I would like to run off into the wilderness, never to be seen again.
Except maybe by my boyfriend. They can lure me inside with a pspspss and a handful of grapes.

I wish I was small enough to live in a little hole in a tree trunk.

people who forage:
I really want to get into foraging. I live just down the road from a tiny wooded area and I feel like I can be pretty confident that it’s pesticide free. There was a house there at one point though (there are stairs left over that look like possibly from the early 1900s). And then directly next to my apartment there is a little nature walkway.
What I’m asking is, is there a way to tell if something I forage is full of poison? Or maybe if the soil is?
These are my only easy access possible foraging grounds since I know that unfortunately even the overgrown areas on campus are not going to be dangerous chemical free (they should be though, with the river being RIGHT THERE but I don’t trust them)
Any help or advice would be really appreciated I want to eat dandelions and sticky weed! D:
