I had a dream about the filming of Good Omens s3 where they recorded all of David and Michael’s individual scenes first, and only allowed them to see each other on set once they filmed Crowley and Aziraphale’s reunion.

His fingers run through my hair, nails gently grazing my scalp. It’s all I need to focus on as I lay next to him. He let me up on the couch this time, since I had been so well behaved the last few days.

My eyelids were heavy but I wasn’t asleep, just fully enjoying the gentle pets. Every once in a while he would run his hand along my cheek and cup my face, looking down to see my eyes still closed, resting peacefully against him.

I could stay here forever, with the rain hitting the windows, the warmth from his body, the collar around my neck. I didn’t need to worry about tomorrow, or yesterday, or anything at all. Just behaving, resting, and enjoying the head scratches he rewarded me with.
