girl you missed a lot of somethings! But it's cool, I'll catch you up to speed on all the leaks. It's a little late at this point, but 🚨SPOILER WARNING FOR AVATAR 3🚨

Varang using kuru mind-control: @spider-socorro-stan was able to make out some of the very blurry writing on this script page that was accidentally shown in BTS footage. As far as they could tell, the first line says "Varang wills Quaritch's arm to... bulging, as his hand opens and he..." which makes it sound like she's controlling him somehow. This led people to speculate that Varang might use tsaheylu to control others. Out of all the "spoilers," this one has the least amount of evidence supporting it so take it with a grain of salt.

2. Norm taken prisoner by the RDA: in this BTS image, two Na'vi in Ash attire stand with another Na'vi wearing an orange prison jumpsuit in the RDA control room. A lot of people believe that it's Quaritch and Wainfleet taking Norm prisoner.

3. Neytiri also in Ash People clothing: in this BTS image, Jake stands next to a Na'vi woman wearing Ash People attire, with Spider wearing... whatever the fuck that jumpsuit thing is in the background. It's hard to tell with her face hidden, but most people think the woman is Neytiri based off her height, build, and proximity to Jake.

4. The betabridge: this is the spoiler we have the least information about. According to the leaked script, right after Jake and Quaritch have their civil conversation while Spider is breathing the air, Quaritch leaves them (probably scared cause Neytiri showed up lmao) and flies back to Bridgehead with Wainfleet. There, they witness a massive machine that looks like "an oil rig crossed with a nuclear reactor." It lets out a loud noise and Wainfleet remarks that it is working now. We have no other information on what the Betabridge is other than what it looks like, but if it was built in Bridgehead, it can't be good for the Na'vi. guys i experience byler doubt sometimes but not over this 💀

this person has barely any posts, and their “i saw it with my own eyes” means absolutely nothing if there’s not proof of it. getting mileven “leaks” that aren’t from the duffers or an actor/someone on set are the ones that we shouldn’t be trusting. how many filters do they go through? it’s like playing telephone. there was an actual point at the beginning but after going through all those people it’s totally screwed up at the end. and we don’t even know if their source is right or valid. so stop losing sleep over it 🤷‍♀️ and the same goes with dyersfilms. we all know that she hates byler, and that already makes her biased, so why are we trusting her?

take everything they say with a grain of salt. it doesn’t matter if she was right last time, because it’s plenty possible that her source left her and she just doesn’t want to admit it. she’s vague about all this anyway. saying that “mileven has scenes together” or whatever it is she’s saying is ridiculous, because whether you want to admit it or not, they are going to have scenes together. if byler is endgame, then she is still important to mike’s arc. and like i’ve seen people saying, it could be similar to stancy in s2. saying they say ily and that they kiss a lot doesn’t actually give you context.

it’s perfectly acceptable to believe the leaks but don’t stress too much about it 😭

hey there! I agree with your thoughts about Carlos and Charles’ friendship. I find it strange that some people think that just cos they’re not besties, they must be enemies or it’s some fake “PR friendship”. It’s like viewing things in extremes. It’s likely they are casual friends or work-friends. I doubt Carlos and Charles are such great actors that they can fake all their friendly interactions.

People should take Pierre’s comments with a grain of salt lolol. he’s probably just projecting his disdain towards his teammate on other driver pairs. Also, just cos he’s close to Charles, doesn’t mean he is the expert on Charles’ thoughts on Carlos. If people want to know about Charles and Carlos’ relationship, the only two people’s opinions that matter are Charles and Carlos.

Charles and Pierre are close friends, but it doesn’t mean that Charles can’t be friends with anyone else. Like you say, the viewing things in extremes is a common reoccurrence in this online fandom. Not everything is so serious!

This whole close friend = friend idea that many fans just seems a little toxic. You can be friendly and not the best of friends! Like you said, jumping to a conclusion that is ‘they hate eachother and it’s a PR friendship’ is just not it. People can get along and not hang out at every moment! Some of my friends along the years I don’t see often but they’re still my friends! I have a friend who I went to highschool with who is from the Netherlands and she moved back in final year, I see her once a year and we are still friends, just not besties. I'm nervous about the future of experimental high energy physics

Every talk about a future collider (FCC, ILC etc) is like "oh we definitely reach new physics if you let us build the comprehensively big accelerator (do not think about the environmental impact from making a 90 km tunnel that will span two countries and a massive lake). Once we have an FCC we could collect so so much data (do not think about the storage and computing resources that will be expended)..."

The most sustainable accelerator is the one that is already built

sure maybe we might be reaching the limits of the lhc but if we build the fcc we would reach that limit too. what's next? a collider the size of the earth?

Also we should be working on making the experiments and accelerators we have now more efficient, precise and sustainable! I feel like the physics community is brazenly going forward with a project that will have a massive environmental and social impact (so many rare minerals will be mined by people in terrible working conditions and worse)

It's a bit disheartening.

am i the only one who feels like alex(the world ender guy) was kind of a missed oportunity in vide noir? like, he was set up by johnnie to be a badass gang leader just for him to never even appear in the end, we just got a close up to his face scar

i feel like buck's encounter with the psychic would've been way more powerful if it was alex instead. its implied that johnnie and moonbeam had a relationship ig, but its barely even hinted at, and he never even mentions her. but with johnnie and alex, johnnie actually mentions him and speaks highly of his brother, and says alex will help buck if he sees the red cloth that belonged to johnnie

the fact that all that build up led to buck not even TALKING to alex kinda irks me. imagine how much better the payoff would be if alex had received the cloth instead of moonbeam? if we had seen his reaction to johnnie's death? if he would've helped buck like johnnie said he would? if we saw what johnnie implied alex would do to the guys who black brained his brother? idk man i think we were robbed

No I gotta agree on that. Like I LOVED seeing Moonbeam and getting know her as her and having all this new information about her (her being part of the World Enders is still wild to me and I love it) and it’s a good scene and all, but I’m still confused as to why they built up Alex so much, especially since this is the first time we’re hearing about him, and he never even got the chance to speak. If it were Dale I’d be a bit more understanding as we know him already (tho not by much cause I would have loved to see more of Dale). But it’s Alex, whose not only the leader of the World Enders but also Johnnie’s (and Dale’s) brother. I would’ve have loved to, you know, actually meet the guy. Especially with how much build up he got. And I GET IT Lord Huron’s lore is meant to be weird and vague and hard to pin down but like. Didn’t need to tease me like that come on

The only reason I could think of was maybe they needed to get Buck on his own again? Like having this the beginning of a war between the World Enders and Z’Oieasu shown or having Buck work with them consistently might have thrown off the tone. It is supposed to be Buck’s story and his own descent into madness. The whole album has this isolated vibe to me, like being alone in a city of people Hard to get that when there’s other people around, especially a group as lively as the world enders. Or maybe they just wanted to include Moonbeam back into the story again lol

GOD I would have loved to see Moonbeam’s scene with Buck done with Alex. I can only imagine how that scene would’ve played out and his reaction to Johnnie’s death. Contrasting Buck’s scene with Johnnie with Alex’s own personality, the possible dynamics, the anger and grief that could arise…..ough

I don't think it's any secret that I have a very deep hatred for stellarlune lmao but one scene did immediately come to mind when I saw your ask.

in the end scene, fitz mentally checking in with keefe (before he does with sophie) and stealing her dagger to give to keefe? trusting him with that?

and the fact that keefe goes through with trying to stab gisela? ough.

this was big for both of their characters I think. fitz has been here. he's held his brothers life in his hands and hes tried to end it before. he knows the anger that keefe is feeling and agh.

for him to be there? for him to acknowledge those feelings and for him to help keefe? to, despite all the tension in the last few books, give him the dagger.

the keefe/gisela and fitz/alvar parallels were strong here and I think this genuinley may be one of my favorite scenes in the book.

#Take with grain of salt - not exactly sad but will probably feel much dandier another time #Tonight I want so much to create - to make stories that will make others love what is good and true and beautiful #I have a condition which (among a lot of other things that are irrelevant to this post) causes me to feel very tired a lot of the time. #and I also tend to go through bouts of insomnia - in the middle of one now. #It's small potatoes compared to what a lot of my friends have to go through health-wise and I am grateful #(though i probably should be more so) #But - the point. I am just so tired all the time and I try to soldier through and be creative because that's the way my heart is shaped #But so often I just feel like the exhaustion sabotages everything and tonight I am just aching to be more creative than I've been #I'm not unhopeful about it - so many people go through this after all and end up making wonderful art. And there's something to be said for #patience and filling the creative well and trusting all to God. But tonight I feel - not sorry for myself thankfully - just very wistful. #Wanting to make something really beautiful and see it through the end and be more resilient in the face of the tiredness. #(Ha - my life is a good one if that's what's making me wistful!) #God can do whatever He wants with it and maybe the greater glory is for another time. #But I also wonder...
