they are very mistaken. Whether Wilder will be the same fighter with his air of invincibility shattered after defeat remains to be seen, but it would be great to see him in the ring against Britain’s other top fighters. My prediction is, it would see Fury’s win and performance elevated even further.
Fury now faces Wilder for a third time, and whilst I like most consider it a shame Fury wasn’t able to move onto new challenges, if he wins, it’s another excellent win. I don’t consider it any easier than a fight against AJ would be. It’s true that AJ is a better boxer than Wilder, but still vastly inferior to Tyson, so I don’t see how he provides much greater threat from a boxing standpoint, he’s not going to outbox Fury in a million years. So the only threat to Tyson posed is power, Wilder has a higher KO % than AJ despite fighting nearly 20 more times, lets his hands go more, hits harder, is more dangerous with a single shot than AJ, so therefore I feel the most dangerous fighter to Fury, as he himself has said many times, remains *to this day* Deontay Wilder.

Now to really the point of the article, Joshua’s resume. After amassing 14 knockouts in 14 fights, all coming in the 3rd round or sooner, the Olympic Gold Medallist had become Britain’s most talked about and hyped prospect ever. His 15th opponent was Dillian Whyte, a 16-0 fighter with 13KO’s. Whyte has since gone on to garner a deserved reputation as one of the division’s toughest and respectable fighters, but that’s now. Going into when AJ actually fought him, he had faced absolutely nobody. He had 6 amateur bouts including a win over AJ, moved to kickboxing, came back to boxing and had 9 pro fights before being banned for drugs. Whyte was out the ring for 2 years, had 5 fights back then fought Joshua.
So at the time of the fight there is no doubt that whilst AJ was seen as a future World Champion, Whyte was not seen as anything of the sort, just an ‘opponent’ there for AJ to get another fast and emphatic knockout. The emphatic knockout came but not before experiencing adversity for the first time, as in fight number 15 of his career AJ faced someone who could take his leather and land some of his own, before succumbing in the 7th. Despite the rawness of Whyte, he still had enough heart and talent to provide Anthony with his first career test.
Tumblr media
Next fight, AJ fought for the World title, facing what most regard as a terrible World Champion, Charles Martin. He may have walked this earth like a God, but he fought in the ring like a Big Bum Dosser, against AJ anyway, who took him apart in 2 rounds. Martin appeared for all the world like a man woefully out of his depth, dutifully accepting his beating for a good payday. A win over Gerald Washington has since seen an attempt at the rehabilitation of Martin’s image from Eddie Hearn no less, who now lists the conquest of this man as proof of AJ’s greatness, who next Gary Cornish?
AJ made his first World title defence of his IBF crown against Dominic Breazeale, who was at the time ranked #13 with the organisation. Joshua won in the 7th round. His second defence was against Eric Molina, who AJ dispached in 3 rounds. Another 2 men recently listed by Hearn to demonstrate AJ’s strong resume. In the same interview, he criticised Wilder for having beat noone..except he’s also knocked out both Breazeale (in 43 seconds) & Molina. A decision win over Breazeale was also enough to show Hearn that Wallin was a worthy PPV  opponent for Whyte, so are they good wins or not? I’m not sure, I guess it depends on who we’re talking about, AJ or Wilder.
Tumblr media
Next up saw AJ transition into a UK stadium fighter when he met Wladimir Klitschko at Wembley Stadium to attempt to add more belts to his collection that had recently been vacated by Fury. Having been soundly beaten by The Gypsy King, Klitschko had gone from 39 to 41. The feeling for a lot in the UK at the time was, it’s a good time to beat a good name to earn some credibility against an old, past it champion. That looked to be the case when AJ dropped Wlad in the 5th but there was still some life in the old dog yet when the very next round AJ hit the canvas for the first time in his career. Wlad took control of the fight with AJ struggling for a second wind having used up a lot of energy, with stamina issues affecting the 250-pounder. There was a few rounds where AJ was too tired, not throwing, concentrating everything on trying to recuperate, that you’d think Klitschko could have stepped it up and gone for the finish.  Whether age stopped Klitschko from pushing on the gas or he felt confident he could see out a decision, he didn’t do it and AJ found the best punch and single moment of his career in the 11th with a huge uppercut which signalled the end of Wlad’s chances. It was a great fight which AJ did very well to win, but it had been by the skin of his teeth.
After Pulev pulled out of their proposed fight, Carlos Takam stepped in as a late replacement. Given the lack of time, this wasn’t a terrible replacement, he is tough and comes to fight, ensuring the fans will atleast get to see a few rounds. But he has lost to every name fighter he’s faced, including Journeyman Chisora. So Chisora isn’t a good name on Fury’s record, because he loses to every good fighter he faces, but Takam is a solid name on AJ’s record, despite the fact he was knocked out by Chisora. It’s all very confusing.
To hold 4 belts, AJ then faced Joseph Parker, the holder of the WBO title, winning the vacant belt with a home decision against some chubby kid, Andy Ruiz. At the time, Parker had a very good reputation, but the fight was a stinker, with AJ disappointing his legion of fans as he was taken the distance for the first time. Parker has since lost to Whyte and in my opinion deserved a draw at best with Chisora having been dropped in the first round, and now will have to fight a rematch for a more emphatic win. Since the AJ fight, he’s looked a fairly average heavyweight, seemingly quite lucky to have ever held the World title, having not done anything since to make anyone believe he could ever hold it again.
The next defence came against the small and light for a heavyweight 39-year old Alex Povetkin. Looking at him, not much of a threat would perhaps be expected to a man of AJ’s size and stature but for 6 rounds he gave Joshua a very competitive fight until the fight was ended by the Champion’s power in the 7th. Povetkin had gone the distance with Wladimir Klitschko despite being dropped four times, and probably deserved a second shot at the world title sooner than 5 years after that. The 39-year old was still a credible challenger but with his best years behind him.
Then on June 1 2019, came the infamous AJ US debut. After a fight with Big Baby Miller collapsed due to his drug use, in stepped Andy Ruiz, who had a similarly large belly but 4 inches less in height than Miller. It was obvious what would happen next, AJ would announce himself to US audiences with a quick knockout. Ruiz hit the canvas for the first time in his career in round 3. AJ, one of the best finishers in the sport, jumped on him. What happens next usually, is roared on by tens of thousands of Brits, AJ punches and punches until his opponent goes down and stays there. This time infront of an audience of stunned Americans, Ruiz comes off the floor to land a shot to AJ’s temple which changes the course of the fight and both men’s destinies. Ruiz puts AJ down and the champion never recovers, unable to regain authority or control in the fight, he is victim to Ruiz’s barrages and decides not to fight on in the 7th, recognising after being dropped yet again, that it’s not going to be his night.
Tumblr media
After losing the Brawl In Montreal, Sugar Ray Leonard knew he had to get his conqueror Roberto Duran back in the ring as quickly as possible, whilst he was out partying, piling on the pounds and not training. AJ applied the same thinking, and like Leonard in the ‘No Mas’ fight took on a completely new approach for the rematch. Andy Ruiz has very fast hands, its not wise to trade with him up close. He does not however, have fast feet or particularly long arms. AJ maintained his discipline in the rematch to comfortably outbox Ruiz for 12 rounds, boxing from distance, never tempted to go for the knockout. Ruiz weighed in at an enormous 284 pounds, 16 pounds heavier than before.
Performance and result wise, the Ruiz rematch in Saudi Arabia is perhaps the most impressive of AJ’s career to date. The 32-year old Ruiz still has to prove however, if he is truly a top class fighter, or whether he just produced the performance of a lifetime and got AJ on the right night. If AJ had beaten Ruiz first time round it would not have been seen as a particularly significant triumph, but due to the credibility he only gained as a result of beating AJ, this conversely amplified the achievement of Joshua gaining revenge in the rematch.
Joshua’s first defence of his second reign came against Kubrat Pulev after just over a year out the ring. Like Povetkin, Pulev was approaching 40, had fought for the world title whilst a younger man and lost to Wlad Klitschko (Pulev being stopped in 5), he was also quite a short and light man in comparison to the giant figure of Joshua. With only 14KO wins in 29 fights, Pulev looked the ideal opponent for AJ. He was durable and well conditioned, and came to win but he stood right infront of AJ, with no head movement, so AJ moved his head for him with brutal uppercuts. If you stand infront of Joshua and don’t have much of a punch or speed to threaten him with, he looks brilliant and he did at times on this night, despite even against this opponent being reluctant to fully commit to power combo’s, the memory of Ruiz at MSG clearly not yet banished, but the win came in the 9th round, AJ’s first stoppage win for over 2 years.
AJ’s second reign as champion was alot shorter than his first, defeat coming in his second defence against former Cruiserweight king Oleksandr Usyk. Usyk had come under vast criticism it shouldn’t be forgotten for his first 2 performances at Heavyweight. Many people, though I personally don’t agree, thought that his fight with Chisora was very close, he certainly wasn’t sending fear into the hearts of the division. But Usyk has only failed to win 15 fights out of over 360 amateur and pro for a reason, and he thoroughly outclassed Joshua. The fight would have been hard enough, and not a guaranteed win even if Joshua hadn’t got his tactics so completely wrong, but he atleast would have been in with a chance. Usyk, thought to be too small for a heavyweight, didn’t look small in with one of the divisions giants, because he didn’t fight like a small man, he didn’t allow Joshua to feel physically superior, and showed no fear or respect for his power.
Tumblr media
I won’t be suprised atall if Joshua rights his wrongs in the second fight, by doing what he obviously should have done in the first fight. Being rough and nasty, throwing as the saying goes, with bad intentions. But why it takes a 2-time World Champion with his experience a second fight to realise this I have no idea. Having a “chess match” fight with Usyk is maybe something you do in sparring to learn some useful things, you don’t do it infront of 70 thousand with your belts actually on the line..It was one of the most incredibly naive things I have seen from an experienced champion. It struck of a man in a bit of an identity crisis, who can’t decide what type of fighter he is inside the ring, nor what his boxing persona is outside it, in the lead-up to fights.
As another mistake AJ seemed to repeat from the first Ruiz fight was he seemed all pally with Usyk and too relaxed in the build-up. It could just be a coincedence but he was nice and pissed off with Pulev before getting in the ring with him, and he produced the right performance. I know Usyk is a difficult guy to dislike, but he’s gonna have to try.
Strangely, Hearn also listed Usyk on AJ’s resume. I don’t see much good of having good names on your resume if you lose to them, otherwise we may aswell declare Kevin Johnson a great, as he’s fought everyone (and lost to everyone, but I guess that doesn’t matter). If AJ wins the rematch, he deserves credit for it, as it would for me be the best win of his career, given the age of Klitschko and Joshua’s personal circumstances of 2 defeats in his last 4. But I don’t really get this thing of “give AJ credit for taking the fight”. Its the mandatory challenger for one of his belts, he has to fight him, or else give up that belt. Why would you become world champion just to give a belt up because you have to face someone good? talk about giving credit for the bare minimum.
This questioning of AJ’s resume, is not to criticise him personally. I have no doubt before he retires he would if up to him fight Wilder, Fury, whoever else who is up there at the time, and if he does so he will lose plenty more times, because his chin and tactics are not of the standard of some of the other guys, but he will lose and come back and keep trying, and I respect that. But in conclusion I think up to this point, with no Fury or Wilder under his W column, he is getting a lot of credit for wins against guys who when listed as a collective are fairly solid names, but when taken individually, are not so great. Whilst Fury’s list has less solid names, there are names who can be taken individually and are great standalone wins.
The way I would describe it is would you rather take a couple of 10′s to bed, but not many 6,7 or 8′s? or would you rather take a few 6,7 or 8′s but never a 10. I know which I would prefer.

oh god i just saw the angsty shippy prompts you just reblogged and now i have to brace myself for angst for DAYS ㅠㅠ and because your writing always makes me feel All The Emotions i just know i'm going to feel like i've been punched in the solar plexus each time i see (and read, and re-read) an update and its reblogs... anyway i feel like this would be a fun one "i can't always help when you're in trouble" whichever ship you choose! ^^
He wakes to a dull, rhythmic throbbing in his head. There’s an itch on his nose that is growing more and more irritating by the second, but his body feels like it’s being crushed by a dead weight and his arm won’t move. The most he achieves is a tiny twitch of his right hand; it brushes up against something warm, and then he hears a sharp intake of breath close to his ear.
“Wei-xiansheng,” a familiar voice says. “Wei-xiangsheng, are you awake?”
He groans.
“My nose itches,” he croaks. His lips are dry and his mouth feels like sandpaper. “And my throat hurts.”
“That would be the anaesthetic wearing off,” another voice says. “If you’re not feeling nauseous, we can probably get you something to wet your mouth.”
‘Thanks’ is what he tries to say, but it comes out more like a garbled ‘auuaagh’. Nevertheless, a cool, wet cloth is pressed to his lips and he sighs gratefully at the soothing sensation. He opens his eyes slowly once it’s taken away, wincing at the way his eyes seem to have been caked shut; the first thing he sees is a very handsome, albeit very concerned pair of pretty honey-coloured eyes watching him.
“Hey,” he rasps. “Hey, gorgeous.”
A tiny frown appears in between those perfectly shaped brows.
“Wei-xiansheng,” Gorgeous says. He frowns.
“Don’t call me that,” he complains. “You should call me by my name.”
Gorgeous sighs. Put-Upon is a very nice expression on him.
“Wei-xiansheng,” he says again. “How are you feeling?”
“Mm,” he says coherently. “Better now that you’re here.” A deeper frown, and a pressure around his hand. “Ooh, you’re holding my hand. That’s nice. I like that.” He pouts when the hand is quickly retracted, but is rewarded by the adorable sight of reddened ears instead, so he lets it pass. “Fine. I’m uh—dizzy, kind of. Thirsty. Oh—uh, my shoulder hurts?”
“That would make sense,” the other voice says from somewhere on his other side. “Considering that’s where you were shot.”
A woman with a stethoscope around her neck is poking at the tablet in her hand as she studies his chart. She gives him a Look over the top of her glasses as she details the extent of his injuries.
“You were very lucky this time, Wei Wuxian,” she says sternly. “A couple of millimetres off and it would have nicked a major artery. I’m a world-class surgeon, but I can’t work miracles—not if you insist on putting yourself in unnecessary danger all the time.”
“In my defence, Qing-jie, it was completely necessary this time,” he says cheerfully.
Wen Qing raises the tablet over her head as if to smack him over the head with it. Wei Wuxian pouts and gives her his best puppy dog eyes, but Wen Qing does not buy it. She usually doesn’t, but her features soften anyway and she pats him on his uninjured shoulder before she leaves.
“Don’t let him get out of bed,” she instructs his companion. “Got it, Lan Wangji?”
Lan Wangji nods. “Thank you, Wen-daifu.”
And then it’s just the two of them, in this too-sterile hospital room, staring at each other. The little crease is still there between Lan Wangji’s brow, and Wei Wuxian’s nose is still itchy, but it feels a little too awkward to be taking care of that particular problem now. He clears his throat and looks away with a wry grin.
“Hey,” he says again. “Thanks for today, Lan Zhan. Really. Don’t know where I’d be without you.”
Lan Wangji says nothing, but the hand resting on the sheets beside his curls into a fist. His face is impassive as always, but there is a twitch in the muscles of his sharp jaw that gives away the extent of his displeasure. Wei Wuxian shifts around, adjusting his position in bed and winces at the discomfort in his shoulder still dulled by the effects of the anaesthetic. Being the subject of Lan Wangji’s disapproval has never been a pleasant experience, but it feels different this time.
He stretches his index finger and taps the knuckles of the fist resting beside him.
“Hey,” he says softly. “Don’t be upset, Lan Zhan. I’m fine. Look!”
Lan Wangji’s frown deepens and the corners of his mouth turn down imperceptibly as he drops his gaze to the bed.
“You should not have done it,” he says stiffly. Unhappily. “You were the target, you should have stayed behind me—”
“Aiya, Lan Zhan,” Wei Wuxian says with a click of his tongue. “I couldn’t stand back and do nothing, could I? You could have been shot!”
“And now you’ve been shot!” The force behind his words startle Wei Wuxian into silence. “Wei-xiansheng. I am your bodyguard. My job is to protect you. Not the other way around.”
Wei Wuxian gnaws on the inside of his cheek and looks up at the ceiling. The tiles are plain and white, as sterile as the rest of the room. It makes his skin crawl.
“I didn’t want you to get hurt,” he says finally. “Not for me.”
“That is my job,” Lan Wangji reminds him. He sighs, frustrated. “Wei-xiansheng, we’ve been over this. Your personal safety should be at the forefront of your concerns.”
“Your brother tells me to leave the worrying to you,” Wei Wuxian says with a wry grin. “That as long as you’re here, I’ll be in safe hands. Or is that not true?”
It is clearly the wrong thing to say, because Lan Wangji’s knuckles turn white and the sheets crumple and twist beneath his fingers. He’s shaking so hard the bed begins to trembling, just slightly, but enough for Wei Wuxian to feel it rattle. He opens his mouth, ready to placate him, but Lan Wangji is faster.
“We cannot protect you if you do not protect yourself first,” he bites out through gritted teeth. “You keep—throwing yourself into dangerous situations without thinking. It was pure luck that you weren’t hurt, or killed any of those times before—”
“Well, not just luck. You’re just really good at your job,” Wei Wuxian interjects. He shrinks under Lan Wangji’s glare, chastened. “Sorry, please continue.”
Lan Wangji exhales and relaxes his grip on the bedsheets.
“I’m doing the best I can to protect you,” he says in a small, defeated tone that weighs heavily on Wei Wuxian’s chest. “But I can’t always be there. I-I can’t always help you when you’re in trouble, Wei Ying.”
Oh. Realisation hits him like a tonne of bricks and he lays there, craning his neck against the terrible pillows, looking at Lan Wangji. His shoulders are slumped, his head bowed; there are dark circles under his eyes and the faint hint of stubble along his jaw, a far cry from his usual crisp, professional demeanour. Wei Wuxian grimaces as a wave of nausea hits him, although he’s not sure if it’s due to the anaesthetic or the guilt churning in his stomach.
Lan Wangji is there immediately, the hurt on his face replaced by concern.
“Is the wound hurting?” he asks. “I will call Wen-daifu—”
“No, no don’t,” Wei Wuxian says quickly, grabbing onto his hand before he can leave. He feels Lan Wangji’s hand jerk beneath his as if to pull away, and is grateful when he doesn’t. “I’m sorry.”
He chances a look at Lan Wangji and finds his honey-coloured eyes wide and his mouth soft and open with surprise as he stares down at him. It lasts only a second before it disappears behind a mask again, but it’s enough to send his heart tripping over itself and blood rushing to his cheeks. He looks away, chewing on his bottom lip.
“I didn’t mean to worry you,” he continues, staring determinedly at the railing on the other side of the bed. “I just…I didn’t even realise I was moving until I was, you know? I saw the gun pointed at you and my body just…reacted.”
He laughs, blinking back sudden wetness in his eyes.
“I just didn’t want to see you hurt,” he finishes quietly.
He doesn’t dare look at Lan Wangji to gauge his reaction, but he hears the sharp intake of breath and feels the hand in his shift. It turns over and returns his grip, engulfing his hand in a warm, gentle grip.
“Wei Ying,” Lan Wangji breathes. “Wei Ying, look at me?”
His eyes are warm and gentle, tinged with sadness. He lifts Wei Wuxian’s hand and clasps it in both of his, bringing it to his cheek and brushing his lips over the knuckles. The brief contact sends tingles rushing down Wei Wuxian’s arms and his heart does an involuntary little flip. And then Lan Wangji smiles, no more than a tiny little quirk at the corner of his lips, but it is enough to send his heart rate skyrocketing—which is embarrassingly reflected in the sudden spike on the ECG machine still beeping away merrily by his bed.
“Wei Ying,” Lan Wangji says softly, the words ghosting over his fingers. “I don’t want to see you hurt either.”
The matter-of-factness in his tone fills Wei Wuxian with a warm, fuzzy feeling he’s quite sure does not relate to the anaesthetic. He offers him a sheepish little smile and strokes his thumb over the back of Lan Wangji’s hand.
“I’m sorry,” he says in a small voice. “I won’t do it again.”
Lan Wangji huffs.
“Yes you will,” he says with a hint of fondness in his voice. “But thank you.”

xiansheng (先生) - Mr
daifu (大夫) - Doctor, nowadays used mostly as a title suffixed to a doctor’s name, rather than referring to a doctor in general (which is yisheng 医生)
This is set in my old Bodyguard AU verse from that prompt list that went around a while back. Uhhh...set somewhere between #2 and #3 probably. But you don’t really have to read them to understand it?

#11 It’s a Small World (You x yuta x taeyong)
Eleventh day of Christmas
It’s a Small World (You x Yuta x Taeyong)
warning : expect a plot twist okay? It’s quite interesting, hope this can be a real life story for someone 😂💖
Tumblr media
I do not own the pictures, but I own the stories :) hope you enjoy this
You’re glad to spend the Christmas and New Year with your family in Japan and now it’s time to go back to work. Your company has given you an extra two days holiday since you’ve been doing great for them. Your family send you off to the airport that morning and you’ve checked in your luggage and have some hours to stroll around the airport before departing home.
The Kansai airport in Osaka was not the biggest, but you sure can still stroll around the stores and pick up last chance Japanese snacks from the mini kiosk and after purchasing your favorite chocolate bars, you walk to the waiting room.
Before sitting down, your phone vibrates and you check to see a new message coming in.
“Safe flight (y/n)! I’ll pick you up in Incheon. Don’t forget my souvenirs. XOXO TY” the message read and you slap your head for forgetting the most important souvenir.
Quickly you scroll the chat room and look for the list of things he asked.
“Ramen done, skin care done, snacks also done,” you mumble as you read through all of the things he listed. “And shit I forgot the book.”
The nearest bookstore is a ten minute walk, the directory said, and you still have an hour. Without a second thought you make your way to the bookstore. You won’t risk going back to Seoul without that book. You basically promised him you will get him one if you’re in Japan.
You pray that the book store has the complete comic series, or you’ll need to find something for an exchange.
“Here I go,” you huff when you stand outside of the small store.
You directly go to the comic area and run your eyes through the Japanese characters, mumbling their titles as your heart beats faster and faster whenever you read another title.
“Here it is! Howl’s Moving Castle!” your happy squeal almost make you get kicked out from the store, as you extend your hand to take the last complete comic book you brush someone else’s hand.
“I grabbed it first,” was all that taller man said when he saw you opening your mouth.
You are speechless and you still keep your hand on the book “Excuse me,” you finally can speak up to him.
His Japanese is fluent, so he must be someone from here. You cannot recognize his face because of his shades and his long hair.
“What? I touched the book first, your hand comes after it. So this belongs to me.” The man said in his deep calm voice.
You shake your head “Can’t you just buy something else? I want to give this to someone.”
He shakes his head “Too bad, I also need this as a gift.”
You tighten your grip and try to pull the book “No, look you don’t understand. I might die if I did not get this.”
He smirks “Oh yeah? Someone’s a diehard Miyazaki fan. Cliché” he shrugs his shoulder.
In a glance he looks like Howl, considering the loose white tee he wore, the tight pants, the long blonde hair, you just wish you can see his eyes.
Maybe he is one of those guys who do cosplay and he always dresses up as Howl so he looks like this in daily basis. Your mind must have been crazy.
A cough interrupts the cold staring contest you two held. Without letting go off the 4 comic book set, the two of you shoot your heads to the sound.
“I am sure you do not want to make a chaos here. Please put down the book, you haven’t bought that yet.” The store owner points his finger to the book you and this man hold.
Flustered the two of you just mutter a polite “Sorry,” but without letting go off the book.
“I need this like seriously, please help me out this one time.” You plead but the tall man shakes his head, okay in your mind he is an asshole now.
“I also need this, four of them to be precise.” He sighs.
You roll your eyes “But I also need four of them. Since we both need to at least bring this book, let’s share it.” You hate this, you don’t like backing down but considering your time limit and your urgent need to bring this book home, maybe bringing back 2 is better than none.
The shop owner seems to agree with you, he offers you two to share and just look for the rest series later. He apologized for not having extra copies, because the book is a best seller.
The tall man finally gives up when his phone vibrates and his alarm rings.
“Fine. You’ll take two I take two. You take the even numbers, I take the odds.” He pays the book and after thanking the shop owner he walks to you. You give him the money and walk away, only to notice he is also walking the same way.
“What’s your name?” he asks suddenly when the two of you are walking back to the gates.
“(Y/n), you?” you feel sort of cranky with him, why can’t he be a gentleman and just let you have the book.
He hasn’t introduced you his name for there is a call for the passengers leaving for Seoul.
“Whoops, that is my plane. Nice to meet you (y/n),” he waves and disappears like that.
You shake your head and mutter a curse, when you realize you’re having the same flight with him.
Slowly you queue behind the long lines and after handing the ticket, you board to the plane.
Well you tried to forget the unfavourable encounter and just explain everything to Taeyong, while wishing he didn’t hate you.
“Seat 27 H” you smile and put up your things on the cabin above your head.
You notice someone is not sitting beside you, but since you’re in the window seat you nicely make your way into the chair. You buckle your seat belt, leave a message to tell your parents you’re on board already and send Taeyong a message too that you’re on schedule. You lean back while looking out of the window, taking in one last view of the Osaka vibes.
“Good bye home,” you whisper
“I guess that window seat is mine,” a finger taps your shoulder.
“What?” you turn around to face the same man from the bookstore, “You again?!”
“Oh we meet again,” he pretends to sound surprised in his same deep voice you’re trying to forget.
He smirks and takes off his shades, “Nakamoto Yuta.” He offers a hand and to be polite you take his hand, but something didn’t feel right.
“It is my seat,” you scrunch your eyebrow.
He grins, “Well yeah by the ticket it was yours, but I always like to take the window seat. Besides I put something there already,” he shows you the book he bought is inside the pocket infront of you.
You roll your eyes, “That doesn’t mean this is yours. I paid to get the window seat.” You lied.
He acts surprised, ”Really? You’re lying. Now I usually ask them kindly to switch place with me-“
He cannot finish his sentence because you cut him “No. Sit on the aisle or find another chair Yuta.”
He smirks and shrugs his shoulder, “I thought people always fall for my smile, but not you. Fine, you won this time.” He simply sit down on the other seat and buckles his belt.
“Sorry for the bookstore incident, I hope we can still enjoy our flight back to Korea.” He said softly to you in Korean. Your eyes widen, oh he is a fluent Korean speaker.
You just nod and when you feel like there is nothing else to talk about right now, you put on the headphones and play yourself some music.
Something tickles your brain, something about Nakamoto Yuta, his name somehow feels familiar in your ear. You take off your headphone to listen to the safety procedure and that’s when Yuta speaks up again in Korean.
“Look at us,” he suddenly whispers, “We fought over the last book, fought over a window seat, both speak Korean… we have some things in common. Aren’t we basically a couple already?”
You punch his shoulder “Are you in your right mind?”
He looks at you annoyed “Didn’t you know I was flirting?”
You blush and scoff “Not that fast sir-“
He smirks “Oh Sir? You’re into that huh? Sounds interesting.” His gaze examines your face.
The way your eyes look into him with curiosity but defence, the way you hide your cheeks from blushing but your ears give away too much, and the way you bite your lips.
He winks, “Alright, I am not teasing my little lamb anymore. You might cry if I go too far. Just know that whoever dates you must be very lucky to win someone like you.”
Your heart fell for that, “Actually I am single,” you blurt that out and curse yourself when you see his gaze changes to a challenging one.
“Woah, were you hinting me?”
You shake your head “Sorry I just didn’t know I’d say that outloud.”
“People tend to tell the truth when they’re nervous. So tell me little lamb, are you nervous because I am too stunning or you’re afraid I might harm you.”
You close your eyes, it’s not the fear of him killing you in your sleep or robbing you. No, it’s pure nervousness.
“I am sorry, I need my time alone.” You give him a forced small smile so he doesn’t feel bad and you return to listening your music.
The rest of the flight, Yuta did not bother you anymore. He watched movies, played some game in his phone and even read some books.
You just interact with him when he helps you take out the things on the overhead cabin and while you wait for the luggage. He helps you with your luggage and you’re grateful for it, at least he is not a total asshole. He is actually sweet and caring, maybe he is a tsundere.
“Alright, I guess this is it. We part ways and maybe never see each other again.” Yuta pushes his trolley and you also did the same thing beside him.
You nervously chuckle, something in your hear wishes you’ll bump him once again. “Yeah, this is it. Thank you for helping me and the books.”
He laughs, “As much as I want to give you the remaining half, I promised someone this.”
You nod your head, “I understand, same thing goes to me.”
He taps his finger on the handle, “Think we might see each other again one day?”
You look to the distant, “Maybe? Hope it’s better than our first encounter.”
Yuta nods, “Yeah I wish that never happen again. So, this is it. Is someone picking you up?”
You take your phone out to see the message from the man picking you up, “Yes, my cousin is here. What about you? Taxi?”
“No, someone came to pick me up too.”
Your phone rings and both Yuta and you toss each other a glance. “Go, your cousin is here maybe.” He shoos you politely and you laugh at his action “See you when I see you! Bye Yuta!” you wave and walk with your trolley away while listening to your brother’s direction.
Yuta also picks up a call not longer after it, “Oh the mini market? Yeah I saw it. I’m walking there.”
You meet your cousin already and hug him tight “Taeyong!!! Glad you’re not late. Let’s go!” you try to bring him home first and show the other souvenirs first before finally telling him about the comic.
He ruffles your hair “I know you’re excited to go back to Seoul, but I am also here to pick up my friend. He’s also from Japan and I promised to pick him up too. He’s on his way.”
Your mind feels fuzzy but you try to ignore it, maybe you’re just nervous about telling the story. That was until you hear your cousin’s voice calling out a name you learnt today.
“Yuta!!”
“Taeyong-ah!!”
You peer over Taeyong’s shoulder and gasp when you see the same man you’ve been with the whole day.
“Yuta, this is the cousin I used to talk about, and (y/n) meet Yuta, my boyfriend.” Taeyong proudly introduces the two of you without knowing anything.
Yuta plays along and shakes your hand “The girl from the bookstore? (y/n) right?”
You smirk and play along too “Mister window seat! Yuta, true?”
Taeyong looks at the two of you with a big question mark on his face.
You stifle a laugh when Yuta nicely grabs his boyfriend’s hand and pushes his trolley to get to the car.
“We owe you a story, come let’s eat lunch and we will tell you everything!” you giggle as you push your belongings too.
Taeyong nods his head “Fine, looks like you two are hiding something. Hope it’s nothing bad.”
After loading your stuff and Yuta’s stuff, the three of you stop over a restaurant for lunch.
Once the lunch is over, you and Yuta both pull out a paper bag.
“For you, open it up and we will tell you the story.” You hand him the same bag Yuta handed over.
Taeyong curiously open the bag and screams when he sees the book, he wanted is complete here in front of his face.
“Oh the two of you did not forget! Why did you just get me two each?” he notices that soon when he arranges the comic books on the table.
“Who wanna tell?” you glance to Yuta.
He rolls his eyes, “You go first, then me.”
With that Taeyong laughs at the story both of you re-enact. He has the greatest laugh this year when he sees how you and Yuta re-do the scene while muttering the same Japanese words he did not understand.
“So, in the end both of you got me the complete set. Congratulations! None of you will die.” Taeyong ends the story with a nice wrap and the three of you can’t believe how small the world is.
See you tomorrow, on the last day!
Thank you so much!!! ily!!

A Gentleman Never Tells - Chris Adams
Gentleman Chris Adams is a name that many people miss when they talk about wrestlers from the UK who not only did good business in the US during the 80’s but helped to train some of the biggest names in professional wrestling during the 90’s and helped to bring to light one of the most popular finishers in the industry today.
Chris Adams was born in Rugby, Warwickshire on 10th February 1955 and from a young age was involved in competitive Judo, which he continued training in exclusively for around 14 years which he earned a Black Belt in the discipline. Both he and his brother Neil competed in national and world championships, with Neil actually winning a silver medal in the 1980 and 1984 Olympics. Chris was a member of the 1976 Olympic team but never competed for Great Britain.
Chris Adams began taking part in Professional Wrestling in 1978. He had no formal training in wrestling and used his expertise in Judo in his early years of wrestling. He worked with Joint Promotions and appeared on ITV’s World of Sport regularly taking on the likes on Mark ‘Rollerball’ Rocco, Dynamite Kid, Fit Finlay, Adrian Street and Davey Boy Smith. His finishing move, originally called ‘the Judo Kick’ was later renamed a ‘Superkick’ and is still used by many professional wrestlers today.
By 1983, Adams was approached by Fritz Von Erich to work for World Class Championship Wrestling and he officially joined on 15th April, 1983. During his time with WCCW, he feuded with many of the company’s big stars, from The Von Erichs to Ric Flair, and the Fabulous Freebirds. He was tag partners with Gino Hernandez and became the second iteration of The Dynamic Duo in 1985, where one of their most notable matches was a hair match against the Von Erichs which The Duo lost and were shaved in front of a rapturous crowd.
Chris was due to go into a feud with Gino going into 1986. They had worked an angle against The Cosmic Cowboys, who were actually Kevin and Kerry Von Erich in disguise. The finish to the match was Adams being blinded by hair cream that was thrown by Hernandez, resulting in a loss against the Cowboys. Chris used this time in the storyline to go back to the UK and visit him family, but during that time, on 2nd February 1986, Gino Hernandez died of a Cocaine Overdose. Adams was questioned by Scotland Yard about Gino’s death as authorities in Texas originally treated the incident as a homicide, but this was later changed to an Overdose by officials. There is still some scepticism over Hernandez death today.
Shortly after this, Adams started to become involved in a number of high-profile altercations, many of which would hamper his career despite his talent in the ring. In June of 1986 while travelling back from a show in Puerto Rico, Adams headbutted an Airline pilot and punched a male attendant. This resulted in a 90-day jail and a $500 fine. It is believed that Adams’ belligerence was a result of being denied alcohol by an FAA inspector and that he was restrained by Kevin Von Erich in the process. By September of 1986, Adams had left WCCW to join Bill Watts’ UWF but later returned to WCCW in 1987 as UWF was absorbed into the NWA.
In UWF, Adams became tag partners with Terry Taylor, known to many as The Red Rooster in WWF in later years. They later feuded and carried this back over into the newly acquired by NWA, WCCW. Over the next few years, Adams would find himself in the upper mid-card region of the company’s talent pool, competing against many of the companies’ big stars and also working with companies like Georgia Championship Wrestling and World Wrestling Alliance.
In 1988, Chris Adams opened his own training school based out of the world-famous Dallas Sportatorium. Two of his most popular students were Scott Hall/Razor Ramon and Stone-Cold Steve Austin. In 1989, Adams was arrested and sentenced to a year’s probation after his wife was found beaten after Adams had flown into a rage, again related to his Alcohol abuse. He was later involved in more legal troubles and again place don probation for 2 DUI arrests in 1991.
After the WCCW has ceased business in 1990, Adams returned to the independent circuit. He would visit numerous territories having matches for various championships during this time. He won the GWF Heavyweight Title on 2 occasions in 1994 and also a brief stint as the NWA Heavyweight champion in 1995 after Jim Crockett had taken control of the company.
He continued wrestling with various NWA affiliated territories and other independents up until joining WCW in 1997.
When joining WCW, Chris was placed into a British stable called The Blue Bloods alongside Lord Steven Regal (later William Regal) and Squire David Taylor. This stable was not together for very long due to some personal issues between Regal and Adams which hampered the stable from becoming credible in the eyes of the WCW officials. Adams wrestled against Randy Savage in the first match of WCW’s new midweek show, Thunder in 1998. Adams got a pinfall over Savage, but the decision was overturned by JJ Dillon after interference from Lex Luger swayed the match in Adams’ favour. He began to drop down the card, working as an enhancement for other talents to get victories over. He left the company in 1999 and returned to Texas where he began promoting shows and wrestling part time.
During his career, Adams unfortunately fell victim to a number of addictions, his first with Alcohol. David Manning said in the Documentary ‘Gentleman’s Choice’ that his Alcohol dependency was heightened after a flight cancellation due to unforeseen circumstances by the airline prompted them to offer a free bar to the wrestlers on the flight, not for a few drinks but for several hours until a flight was arranged for them.
Adams was also a heavy user of GHB, which at the time was being used by bodybuilders and wrestlers alike as an alternative to steroids but it did not have the same anabolic effects as steroids and left longer addictive tendencies with the users. Many of the people using them believed that the GHB worked while they slept.
Adams and his then girlfriend Linda Kaphengst overdosed on a combination of alcohol and GHB in April 2000. Adams survived, but Kaphengst was not so lucky. The overdose starved her brain of oxygen and her family were told that should she survive, she would likely have long term brain trauma. A few hours later, her situation worsened, and her family had to make the difficult to turn off her breathing apparatus.
Adams was not originally suspected in any foul play at the time of the incident and went on to marry again in August 2001, but an intoxicated and threatening voicemail left on answer machine to Pam Hernandez stating that if she did not stop meddling in his affairs then she would ‘end up like Linda’. This voicemail was brought to the Homicide team dealing with Linda’s death and Chris was indicted on a manslaughter charge.
He was due to be indicted but the day before his hearing, he was fatally shot in the chest during a drunken fight with a close friend Brent ‘Booray’ Parnell on October 7th, 2001. Booray claimed self-defence, stating that Adams snapped off a piece of bedframe and tried to attack him with it. Booray claims in the documentary ‘Gentleman’s Choice’ that he does not know the reason for Adams’ behaviour at the time, other than asking him to keep the noise down as his mother was sleeping in the next room. He said that his eyes were black and almost demonic at the time of the fight, which is a known side effect of the drug GHB.
Booray was cleared of all charges against him as acting in self-defence.
Adams, although a clean-cut Olympic prospect from the UK, fell victim to the harsh lifestyles of living on the road as a professional wrestler. Though many still speak of him based on the poor choices he made during his life, many still speak of the apt moniker ‘Gentleman’ given to the late Judoka-turned-Wrestler.
His legacy of wrestling some of the sport’s greatest names in the 80’s and 90’s, training future hall of fame wrestlers and one of the UK’s least discussed exports is somewhat tarnished by his final days.
I have posted the link from Youtube to the 2008 documentary ‘Gentleman’s Choice’ below uploaded in full by The Hannibal TV.

Eddie Hearn, Matchroom Sport Chairman: "The WBA World Featherweight Title. The Super WBA World Featherweight Title. Leigh Wood against Mauricio Lara this Saturday live on DAZN around the world from the Motorpoint Arena Nottingham. What a fight we have here. Someone asked me earlier, what gives me a big fight feeling? Driving up the M1 excited, thinking about what might happen on Saturday night. Thinking about the atmosphere, thinking about the great nights we've experienced in this arena. Carl Froch beating Lucian Bute, Leigh Wood beating Michael Conlan. Honestly on Saturday night I think we're going to get the best we've ever seen in this city. This is a tremendous fight to bring to the UK and we're so proud of Leigh Wood the champion for accepting this challenge as the champion. The first time you've seen an underdog in his home city take a voluntary defence. Him and his trainer Ben Davison they see something, they see an opportunity to become the daddy of the division on Saturday night. For me this is to determine the number one fighter in the 126lbs division. There's going to be drama, there's going to be excitement and there's going to be plenty of violence. We cannot wait." Leigh Wood – Gedling, England – 26-2, 16 KOs – defending his WBA Featherweight World Title against Mauricio Lara: “It has been a long journey to get here. I was that little kid trying to get a slot of the Froch undercards. I’ve come a long way since then. There’s nothing that’s going to beat me on Saturday night, nothing at all. There’s nothing that he can bring that I’m not prepared for. He’s ready for war but I’m ready for a smart tactical knockout. I think the underdog mentality going into a fight does help a little bit but it’s more about having that danger. With the Can Xu fight it was punches and output. There’s a bit of that fear factor to get me up for the fight. The Conlan fight, he was a southpaw, bearing in mind before then I’d only boxed one in my career. He’s very skilful and has a massive amateur pedigree. So there was that factor as well. This fight it’s a new approach but a similar kind of thing. We’ve got the fear factor – he can punch and he’s dangerous. Whichever way this fight goes I’m prepared for it. The underdog mentality, not only do I strive on but I kind of need it. It’s going to be special. It’s going to be a wolf pit. It’s going to be a cauldron, very hostile. Massive thank you to everyone from Nottingham. It's going to be a great atmosphere so thanks for getting behind me. Every time I get in the ring I put it all on the line, every single drop of me is going into this fight - whatever I have to do. Whatever it takes, if I have to pick myself up I'll pick myself up. I've shown in my last fight I'm resilient, I can punch, I'm fit and I'm headstrong which is the most important thing in boxing. That mental capacity of not deciding to give up." Ben Davison, trainer of Leigh Wood: “Styles make fights, more than levels. Leigh Wood has been written off numerous times throughout his career. When he lost for the British Title early on, when he lost in the Golden Contract, when he was boxing Can Xu, when he was boxing Michael Conlan. Every time he’s come back better and stronger and risen to the challenge. That’s when you see the best of Leigh Wood. You won’t see the best of Leigh in a fight that he’s the heavy favourite in. Mauricio Lara is a very brave fighter and a very dangerous fighter. In the mist of chaos lies opportunity and I believe that you can’t be as reckless as he is against a puncher like Leigh Wood. There is no doubt in my mind who the bigger puncher is. That’s not how it always plays out in a fight. Leigh is very well drilled and well prepared. He knows exactly what he needs to do and will have the intelligence and the IQ to create the opportunities and scenarios that favour him in the fight for him to execute what he needs to execute to end the fight. Fear is not anything to do with Leigh’s mindset going into this fight. We’re very confident, Leigh’s very confident. If anything, Mauricio Lara needs to be worrying and fearful of Leigh Wood because he’ll be the one that comes out victorious and he’s the dangerman in the fight.” Mauricio Lara – Mexico City, Mexico – 25-2-1, 18 KOs – challenging Leigh Wood for his WBA Featherweight World Title:   “Hello to everyone here, I hope you’re all well. I’m feeling really happy. When opportunities come around I take them with both hands and I’m convinced that I will win. I’m not disrespecting him in anyway but I just know the capability of ‘Bronco’ Lara who will go on to win the World Title. I’ve prepared better than ever and I’ve prepared not for a fight, but for a war and I’m prepared to leave absolutely everything in there. I’ve prepared as well as I possibly can. I feel like this is almost my second home. This will definitely not go to the scorecards I can tell you that. I feel like I’ve been supported on the social media platforms and I’m going to give absolutely everything on Saturday.” Alejandro Brito, manager of Mauricio Lara:   “First and foremost, I want to say thank you to Eddie for the opportunity. We also have to thank Leigh Wood’s team for this opportunity. He’s now just two days away from becoming World Champion. It has been a dream that he has had for a long time, we hoped that he’d do it against Josh Warrington, unfortunately that fight wasn’t for a World Title in the end. I’m totally convinced now that through all the hard work and suffering he has gone through that he’s going to become World Champion on Saturday night. I met Mauricio a little over six years ago and he always said it was a dream to become World Champion. He always wanted his name to be recognised in Mexico and around the world and now he’s just two days away from this. We’re really confident and really motivated, not just us but every back home in Mexico. They believe he will become World Champion.” Dalton Smith – Sheffield, England – 13-0, 10 KOs – making the second defence of his British Super-Lightweight Title against Billy Allington: “I don’t overlook anybody and I know Billy is coming with big intentions. I’ve heard it in my previous fights with people thinking I’m overlooking opponents. Believe me, I don’t do that. I just focus on the job in front of me and that’s the fight on Saturday night. I’ve got to turn up, be 100% and get the job done in style. We’re probably going to see the very best version of Billy. It’s a big opportunity for him and he’s coming to try and upset the odds. I’m not going to let that happen. I’m fully focused. I’ve had a good camp. I just keep on improving and improving with every fight. I feel like I’m turning into a good solid young man now. I just can’t wait to show you all on Saturday night. It’s going to be unbelievable and the support for me is getting bigger and bigger. I was here for my debut on Leigh’s undercard back in 2019. It’s a great sporting city and they always come out in their numbers. I can’t wait to be on that ramp walking down. I’m sure the atmosphere is going to be great.” Billy Allington – Egham, England – 10-1-4 – challenging Dalton Smith for his British Super-Lightweight Title: “Firstly I want to say thank you. I’m very grateful for the opportunity to be here. I’ve got a lot of people that want to see me do well and that’s a blessing in itself. I’m very well prepared. I’ve earnt my stripes by becoming English Champion, Southern Area Champion on the small hall shows. I’m excited to be here and challenge myself to be the best that I can be. I’ve got a great team and I’m very grateful for that as well. The magnitude of this event is very exciting. If you’d have asked me when I was a 13-year-old boy if I’d make it to where I am now I’d have probably said, ‘I don’t know’. I’m ready to take my opportunity on Saturday with both hands and become the new British Champion. It’s an honour to fight for the title and I’m more than capable of upsetting the odds here. I believe in myself, my team believe in me and this is why we’re here. We’re here for a reason. Dalton is a good fighter, I’m not going to say he isn’t, but as a champion we want to fight other champions and challenge ourselves to get the best out of ourselves. That’s how we grow as humans. I’ve got about 100 people coming up to watch me and that touches me as well. Let’s have a good night Saturday.”   Gary Cully – Naas, Ireland – 15-0, 9 KOs – fighting Wilfredo Flores for the vacant WBA Intercontinental Lightweight Title: “I’ve been gaining a lot of momentum. I’m here and I’m back in Nottingham, it’s good vibes for me. I was here last year fighting Miguel Vazquez – 2022 was kind of my breakout year but I feel like I’ve been putting in performances like that over the past five years of my career. I’ve fought undefeated guys, I’ve had my step ups, I’ve fought my former World Champions and all of this. I believe it’s a big step up for Wilfredo Flores and he’s going to be out of his depth on Saturday night. Too good, too big and too strong. 2023 is my year. There’s lots of talk about going back to Ireland and fighting back at home. It’s been a dream of mine to fight back in Ireland ever since I was a kid so I’ve been using that as massive motivation for this camp and to push that little bit harder. There’s some big fights coming at the back end of 2023 for me if I get through Saturday night. I come to bring excitement and entertainment every time I fight. I just heard Chev Clarke say he doesn’t go in there to knock people out he goes in there to box, but I come in to take your head off and it’s going to be no different on Saturday night. No disrespect to Wilfredo Flores but I believe I’m on a different level and I’m coming in there to take his head off on Saturday night.” Wilfredo Flores – Dunkirk, USA – 10-0-1, 5 KOs – fighting Gary Cully for the vacant WBA Intercontinental Lightweight Title: “Thank you for the opportunity I’m very excited. Hopefully I can come away with the victory and come away with some fans in the UK. This is my opportunity to showcase myself and who I am to the world. Im looking forward to it. This is an opportunity that comes with working hard. I have good work ethic and it’s embedded in me to continue to progress and showcase my hard work. I expect Gary to be well prepared and ready to go to war. I certainly am. This is a sport. We’re both very competitive fighters and I’m sure we’re going to steal the show this Saturday night.” Cheavon Clarke – Gravesend, England – 4-0, 4 KOs – fighting Israel Duffus in a ten round International Cruiserweight contest: “First and foremost I’d like to mention Dec Spellman. It’s really bad for him not being able to provide for his family doing something that he’s always done. I’ve got a tough opponent on Saturday and I’m looking forward to putting on a show. I don’t go out there trying to stop people. I go out there and I try to box. When the opportunities come I take them. If you guys think that’s exciting, I’ll just keep on doing what I’m doing. There’s plenty of good fights out there for me.”   Israel Duffus – San Miguelito, Panama – 20-8, 17 KOs – fighting Cheavon Clarke in a ten round International Cruiserweight contest: "Thank you for the opportunity. I always try to keep in shape – you never know when the opportunity is going to come. This is one of those cases. Cheavon’s amateur career looks very impressive but he’s in the professional code now and it’s not the same. Amateur and professional are two different things. I also had the opportunity back in 2012 and 2008 in the Olympics. Now we’re in the professionals. I’m really happy for this." Gamal Yafai – Birmingham, England – 19-2, 11 KOs – fighting Diego Alberto Ruiz in a ten round International Super-Bantamweight contest: “I’m looking forward to getting in there a doing the job. I’ve enjoyed the move to Jamie Moore’s gym, it has been good. I feel like I’ve got some structure now in my life. I’m looking forward to showing that on Saturday night. Get Saturday night sorted and I want to push towards the world level again.” Aaron Bowen – Coventry, England – Professional Debut – fighting Mathieu Gomes in a six round International Middleweight contest: “I’m looking forward to my professional debut. This is obviously where I want to be. I’ve got a big following and with big fights I think even more people can get behind me. I feel like my fights in the amateurs have given me great experience. This is a big stage and it’s a little bit different but the pressure that I experience boxing in the Commonwealth Games, boxing for GB travelling the world, I’ve sort of been there now so it’s given me that little stepping stone. This isn’t too far out of my comfort zone and at the end of the day it’s just a rig. I feel like it’s done me good. I come to fight from the first bell until the last. I will be looking for the knockout but I’ll get the job done first.”   Junaid Bostan – Rotherham, England – 4-0, 4 KOs – fighting Peter Kramer in an eight round International Super-Welterweight contest: “It’s my first eight-rounder. Whether it goes eight rounds is a completely different thing. I’m looking to do a number of this guy and carry on progressing in my career. Funnily enough I wasn’t known as the biggest puncher in the amateurs, but now I’ve turned over I’m knocking everyone out. I’m not complaining. It isn’t deliberate but you don’t get paid for overtime so if you can get them out of there then why not. If you don’t ask you don’t get, so I’ve got to ask about getting on these big shows.” Kieron Conway – Northampton, England – 18-3-1, 4 KOs – fighting Jorge Silva in an eight round International Super-Middleweight contest: “It’s good to be on a card so early in the year. I need to put my foot on the gas and get my career back on track. I want to use this year to rebuild. I want to keep all of my fights here in the UK. I want to win a British Title, I don’t care who’s got that. I want to go and win that next and move back on to the world scene after that. I’ve beat high level opposition and I’ve been around high-level opposition. I’m just sick of being known as this nice guy in and out the ring, now I’m coming here to destroy and bring knockouts to the table.” Sam Maxwell – Liverpool, England – 16-1, 11 KOs – fighting Shaun Cooper in a six round Super-Lightweight contest: “I’ve got a job to do on Saturday. Get through that and let’s see what we can do after. Dalton Smith is a fight I’m interested in and that’s the fight I want. Touch wood we both come through on Saturday and we can get it on."
