Classpect analysis notes under the cut!
Spent the last 2-3 weeks classpecting with the Book Club and here's what we largely came to agree on for MY classpects. I came to the discussion thinking "Thief of Doom" but I guess things just change! Most of us went into this with "which classpect would present the biggest challenge for me" so most of my notes take on... challenging qualities.
I'll try to post everyone else's final classpects + notes in this blog eventually (soon).
🩸 PRINCE OF BLOOD 👑
Princes are individuals who either lack their Aspect or outright reject their Aspect and are defined by their struggle to come to terms with it
The Prince of Blood may start out as an individual who struggles with relationships
They would have difficulties forging new friendships, maintaining bonds, and finding meaning within the company of others
They resent the ties that bind them to people, most likely due to their overwhelming need to honor obligations at any cost
Their highly competent nature is sought out by others but is rarely rewarded, putting this Prince at risk of being exploited if they are not discriminating in the company they keep (like Pages)
The Prince’s mean independence streak can border on the extreme if they don’t have social anchors to ground them
They have a fetishistic need to burn bridges at the slightest inconvenience, selfishly preferring to indulge in their maladapted coping instinct over rationally working things through with others
They are equally avoidant and combative, lacking the meekness of Rogues but also their knack for charm and levity
The Prince of Blood’s natural instinct is to avoid confrontation not out of fear of others but of themselves
“Nobody makes me bleed my own blood. Especially me!”
What little people they manage to keep around them are at risk of being put on a gilded pedestal
The Prince’s loyalty to those that they deem worthy is all-consuming and dangerous, to both themselves and others
To step outside The Prince’s idealized version of you would be to betray their trust and one-sided devotion, something they will never be able to forgive
Princes naturally gravitate towards embodying their opposite Aspect, at least outwardly
The Prince’s independence is sacred and is something they will never willingly compromise with, much to the chagrin of those around them
CAUTION: Do not tell this Prince what to do
They chafe against tradition and the status quo but lack the drive (and charisma) to rally others to their cause
They seek out novelty over the tried and true, often having difficulties completing long-term projects out of boredom or due to needing to experiment
The Prince wants nothing more than to escape the “heaviness” of Blood for the airy pursuits of Breath but will always be doomed to be tethered by their undeniable need to love and to be loved by others
Princes destroy Blood or destroys through Blood for themselves
Aside from being effective solo killers (blows up all your blood), the Prince would be able to utilize their bonds to destroy other bonds
They could form alliances or force others into contracts to help eliminate other inconvenient alliances
Obligations become weaponized as the Prince can call upon irrevocable (and inescapable) favors to their team’s benefit
The inverse classpect manifests when Players are at their worst or are emotionally compromised
The Prince of Blood’s inverse is the Sylph of Breath
At their worst, the Prince could take a dogmatic approach to prescribing their variety of independence as the one-and-only solution, forcing their brand of “living” as the panacea for all of life’s injustices
Their forced and misguided aid would make them appear to be tyrants to others despite the Prince’s initial good intentions
They could also become wholly irresponsible individuals, shirking the demands of Blood completely for a life of carefree self-destruction
🖕 SEER OF RAGE 🔮
Seers receive knowledge of their Aspects externally, not being innately versed in their Aspect early in their journey
The Seer of Rage could initially have trouble understanding anger and fear, both theirs and others, as they’re either suffering from chronic indifference or are in deep denial about their own inhibitions
They could appear to be carefree and upbeat individuals while being deeply conflicted and troubled on the inside, completely loath to let their struggles be perceived by others
The Seer will never admit to feeling powerless over their lack of agency over their base instincts, shamefully resorting to relying on the voice of more authoritative figures to guide them instead
They want others to see them as arbiters of self-control, infallible beings who keep a short leash on any unbecoming instinct that betrays their lack of mastery of the self
The Seer is oft indecisive, afflicted by the restrictions they place on themselves by being unable to look past their own fears and discomforts
The Seer comes into their own when they start allowing themselves to question their beliefs, confronting uncomfortable revelations, and allowing themselves to dabble in the mess that is “human emotion”
The catalyst needed to put the Seer on the right path in pursuing their own truths will usually be explosive, a sudden and dramatic event that would change their relationship with their Aspect forever
The Seer of Rage may be one of the more “introspective” Seers in that the prerequisite to being of any use to their team and session is to understand themselves first rather than blindly trusting external sources
They can also run the risk of becoming mouthpieces for misguided causes and manipulative forces
These Seers tend to be natural pacifists who rarely enjoy involving themselves directly in conflicts
This does not mean that they are shy about letting their own Rage loose on occasion
Seers examine (understand) their Aspect or examine (understand) through their Aspect for others
The Seer of Rage can literally see (smell?) fear
They know exactly what people are afraid of and what needs to be done to mitigate, avoid, or enhance it in others
They can be incredible strategists, capable of seeing through illusions and identifying enemies’ psychological weaknesses
The Seer is capable of identifying all the possible missteps stemming from the “human element” in plans and will work around them accordingly
The inverse classpect manifests when Players are at their worst or are emotionally compromised
The Seer of Rage’s inverse is the Witch Hope
At their worst, the Seer shirks their responsibility as the messenger of hard truths, using their extensive knowledge of fear and anger to transform “unpalatable” emotions into more pleasant experiences for others
Allows unhealthy delusions to cloud their ability to discern the truth from fantasy
Focuses too much on helping others avoid reality than on confronting it

I feel like I don’t see a lot of people bring up Thaumatrope in reference to Vast Error or Snowbound Blood I can understand why cause it isn’t really plot relevant (Thaumatrope is the story of how Rypite and Sirage became Matesprites) it’s such a good read and I liked it a lot but then again I’m a complete sucker for romance in media especially opposites attract because it was done well in this with Rypite helping Sirage come to terms with herself however as much as I liked this comic I’d rate it maybe a 7/10 (or 9/12 for all you twelve star’s out there)
If you wanna read it here’s a link to Thaumatrope itself ^^^

Seer of Rage, Rogue of Doom, Bard of Void VS Muse of Rage (corrupted)
Team #1
Look, fighting a masterclass is never fun. They are anomalies that distort the very nature of the game, warping Sburb, reality, and even the Fiction Itself around them. It's a stacked deck.
However…
That doesn't mean the Seer, Rogue, and Bard should simply give up. Any group going against a masterclass lacks the fundamental destructive power to truly come to blows with them in earnest. Thankfully, the team is uniquely situated for the amounts of tricky bullshit to drive the Muse of Rage crazy.
The Bard of Void stresses the Blind Rage aspect of the corrupted Muse of Rage. Clarity of purpose and intent is muddles, based on their condition, and the unique abilities of the Bard. What the Muse doesn't know can certainly hurt. By destroying their blindspots, the Bard can help direct that anger somewhere in a rather dangerous gambit, like sending a runaway train down the track, they can only guide and lead, not control the overwhelming force or who might be on that track. Additionally, when the Muse is distracted by another party member, the Bard could erupt with devastating sneak attacks.
This is magnified greatly by the Seer of Rage. The Seer is a necessary radar for finding where and when the Muse will strike, a warning that turns the lightning-speed rampage of the Muse into a predictable weather report. Though the Seer of Rage would certainly be overwhelmed by themselves compared to the Muse, they are uniquely equipped for the necessary mental battle. With the Bard of Void, the Seer has the necessary edge required to manipulate the Muse, allowing them to keep them distracted, find their physical, mental, and spiritual weaknesses, and then target them with precision.
While these two can work with great synergy, they still are desperately fragile in the face of overwhelming odds, even if they can distract the Muse and target their weaknesses when they aren’t looking. Enter the Rogue of Doom, the safety net.
Anytime the Muse makes a decisive strike, the Rogue is able to maneuver allies out of the way and even redirect it back to the Muse, creating a dangerous feedback loop. As the Rogue throws their own destruction back to them, the damage would only strengthen the Muse and, simultaneously, make them increasingly erratic. Deliberately angering the Hulk is a very dangerous plan, but not one without merit when you and your allies can skirt around their blindspots and target their weaknesses with laser precision. The Rogue is ultimately playing keepaway, staving off debilitating debuffs and curses, deflecting whatever attack they can bear (but never fully stopping) and empowering their team by exchanging their stress, harm, fate, and even death itself to another. A lot of sacrifices have to be made for this fight and the Rogue is equipped to make those tough decisions.
Team #2  - Muse of Rage
Assuming there are no minions to do their bidding, the Muse of Rage is still a powerhouse in their own right. And even while corrupted and not of sound mind, body, and soul, they still have more than enough power to overwhelm a party of 3.
The Muse's best path is to fully and completely overwhelm their enemies. Arcs of rampant lightning, massive explosions, curses spewing across the battlefield. While their precision is lacking due to the nature of their enemies, the Muse can still unleash all manner of hell to Everything around them. No amount of tricky maneuvering is going to stop the total annihilation of Everything after a long enough time.
The Muse wants to play the long game, using their endless stamina and wildly destructive powers to chip away at the energy of their enemies. While they may lack sound judgement due to their corruption, there is only so long until the Muse as turned the battlefield into a crater, devoid of hiding places, devoid of any targets to transfer ruin to, until it is truly just 1 on 3 as the Muse unleashes pure, indiscriminate, random bursts of energy
That being said, it is still uniquely challenging as they contend with such a deeply frustrating enemy. Being held up on what they can not do (accurately aim and lock down) does stand the risk of overwhelming them into overclocking themselves, making them only more sloppy, continuing the vicious cycle.
Conclusion
Team #1, the Bard/Seer/Rogue want to play keepaway, never allowing themselves to be hit, and giving them time to redirect/steer/distract the Muse for powerful precise strikes to either their body or mind/soul to snap them out of their corruption. Doing so is dangerous, causing a negative feedback loop for the Muse until they eventually destroy everything around them, removing Team #1's advantages.
Essentially a very high stakes bomb defusal and should Team #1 not find a solution quickly, that bomb will explode in their face
Good luck~!

(If I'm understanding your requests properly), could I get something for a Seer of Light/Witch of Rage clash?
THE SEER-WITCH OF LIGHT-RAGE
Tumblr media
The Seer-Witch of Light-Rage is someone who is distrusting of everyone they meet because of their past experiences, and they know that people are cheap and will lie and cheat their way through anything and everything if it means that they can get what they want. The Seer-Witch of Light-Rage understands what it means to control the Light and the Rage of the universe, understanding and learning everything there is to know about their aspects so that they can fully utilize it in all of it’s power.
The Seer-Witch of Light-Rage knows better than to trust others, so they mostly stick to themselves, which is helpful because their powers are better suited to benefitting themself rather than others, so as they learn and power up, they can slowly change all the parts of their life that they are unhappy with and they can make the most out of their situation. The Seer-Witch of Light-Rage can give you their aspects, giving you control of your knowledge and your emotions, letting you experience what it’s like to be them, and what a taste of their own power is like.
The Seer-Witch of Light-Rage is part Seer of Light, which means that they are witty and intelligent, they have a knack for knowing the right information at the right time, and they’re constantly pursuing more knowledge and information that can help them build their power and understanding of their aspects. They might struggle when it comes to accepting that sometimes the choices you have to make aren’t fully good or aren’t fully bad, sometimes things are shades of gray, but they know that whatever their decision, it’s probably the correct one.
The Seer-Witch of Light-Rage is part Seer of Rage, which means that they don’t have a complete understanding of what it means to feel Rage, to feel sadness, to feel strong emotions and be compelled by your feelings to do something, but nonetheless they seek out these feelings and strive to understand them better no matter what. They feel these feelings too, maybe to a lesser extent than their friends and family, but they cannot understand what it’s like to truly be burdened by your emotions and thus, they will endlessly seek out people who are stricken by rage or sadness or any other strong emotions to study it and learn.
The Seer-Witch of Light-Rage is part Witch of Light, which means that they are ambitious and driven by their need for prosperity and luck and fortune, a chaotic individual who is probably only out for themself, but they can turn your life into a chaotic whirlwind in an instant. They do what they want with no care for the rules or the laws, they like to push their luck, and they’re masters at deception and changing your perspective right before your very eyes, but they can be very difficult to stop.
The Seer-Witch of Light-Rage is part Witch of Rage, which means that they are wonderful at manipulating the Rage within people, puppeting them by their emotions, and if you happen to be the unlucky subject of their whims, then you will struggle to break out of their grasp. They are chaotic and devious, they can and probably will play with people’s emotions like a child with their toys, and it’s really no help to try and lecture them about what they’re doing because they’re set in their ways and likely will not listen to you, no matter what you say.

"Rage", a poem I wrote based on the Emily Dickinson poem "Hope" and some of my positive interpretations of the Rage aspect
(and also kind of emotionally motivated by my struggles to try and get So Help Me Todd saved #savesohelpmetodd #renewsohelpmetodd)
"Rage" is the thing with fire
That's burning deep inside
When justice needs a little push
Or rules need be defied
And though it may not seem like much
When only from one voice
The rage of many joined as one
Can shout above the noise
The fire must be kept alight
And do not stop the song
For it's a call to set things right
Together we are strong

Powerset for a Seer of Rage
one who shares knowledge of ferocity, madness, and spite
.
Basic Rage powers: High resistance to Grimdarkness, mind control, and direct corrupting influences. They have a power multiplier that scales with their fury - their class powers, weapon durability, and all forms of attack damage grow stronger with their anger and ferocious determination.
Seer special: You can remember moments of calamity, terror, and bloodlust from alternate timelines, even though a different "you" experienced these memories. Context is up to you to interpret; there's very little you can remember beyond these scenes.
.
List of Spells
Pick 3 spells. In addition to your Rage power multiplier, their duration and potency scale with your practice, experience, and personal development.
Dread Archives: Conjure an illusory scroll with obsidian-black paper and glowing violet ink that appears as if written by an invisible pen. The scroll's writing always describes the nature of anger, fear, passion, pain, trauma, and their effects on the body and thought process. If you ask it verbal questions, or write prompts on it like an unfinished sentence, it will write in an answer in your desired detail level.
Horrific Transfiguration: Enchant an everyday object or accessory to a devilish transformation. It grows to a menacing size; levitates while chained to your hands or wrists; and grows sharp edges, jagged spikes, gnarled thorns, or another feature appropriate to your image of Rage. Your new weapon flies around as you direct it with your hands. It stays transformed for 1 minute before it reverts, harmless and brittle. As you grow, you can increase the spell's duration, lengthen the chains, and enhance the weapon's specs.
Malefic Reflexes: Draw a simple majyyk circle beneath you, speak a wicked incantation, and enter a tempered state of focus. For 6 seconds, you get highly accelerated reflexes, resistance to pain and fear, and any amount of epiphanies about how to survive this situation or fell a hated enemy. This spell has the hardest duration to extend, but a fully realized Seer of Rage could use it past the 1-minute mark.
Molten Mortar: Draw an intricate majyyk circle beneath you, and conjure six javelins dripping molten lava, each as tall as you. Each javelin flies after and homes in on a target you're angry at. They fly in a tangled yet determined path, whipping and weaving around other targets as you concentrate. The greater your battle-fervor, the faster they fly. They explode on contact.
Premonition Pyre: Set something on fire, concentrate on two people (players, Carapacians, quest monsters, etc), and gaze into the flames. Within the flickering, you can see how a fight between them is most likely to play out. You can see their relative levels of strength, how they would fight based on their usual tactics, and any abilities they normally use. The result of the fight is not absolute truth- it may change based on either person's preparations and improvement, or the circumstances of the battle.
Nightmare Walking: Sprinkle some petals or root powder - perhaps passionflower or devil's claw - around someone's shoulders, to enter their dreams. If you enter their dreams, you can create terrifying illusions and phantasms to cause a nightmare, or simply observe their dream and interpret any signs of hidden pains or fears.
Sigil of Horror: Draw a sigil on an object (like a door or a crown), smoldering black and smelling of ash. Anyone who sees this object will feel an overwhelming sense of dread, and an urgent pull towards their stress response (fight/flight/freeze/fawn). People especially susceptible to fear may see something they're afraid of instead of the object. Courageous people may resist the stress response. The effect lasts until the sigil rubs off, the object is destroyed, or 1 hour passes.
Sigil of Vehemence: Draw a sigil on your skin or an ally's skin, smoldering purple and giving off heat. The recipient will be able to think clearly in times of terror or extreme stress; get 50% resistance to heat and pressure damage; and be protected from (and aware of) intimidation magic and other powers that hijack their stress response. It lasts for 1 hour, or until the sigil rubs off.
.
Intrigue Skills
In addition to your spells, pick 1 intrigue skill.
Baleful Sixth Sense: You have a natural insight into what makes people tick, as in ticking time bomb. By observing a person, you can sense what makes them lash out, what motivates them, their hidden doubts and fears, and how they normally handle their anger. You can also tap into your power to ask more specific questions about the nature of their Rage. When you do, violet sparks trickle over the skin near your eyes and ears, and you can hear the answers in your head or see them as private visions.
Seismograph Clairvoyancy: You can sense where Rage is brewing - when people fight, hate, hold a grudge, or let their temper explode - and observe wherever it erupts via clairvoyance. When you use your clairvoyance, your five senses work as if you were there, and you quickly get insight into who's really in control, who the most dangerous threats are, and what people are truly fighting about. You can also quickly intuit the combat abilities and weapons of people you observe, even the things they don't normally use (trump cards deliberately kept hidden, taboo/kamikaze attacks, and similar).
.
"They love the mayhem more than the love."
