NOT her brother, you tools. 🙄
This is what the San Bernardino Sheriff's Department was hiding. Estranged son of a Florida cop who wanted to kill cops.
Travis Ikeguchi, a "christian," shot and killed Laura Ann Carleton for displaying an LGBTQ Pride flag.
There's no hate like christian love.
"This was part of a Republican-led stochastic terrorism campaign. It's doubtful that this will be the last death at the hands of the Republican Party's radicalized foot soldiers— be they organized fascist militant groups or random individual terrorists."

Censure resolution offered, but Republicans will likely table it because they support such wackos.

I hate it when xtians reduce my religious trauma to "a religious person said something mean to you once so now you're mad at religion".
Like, shut the fuck up. My trauma isn't just someone being a little rude to me once, it was systematic, deliberate manipulation with the threat of possible eternity of suffering in Hell if I didn't obey religious rules and "keep Christ in my heart". It was "Nonbelievers burn in a lake of eternal fire. Tell your friends to convert to our faith or they'll be damned for eternity".
I have suffered from anxiety, ocd and other mental health issues for several fucking years because of this shit. I've suppressed my sexuality and felt terrible guilt just for the 'sin' of having sexual thoughts. I've feared for my loved one's souls, genuinely believing they would go to Hell for simply not being xtians and that I'd never see them again in the afterlife.
These beliefs are sick and twisted. What I went through was sick and twisted.
I seriously don't know what to say to you if you still think telling anyone, let alone a child, that they're going to be damned for eternity if they disobey 'God's word' is totally fine and not abusive.
Know your fucking place and stop speaking over trauma survivors who have been hurt by your shitty religion.

I mean, they been a cult. A death cult for the NRA, a hate group for the KKK, Proud Boys, Oath Keepers, etc etc etc. Republicans (writ large) are just an extension of the Tea Party & the Confederacy, and whatever other shitty misogynistic racist movements preceded those shitty misogynistic racist movements
I was about to say, “Here’s to hoping they gulp down ALL the Kool-Aid when he loses,” but if the election of 2016 taught me anything, it’s to never underestimate the propensity of a majority of white voters to vote for thee worst possible candidate.

Unfortunately, Trump’s loss at the ballot box and in court is not guaranteed, not by any stretch of the imagination.
They’re a cult.
So no matter what, let’s don’t get too cocky.
We still gotta do the work.

I see a lot of people crying on here about how terrible this and that is, how they want walkable cities, and how they want change… guys…
YOU are no longer twelve years, most of you all are well over 18.
If you want changes in your city, run for public office.
Voting is great, but people in elected positions have a great deal of power. The future needs good, smart, visionary people for public office! If you think everyone in politics is stupid, get involved with your local elections…. because people who want to ruin your life and take away your freedoms have a calling from god to run for any and every public office to take you down.
Don’t sit and wait for great leaders, become them!

Don’t forget US midterm elections are Tuesday, November 8, 2022!
During this midterm election year, all 435 seats in the House of Representatives and 35 of the 100 seats in the Senate will be contested. Besides that, many states also have governer, city council, local school board positions, and various propositions on the ballot. PLEASE VOTE IN YOUR LOCAL ELECTIONS ! The people in charge of your city, county, and state affect your life way more than the federal government, in my opinion. Also, the more people we have in charge who will actually try to improve things, the better. We gotta start local and build from there. Register to vote and check your voter registration here
If you have stamps and free time you can sign up to send postcards and letters to encourage more people to vote:
vote forward
postcards to swing states
activate america
center for common ground

op of that post blocked me but i'm gonna say one fucking thing. someone writing rape porn about a child harms that child. i don't know why you think it's just a totally cool thing for a pedophile to write porn about real kids. that kid is gonna be harmed psychologically if they find out groups of adults are writing porn about them??? i don't give a fuck about what the law says, you condoning that makes you a bad person. hope you grow an empathy bone soon
As soon as you're writing a FICTIONAL STORY, it ceases to be about a real human being. It is a fictional character on a page that uses the same name and nothing more.
If you're showing porn to a minor, that is a crime because it directly affects that physical person.
It is not a crime to write stories, no matter what happens in those stories, because it does not cause those events to suddenly become real. You can rape, murder, torture, etc. in stories because they are fictional.
A story is not a voodoo doll. It doesn't magically make fictional events happen to real people.

"What Parents Don't Know about Comic Books"
Seduction of the Innocent Prototype Pamphlet, "What Parents Don't Know about Comic Books" by Dr. Fredric Wertham (Ladies Home Journal & Baptist General Convention of Texas, 1953). An eight-page rehearsal for the anti-comics tirades of quack psychiatrist Wertham, whose bestselling book, Seduction of the Innocent, would help to bring about the repressive Comics Code Authority in 1954.

Gotta love it how right wing conservatives keep talking about the 'fragile woke people' being 'sensitive snowflakes' when they themselves have huge victim complexes and throw temper tantrums when you dare to point out the racism / homophobia / transphobia / ableism / religious abuse & manipulation / etc. in their talking points.

I don't know how anyone can take right-wing news seriously. They literally flashed up a chunk of footage of people standing around with signs and chanting and then go "THIS IS JUST LIKE JANUARY 6TH" What level of brainrot do you have to have?

I'm starting my blog off strong with the most insane book I've ever seen that was being sold at Books a Million, you know, a chain book store

Have yall ever thought that Christians are simply too nice and caring and loving they neighbor? Have you ever wanted to go apeshit and have it be justified by your Christian God? Then Lucas Miles of Nfluence Church has the right book for you!!
You know, Jesus, the guy who fed the hungry and healed the sick? Yeah, I definitely think that he would agree that we were all just too obsessed with public health during a pandemic (sarcasm) (I'm not deeply Christian but I don't think Lucas and I are reading the same book)
I also appreciate bringing the Red Scare into the 21st century. That's definitely what we need as a country Lucas
