When Worlds Collide

As the camera starts out staticky, you can hear a dark chuckle. Once the static clears out, a rather strange, mixmatched, dragon-like creatures comes into view.

"Hello, everypony! Should I say everyone. Allow me to introduce myself. I'm Discord, spirit of chaos and disharmony!"

"Originally, I wasn't scheduled to make my Tumblr debut until much later, but a certain mod informed me that desperate times call for desperate measures. Something on the line of... 'notifications'?"

"Though as exciting as it is for me to show my face early, my only complaint would be the fact that I have to SHARE this blog with others. But I suppose this will have to do for now. Perhaps if things go well here, I'll be able to have my own personal blog down the line..."

"With that being said, let's get this show on the road! I've been sent here to summon several muses here that I'm sure you'll be happy to see! After all; a lot of them are people you've met before I assume?"

And with that, Discord snapped his fingers. Just like that, tons of people(and one pony), appear. They look around in confusion before turning to face the odd creature that was before them.

“UwaaaaaaAAAAAAHHH!!!”

The spikey-haired boy ran into hiding. Oddly enough, two of them looked and dressed exactly like him. One went after the more timid version to check of him, while the other had bandages, all over his torso, arms and legs(I have no sprites for that one! T_T)

"W-what that f&ck is that?!?!"

'Kyaaaaaaah! It's a monster!'

"I'm going to assume that this is the creature who brought us here. But... why?"

Discord was rather disappointed by certain reactions as he turned away.

"A simple 'thank you' would've sufficed! But I suppose most of you aren't much a fourth-wall breakers now aren't you...? How rude! To think I actually did this to help you all on your current predicament-"

Before the draconaquus could finish his sentence, a certain pink pony zoomed in and gave him a super tight hug from behind.

"GYAAAAAGH!!!"

"Discord! Thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you sooooooo much for bringing us all together! I'm so happy to finally be able meet all my neighbors at once! I thought it going to take like... foreeeverrr to meet a few of them at a time! And I SO thank our mod a bejillion times for this too! And that best part is... you now get to be a part of this too! This is the best! Decision! EVERRRRRRRR!!!"

(Hello everyone. Mod Princess here. So basically, this is a chaos blog mashing @ask-timid-makoto-naegi, @danganronpa-v3-demo-au, @your-pink-party-pony, and @sole-survivor-makoto-naegi altogether. This is being done due to the recent changes on tumblr regarding the notifications. I figured that I'd have some fun and add Discord from MLP into the blog as well.

So this is what's going to happen from here on out. Every event and starter I decide to do regarding any of my other blogs are going to start off here from now on. You also can also RP on the chaos blog if you'd like. It will just require me to use other blogs to respond depending one which of my muse(s) you are interacting with. I will also be using this blog for any and all RPs that I didn't get notified on.

Aster recommends this to me as an alternative option to constantly pinging, and so far it seems to have worked after @unofficialuserluser tested it out. So now I'm giving it a go. Fingers crossed this continues to work!

Edit 5/5/2023 - Okay so I wasn’t informed until like… just now the the problem has been fixed. REALLY wish someone would’ve told me this sooner before I went ahead and made this blog. Nonetheless, it’s here and people are already interacting. So I’ll need to figure out an alternative. If you still want to interact, go ahead and do so.

can you clarify something in your rules: i'm curious what "pwHPD" stands for. the only thing i can think of is "histrionic personality disorder" which is a highly stigmatized trauma response, primarily affecting survivors of gendered violence. is this what you're referring to or is there something else?

im currently in therapy n recovering from an abusive ex she had hpd n used her pd as an excuse to be abusive bc of her i developed ptsd gerd n ibs bc the chronic traumatic stress she n the relationship put me under

one of the things shed do is fake all kinds of disorders n symptoms n personal crisis for attn or when i needed support from her shed pretend to have smth worse going on so that id have to be the one supporting her while ignoring my own needs

i have these chronic lifetime conditions ima take to my grave all bc i loved the wrong person n yeah i dont want anyone who fakes disorders for attn to interact w me or this blog both from the standpoint of being a person who is actually sick n its shitty when someone treats ur struggles as some fun rp thing or aesthetic or quirky personality trait n also as a person who was abused by a abuser w hpd who weaseled her way into my life by faking a false sense of connection thru pretend disorders she didnt have then turning around n abusing me by forcing me into a caregiver role for her to fix the disorders n illnesses n symptoms n crisis she didnt rlly have

// I'm not gonna do a Munday meme rn bc I'm busy, but I will make a Munday post on something I feel needs regular repeating.

What we're not gonna do is take someone's personal relationship to sexuality as their sociopolitical stance on it.

This stems from the umpteenth accusations of prudishness I see directed at Alastor muses, as well as my own experiences as a sexaverse aroace trying to navigate progressive spaces.

Someone can be sex-positive as a social stance -- you know, supporting safe, sane & consenting adults doing what they want, being against the moralization of sex (e.x. no you're not immoral for doing it outside of, say, marriage), being against the moralization of virginity (particularly in young women), supporting safe sex education instead of abstinence only education, being against victim blaming, supporting sex workers' rights to a safe work environment & fair pay & other workers rights, being against the stigma sex workers face (esp when applying for other jobs), all that good stuff, w/e

while also personally not wanting sex, not wanting to interact with sexual media, not wanting to hear about their friends' sex lives, not wanting to present themselves or be viewed in a sexual manner, etc

Alexa said it already. Some people are overcorrecting and think that sexual liberation means everyone needs to be okay with everything, and with disclosing everything. Not everyone's liberation looks the same.

For some people, it looks one way, for some, it looks another. I have friends who do OF and I support it and I personally would crawl out of my skin at the thought of letting anyone view me in a sexual manner. I support my friends who have multiple consensual partners while I don't want anyone touching me. For them, their liberation looks like engaging with their sexuality and while maintaining full agency. For me, it looks like refusing to participate in the expectation that I, as a human, am sexual, or that I, as someone perceived as a woman, ought to be attractive & palatable to cishet men. Or something like that.

Anyway. I think it's really harmful for ace people, other sexaverse people, questioning people, trauma survivors, etc to be told that having personal aversions or disintrest around sex is a regressive thing.

So like. That's my RP pet peeve. If a muse is ignorant, that's fine! What I get tired of is the OOC assumption that Alexa is a prude or has moral hangups around sex. He doesn't. He's just a generally sexaverse ace who sometimes experiences sexrepulsion too. It's not an issue with what other people do.

Oh and this goes doubly bc Alexa literally spouts the stupidest shit on air, including claims that he singlehandedly fucked the divorce rate into a spike in the sixties, and that he has all sorts of fetishes from feet to electrocution, like... how y'all gonna see that and call him a prude I'm deceased

There was static on the screen for several minutes, followed by the sound of mechanical parts whirring and two voices being heard. The first voice, a older human male seemed to grow more distant, eventually leaving (which can be assumed by the sound of a shutting door) and the camera flicked on.

It was silent for a moment before the sound of someone clearing their throat could be heard, and a robotic male stepped in front of the camera, flashing an innocent smile and waving his hand. He seemed cheerful, and almost excited to be here.

“Hello! My name is K1-B0, But my friends call me Kibo. It is great to meet you all! I hope we can all get along.”

Welcome to Blackwood Pines Sanatorium and Spa Resort! + About The Blog and Mun

Welcome! This RP blog has been in the works for,,, well over a year now based on how I accidentally reblogged an aesthetic post over a year ago. Oops. But with the short and sweet Gordon-centric one-shot intro I am finally ready to do something with it! The Inpatient still holds my brain deep in its grasp and I’m willing and able after a turbulent year to finally do something about it. Hence expressing my love for it in roleplay form!

Meet The Twins

Though never featured simultaneously, both Gordon and Anna are integral parts of the player’s focus during their stay at the sanatorium, this (and just my love and intrigue of them as characters in their own right) is why I’ve made this joint account to put myself in their shoes and grow their stories.

My personal headcannon despite their quite separate existences, is that they are fraternal twins, with Gordon being the older sibling by minutes. Their personalities and quotes are just different enough for them not to just be copy-pasted characters of different genders, but also similar enough to imply closeness. One could say they are spouses, and that is also super valid, just not the way I choose to roleplay them. Particularly since I headcannon Gordon as gay.

Most of the basis I have for this blog is centered around a timeline where Gordon was trapped in the cell with the inpatient player character and became the one infected by the curse. Where it diverges, though, is that Anna was also one of the survivors and she was able to come back in time to save him from full transformation. This leaves him partly mutilated, nearly invincible, and stuck with the wendigo spirit inside his head lest it be released to torment or doom another person. Hence the name: Wendigordon. (Clever, right?)

However, that’s merely a skeleton of my own creation and not some strict canon. So whether these two are trapped on a mountain in 1952, in high school/college with the other Until Dawn kids, or in some wild, dragon-filled fantasy setting with who knows what to face, I am excited for it all! Maybe they’re interacting with one of their old colleagues before the events of the game? Maybe there’s a timeline where Gordon was killed by the inpatient and now Anna has to deal with her grief and learn to forgive? I don’t know, the possibilities are endless!

Whether you are a seasoned roleplayer with tons of OCs, a UD roleplayer who’s been dying for more threads as the community has shrunk, or someone with zero experience who’s been wanting to roleplay as an Inpatient character I welcome you one and all!

About the Blog:

I tag each post with their related character, whether it be threads of aesthetic posts I make/reblog to make things a tad more organized. Anybody I have a thread with will also be tagged in the threads we share as well.

Understanding that the UD fandom is much smaller than it used to be and the need for these two characters is small, I’m very malleable about AUs and backstories. The bios I have in mind for both the characters are merely defaults and basic skeletons for them to start with!

Communication is key! If I as a mun, or these muses as characters, do something you are uncomfortable with, please do not hesitate to shoot me a message and I will either explain why such a thing happened, or I’ll learn how to handle this blog better! This also goes for certain things that may need to be tagged. I will try to be proactive for triggers and such, but if there is something I do not cover, please tell me.

All NSFW will be tagged accordingly, and there will be zero smut threads with minors. There are so many non-sexual/non-romantic thread ideas and starters so I look forward to roleplaying with as many people as possible no matter their age - but for any smut themed thread, you will need to be 18+.

This is a multi-ship account, and most separate relationships will be treated as if they are in separate universes.

I do have an Inpatient OC who may be referenced in tagging or aesthetics, but he will be largely uninvolved unless someone wishes for me to include him as a character I play.

Disclaimer of course that my use of the W word is in no way meant to be offensive as I understand its sacredness and the discomfort it can give to people. Seeing as the game and its whole theme rests upon this creature and the lore surrounding it, however, it is very hard to avoid. My apologies. ♥

About The Mun:

I have plenty of years of RP experience, with preference for paragraph-style roleplay. I’m far from a fancy roleplay blogger and I don’t do anything strenuous with fonts or icons - I’m just here for fun and to hone my writing. I can be very nervous when talking to someone new, but getting to know my roleplay partners and plotting stuff is one of my favorite parts of the hobby, so please don’t be shy! is your character popular in the fandom? YES / NO. [ Nope. Most people just call ZPiW the game with anime girls wielding guns. Outside of me, not much fanart is produced of the peach boy, as it’s well, mostly the girls. Miiverse revealed that the ratio is a bit more even but still, peeps really like them girl designs (designed by a female artist) ]

is your character considered hot™ in the fandom? YES / NO / IDK. [ i mean ?? i’ve met and seen many people who have/had crushes on geno so ??????? but i don’t think it’s like. that. ghfskjhgsg??? ]

is your character considered strong in the fandom? YES / NO / IDK. [ Personally, I have to say yes. Momotaro is strong as frick because in game, you’re supposed to level towns to “clean them up”. And this is in addition to the traditional Momotaro folktale that, a Momotaro is a strong child who can lift. However, most just look to Snow White as the strongest cuz she dented metal bare handed...and well is the “face” of the game.]

are they underrated? YES / NO / IDK. [ This game is better known for having girls...with guns. But I wouldn’t say he’s really *that* underrated, considering the basic character is just that...basic. ]

were they relevant for the main story? YES / NO. [ Well, my theory is that he just stumbled upon the fight between survivors and zombies so...kind of yes? Momotaro was one to actually gather folks to storm the castle as they say, because it seems before hand the other heroes were just minding their own business. So, being the one who talks the most (ironically) and the one that the game follows...yeah he’s relevant.]

were they relevant for the main character? YES / NO / THEY’RE THE PROTAG. [ Sadly so, in the sense that I wished the devs would’ve allowed for branching plots depending on which character you choose. This is including the fact that the game is purposely trying to emulate how old-school games were bare bones in characterizations and plot.]

are they widely known in their world? YES / NO. [ Just another folklore hero in the world of Wonderland...a place chock FULL of fairy tales and folktales. Though he might’ve garnered a reputation of being destructive after ZPiW... ]

how’s their reputation? GOOD / BAD / neutral. [ ]

HOW STRICTLY DO YOU FOLLOW CANON? — Ehhhh...I think I make do with what I got from the teeny breadcrumbs of canon I got...however, many folks commented that Momotaro looks WAAAAAAY tougher than what I make him out to be so...I guess that’s a fail for following canon strictly on my part. .w.;; If I truly went 1:1, things may be bland...or not...I mean there’s as many subversions to the traditional heroes as there are well, the typical shounen stuff.

SELL YOUR MUSE! AKA TRY TO LIST EVERYTHING, WHICH MAKES YOUR MUSE INTERESTING IN YOUR OPINION TO MAKE THEM SPICY FOR YOUR MUTUALS. — Is Momotaro an OC at this point? Probably. But hey, if you guys want a lad who’s adorable but tough...you could look elsewhere...or you can find that in Momo! I wanted to try to represent some stuff of special needs, but I’m still working out the kinks...but the kid’s loyal, and a very good cook at that! He definitely needs a confidence booster, but could that be part of his charm? Maybe. But hey, I think y’all might really like the idea I got for him, and mainly Smash! Like, have you ever wondered what goes on in that mansion? ...well yes, but what about those who aren’t fighters? Or even assist trophies! That’s where the smash verse comes in! Take a peek into the (tough) lives of Waddle Dees and the peach boy, along with other creatures not suitable for Smash! They’re just as handy for making sure the place is well run and fed! If someone isn’t cleaning and cooking to maintain 70+ fighters, and 20+ assist trophies...who is?

NOW THE OPPOSITE, LIST EVERYTHING WHY YOUR MUSE COULD NOT BE SO INTERESTING (EVEN IF YOU MAY NOT AGREE, WHAT DOES THE FANDOM PERHAPS THINK?). — This is a character from a game whose designers may appreciate the female figure a bit too much. I always have a tough time recommending this game to others, and hell, I’m terrible at playing it myself. Hell, the fact that most of the characters are minors is just a...”why do you design them like this Bo.mi” thing. Most do seem to think highly of those designs though, as that’s the main aspect of the game I keep hearing in my searches. Now, I’ve received a good amount of concerns over the years that Momotaro not speaking proper English is either racist or babyish...or both. Is my take too depressing? There are often times I think yes, and feel unbelievable shame over it despite others going hard on the angst train.

WHAT INSPIRED YOU TO RP YOUR MUSE? — Well uh, I believe I was charmed by his rugged but baby appearance in the game..and it just so happen at the time that I was part of a budding rp group. Despite the theme being mostly “OUENDAN”, that was the start of me shoving Momotaro into every fuckin’ thing because he’s cute as shit and obscure muses can be fun too! It was also probably relaxing for me because gosh dang back then I was scared of getting something wrong about someone canon with more lore...and I am still scared about that to this day.

WHAT KEEPS YOUR INSPIRATION GOING? — Studying about Japanese culture, learning the language...the fact that I’ve been rping him for almost 10 years (read like 8-9 at this point)...I do wonder if I should stop rping him...and then I keep hearing that people only want characters only in as fighters, fighters are the only important thing about smash and that grows my weird spite and just continue this “backstage” plot of Smash. Yes, getting a franchise in as a fighter is a VERY high commemoration but, I think it’s just as equally amazing when a franchise gets in as an assist trophy or even a spirit/trophy! So yeah it’s petty and I better find some other motivation soon because it’s exhausting.

SOME MORE PERSONAL QUESTIONS FOR THE MUN.

give your mutuals some insight about the way you are in some matters, which could lead them to get more comfortable with you or perhaps not.

do you think you give your character justice? yes / NO / I SINCERELY HOPE I DO? [ Ahaha....I’m starting to give up on that idea at this point, as several noted that Momotaro isn’t as timid in canon as I write him. But I do try to keep those boneheaded traits of the peach boy in my portrayal. ]

do you frequently write headcanons? YES / NO / SORT OF? [ It’s a must for Momotaro, whose game is a tribute to how the old timey arcade games didn’t have much to their plots. Otherwise, I would think that playing him would end up pretty dry..whether I play him closer to canon or not. ]

do you sometimes write drabbles? YES / NO [ ...I should write more. ]

do you think a lot about your muse during the day? YES / NO [ Stupidly yes. Been playing him for 8 years so it’s a hard habit to break. ]

are you confident in your portrayal? YES / NO / SORT OF? [ I mean, if I wasn’t confident enough I would’ve dropped him...though I have thought about that several times. There be times where I run into some sort of writer’s block due to his meek (and traumatized) nature, and because of how he speaks, it’s scary. Am I pushing his issues too much...? Or just HIM in general...? ]

are you confident in your writing? YES / NO. [ Again, writer block happens when some muses don’t click, or personally I don’t want to interact with someone. And then when I do want to write with someone, I fear that my simpler (children’s book) ways of writing would be a turn off. I don’t want to end up babbling too long that there’s too much detail but I shudder at seeing single lines in response to long prose. ]

are you a sensitive person? YES / NO. / sorta. [ Yeaaaah i get stressed and cry at lot at confrontation and just...anxiety in general. Been trying to keep that off the dash though, as I’m sure peeps got their own troubles already. DMs are good to have y’all. ]

DO YOU ACCEPT CRITICISM WELL ABOUT YOUR PORTRAYAL? — I do my best to take crits when I get them but sometimes it just haunts me because I have mixed feelings on being told that the way he speaks is racist or childish. But hey, if you got more advice on how to write trauma and special needs, I’m all ears! Particularly because I’m writing from my own experience in my life and research. ...Dad isn’t that superb at speaking English and that's where I got the Momo speak.

DO YOU LIKE QUESTIONS, WHICH HELP YOU EXPLORE YOUR CHARACTER? — Yes please...but at this point I kinda have sadly accepted that’s just gonna be rare because he’s obscure.

IF SOMEONE DISAGREES TO A HEADCANON OF YOURS, DO YOU WANT TO KNOW WHY? — as my take on Momotaro is very meek, I’d like to see how one would take on a more confident/more canon true take on him. But that’s a pipe dream. Coruse the only headcanon I will never take (that I fear the fandom will have due to perverted nature) is that he’s just a fuckin harem protag wanting to get into pants. To that I say: NO. In canon he doesn’t give a fuck about the fact his teammates are girls...or even acknowledges that they're girls. It’s the time to survive, not boogie on beds...or at a tree.

IF SOMEONE DISAGREES WITH YOUR PORTRAYAL, HOW WOULD YOU TAKE IT? — I anticipate that wholly because again, I have gotten comments that my take on Momotaro has not properly prepared them to witness the sheer destruction and toughness that is canontaro. Honestly I’d be hyped to see more takes...except for the harem route ones. Am I gonna jinx myself for saying it that much?

IF SOMEONE REALLY HATES YOUR CHARACTER, HOW DO YOU TAKE IT? — I probably would be sad but understanding...I mean it’s not the first time that someone has taken deep offense at Momo and me, mainly in the rp sense. I would hope they would at least go find something that makes them happy.

ARE YOU OKAY WITH PEOPLE POINTING OUT YOUR GRAMMATICAL ERRORS? — Yep yep. Or well stealth editing too, that helps.

new wishlist since i haven’t done these in a while. these can be done either on tumblr, google docs, or discord. feel free to hmu if any of these interest you. these are all for ocs, not really looking for canon characters so no worries about that, unless you really want too.

Tank x Healer - I prefer to play Healer, but won’t object to playing as a Tank. Genre: Slice of Life. Plot: Characters go on adventures together taking on quests. Essentially, I want a reason to create a smol cute healer who goes around bandaging up everyone!

MMORPG - Plot: A group of friends ( either in real life or they’ve met each other in the game ) play a MMORPG together, forming guilds, going on adventures, perhaps even meeting each other in real life and just talk strategies for the game. * w * ) Sort of like Sword Art Online GGO Alternative, FFXIV, or Recovery of an MMO Junkie. None of them are stuck in the game or anything like that, they’re just playing for fun!

Dead by Daylight - Plot: A group are forced into a new Realm and must complete the Generators and escape a Killer. More focused on the Survivors working together and the stress they go through.

Danganronpa - I want to create multiple OCs and can take the plot line and trials from the games if it’s too frustrating to create our own. I just want to create a bunch of eccentric characters and have them interact!

999 / Zero Escape - Love this game. Essentially the same as Danganronpa, where we could create a ton of characters who are forced to escape the Nonary Game. Of course, this one would be way harder to do since the plot is so... intricate and heavy, at least for a RP! But I’d be willing to try!

Zombie Apocalypse - We’d create a group trying to survive a zombie apocalypse. That’s it really, pretty basic lol... Prolly something like TWD.

Island Survival - Plot: A group is stuck on an island for whatever reason and are trying to survive and escape. Perhaps something / people are trying to hunt them down. Something like Lost or Far Cry.

Until Dawn - Plot: A group decides to go on a winter vacation to a cabin on the mountains before being hunted by a killer. Can follow the Until Dawn plot line of pranks and windegos, or can be an actual killer on the lose.

Prolly gonna add more later or create a new wishlist pretty soon as more ideas hit me. :>

messy af timeline for azgeda!erik because i never know when shit happens :

pre - series

seven when he killed his first man under his clan chiefs orders

carried out several other assassinations for his clan chief

was eventually discovered by queen nia

upon his rite of passage his clan chief gifted him with his sword

proceeded to kill his clan chief with his own sword

because queen nia ordered him to

assigned to azgeda’s strike teams during azgeda / trikru hostilities

eventually assigned to the front lines too

captured costia & brought her to the queen (yike)

left costia’s head in the commanders bed chambers (double yike)

killed a few other clan chiefs under royal orders until azgeda joined the coalition

was sent to polis as a “sign of good faith”

season 1

kinda uneventful tbh spends most of his time in polis learning how the coalition works

is mostly just a decorative symbol of the queens “willingness” to “cooperate” with lexa & the coalition

does eventually get sent to tondc when the delinquent drop ship appears, again mostly to spy or see how trikru deals with them

potentially can have interactions with trikru members, other azgeda or the delinquents for rp purposes but otherwise is sideline spectator only

season 2-3

most of erik’s shenanigans happen “off screen”

is called back to azgeda when farm station crashes in their territory

was sent with tybe’s strike clan to attack farm station

did partake in killing farm station children and civilians

(was under orders but still extremely yike yike yike)

hunted pike and other farm station survivors to the border between azgeda and trikru territories

got into a sword fight with pike just shy of the border

received a cut across left cheek for his troubles & pike was dragged across the border line so erik didn’t pursue them

goes to polis with queen nia and ontari and stays with ontari following the queens death

ontari orders him to take the chip. spends the rest of the time as one of a.l.i.e’s brainwashed footsoldiers until clarke destroys the city of light

season 4

helps abby and clarke sneak into the azgeda embassy to heal roan (WITHOUT KILLING ANYONE) because he feels like he owes them for freeing him from a.l.i.e and because he wants his king to live

takes full responsibility for his actions and lowkey wants to get executed for betraying his people by helping skaikru

(for rp purposes he obvi doesn’t die but instead) he gets his back scarifactions struck off and is stripped of his title / position as an azenrayth

returned to farm station and remained there under tybe’s orders

was (kinda) nice to the farm station prisoners because there’s certain rules of prisoners of war he abides to like basic human decency and necessities like fucking food and water and rest (but tybe didn’t obvi)

remained under tybe’s orders until bellamy and crew turned up with the royal seal

was gonna kill tybe himself when the generator explodes

(for rp purposes) he’s captured by bellamy and crew and taken to arkadia where he can idk meet all the gang and eavesdrop on praimfaya and all the second dawn bullshit

idk gets released, goes to polis and watches the conclave. gets to hunker down w/ the bunker crew

season 5

spends 6 years with wonkru, probably did have to fight in the pits a few times because he’s a little shit who tends to get into fights on a regular but ultimately he’d not get too involved with bloodreina

(i’ve got a lot of thoughts on how the bunker sustained itself beyond food / water tbh but wonkru isn’t a thing that erik would particularly stand by. he’s azgeda and no one’s taking that from him)

also i have no idea what happens in this season beyond the major events so like

when echo shows up erik’s just gonna be like 👀 noah fence but im gonna side with her in all things now thanks bye

(alternatively) he could go with spacekru up to the ring, bit of a shock

would likely get along better with echo and emori rather than any skaikru for a while

mostly because they all know he was one of the warriors responsible for the slaughter and indentured servitude of farm station survivors

erik would be very interested in all the tech and would likely spend the time on the ring learning everything he can about machinery / technology and reading whatever digital books were available on the ring

on the ground he would have likely sought out any azgeda survivors in wonkru and spent the whole time siding with echo over any kind of decisions

season 6

An independent casual roleplay blog for Conrad from Man of Medan Canon divergent / primarily headcanon based, private, extremely selective

I. This blog is extremely low activity when I created this blog for mainly writing with my few closest mutuals who had known me from my main rp blog, @agathokakology, which is where I’m most active of. Along with having a busy schedule, erratic social energy and anxiety, please be patient with me. As I just want to write Conrad for fun and comfort, this is not a plot driven blog for those I’m not close to since I reserve the smallest braincells I have for the people who interacts with my main rp blog. In here, we’re all about the improv, babyyy. No assholes allowed in this blog, only people who knows how to be kind and considerate.

II. My boy, Conrad, here is extremely headcanon based because there’s a shit ton of stuff that happened to him that won’t make him the same person as he was in the game after the Man of Medan event, plus not much was known about him. Also, I still need to rewatch Man of Medan, so bear with me. In his main verse, he’s the sole survivor, though I still welcome any other Man of Medan muses for his alternate verses where everyone have survived, specific characters had only survived, before the Man of Medan event or it had never happened. I do not interact with duplicates because of anxiety, however. He have elements that doesn’t make sense to the structure of the universe / game, but they’re vibing to me and that’s sexy of me. Please do not steal anything from here or *Conrad vc* I will summon the super ghosts on you.

II. Mature and sexual themes will appear on this blog, specifically including horror, the supernatural / paranormal, death, unreality, grief, gore, mental illnesses, suicide, self-harm, alcohol addiction, and more. All tags will be tagged accordingly with a #trigger cw. Minors do not interact or face a hardblock. Conrad uses self-deprecating and dark humour around his traumas to cope with them and if you’re not comfortable with that, then this blog isn’t for you because he will get into them often. He can come cross as an asshole too, but don’t take his attitude to heart, especially when he’s a dumbass too. He has developed alcohol addiction from the trauma he had experienced, though I will not write him engaging in drinking while he’s recovering, as I do not wish to promote drinking when experiencing alcohol addiction.

III. I do not really practice main and exclusivity, but @srvivrsguilt is my main partner as I will only write with his Mike Munroe due to being extremely close to him and how much we had thought of our muses together. Also, Conrad is single shipped with his Mike. I’m always open to any other dynamics with him though, please love / hate my son.

IV. To those with Until Dawn muses, please be aware that I will never have this blog include the W*nd*go in any shape or form to give respect to the Indigenous people as the game had portrayed it under a bad light. It will only be referred as simply the “ Blackwood Mountain Monster “ and its design will be based on my own creation that I have yet to figure out. If you don’t vibe with this idea, then the door is the x symbol on your tab.

my opinion on;

character in general: It’s very easy to describe Byakuya in one word, he’s an asshole lmao. I can’t remember what my original thoughts were of him besides being very sure he would be a killer (I was certain he killed chapter 1 AND THEN chapter 2 and then I just gave up on the thought of him being a killer) but he’s a very complicated person. He’s worked hard for what he has, and he lives in a very competitive and cutthroat world and he’s adopted the correct persona to survive it so I can’t blame him for that–being nice would have gotten him nowhere. That doesn’t excuse his behavior in game though, as he was just yikes quite often. But along with the other survivors he grows, and he cares about them evident by him doing everything he can to save them in dr3. He also, despite my beliefs, never resorted to murder and that does say quite a lot about him–though he definitely has the potential to do so since there’s official art of what his execution would have been. He’s awkward and doesn’t know how to make friends because I’m sure any friends he’s ever had were shallow or betrayed him though that’s more… headcanony. I could talk about him forever but the jist of it is I do like him despite everything he’s done. Also I refuse to acknowlede dangaronpa: togami afsdhfghgh

how they play them: I actually have not seen much of your Togami so I can’t give you my opinion just yet. Though I do think he’s a difficult character to play so you have props for that. He’s mean a lot but he’s not evil, and there has to be a balance to that!

But of course this is all going w the idea that youre okay with it–I think they have great potential to be friends as it’d be beneficial to them both in more ways than one. it’s disturbing as hell that some of you lot think it’s cute and sexy to rp a father molesting his child and the fact that you make that shit public and follow me with that kind of blog is triggering. if you think grooming and violence against children makes a fun cute rp to spice up your love life don’t ever come near me or interact with me ever

i get maladaptive coping and self harming by reliving your abuse but honestly that’s toxic, and publicly normalizing and glorifying it whether you’re a survivor or not is adding to a massive problem. pro-self harm blogs are not a good way to cope, and when you make them public the harm you do is not just to yourself.

if you’re not a survivor maybe you don’t know what it feels like to be that child but i am telling you you’re fetishizing a horrific thing and you need to stop immediately. find a different roleplay.

if you’re a man who likes to pretend you’re raping someone you should go die immediately please

i have known a fair few child abusers, some of whom were my own abusers, and I’d like to leave you with the knowledge that many of them rp’d this shit with adults before or between doing the real thing. they find childhood sexy, they find abuse sexy, they are getting off to the idea of hurting a child and however they dress it up you should still run. and god PLEASE don’t have children with them.

Hi, Rob! I saw someone using the same FC as my main muse but her background is very rough and personality are completely different from mines. A dark theme which is what I am not fond of with the RP community and as I went through the muse's story it was heavy stuff and as a person who experienced child abuse & still hasn't recovered from it (sorry I am not trying to guilt trip!) It makes me extremely uncomfortable which is the main reason why I don't interact with OC's with (1/2)

OC’s w/ dark themes or villains who’re “anger me & I will kill you” types. Nothing wrong w/ muses who aren’t light/whimsical but the main point of this ask was that I saw the owner of that muse interact w/ one of my mutuals & I think they were complimenting each other & it made me felt deeply insecure. I was starting to think that I am boring because I’m not edgy and violent. I really don’t like it when a lot of people use abuse and mental illness to make their OC look unique or different (2/2)

;;I feel this is a very sensitive topic to be discussed but I am going to try to be very clear and thorough with my thoughts on the matter while hoping to not offend anyone in any manner what so ever .

First of all I would like to say that I am sorry you have had to endure what you did of abuse and I offer you my deepest sympathies and understanding and wish you the best on your road to recovery .

However , please keep in mind that just because your own experiences have affected your preferences does not mean everyone will share that outlook on things . You are under no obligation to write or be interested in dark themes but you also can not control other people’s preferences and just because you are not fond of these topics does not mean the person should avoid them , regardless of whether they share a similar face claim to yours or not .

The only concern in my opinion that could exist with using a same face claim is the theft of creative ideas and replicating which could occur , but seeing as from what you have mentioned both the original characters are very different in terms of their story , I would say this issue is not present here .

I will say it again , but you are under no obligation to interact with the type of muses you mentioned if it makes you feel uncomfortable , your comfort always comes first - all you can do is request that they tag and label things appropriately . I would also like to mention that I hope their blog and biography have provided warnings of their dark themes ? Because if they did then I think you should not have went through the muse’s story knowing very well it could serve as a trigger to you .

Now , please please please keep in mind that just because your partners compliment someone else does not mean they do not enjoy your character as well . Please remember humans in general have varying interests and can like two things that are entirely different and world’s apart but that does not mean they like yours any less and you should not jump to that conclusion .

Characters do not have to be violent or edgy to be interesting and I think it is a huge mistake to assume a character is boring just because it is light . A character’s darkness or lightness does not determine its level of interest but rather how deep and well developed the character is . Any character if well written can be interesting but again , people have different preferences and different people will favor different types of characters .

Even if some of your mutuals happen to favor darker themes , there will always be ones who appreciate more innocent stories just like you . You just need to find the right people who share your same interests and preferences to write with you and trust me , there are such people out there . Don’t lose hope and don’t feel bad or insecure because you are not boring for having different preferences .

Also I would like to request of you to please not generalize that everyone who includes mental illness or abuse does it to be unique or different . There is difference between romanticizing it and representing it . Representation is important and I think including such characters is important as well . For a lot of them , it is natural for their back stories that they do experience certain illnesses - the most common one for any one in such a universe in my opinion , being post traumatic stress as a result of their experiences . Including such is not wrong , but rather doing the character and the illness both justice .

However , I do agree that they are not accessories to be worn around and should not be added to characters lightly and offhandedly unless a person is willing to carry out the research and time needed to portray illness and survivors correctly . It is not a joke or something to be taken lightly and unfortunately a lot of people in the community do treat it as such and I am sorry you have had to bear witness to that .

I wish you the best of luck and I hope this was of at least some help to you , please take care of yourself and comfort first .

The inspiration-behind-the-trolls master post:

Damath: I saw a lot of haughty seadwellers super proud of their status and thought ‘what if there was a seadweller who lost at being a seadweller’ and damath was hatched. I basically wanted an asshole desperately clinging to his old status, and he hasn’t changed too drastically since then.

Haydel: I listened to Barrett’s Privateers and became inspired to write my own ‘pirate’ troll. She was fairly flat when I first wrote her. She didn’t even have a proper profile until recently despite being first designed several years ago. Originally she was just a drunkard pirate with bad aim, but now she’s a drunkard dancing pirate with middlin’ aim and a strong desire to kidnap trolls to be her lackeys so she can prove herself the toughest of all seadwellers.

Vollia: I dunno, I think someone literally just suggested ‘what if there was a troll based off one of those repo-men shows’ on MSPAF at one point and Vollia was hatched. She’s changed drastically since then. Original incarnation was still a drinker, but only to deal with the stupidity she dealt with on a regular basis. She was also fairly bloodthirsty and absolutely loathed subjugglators for ‘ruining’ the good name of indigos

Deviex: I was fresh off playing Bioshock and I wanted a lunatic doctor of my own. He was never a direct Bioshock rip-off, but I slipped in a few steinman jokes here and there and unfortunately that got him l labelled as such. He originally had a yellowblooded moirail that kept his homicidal medical intentions in check, but since her RPer turned into a huge prat stopped roleplaying, that is long gone and Deviex has since had no one to stop him from flying into a rage when told someone won’t submit for medical testing.

Remiva: ‘what if there was a highblood who made it his job to deal with these nice highbloods?’ I think I originally just designed him as an example profile for a fantroll help blog I used to run (boy that was a dumpster fire). Since I liked the concept of someone being a deliberate asshole to lowbloods for the sake of status while stabbing other people in the back to prove some philosophical point, I fleshed out his profile completely.

Charsa: Originally designed for a dieselpunk SGRUB rp that never took off, she used to be a very energetic and excitable inventor who routinely broke everything she made out of excitement. In the translation between that and here, she lost her excitable nature and become more tired than anything, partially as a result of how her AB turned out. Which is all well and good, I prefer the lazy/tired inventor archetype to the excited one. Plus she kept all the eccentric nature of what she builds with a mildly amused, nearly asleep-college-student attitude.

Kormut: He was my first fantroll. I just wanted a highblood that couldn’t be considered overpowered since I was super worried about accidentally being some sort of newbie rper who busted in with overpowered trolls that everyone auto-loved. So I gave him inexplicable bad luck. Some people guessed that his bad luck was entirely in his head, but it really wasn’t. He’s stayed pretty much the same since his inception, though his lusus turned from a Dune-esque sandworm into a slightly mutated lusus cougar instead.

Sapant: Hatched from the idea of ‘take an obscure character from a popular work and make them into a fantroll.’ He’s Owl Eyes from The Great Gatsby, albeit with his niceness significantly toned down to fit in with troll attitudes. He’s too new to have changed at all!

Newsen: One of the first new trolls I made following my impromptu hiatus. I saw a pair of torn jeans and a wicked hairstyle on a sprite sheet while listening to Dirty Laundry, so I figured a reporter intentionally sabotaging everyone else’s success for his own gain would be pretty amusing, especially if he was pretty disgusting himself.

Yegeri: He’s somewhat inspired by the Pinkerton Detective Agency (His name is formed from two different prominent Pinkerton detectives). You know, before they became some weird private security group. When they busted rum runners and such. He doesn’t get much any use because I’m not a big fan of the sprite I made for him, but I still like his personality.

Hovend: I wanted Yegeri to have a distaff counterpart that was absolutely not suited for police work whatsoever. What would happen if the worst person possible was thrust into a position where he had to do what he hated most? The answer is apparently regress into anime and origami folding.

Xrumon: Not gonna lie, I made him because I was annoyed with a certain someone’s representation of a troll brought back from near-death in robot form. Not to worry dear weird person reading this, it’s nobody that follows me. Their representation had the troll...blandly accept being saved, and they weren’t at all concerned with the ramifications of their new body. So I said ‘I can do it better’ and wrote up the mean spirited son of a bitch we all don’t know and certainly don’t love today. Turns out being trapped in a robot shell sucks.

Portec: There’s an episode of American Dad where Stan really, really, really wanted to get a helicopter or some shit. I saw that and decided I wanted a helicopter troll because it’d be funny (That’s a common theme). So Portec became reality, formed with a strong desire for coffee and a reckless attitude, he...really hasn’t changed all that much.

Deveii: He was originally a self-insert! Oh no! He had my worst personality traits of course, namely being my absolutely awful temper at the time along with cowardice. Thankfully he quickly grew way the hell away from being a self-insert through the power of Zagaya (his first moirail) taking him under his wing. He always retained his bad temper, however, and accidentally gained an affinity for dating highbloods.

Evelsi: I think rai dared me to make a troll that only spoke in like 50′s slang or some shit like that. For a while, that was basically his quirk! I had a whole page written up of various slang terms to use, while Evelsi was basically ‘hey remember the American 50′s? Weren’t those times wild?’ the troll. From that I gradually added onto him so that he became more of a rock n’ roll troll with a penchant for helping others gain friends/quadrants, and pretty much entirely dropped the 50′s schtick.

Remune: “I want a bartender that nearly kills people with what he makes.” That’s pretty much it. His sprite is one I’m really proud of, even if I used a base. His hair was a total bitch but I love how it turned out. He hasn’t changed much, though he originally had telekinesis as a power. I changed that to seismic sense so that I could play it into his alcoholism (Booze deadens the constant noise other trolls generate for him).

Gaveyo: I kinda just wanted an explorer type troll? I listened to the Legionnaire’s Lament by the decemberists and wanted a troll that evoked that song. A lot of my trolls are inspired by music. At first he was just gonna be a lil grumpy and v. tired and v. world weary, but he somehow turned into fat dickhead who ruins people’s nights for laughs. At least he kept his trait of collecting trinkets and mementos. Fun fact, his last name is a rearrangement of the word cloyed, which iirc means something that is really sweet or overly sappy. I have actual reasons for keeping it that way.

Chamlo: I wrote him for a special RP where mutants/undesirable would get to duke it out on an island. The last one standing would be allowed to rejoin the troll empire at large, having been granted the gift of life! And every other troll in the empire got to watch a sick, extreme version of survivor! Unfortunately the RP didn’t get enough applicants and then the MSPAF got nuked so oh well.

Adabon: I listened to Delta (C2C) and suddenly got inspired to make a troll who was a fan of bombs. But since that felt a little cliche, I wondered what else could one do w/ bombs. And then I remembered seeing a cartoon where some fool used an explosives challenge to paint a shitload of stuff at once and figured that’d be pretty fun! It worked out pretty well overall, I’d say.

Yarrex: Second fantroll ever. Most of his characterization came from when I first used him on MSPAF. I can’t remember if the cafe interactions or his profile came first. Either way he soon turned into a troll obsessed with balance. Then I did the stupidest thing ever and wrote myself into an Edgy Fanfic Corner(tm) by burning his hive down and killing his lusus because itsbadwriting.gif. Fortunately, people still liked him for whatever reason. I’ve retconned all of that so his lusus is quite alive and his hive is still standing, but I still have him reference his hive at least getting singed sometimes as a nod.

Argumi: “Boy, reading everyone’s thoughts would actually be a pretty horrible power. I know! I’ll make it so that you can’t turn it off! And you’re an empath!” And so began Argumi’s suffering. Most of my trolls are ‘inspired’ by sudden thoughts, really. First he was just an empath, then he turned into a mind reader, and now he’s an empath AND a mind reader. His life just gets worse every rewrite. But at least he’s more functional now than he used to be.

Famynn: Was written originally to be the Totally Awesome Doctor(tm) in a pirate RP. He would have performed surgery listening to stirring operas and complained about everyone else being little kids. Basically an incredibly old fashioned, anachronistic, asshole. But then the owner of said rp who shall remain nameless repeatedly made me lower his caste so their friends could get in instead. So he became brown and hopelessly incompetent as a doctor. Then the RP ended because oops the earlier mentioned prat was in it and the owner was no better. Later I used him in a better RP called Hunters (of the lost planet) where he was still the ship’s doctor. That’s where he got his jealous nature towards highbloods from! He’s been pretty much the same since, although his Alternian form has no doctor incliniations.

Marnin: I listened to Convoy or something one too many times and wanted a badass trucker troll. He was Not Great(tm). Really flat for my tastes and I’m a little embarrassed at how one-note he was. I was recently convinced to revive him by someone who actually liked him. I used it as a chance to completely revamp his personality (i.e. actually give him one) and change what he did completely. He’s not the same troll he used to be.

Abnage: I just wanted a con artist, really. His sprites belonged to a failed troll concept I tried out for a while, involving a hobo that flagrantly violated society’s norms to make some dumbass moral point. Unfortunately, that would mean being nice on purpose, and since everyone else’s trolls were nice at the time, the point was lost in translation.

Gerrel: Third fantroll ever! I wanted the ‘ideal’ lowblood, in a similar vein to how Kormut was a purposefully underpowered blueblood. I didn’t want people calling me mean names if I made an upstart lowblood, so I went in the opposite direction. Just about the only personality trait he retains from his original incarnation is his workaholic-please-everyone attitude. He used to be somewhat suave (at least, what, 15 year old me thought so?) and utterly confident in himself. He bored me to tears, honestly, since I wasn’t a very good writer and couldn’t work with him very well. He’s gone through the most rewrites out of all my troll’s until we got to his ULTIMATE FORM (the one he’s in now). Unfortunately this came at the cost of (oopsie) alienating the fire nation his matesprit, since I never RP’d him much and also randomly went on hiatus.

Platar: I wanted a gas mask troll who burned things. I think the original ORIGINAL idea I had was just ‘world war 1 troll.’ He always carried deadly clouds of poison around with him in sealed containers to show off to other trolls. He was also hideously scarred under his mask thanks to accidentally exposing himself to a large batch of mustard gas, a secret no one ever actually found out. He’s changed entirely up to this point, since he’s now an extremely loyal member of the empire hellbent on proving the worth of his supposed ancestor and burning out all traces of heresy and criminality from the glorious Empire.
