Related to the "sleepy greyhound" content, I can see Machete sleeping like Dracula. Stiff like a board with his arms crossed over his chest. Drama, even in his sleep

I don't know about full blown Dracula pose but he definitely has a habit of crossing his arms before falling asleep.

It's a guarded/protective gesture more than anything.

the footage of the séance had left kim shaken, but it was nothing compared to being there for the live show. she didn't remember what had happened to her parents, but she remembered the aftermath. she remembered their bodies. naoko had looked like them, for seconds, a flash of every dead face she'd ever loved. right before she'd clawed her own eyes out. the priest and salem had to get up and restrain her before she really clawed through them and who knew if the medium would retain any vision; she wasn't sure how things like that healed.

in the aftermath, she'd sent a text to an old boyfriend, feeling oddly forgiving, nostalgic, and afraid.

she didn't think he had her number anymore, so she signed it kimi, then felt that was too much, and changed it to kliu. she wasn't really sure she forgave him, even now, but she didn't know if she'd live to keep the grudge tended to. and she didn't want him to feel guilty for the way things were if none of the lunarie society made it out of the stokely farmhouse alive.

until then, her only other distraction was the footage. something in there had to tell her what happened to naoko. no one else would've seen her family's faces--grotesquely misshapen into death masks from naoko's gentle face. she really wanted to know what they'd seen; maybe nothing. she'd paused the footage, hearing a creaking behind her over the ambient noise in the headphones, and pulled out an earbud to see sadia's lanky form approaching her. she didn't know them as well as some of the others. she was dying to know what they'd seen and it made her feel guilty--the morbid curiosity reversing her role from survivor to voyeur.

"hey--" she said, unceremoniously, because what the fuck could be said of their friend seeing what came after death and removing the sense from her corporeal form entirely. hopefully they'd gotten some good news at the hospital. probably, they wouldn't. decided to start using firestorm for my photos. i’m so much happier with how shadows and light and shine look with firestorm than i am with black dragon. i really struggled with bd to get the appearance i wanted in my pics. i’m really happy with how this turned out. i only photoshopped the background. the lighting and particles and my avatar are unedited.

i also made my own black eye drips. it was something i wasn’t able to find on my own compatible for evox. i’m really happy with how they turned out.

Something about baby machete makes me cry really hard. he looks so nervous and little I just want to hug him and tell him it will all be okay

(Also I’m not 100% sure which one’s machete and which ones Vasco so incase I get the name wrong I’m talking about the martyr)

I had a dream with Vasco and Machete last night, I don't remember all details, but I do remember people talking about Machete being some sort of fallen angel or something. I even saw flashes of his angelic form in between, I'll have to draw those when I get back home. It was both scary and delightful.

#aaa that sounds so poetic #and epic #and cool #you're having way nicer dreams than I do #??? #answered #salem-lunaris #earlier this week I had an apocalyptic dream where earth was about to blow up and I thought “oh geez I have to warn The Dogs" #so I went to their house and this time their decor was oddly grandmacore sorta pastel and vintage and well worn #I can't recall what we talked about but Machete had just started some new meds or had some procedure done to him #he wasn't feeling himself his pupils were freakishly blown out and he couldn't walk or talk properly so they weren't planning to evacuate #Vasco dropped me off to the spaceship airport (his car was yellow) #but first we got some shady alien takeout that looked like red plastic straws and ping pong balls in a yellow toy bucket #we hugged and I boarded the dingy spaceship #and then the dream morphed into a vague retelling of that Raised by Wolves series #I felt bad about leaving them behind knowing they would get smashed to smithereens later that day

Chan going to visit Jess in Lunaris is going to unintentionally bring the attention of their parents back on Jess and Jess....doesn’t like that. Like yes, they miss their twin. They miss Chan deeply but on the other hand...THE FAMILY. Especially when their older siblings come snooping around to report back to their parents about Jess’s entire life and connections and just...everything. Because as much as Jess despises the majority of their family they have a soft spot for their siblings.

Which 😬😬😬😬😬😬 is gonna bite Jess in the ass when their mother writes all sweetly to invite them home after not speaking to them for uhh I dunno nearly 20 years. It’s a trap. A very big trap that Jess fully plans on ignoring and burning to the ground.
