sorry this is so specific and self-indulgent and came out of nowhere but i blame @smr7k4 for this anyway supernatural au where scorpius is a washed up curse researcher/scientist who used to be trying to fine-tune or alter curses that are already incurable to work in favour of wizardkind which was a motivated passion after his mum died from one. he was recording how this one ritual could bring back people from death permanently outside of the resurrection stone but something went horribly wrong in his experiment. so scorpius let his research and projects get disbanded bcuz it crossed the border between normal magic and dark magic.

fast forward and scorpius dies somehow. his husband doesnt share nearly the same amount of moral limitation that scorpius subjected himself to, and would do just about anything to get him back. albus goes fishing around for all of scorpius’ old notebooks until he finds that ritual with the specific curse. he performs it and boom he got a little cannibal zombie hubby now. but zombo!scorp also needs to live on human meat so albus becomes a serial killer so he can sustain scorpius (who also isn’t very conscious of his actions and is in a state of animalistic bloodlust, but for some reason still holds a soft spot for albus). meanwhile ​rose would be the detective auror thats hot on albus’ trail trying to figure out who is responsible for the random killings.

essentially the au is albus finishing scorpius’ research by trying to figure out how to make him more human. he’s documenting what kind of foods zombo!scorp can and cant eat, how to restart all parts of his body to get it functioning again, how to help him access memories to his life and vice versa.

“oh blood type A- gives scorpius tummy aches so i won’t feed him people with that type” then jots down scorp’s lactose intolerant like symptoms. “oh scorpius doesnt like eating hair he always just eats around it. it would be easier if i just remove that part of the head” then takes note of scorpius’ preferences like its cutting crust of bread. “ugh rose is being annoyingly smart again looks like i gotta frame someone to buy me some time before she finds me out sighhh” or “scorpius was always such a sweet tooth so maybe i need to find people with high glucose levels” or “maybe if he eats someone familiar like karl jenkins or something that could trigger a memory for him and reverse some of these effects” (albus just wants an excuse to murk karl).

What is it with so many zombie movies and not having armor like. Wear a leather or denim jacket at the least. Not even a zombies sinking its teeth into your flesh through that. I mean have armor anyway just to be safe especially something on your forearms like. So many people in movies go out because they raise their arm to block the thing from going for heir face and surprise. You got bit because you blocked like a smart person but weren't wearing armor like one. It would literally have taken ten minutes to change your fate. You dont need like a suit of armor its an apocalypse you need to be able to move armor would weigh you down bla bla bla. No! First of all you're probably carrying around a bigass pack of supplies, armor isnt going to weigh you down any more than that. Also the armor is like. Wouldnt be a heavy suit of armor like i said. Literally just pad yourself with extra fabric ducttape shit to yourself. Or be cool and collect like aluminum cans and license plates, thin, light metal that you can bend around your arms so next time you block with your arm you'll actually be protected. Thin, light, strong metal that you can tape and wrap all over yourself and it won't weigh you down. Might not withstand bullets but you won't get bit

likely a few more days without art or much activity coming bc while i got used to juggling uni+job+job, i now have shit ton of documentation to do after unis teachinf practise shit fuck fuck penis fuck period and boy is it not fun.

#I just took a nap and had the most depressing dream I've had in ages #the first half was like #There was this apocalypse where if you got contaminated by this thing that was like everywhere you would get chased by #These zombies until they caught you and made you one of them #I was trying to keep my mom safe #eventually we ended up in space on a space station with like 10 other people cause that was the only way to escape #so we were stuck watching earth die from the cold isolated void #AND THEN something happened where something was contaminated and that sent a signal to the zombies on earth #And they were smart enough to like try and come after us #but then that was like the “bad ending” and it rewound #but no matter how hard I tried to get a “good ending” something always would go wrong #Like half the group would break off and leave in a little shuttle and vanish #we landed on another planet and wandered around there trying to figure food at one point #It was all just hopeless and terrifying #And I'm drawing parallels to my real life as to why I had this dream in the first place
