"bi lesbians are centering men in lesbian spaces-" you literally use "nonmen loving nonmen" as the definition of lesbian.

THIS IS NOT A CALLOUT POST . V am not posting this person's user and am simply saying "hey ! Don't fucking do this !"
(not vy post - this is a screenshot)
Tumblr media
(end screenshot)
Hey guys can weird fucking people shut up forever actually . Why would you ever make hating people who have friends an identity ??? Please like . Fucking don't ? Don't hate people for literally just living their lives and doing absolutely nothing wrong .
Plus also this label is a very , VERY slippery slope into shit like "hatelesbian" or some shit like that , because it is literally just proudly hating people being in relationships . So like just fucking don't !
You can not want to have friends , you can never make friends at all , you can be repulsed at the thought of having friends , you can not want friendship to be mentioned around you , you can dislike ex-friends who have hurt you . The only thing that makes you a shitty person is if you outright hate on people for having friends and act like friendships are horrible and should never happen , especially if you turn your hatred of a harmless relationship into a fucking identity . This is not "aplatonic" , this is just hating people for being different than you and acting like it's a personal attack when people are in entirely harmless relationships and not bothering you at all . That is not being aplatonic or friendship-repulsed . That is just being homomisic but hating relationships you try to pass as "okay to hate" instead of hating relationships that you deem "acceptable" or ""not okay to hate" .
(will not be giving out the person's username - V have already reported them)
(comment from vy apl rosefriend because as V am not apl V do not feel qualified to make claims about this because V do not experience being apl : "shut up forever . if you don't want to have friends then don't . if you hate having friendships then don't have any , that's entirely your choice and i am the same way . but hating someone for having an identity and being in a type of relationship you dislike ???? um . it's giving homophobia tbh")

what is trenderqueers ?
note: anon corrected themself in another ask, meaning to say "tenderqueer" and not "trenderqueer." do not go after them for this mistake.
anyways, to put it simply, tenderqueers are essentially white queer people who weaponize their queerness as a shield for their racism or an excuse to deny their white privilege, or they use their queerness as an excuse to punch down on queer people of color.
it's worth noting that this term has been used for various other purposes, some in good faith and some in bad faith. the definition i initially listed is the original definition and the one i use for the purposes of my dni.

why is it so much more difficult for me to reclaim words that should be neutral but are used as insults in my native language? i don't struggle so much with that in english. maybe it's because i still hear them being used as insults in my native language. people here use "disabled" as an insult all the time. "gay" is less common but still quite frequent. english is mostly a language of internet spaces for me. internet spaces that i can curate, that i have control over. here i can block people using my identities as slurs. i wish i could do the same for all those people at school.

Sometimes I think about those posts that are like "ironic that someone who believes x about a group of people is standing up for then in this other context" and it's like... in my experience, usually it's not.
Like, "ironic that someone who believes transmascs are oppressed is standing up for trans women". Uh, no? That's just solidarity with other oppressed people within your community.
"ironic that someone who believes you can reclaim [queer or disabled slur] without being [specific identity or disability] is standing up for [other queer or disabled group]".
You mean, someone's displaying moral consistency, where they do not police reclamation?
Where they believe people when they say "I have been specifically deliberately hurt by this word as a result of a different identity than you, and therefore have a say in who gets to reclaim it as much as you"?
(As a side note, this is a subset of the discourse that arises over people who determine theory and praxis based on material reality, vs those who base theory and praxis on what they believe ontological identity shapes theoretical reality into.)
Where they say "solidarity and pursuing liberation for all is more important to me than quibbling infighting over language"?
"Ironic that someone who believes in endogenic systems is defending traumagenic and/or disordered systems"
Someone who believes neurodivergent people about the experience of their own neurodivergence is standing up for all neurodivergent people?
Someone who believes you if you say "this is how my trauma DIDN'T affect me" or "this is how my lack of trauma affects my identity"... also believes you when you say "this us how my trauma DID affect me" or "this is how the PRESENCE of trauma affects my identity"?
Someone who puts mad liberation principles into practice in every aspect of their life is doing so with plurality?
Sometimes I think the kinds of exclusionists and bigots (which are basically two names for the same thing) who say this shit must be doing so simply because they don't actually understand what moral consistency and cognitive consonance actually look like.
Idk.

queer history sucks. i have to listen to my parents be like "oh but it's better nowadays than it was back then!" the holocaust where assigned-male queers were forced to wear pink triangles symbollic of sexual offense was under a hundred years ago, ma. so were sit-ins and stonewall and the aids epidemic. and even today i am still torn between waving a pride flag in every anti-queer kid's face and keeping it in my bag because i don't want some kid to hunt me down and beat the shit out of me

Temporary Hiatus
(CW: Exclusionist bullcrap and internalized queermisia) Well. Who knew *one* person could cause so much damage to your mental health? With a shitton of discourse popping up, combined with a fucking exclusionist reblogging a post on my sideblog with some hateful shit (which potentially opened the floodgates to MORE hate coming), I'll be taking a break from this hellsite for a bit. Having to read through a bunch of arguments about discrimination is fucking tiring, and the anti-mspec lesbian crap i've seen lately as well has caused me to fall into some internalized queermisia. I try to make my blogs be a safe space, I genuinely do. But it's kind of hard to *keep* it a safe space when a bunch of hateful people, sometimes *other* queer people, relentlessly invalidate you, y'know? Hopefully I'll be back before June ends, and I'll still occasionally post on my hockey sideblog. I still have a lot more posts to make and I might get back into coining stuff as well. But for now, I need a break. -Shadow.

hello 👋
I just saw one of your posts about radfems and you mentioned using transmisia instead of transphobia. I've never seen that word before so I searched it up, but I'm not fully sure I got it right? I'm guessing the latter would be ableist because it somehow (I haven't fully tought about this) insult people who have phobias? I would like if you could explain this, but you don't have to if you don't want to.
I hope those people are getting to you and that you're having a nice day/evening/night 🌻✨
Yes, you are right. Quite a while about I’ve put together a post about ableistic language and what falls under that. The adjective would be -misic. Hatred against queer people has nothing to do with any phobia (tho, to put it with a German paint comic artist, this sometimes takes on such extreme dimensions that one could perhaps make a diagnosis after all /s*), but actually with, well, hate, prejudice, malice ... you get the point. My German bubble uses the suffix -feindlich (hostile) which actually translates to -phobic in that context, which is bad because of the ableistic aspect. English speaking spaces almost every time use -phobic/-phobia, I still haven’t seen a major discussion, that this should change to a less harmfull phrase.
So, yeah, saying transphobia implies, that it is a clinical diagnosis. Obviously that is not the chase and waters down actual phobias. Queermisia is a whole other problem and definitelly not an illness.

ayo i was really interested in ur beliefs section and i had a question. if someone raised and permanently trapped in a cult like m//rm//nism is lgbt and believes they'll go to hell for being born that way, they actually DO get tortured for eternity according to ur system?? this isnt meant as an attack just as someone w an interest in theology that just raised an question in me. hearing folks thots on this stuff is always good even just for the sake of shootin the shit
that’s a very good question, and i appreciate you bringing it up! i do have thoughts on this, i just couldnt think of everything when i typed that page up, so this is really helpful!
i’ll add it to the page shortly, but to put it simply(all of what’s on that page is simplified as it is), in those cases people are presented with the truth and given the chance to make a “choice”. i use scare quotes here because it’s not that they’re able to consciously choose from all available options exactly; it’s more that their understanding forms the outcome.
however they come to understand the truth once they have it is what determines the nature of what comes next - be it some form of afterlife, reincarnation, absolution, or otherwise.
i hope that makes sense enough? it’s definitely more complicated an explanation than i’d like, but it’s also a pretty complicated subject, so it cant be helped i suppose.
thank you again for asking! i also really enjoy reading and thinking about various theologies, whether they mesh well with my own or not. we’re a fascinating species, to say the least!
