I have never written something so personal for the site (and it's only 7500 words) - A long while ago something traumatic happened to me and my family, I've spent years trying to find the right way to write a story about it. Although the events of this story do not reflect what happened, the atmosphere and emotional resonance is meant to evoke what we went through.

How do you think "Eve" feels towards Cain? Especially after the murder? Also how do you think she feels towards him being contained and an SCP? And you know what how do you think she feels towards Abel too? I'm very curious now

Ok, preparing angst machine

After the murder:

Abel:

For the few days that Abel was dead, she could not stop crying. He may have been a grown man at the time but to her he was still her baby boy. When he was revived she couldn't believe her eyes, but the experience made him into an entirely different person, as if he was now just a shell of his former self. Hawwah basically watched her two sons die and be replaced by entirely different people and that deeply hurt her.

Cain:

She was absolutely distraught, she cared deeply about all of her sons and the fact that one of them did that to the other just completely killed her. She didn't hate Cain, but she didn't exactly love him anymore. After Abel was revived he refused to bring it up with anyone, even her. He became cold and distant to everyone,Cain was the person he trusted the most and his betrayal was the main reason Abel can simply just not trust people whatsoever.

After containment/foundation:

Abel:

Oh boy. Watching her son be brutalized like that every time he was revived, especially after all that he has already been through just killed her in a way that nothing else ever did. She didn't know the full extent of how he'd suffered after he left to fight the Daeva, but she knew that Cain's betrayal alone wouldn't have done this to him. She understands that it's for the better of humans that he stay contained, but she still can't help but feel for her son.

I personally follow the 'incident zero' canon, where Abel didn't cause the Omega-7 disaster, but he was blamed for it because the rest of the O5 didn't want to admit that their recklessness almost killed reality as a whole. Her knowing damn well that he wasn't responsible for that disaster but being blamed and punished for it anyway just hurt so, so damn bad. She was almost kicked out of the council for arguing that he shouldn't suffer for their mistake.

To Abel, having gone so far to save the foundation and his friends only for them to die anyway and for him to get blamed for it just screwed up his trust issues so much worse than Cain's betrayal ever could have

Cain:

She was somewhat happy to know that Cain had somewhat grown and recovered from his trauma, although she could tell what he did still hurt him even if it may not have been entirely his fault.

After the omega 7 incident, Cain was pretty much backed up into a corner and told that if he tried to tell anyone about Abel not actually being responsible for the Omega-7 thing he would get treated far worse than Abel is. He originally didn't listen and tried to discuss it with iris (who was amnestisized and had fake memories implanted after she saw the whole ordeal through a photograph and made to believe that Abel had in fact killed everyone and that she had seen all her friends get killed in real time) and was put in the highest risk class for months, he couldn't be harmed physically so the foundation fucked him up mentally so much that even after he was out he refused to talk to any foundation personel unless it was needed for several months. Hawwah wasn't told about this and the only reason he got released was because she found out.

Been reading the contenders to kill the time and I'm so mad that 6140 got eliminated in the first round because it's SO GOOD!!!!!!

It's a better take on the daevas and all the stuff around it that I've ever read on the website tbh? And it also calls into question a lot of stuff.

In general I wish more people wouldve voted for it instead of 999, the little blob is fine enough tho.

Anyway this tournament's going smoothly, there's some results that surprise me and other that don't, hyped to vote more!

(And like mod said absolutely do NOT hesitate to check out international SCPs, there are some that are translated in English and some diversity away from the Main Branch can't hurt!)

Yeah, 999's inherent popularity gave it a bit of a bias but someone had to go against it. There have been lots to surprise me as well! I think I know where this is going but since we still keep getting matches that win by one vote, who knows.

There are three SCP's in the 1st 200 written Special Containment Procedures on the SCP Foundation Wikidot which disprove each other & or the setting to the point just those ones kind of explain why anamalous & or parascientifical things in the SCP Universe exist, I think? Or at least show the deepest scars in the setting

SCP 033 - "The Missing Number" as in A Missing Integrer (Number) somewhere in between Negative Numbers, 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 & 20. Only expressible with higher concept math, maths & mathematics concepts, symbols & other impossible numbers

SCP 055 - [unknown], an Anti-Meme as in Anti-Memetic or Anti-Menophonic which has you forget what it or their qualities are upon observing it, which has it so it makes no sense that the SCP Foundation has it in storage & or containment or that anyone or anything ever did  

SCP 140 - An Incomplete Chronicle, a modern hardcopy book titled "A Chronicle of the Daevas," which describes the history of an ancient civilization in what is now south-central Siberia called "Daevites" who were an empire headed by a subspecies of Humanity. If this book comes into contact with any fluid suitable for writing including blood, the account of Daevite civilizations history expands, reaches closer to modern times & matching archaeological evidence as well as Human History & Herstory changes to match.

In other accounts by the SCP Foundation who has 140 contained as well as other Groups who deal with the Anamalous, The Daevites had a slave, Grand Karcist Ion who started the  Sarkite civilization that used bio-organic weapons & technology like SCP-610, "The Flesh That Hates." & worshipped "Yalbadaoth." The Sarkites were at war with the Mekhanites, who in a similar way worshipped technology & "Mekhane." The Mekhanites eventually became the modern day "Church of The Broken God" (or Unbroken God) & splinter sects, who the SCP Foundation & other Groups in the setting have encountered before & after finding SCP 140, which allegedly is why the Sarkites, Mekhanites & then Churches of the Broken God/s exist, up to more liberal Maxwelleniests or "Wan"ists, Wan sometimes being looked at as Mekhanite-Yalbadaoth, both Gods in 1.

The wiki also has Cain listed as SCP 073, Abel as SCP 076, Lilith as SCP 336, 343 as either God or a MacGuffin suggestion they're around? The Holy Spirit? SCP 4840-A as Seth, “Adam El Asem” mentioned in that article & SCP 2932.

 "The Gate Guardian" as in Guardian Angel to the Garden of Eden (Garden of Adonai?) is one of the Proposals for SCP-001. (2137, the Forensic Ghost of Tupac Shakur also seems very strongly Abrahami'Christia' Judai' religions themed)

Mm. I’m gonna dump some lore for my FF7 SCP au

- Cloud and Sephiroth are obviously, as the fic goes, anomalies into SCP containment. Other bad and naughty anomalies sitting in containment are Genesis (former SCP agent, gained some anomalous powers, immediately started making trouble for everyone) and Angeal (in the same team as Genesis, got the same powers, was actually well behaved but they didn’t want to risk it)

- Extra naughty anomalies who are in containment are Vincent (they had him but he breached containment), Nanaki (lives in a nexus), and Cait (what the fuck is that thing - SCP agents who just got owned by an animatronic cat)

- Zack and Tifa are both MTF agents and both have their issues with the Foundation but they also both don’t know if they could leave

- Aerith is a Serpent’s Hand member and possible anomaly herself. She also needs to stop playing with these random artifacts she finds lying around oh my god why does she have a Daeva weapon-

- Barret is also in the Serpent’s Hand but originally started out as a GOC member before deciding the GOC sucked. He tries very hard to make up for his past mistakes and as a result can be a bit of an extremist by Hand’s standards

- Reeve is officially in the Foundation’s Ethics Committee. He is also secretly a follower of the Church of the Broken God (Church of Maxwellism branch). No affiliation with mechanical cats on the loose, none at all

- Cid is also with the Church of the Broken God, but he’s one of the Broken Church

- Yuffie is with Gamers Against Weed because. She would. She would do that

Daevite

The Daevites, also known as the Daevas or the Daeva, are posthumous overarching antagonists in the SCP Foundation universe. They are an ancient evil civilization originating from SCP-140, a book that expands upon the history of the culture if blood or ink is in its presence.
