Korekiyo Shinguuji is a staple of my blog. It hasn't happened in a while, but two of my character essays get recognised in the wild - my first Shinguuji essay and my "in defence of Mika Shimotsuki" essay. (But yous voted Shimotsuki out, so that probably doesn't hold a lot of weight.) If you've followed me for a while, you've probably seen a few of my "oh no. I thought about Shinguuji." posts in your lifetime. I don't know why he eats at me like this. I hear he's a little fucked up, actually, but that's just a rumour. Wasn't he reformed and a teacher now anyway? (/ref). Danganronpa is also a fandom I am known for, so that could influence your vote. (Do I have a tulpa?) Anyway, does all of this mean he should win my blorbo tournament?

River actually made it all this way! That's actually really touching. She is an extremely important character in To the Moon and she is one of these characters I unequivocally consider important to me. Among the four current contestants, she's definitely the oldest of my blorbos. (...In-universe as well. I have yet to see Sebastian in his old age.) She is an extremely touching character who carries with her a deep frustration her entire life - something with which I have found myself relating. She's also the only girl left among the contestants, so vote wisely! Like I mentioned in the previous rounds, the "river" in my art username "arollingriver" stands for her. Does this mean she should win my blorbo tournament? ( •̀ ω •́ )✧

the way to the moon is about holding on (to the promise you don't even remember making, to the person you loved, to the life you never got to live but refuse to give up). it's johnny choosing to be with river time and time again, it's johnny holding on to all the paper rabbits river made even if he didn't know their significance, it's river keep trying to remind johnny of their shared past, it's river giving up her treatment so a place that means the world to her is protected, it's eva and neil trying their hardest to send johnny to the moon, it's eva taking the risk in hopes of making it

the way finding paradise is about letting go (of your mistakes, of the unrealistically perfect life you never lived, of the person who helped you through your darkest times but who now keeps you stuck in the past). it's colin letting go of faye despite being afraid, it's colin keep replacing pages in his book with new ones, it's faye knowing that colin never needed sigmund's help, it's faye telling colin he has to let go of her if he wants to live fully, it's neil and eva trusting faye despite what it means for them, it's neil taking the risk in hopes of making it

River is a very important character to me. She doesn't need to do a lot, she'll always be touching to me. To the Moon is such a bittersweet story and River's role in it is something to say the least. In the past, I considered going by "River" in reference to her, and the "river" in my art username is a reference to her. There's something about her... If you know her, you probably get it.

It's so embarrassing because it's such a stereotypical GHOST fan thing but Apotropaism (or. apple the pagan's son.) does bad things to my brain. I'm listening to it right now and I shouldn't be. A genuine risk. I hyperfixate on it so bad. I'm actually not kidding, I'm obsessed with the ways this song sounds to an unhealthy point-- and I think GHOST is a good producer, I'm not like . You know I'm an adult and all. And look at this guy it's like he was designed JUST for me. I love UmbraticForest's voice too. Oh no Hunter what are you doing with that gun nooooooooo

(I'd actually not listened to the song for a very long time because of my weird fixation with it - once I start listening to it, I might not be able to do anything else, and need to replay it unless my brain is convinced I've played it enough. I think I'm fine right now, though. I'll let you know if I ended up stuck in a loop when this posts)
