Warnings: Miles being a nonchalant ngga, fluff, angst, possessiveness

You lived a pretty good life. Your parent(s) were active in your life, you had a wonderful boyfriend that would burn the universe to the ground for you, and you got whatever you wanted. Miles kept his job pretty under wraps so you didn’t know what he did, all you knew was that he was buying the newest miu miu jacket and he funded your bath and body works addiction. Everyone knew you loved Miles but they questioned whether or not he actually loved you.

It was no secret that Miles wasn’t as affectionate as you; everyone around you noticed it, your parent(s), your friends and even other family members mentioned it to you:

“You could do so much better, y/n"

“I mean, it seems like he doesn’t even want to date you fr” your cousin remarked

“Yeah are you holding him against his will?” Your aunt chimed in

“I am not!!! He’s just like that” you defended

You were very open with your affection; kissing, hugging and cuddling him a lot. Miles on the other hand, showed his love differently by buying you stuff and spending time with you. He was often very cold and closed off towards other people and they assumed it was that way for you but it wasn’t. Miles was affectionate but he didn’t show it at all for fear of people using you as a weapon against him.

When you got to your room, you felt yourself tear up. I mean sure, miles was nonchalant but that didn’t mean he didn’t love you. Plus Miles would tell you if he didn’t want you, right?

You couldn’t stand with the idea that Miles was doing this out of pity and not out genuine love for you so you texted Miles:

You: Hey can we talk?

this didn’t help the aching in your chest so you tried to fall asleep and forget about it but it haunted your dreams that night. Usually, your dreams are pretty calm but in this one, you were running from Miles and when he caught up to you, he said:

“I DON'T LOVE YOU, Y/N. WHY CAN’T YOU UNDERSTAND THAT??? I wish it could’ve been different” Miles pulled out what looked like a claw but before anything could happen, you woke yourself up.

You woke up in a cold sweat and saw a message from Miles:

3:02 AM

Miles: what’s up, Mami?

4:45 AM

You: Do you love me?

Miles: What?

Miles: What happened?

You: You didn’t answer my question

Miles: yeah, why?

You: You don’t have to lie to me, yk?

Miles: Let’s talk about this tomorrow.

The next day came and you met Miles after school:

“So what’d they say?” Miles questioned

“They said I’m forcing you into a relationship” you admitted, feeling defeated

“Oh give me a break, y/n. Fuck them and their opinions, they don’t know us” Miles said, rolling his eyes

“Miles, they’re my family. And honestly I can see why they believe that” you spoke up

Miles took a deep breath:

“Why? Because I’m not jumping you 24/7? That’s not who I am and you knew that when you decided to date me. As for the family thing, they just jealous of what we have.” Miles said, stoically

“It wouldn’t kill you to show me a bit of affection, Miles” you replied quickly

“no. But it could kill you” he muttered

“excuse me???” you said

“Just know that I do love you, Y/n. I’m sorry that you don’t feel the same” Miles said

“And why are you speaking so cryptically lately?? If you got something to say, speak.” You argued, a sudden burst of masculine energy and ferocity flowing through your veins

“Watch it, y/n. Stay in your place, it’s easier.” Miles said dangerously, he spoke a warning to you

You ran away and went to your room, rushing past your concerned parent as you heard them talk on the phone:

“Yeah, she’s still mad about Sunday hahaha” your parent laughed

“Yeah well we were just joking, you know how we do” The person on the other end spoke, you assumed it was your aunt.

“You know kids y/a/n(your aunts name), especially Y/n. She’s so soft and I don’t want her to get hurt.” Your parent said

“Well at the end of the day, she’ll be okay. And it will be a lesson to her, everyones first love is heartbreaking” your aunt said

“yeah, I guess. Well I gotta go. Love you” your parent departed

“Love you too” Your aunt said

You played crying in your pillow because of what they said and because of your argument. Soon, you heard a knock on the door:

“Oh Heyyyy Miles” your parent greeted

“Hi. Is Y/n here?” Miles asked

“Yeah she’s in her room” Your parent said, opening the door for him

“okay” Miles said, walking in and knocking on your door

“a thank you would’ve been nice’ your parent muttered under their breath. Miles full well heard this but he chose to ignore it because he would have a few choice words with your parent and none of them would be nice

You heard three knocks on your door.

“Y/n? Baby, let me in” he said

“Go away, Miles” you sniffled

“Mami, imma get in one way or another so you may as well just open the door.” Miles threatened

You opened the door with watery eyes and tear stained cheeks. Miles’ heart broke immediately.

“I’m sorry for not giving you the love you deserve. I know I’ll never be good enough for you and you deserve better than me. Your family is right but I need you to know that I am so in love with you, it scares me. When we aren’t together, my chest hurts; I can’t be without you, y/n. I love you so much and I’m sorry I treat you like shit. I can change, mi amor."

Can I just speak for a moment about how much I love my own future au for miraculous like guys its what I fall back on when all else is tired. I need to talk about it! Just the idea in general of the future lovesquare children — all the possibilities

Like look how sneaky she is - so cringe fail at all times

The au is primarily focused around the Emma - Adrien relationship. Adrien’s complicated feelings around his lineage and his renouncing of the cat miraculous while his daughter worships the old heroes -especially Chat Noir (and then becomes one herself). That as Kitty Bell, she tries and tries and tries and fails to be a hero like Chat Noir but she’s not like Chat Noir. She isn’t good at being Chat Noir and it’s so obvious to her that Plagg is disappointed. But she doesn’t fully understand that her desire to be like the old heroes is holding her back, she needs to be herself. When Plagg says she’s not like Chat Noir it isn’t him asking her to be more like him, it’s asking her to stop trying to be him.

And Adrien, oh Adrien, who just wanted to keep his family safe. Never thought any of this could return. Thinks at least his daughter is safe, at least there are new different heroes protecting them and they can’t be his daughter because he’s a better father than Gabriel so he’d notice. He should notice but he doesn’t until it’s too late and he has to find out her identity in the worst of ways.

And I need to write a fic on it so I can just finally feel it.

I doodle and draw them all the time and I’m redesigning everything as we speak. Literally drawing Ladybird and I can’t wait to talk about her too. The love square is so so gay in this I need you to understand. Kitty calls her Birdie (and my lady of course) and Birdie says ‘ma belle’ and so many more. And and I wrote them to do this I can’t be this obsessed

I want this to be a Paris haunted by the past. So fucking scared that it’s coming back. They saved the day 20 years ago but that doesn’t mean things were happily ever after and ooooooo things are just so fucking sweet and fucked up. And the young people just don’t get why people are so afraid. It’s all lalalala until the first big battles hit.

Riddle Rosehearts

He has been getting concerned about why you’ve been so secretive as of late. He sees how you’re always giggling with Trey and Cater and he can’t help but feel jealous or suspicious. How can he not??

Was it because he wasn’t spending enough time with you? Were you upset that he collared Ace and Deuce for the nth time that week? Maybe it was because he went on another tyrannical rampage? PLEASE GIVE HIM AN ANSWER INSTEAD OF IGNORING HIM!!!

When you received the invitation to the Heartslabyul Christmas Celebration from him personally, he pulled you aside and asked what was going on. You told him that it was a surprise for him and to not worry about it.

On the day of the party, he was nervous about what you had to show him. You had a shit-eating grin on your face as you waited around for the time to give presents. When it was, you plopped yourself on the arm of Riddle’s chair and handed him a box wrapped in red wrapping paper.

He opened it and it was a crocheted plush version of the crown he always wears with his dorm uniform. Riddle had a very apparent blush on his face, and you decided to conclude this victory by giving him a peck on the cheek. He had a very dopey grin after that.

Leona Kingscholar

He’s annoyed that you’ve been sneaking around, but he has no reason to conclude that you were doing anything horrible like cheating on him. But he can’t help but feel angry because whatever you’re doing is preventing him from cuddling with you while he’s napping.

His dreams are filled with the worst-case scenarios that he can’t help but conjure up in his tired mind. It eats away at him more and more and it’s driving him to the brink of insanity. He can’t get a peaceful night’s rest with all the crap that he’s thinking about.

When you received the invitation to the Savanaclaw Christmas Celebration, he had Ruggie deliver it for him. There, the hyena told you about the way Leona has been acting. You felt a tiny twinge of guilt.

On the day of the celebration, he was low-key grateful to see you enjoying the party but high-key annoyed because he’s forced to attend. When it was time for the gift exchange, you sat yourself down next to him and placed a small box in his lap.

He pulled the ribbon and took off the lid when he saw a bracelet. It was a lot like the ones he would see in the markets of the Sunset Savanna. As much as he hated his family, he did appreciate the people and the culture. He was happy to have this little taste of home to carry with him wherever he goes.

Azul Ashengrotto

He’s paranoid about why you’re constantly avoiding him and rather going straight to Jade and Floyd. He’s already insecure, Y/N. Please don’t do this. Like Riddle, he gets insanely jealous because those twins are stealing you from him.

If he’s not dealing with a client then he’s pacing back and forth around his office, trying to come up with any reason why you might be avoiding him. If he is dealing with a client, then he most definitely won’t be paying attention to any part of the conversation.

When you receive an exclusive invitation to the Christmas Celebration occurring in the Mostro Lounge for Vice/Housewardens, he was the one to give it to you. You noticed that he seemed a bit more agitated than normal.

On the day of the party, Azul decided to have you near him at all times in case Grim starts something. That way, he would be able to vouch for you and say that you had nothing to do with the cat’s actions. When it was time to hand out presents, you sat yourself on the arm of the armchair he was sitting at. You plopped a neatly wrapped box in his lap.

When he opened it, it was a coin album. He’s only ever mentioned his little hobby in passing, so he was very flattered that you remembered. It had a blue cover with golden accents, reminding him of the sea and its treasures. As a quiet thank you, he wrapped his arm around your waist and squeezed a little bit.

Kalim Al-Asim

Mans probably was doing the same thing. He’s not the best at keeping secrets, so it takes his entire willpower to not spoil his secret gift for you. Jamil often has to drag him away by the arm before he lets his mouth run.

He spends hours ranting to his Vice Housewarden about how great you are and all the great qualities you have. However, he doesn’t know what to get you. Eventually he settles on one of his most prized possessions. He loves you that much, but I won’t tell you what he chose yet.

He hosts a Christmas Party at Scarabia and makes sure that he invites everyone, including the Diasomnia Dorm because they deserve to celebrate as well. He personally went to Ramshackle and delivered the invite to you. He acted exactly like a golden retriever puppy who was excited to see their person.

On the day of the party, Kalim was greeting everyone who walked in. However, once you entered, he stuck by your side like glue. When it was time to give everyone their presents, you and Kalim swapped gifts.

He opened his and he saw some pop music records. Sure, he could listen to it on his phone, but there was something about having the records that just made it more special. You opened yours and saw that it was one of his rings. You blushed before he explained that it was his favorite one and he wanted you to have it. His prized possession with his prized person.

Vil Schoenheit

He most definitely was jealous when he noticed that you were spending more time with Rook and Epel rather than him. He wasn’t paranoid, but he was much more irritable. Every time he made contact with either of the two, he scoffed and walked away.

He knows that all this anger and stress are bad for his health, but he just can’t help it. Those two are stealing away the person who loves him for him rather than his stage presence and beauty. It isn’t fair to him at all.

When he invites you to the party that Pomefiore is hosting, he does it reluctantly. He’s still very angry at this point, but that’s not a valid reason to exclude you from the holiday festivities that his dorm partakes in.

On the day of the celebration, he will act as though nothing was wrong in the first place. He will offer you his arm as he brings you around the room to participate in a few of the games they have. When it’s time to open gifts, you hand him a box. You explain that this is why you were talking to the others so much in secret.

He opens it and sees that it’s a few different pin cushions. A few of them are apple-shaped, which was fitting for his dorm. He then noticed that your fingers had bandages on them and he took them in his own hands to examine them. He was both shocked and flattered.

Idia Shroud

He may be one shy otaku boy, but if the love between you is mutual then he gets a tad bit possessive. And by a tad bit, I mean he’s foaming at the mouth while he sees you on the school cameras talking to someone while giggling a bit. The worst part is that the other person is from his own dorm.

He’s also pacing around his room, wondering what he did wrong to deserve this treatment from you, the love of his life. Maybe it was that time where he accidentally forgot about your date? Or maybe he hasn’t been giving you the attention you would’ve liked?

Eventually, Ortho grows concerned and goes to find you. You were in Ramshackle and you heard a knock on the door. Grim answered the door and you heard the younger brother of your boyfriend. You met him downstairs and he told you what has been going on with Idia.

You headed straight to Ignihyde to hopefully get some answers. You looked so serious that when Idia saw you through the doorbell camera he was scared to let you in. Through the bell, you told him that the reason you had been acting a bit more distant is because you were making a gift for him.

When he lets you inside, you pull him into a hug. You apologize for your actions,, but then you pull away and hand him the gift. He opened it and saw that it was a plush version of his favorite anime character. He started tearing up and apologizing for how ridiculous he was acting. You’re gonna have one heck of a time trying to reassure him that everything is okay and you don’t hate him.

Malleus Draconia

Surprisingly, he isn’t jealous. He is actually amused. You’re trying your best to keep it secret and you are going around and asking Lilia, Sebek, and Silver all about him. Unfortunately, Sebek can’t close his mouth for 5 seconds, so Malleus already knows.

He’s flattered that his significant other is planning to surprise him for Christmas. That gets him thinking: what should he present you with in return? He realizes that even though you are his lover, he hasn’t given you the heart to his hoard yet. He reasons that dragons mate for life, so it should be alright to give you the tsavorite.

He decides to host a small celebration for the holidays in your honor. You, being the Guest of Honor, obviously showed up. He thought you looked absolutely wonderful. It was a more formal event, so you were wearing some nicer clothes and you had your hair styled.

He had your arm in his since it was tradition in the Briar Valley for the royal couple to appear together, even if it was just a casual celebration such as this. Sebek was totally not angry. But anyways, Malleus noticed that you seemed super excited when Lilia announced it was time to open presents.

You handed the Prince a gift. It was a large rectangular one. He carefully unwrapped it and saw that it was a painting. In the corner, your signature was on it. The painting was of you and him, but he was in his dragon form and you were kneeling in front of him. He thanked you by pulling you into a short kiss, but pulled away to give you your gift. You opened the box and it was a necklace with the tsavorite gem. He explained that it was the heart of his hoard. He told you it was the equivalent of putting his heart in your hands.

S (dating stage): They smile, confident in knowing that they are the one to share MC's bed now. Yet, they can't stop themselves from getting in a quick potshot. "Well, I'm grateful that MC's tastes have matured since you."

Rain (crushing stage): Rain would desperately try to ignore the individual. They're not going to listen to someone speak so crassly about someone they care about. It isn't worth getting angry about. They're not listening. They're NOT. NOT LISTENING. LALALALA.

Eventually, they would snap. "Hey! You shouldn't talk about someone like that when they aren't around to defend themselves!"

Rain (dating stage): At this stage, Rain isn't going to wait around to knock that kind of behaviour on the head. "Hey, dumbass!" Everyone turns in shock, including Taj and S. "All you're achieving here is everyone knowing that you didn't do enough to satisfy MC. Be quiet"

Taj (crushing stage): Seething in their chair, tapping their foot on the spot as they glare across the room at the individual. They don't even really understand why they're so mad. So what if MC had a past lover? Everyone has a past? Why should that bother them? ...It's probably because the person is a complete trash pile of a human. Most are. They just wish they would shut up.

Taj (dating stage): Expect World War 3. As soon as their mouth opens and MC's name slips from their tongue, Taj is plotting. S can see on their face Taj is about to do something drastic.

"Don't, Taj..."

Too late. Taj approaches the individual with their hood pulled tightly over their hood, looking every bit the thug they will pretend to be. Then, when they get close, they snake their hand against the back of their neck threateningly. "I suggest you stop talk talking. In fact, it's in your best interest to never mention MC's name again."

N (crushing stage): N clicks their tongue, watching the idiot go on and on about MC, and they find the display distasteful. How pathetic. They can only imagine what MC ever saw in this person. That's assuming the cretin is even telling the truth. Not that it's any of their business. MC can do whomever they please.

They will need to shut this human up, however. They are much too loud. "As riveting as this tall tale is, feel free to keep it in your fantasies. I have a headache."

N (dating stage): N will just listen, their smile slowly growing and growing as they tap their fingers against the surface they are leaning on. The more graphic the conversation gets, the wider N's smile gets. As soon as some of the details begin to line up with their own experience with MC, N's mind is made up. The human will be lucky to ever talk again.

Umbra (crushing stage): Umbra watches the individual like a quiet shadow, their face neutral, but to anyone who knows them, that's when they are at their most dangerous. Unless you were watching them carefully, you wouldn't have seen them leave. They lie in wait. As soon as the disgusting individual is alone, Umbra has them isolated and pressed against the wall, a knife to their throat. "Mention MC again, and it will be the last thing you do. I don't do second chances."

Umbra (dating stage): They're in agony. They're trying to do better for MC; be better for them. They've been meditating more, exploring breathing exercises... They can't let worthless lumps of meat like that human bring out that side of them anymore. The anger is there, though. It's bubbling with every word they speak.

It's just words. They mean nothing. MC can handle things like this. They said they could. Still... what remains in their imaginations can't hurt anybody.

I am imagining all the “I was there Gandalf” moments that the Tudors fandom can look back on, including the Triad reveal and the Norwich discovery. A third one that’s smaller but still significant is when DNA testing backs up the Triad reveal. Either they do a paternity test with the royal remains, or they find that the known descendants of Gregory Cromwell and the descendants of George/Owen/Pippa have a distant connection or common ancestor.

I think DNA was still relatively new in the 90s, so maybe it’s several years before they can DNA test 400-year-old skeletal remains or find common ancestors going back sixteen generations. Either way it causes another upheaval and it’s also a nice rebuttal to Restorationists and other doubters.

The Norwich discovery is pretty recent so that’s definitely a Fandom Event (of OW OW FUCK THAT GUY) - I wonder if there’s a ‘fuck that guy (derogatory)’ day on in universe tumblr. And oh gosh, The Triad Discovery. So I’ve been kind of loose on when this happens (The Tudors show in universe happens around like, right now - all the actors are in universe younger) but it’s late nineties/early 2000s plus different tech advancements. So it is by this point extremely well known and taught and also a ‘Listen I Was There When The News Broke’

(With the Triad it is like in retrospect so much makes sense - with the show people are going in knowing about it by this point but oh there’s so much I Was There about the discovery. SO MUCH)

The contents of the chest make it pretty damn clear (spoilers go here about that somewhat) but yep, the current Duchess of Essex + I think one of Owen’s descendants off the top of my head take a DNA test and yep, Related.

(Oh the trainwreck there - they basically stick their fingers in their ears and sing LALALALA CANNOT HEAR YOU - because while don’t get me wrong, they LOATHE Thomas Cromwell and will admit he was uh ‘favoured’ by Henry and have Opinions about the sullied royal bloodlines they are also deeply invested in the two current royal princes being Secretly Of The True Royal Line (and a whole other thing) and so they also refuse to believe that any King would ever be bisexual or love a commoner that much so they mostly just ignore it and huff about how corrupted by the Coarse Commoner Henry Was (in his policies! they were bros! Because Cromwell was a weasel! No homo!)

Hihihi!!!!! I Hope You don’t mind yet another ask from me!!!!!!! I’ve already said this before but I absolutely adore the way you answer questions and analyse stuff, it’s such a breath of fresh air to see!!!! This is totally self-indulgent so I hope you don’t mind me asking, but do you have any personal headcannons/analysis thoughts on Luis perhaps??? It feels strange to admit but he’s a very big special interest of mine so I just wanted an excuse to hear somebody else’s thoughts on him!! I hope You’re having a good day regardless!!!!

Always happy to see an ask from you, and don't even start with the strangeness or self-indulgence of being really into or asking about Luis; just yesterday I was wondering whether I should wait for spring to get a splish splash fish ankle tattoo or just do it now and deal with an itchy ankle in my winter boots lol...

So yeah, Luis is my love my turtledove the light of my life and I would LOVE the chance to talk about him!!! He was one half of why I got into resi in the first place (serennedy had me like 'hmmmm maybe horror games are not too scary for me if they have cuties in them....'), and every time I think about him my brain does that thing where you put your head in your hands and sigh while cartoon hearts float up above you...

He's just..... So good.... And despite that, he's made SUCH shitty choices. I love how painful that is for him, but that he's got enough self awareness to understand when he fucks up. He doesn't try to blame anyone else - he faces his mistakes and his own shortcomings (pride, willful ignorance, cowardice) head on, and tries so desperately to make up for them, even as he keeps making them.

I love that he's not some perfect angel, that he hangs on to the amber and intends on handing it over to Ada at first, in exchange for getting out of Valdelobos, despite knowing full well that no good will come of that. The part in Separate Ways where he tells her he doesn't care who she works for, could be the devil himself, so long as she gets him out of there was so shocking for me to hear at first, but then I realized that's the core of his tragedy - that he's a good man trapped in a horrible situation, and he's scared, he wants out, he wants to live so badly! Unlike Leon, he's got a healthy dose of self-preservation, and honestly, if I were in his shoes I would probably make the same choices.

But still - he runs into the burning lab, he risks his life to get the suppressant to Leon, he tells Ada he won't leave her, he picks up his 'lance' and says alright, let's go rescue the princess! He's so full of regret and fear and he keeps making shitty choices, but he also keeps doing the right thing.

The way he's written and acted is so rich and nuanced. Watching him, I understand exactly where he's coming from and every single one of his choices. Out of all the characters in re4r he feels the most real to me, the most human. Every second he's on screen is a joy, even the horrible painful seconds at the end.

I wanted him to live so badly, and not just because I like him, but because he wanted to live so badly... All the re6 AU's I've seen floating around where he meets up with Leon again are among my favourite things to come out of this fandom!! I know Capcom is never gonna do that, but in my head it's canon: when Ada told the helicopter pilot to change course she actually went back for Luis, gave him a little first aid spray, and then they joined forces and lalalala everything is fine!!

Ok I'm gonna wrap it up cause if I keep talking about him I'm gonna be late for work, but thank you so much for the chance to gush!! I love Luis so much and I think about him all the time.... My sweet bisexual disaster man..... Going to his death with a smile:

First Ship:

One of the first has to have been Buffy and Angel. Which I did divert from eventually although now looking back on it, I can notice what I was likely to appreciate about that ship.

Last Song:

I think it was most likely to be LALALALA by Stray Kids.

Currently Reading:

Mostly fanfiction, but the last actual book I read was Beyond The Story by BTS and Myeongseok Kang.

Last Movie:

Red, White & Royal Blue. I appreciate it for what it is and also I'm now incredibly fond of both characters Alex and Henry.

My Review/Analysis of Stray Kids' new album

💫ROCK STAR💫

Part (2/6)

Track 2: LALALALA

Okay, first of all.

When I first found Stray Kids' music (late November 2022), one of my very first thoughts were "Wow I would like to see them make a phonk song".

THIS. THIS SONG. IT HAS SATISFIED THAT VERY THOUGHT THAT I HAD AS A BABY STAY.

What is phonk?

By dictionary definition, it is an underground style of hip-hop/trap music directly inspired by 90s Memphis Rap, mostly present on SoundCloud as trill style beats with old funk and nostalgic samples, often accompanied by vocals from old Memphis Rap tapes.

(A phonk song I would recommend is Wither by Japanese artist takayan. Some of the beats in this track actually sounds similar to it)

Moving on!!

The opening high-pitched but bouncy beat is an amazing intro choice. Like it creates a buildup to the members' vocals and rap, but it also makes you curious as to what's gonna follow it. Combined with electronic beats and effects gradually joining it, it makes a GREAT INTRO.

OMG CHANGBIN OPENING LINES??? EVERYONE WAKE TF UP 🗣🗣🗣His scratchy rap tone is sensational for opening lines!! 👏 it DEFINITELY kept me wanting more!! Followed by felix and hyunjin's (?) rap lines carrying it on!

And do I hear leeknow rapping?? 🧐🧐 I LOVE how his voice sounds when rapping, especially since he usually sings!

Followed by seungmin and jeongin's verse bringing the song to the beat drop before the chorus. Omg. Vocalracha ATE THAT UP.

Now, I know some people think that using auto-tune on lines in a song (besides the purpose of fine-tuning the singers' tone) is a "questionable" approach. But lightly auto-tuning Han's "LALALALA, LA-LALALALA"? JAW-DROPPED. His high voice actually fits quite well with light auto-tune!! Combined with the song's base background phonk beats, it sounds 🔥

LEE KNOW AND CHANGBIN'S COMBINED CHORUS ‼️ I don't think I've heard them have lines together before, so this combo was surprising but nonetheless a great choice in lime distribution!!

Wrapping the chorus up with Felix's "LALALALA, LA-LALALALA" was like OMG. It contrasted well with Han's same line at the start of the chorus and 'closed' off the whole chorus really well.

Moving on, we have one of Hyunjin's ICONIC 'low-key' raps. In my opinion, it gave me a "break" after the heavy chorus, while still keeping it interesting. Love it. 10/10. Easily one of my favourite parts.

The part after hyunjin's rap where the members (it sounds like more than one member to me, I'm not sure) go "we go ROCK, ROCK" and "STOP, STOP" with the beats on "ROCK, ROCK" and "STOP,STOP" with pauses in between to emphasise them??? IN LOVE RN. It also builds up really well to Changbin and Han's fast-paced, combined rap!!

Followed by Bangchan and Jeongin's pre-chorus verse!! The blend of their singing tones is just *chef's kiss*

Then SURPRISE!! The chorus doesn't come after that!! Instead, Felix and hyunjin's low voices drastically change the vibe to that of a hero and a villain having a final showdown on a dust-ridden, corpse-strewn battlefield. Combined with the wind orchestra in the background? Literally. What. The. Fuck. AMAZING BUILDUP. JAW-DROPPING. I LOVE IT WHENEVER THEY USE WIND OCHESTRA IN THEIR SONGS (another eg of this: chorus for TOP)

THEN Han's voice literally BREAKING the 'silence' followed by Felix's low "Lalalala, la-lalalala"?? Sensational. Then Hyunjin REPEATING Felix's line using his AGRRESSIVE TONE?? EVEN. BETTER. TOTAL EAR ORGASM DJZBXJSJBXJDJDJD (can u tell this segment is my favourite part of the song 😭)

Ahem ahem anyways...

Han and Felix combined chorus!!! I love how they were the ones to do the chorus the second time round. Especially Han's! The way it literally blends and contrasts at the same time with hyunjin's aggressive "lalalala" adlibs is SO SATISFYING.

Followed by Seungmin and Chan's higher-pitched English lines for the outro chorus!! Underrated vocal duo OMFGGG.

Finally, Leeknow's amazing vocals (HIS ENGLISH IMPROVED SM BTW IM SO PROUD OF HIM) closing off the whole song before the background phonk eventually fades out.

The phonk beats combined with a striking metal guitar chord playing one last time before the song ends is so 🔥🔥🔥 LIKE- 😭 where are my words. Taken away. Like my breath after listening to this track.

Overall, I LOVE LALALALA. It might be one of my fave title tracks from SKZ rn. I manifested hard enough for SKZ to do a phonk song, and it happened!!! Legit so happy, you've no idea how big of a smile I had when I recognised the phonk beats in the very beginning on my first listen of this track. 😭😭 I really hope SKZ continues experimenting with all these split genres!

Honorable mention: LALALALA rock version. I'm in love. Pls.

↓↓ the stinky. the silly. the baby. he's so little and adorable. don't make fun of his early-game no-money-limited-choices clothes, he'd be sad T-T also, top one is the lake where adult!ren and i meet if i choose galar as the setting :3c

anyway idk if i'm playing any more despite not even reaching the first gym AKJNDSKJN

[ venting about having a bad time playing pkmn sword + talking around the dex.it Thing]

not me going "lalalala i wonder how many of our pkmn i can use to put a team together for my ren file in swsh?? teehee~~" and looking up the unobtainable pkmn list.

guess how many pkmn from our COMBINED teams i can get in the base game?......... three (3). one early game, two mid-to-late game. i could get 3 more in the post-game dlc, one through raids only, but idek if i'd WANT to replay the dlc...

then i looked at SV's unobtainable pkmn to see if i should play that instead, and it's a similar story. hell, both unobtainable pkmn lists have a LOT of crossover, which feels A Little Fucked to me. just how many people got shafted TWICE on the switch???

and suddenly i was hit with the force of how exhausted i was w this game after my first run-through... so now i'm instantly turned off from playing again jskdnjfJNSFJKN.

if i can't access half of my favs in EITHER mainline switch game, and the wild area feels this awful and overbearing to even RUN ACROSS through without catching anything, nevermind it being the core pkmn catching area... i have other games i can play instead :) and i'll just have to hope and pray that my babies show up in legends Z-A 😔

ugggghhhhhh. at least i got to make my little freak and scope out wedgehurst, and while i did want to see some of the places i think ren would want to study... maybe i can find an LP as a refresher. i think that's all i need from the game.

...i just realized this fits ren's lore too KJANKJDNKSJFNK omfg. ren starting his journey and having some fun (routes 1 and 2), suddenly getting overwhelmed and realizing very quickly that he's more interested in non-battling activities during his travels (looking at the scenery like the route 2 lake), so he quits his gym challenge to focus his attention elsewhere (him: spore research, photography, foraging... me: idk playing more of x or digging into my otome game backlog LOL)

i have so much more i could rant about w how uncomfy game.freak made this game (ex the pokedex constantly popping up to show you what you should catch instead of just... letting you play at your own pace...), and i have some positives (i think this was the right direction to go wrt the stylized character models and vibrant environment colors), but i'll stop here kjsnfkjn. i don't want to go full hater mode on a selfship post LMALSKDN.

#my feelings on dex.it have fluctuated so much ksjndkjn like. i was anti-dex.it bc i was sympathetic to the overworked staff #but then all of that evidence came out that the reasoning was all lies and they were reusing the old models and animations #(which doesn't mean the labor issues arent present -- it just means pkmn company found a way to cut corners to push a game out #instead of taking their time and treating ppl at game.freak better to make a better game)#and now with SV out we can see how many pkmn they've left out in BOTH games which like....#if i were at the company i would be ABSOLUTELY SURE to include every pkmn not included in swsh???? to appease dex.it people????#man. idk. 3ds > switch pkmn once again. i just wish i had it in me to continue IF ONLY to dress ren up like a fashion doll LMAO #let me transfer ren into my og save file so i have access to all of the stores and have tons of money ;w;#(tbc i'm not poopoo-ing the characters in these games. i only have a couple of specific character complaints in the switch games #and i have just as many issues w characters (if not more) in 3ds and earlier games. this is purely from a gameplay standpoint)#📌 [ my posts. ]#💭 [ my thoughts. ]#🐸 [ look ahead. ]#vent -

Can you do tzuyu turn into baby and twice have their concert tour and they bring baby tzuyu to the concert and once shock how cute baby tzuyu. Please 🤍

Hii of course you can, also I'm sorry for completing this so late I was procrastinating and I don't know why I did it.

Baby's first concert

The girls were about to go on stage for their tour until they realized that Tzuyu was a baby. “What are we going to do?” Dahyun asks out of worry. “Uhm I don't know, how will Once react?” Mina wonders since it was something that doesn't happen normally. “We should probably wait until the encore to bring her out, or else we might upset her.” Jihyo states that and the other girls agreed with her.

With that in mind during the first part of their show Tzuyu stayed backstage with Manager Unnie and the others went on stage and performed without Tzuyu because it was better to perform as 8 at the very last minute instead of having Tzuyu perform whilst she was a baby. Whilst the girls performed, Tzuyu was hitting and giggling at the screen in front of her as it was showing the others performing.

“Do you like watching your sisters perform, Tzu?” Manager Unnie asks and Tzuyu enthusiastically nods her head. When the others finished performing ‘Moonlight Sunrise’ Tzuyu clapped her hands and she babbled happily, she then gasped loudly when she saw them come off stage when they had finished performing some more songs. Tzuyu wriggled out of Manager Unnie's arms so she could be with her members during intermission.

“Hey Tzu-Tzu! Are you enjoying the show?” Nayeon asks Tzuyu who smiles widely and reaches her arms out to Nayeon so she could be picked up, which Nayeon obviously obliged to do. So with that in mind, throughout the first intermission the girls all played with Tzuyu and they would hype her up whenever she tried to dance this didn't last long as Dahyun, Momo, Sana and Mina had to prepare for their Solo performances but that didn't stop the other girls from playing with Tzuyu.

“Let's go watch their solos, y'know so we can support them.” Jeongyeon suggested and the girls agreed with Jeongyeon, they didn't think much about it since Dahyun was first anyway. As soon as they heard ‘7 rings by Ariana Grande’ start to play they realized that they had to act quickly. “Oh god, cover her eyes! I don't know, just make her not look!” Jihyo slightly yells at Nayeon, Jeongyeon and Chaeyoung they all then covered Tzuyu's eyes with their hands except it basically looked like they had completely covered her face.

Tzuyu didn't know why this happened but she found it hilarious and at some points she even tries to move her head so she could get a look at MiSaMo's performances since the others now fully acknowledged that it wasn't a good idea to make baby Tzuyu be exposed to twerking, pole dancing and Sana's choreography. Thankfully, it was a different story when Jihyo, Nayeon, Jeongyeon and Chaeyoung did their solos, except for the fact that the girls backstage didn't make Tzuyu see the solos because they were petty over the fact that only Dahyun's was shown to Tzuyu.

When it came to the encore, Tzuyu crawled over to where her solo outfit was and she put on the hat despite it being a bit too big for her head at that moment in time. Everyone else laughed lightly and they decided to let Tzuyu wear her hat because they thought she looked adorable with it on. They also decided to do ‘When We Were Kids’ first so Once can know that the baby on stage wasn't a random one which had passed security it was in fact Tzuyu.

“Well, let's just hope that Once take this sudden news well.” Sana says softly and the others nod their head and they do their chant, Tzuyu also placed her hand in the middle but that was because she didn't feel like being left out. When they went on stage they were met with loud cheers from Once and when it was revealed that Tzuyu was with them but as a baby, Once filled the stadium with “Aww!” Tzuyu actually surprised everyone by smiling widely instead of crying over the loud noises and her hat made it at least 10 times cuter.

Tzuyu had fun with all of them during the encore and when she had to do a dance part in Likey, all nine of them actually joined in a huddle and they did random dances including choreo from their own music like ‘Signal.’ Towards the end of the concert Once were throwing plushies on stage and no matter who Tzuyu was with at that time she gave them the same treatment of pointing at the toy and making a sound to basically command the girls to pick up the plushies for her, she would then kick her legs happily when she got the plushy even though some of them were for the others. They didn't mind it though because they saw how happy Tzuyu was when she was able to hoard all of the stuffed toys for herself.
