#something is very obviously different about these two compared to my normal images on this blog. i acknowledge this #also the sv model is Really good. and since they always stare straight at the camera anyway… and no one pays attention to the background… #and the only high-quality phantump model i could find was so horribly shiny that its eyes were just white voids #in my defense‚ phantump always just stare straight at you in game #the lighting is different‚ yeah. that's probably the dead giveaway. beyond the background. but like. i'm the only being on the planet who #really likes phantump anyway. i feel like it's a generally forgettable pokémon to most folks #phantump #HELLO this one is a weird one. i have some explaining to do. so when i did this one i didn't know how to edit models really at all #and when i got the models for these‚ the xy models were super shiny. shiny to the point that it made their eyes fuckin invisible #and i decided that since you could barely tell it was phantump‚ i needed a different way to get these images #i remembered that in the SV dlc‚ every time you find a wild phantump‚ it just fucking. stares. at you. and i was like. aha #i kinda remembered because of the test stream that i did. tumblr user alligayytorr (am i getting the right amount of Ys) said #“haha i am getting a sneak peek” when i zoomed the camera in on a phantump. and i remembered that. and i was like. i can utilize this #and ended up using just an in-game screenshot of SV in replacement of the regular content. later on‚ after that #once we got into gen 7 and it became less and less reliable to find models‚ i had to learn how to edit them manually to remove the shine #i am a software dev. not a 3d modeler. this ended up coming down to editing the code of the models directly (which i ended up writing a #script to automate). now‚ today‚ january 22nd (the day of me writing these tags and updating this post)‚ i remembered this post was in the #queue and was not normal. so i went back‚ ran the script on the phantump and trevenant models‚ and unshinified them #then edited these two posts to be normal. i have left the original pictures i took under the cut for reference and as bonuses #because i really enjoy phantump. so that's why those images are there‚ and that's why these tags are here #just for posterity's sake‚ the folks who come here mostly for my commentary‚ i've left the ORIGINAL tags of the post when i initially #made it with the SV pictures up at the top (i wanted to rearrange them‚ but tumblr makes that Very difficult‚ so i left them as-is) #so if these tags are confusing to read i Apologize. but i hope now that you're at the bottom you understand what happened #i'm gonna go edit the trevenant post now

okay, so. eiffel likes music. i like to make lists about eiffel. i wanted to make a list of (at least most of) the songs/bands he references, particularly the ones he directly says he likes. there aren't really a whole lot of surprising revelations here, but if you would also like an overview of eiffel's music taste, well. here it is.

- ep 54: “you gotta check out some of the latest advancements. otis redding. zeppelin. taylor. sir mix-a-lot. i think he’s been doing some of the best scientific work of the last fifty years.” ↳ i would like to be able to give you an alternative explanation. i would like to be able to be like, well, clearly he means singer-songwriter james taylor. he means guitarist mick taylor. he doesn’t. he means taylor swift. you can feel free to suggest another artist who it would make sense to only call ‘taylor’ in this context, but first keep in mind he’s a millennial in a show written by millennials and the writers do, in fact, listen to taylor swift. i’m resigned to it.

- ep 61: pryce mentions “the first two queen albums” as an item in eiffel’s memory

he also agrees with hera that “yeah, this is nice” about the transmission in bach to the future, but doesn’t recognize the piece. further confirmed by a little night music that eiffel’s familiarity with classical music is ‘yeah, i’ve heard this somewhere’ at best. he can’t name any of it.

of the songs and artists listed here, the ones that he is directly saying he likes and/or doesn’t have some clear contextual reason to reference are: ‘mercedes benz’ (and janis joplin in general), ‘anarchy in the uk’, john williams, ‘all along the watchtower’, otis redding, led zeppelin, taylor (swift? i guess?), sir mix-a-lot.

that said, i think you can safely assume he likes pretty much all of these things. they occupy some space in his mind, anyway. so what conclusions can you draw from that? uhh. well. he mostly likes classic rock? he’s a guy who still listens to the radio? he has, all things considered, incredibly normal taste?

none of that is really news, but there you go.

Physical Description:

Physique: Micah has a well-toned physique and a confident stance. She stands tall and limber, always ready for a fight. Her skin is tanned from the sun.

Scars: She bears several scars. There is one from an injured moose when she was a teenager that nearly gored her on her right side. A severe burn on her lower back that wraps around to her stomach and her left leg from a car crash and the ensuing fire. She also has several other scars from various hunting and fishing mishaps, and a few deep gashes from learning how to wield and throw knives. Her GSWs are well-healed and barely noticeable.

Hair: Her long brown hair has a side shave on her left, while the rest reaches her lower back, and is so dark it almost seems black. She sometimes wears it in other styles or lets it grow out, (especially to please John, whom hates the side shave.) She's been known to dye it on some occasions as well.

Eyes and Face: She has deep green eyes, with thick brows and lashes, that usually look suspicious or mocking, even when she's neither. She has strong cheekbones and full lips, often in a scowl or mocking grin.

Tattoos: She has several tattoos hidden beneath her clothing. Most notably: a hawk on her back right shoulder, half sleeves on both upper arms that detail people, places, or events that were once important to her, and a snake that wraps around her left thigh from knee to hip. The snake's mouth is open and holding an older tattoo, the hand-drawn initials, "J.D." (John's handiwork when he still went by Duncan.)

She of course has the deputy "wrath" tattoo, and after joining the Project, John gives her several more cleansing tattoos with her confession.

Clothing: When not in her deputy's uniform, she prefers jeans and comfortable tanks, t-shirts, and flannels, and of course, her trusty cowboy hat. Many of her tees are from bands, concerts, or local festivals. She has one from an archery competition she won as a teenager that she still wears. She also treasures her Rye & Daughter Aviation tank, a gift from her oldest friend, Nick, to remind her of him and her goddaughter, Carmina.
