Growing up is realising that Sofia was just an 8 year old girl who had too many responsibilities and was pressured by adults to save her new family and a kingdom and realm she now has to take care of and protect and people have high expectations of her, and that she was never given any real time to grieve her missing (most likely dead) father who only passed away like a year before her mother's remarriage and she is a child with trauma and doesn't want to bother people with it or tell anyone her secrets because they might put her in danger. She is a prodigy in just about everything she tries and isn't used to the idea of failling or not getting the hang of things quickly.

Sofia is also constantly betting her own life or being forced to negotiate the lives of her family since she was 8. She was betrayed by 4 adults, 3 of which were her teachers and and 3 of them are redeemed. She watched two people be murdered and a man waste his life away. Her brother being distressed and angry because he wasted his childhood preparing for a position he was never going to get because their grandmother and aunt lied. She watched the reason the twins were born and the queen was killed. Has been trapped in the middle of no where multiple times. Her sister stole her amulet. She saved the world multiple times. And her friends were toxic to her for being better than them at a game and trying to help a girl out. Was tricked by Cedric into cursing the entire kingdom to sleep. Is very protective and suspicious to anyone who even looks at the Amulet. Was given a position that constantly puts her life in danger and told to protect an entire realm filled with like 50 kingdoms. Must watch or read peoples lives no matter how gory in order to give them an ending weather it's sad or happy as long as it's an ending. Is blamed if things go wrong because of an adult. Isn't believed even if she's right. And none of the adults listen to her and always underestimate her.

This child needs a hug, therapy, sleep, and should just go play Dazzle all, Flyer Derby, or Ice dancing, go back to the Buttercup scouts, do her homework, practice magic, and play with her animals.

Yea man, I do have a problem with people hating Ruby and Jade for being immature when they are literally children.

Yea man, I hate when people hate on children characters for making bad decisions when they don't know any better or are misguided and yet will give leeway to an adult who should know better just because he was hurt in the past.

Yea man, you don't have to love Ruby and Jade, but again, they are CHILDREN who aren't fully matured yet and holding grudges against literal children is so weird.

Yea man, people deserve more forgiveness for their actions as a child because you're in a state of learning about the world and you're bound to do things without understanding how it could be harmful to others or yourself.

Yea man, Jade may act mean sometimes, but ever kid is close to being 10 and you can't expect them to be fully able to emotionally control themselves, like kids experience things so intensely at that age including emotions and that can lead to them saying and doing things they didn't mean to do.

Yea man, Ruby and Jade shouldn't be hated for being kids, and besides, one of the points of the show is learning how to be better at any age, and we should be more considerate when it comes to judging their actions.

I love sofia but she was so mean to ruby and jade AND THEY ALWAYS FORGAVE HER! She brags about winning, they feel bad, she just says sorry and they say "okay i forgive you". She invites them to a sleepover with amber, and ambers friends, amber, and her friends get mad and so sofia ASKS THEM TO LEAVE, and after she says sorry they FORGIVE HER AGAIN. And thats legit just 2 instances i can remember. THERE ARE MORE, AND NOT EVEN JUST WITH RUBY AND JADE! LIKE VIVIAN, CEDRIC, OR THAT ONE NEW GIRL WHO WAS LIKE AN ADVENTURER WHO I CANNOT REMEMBER THE NAME OF!

Can't you see it?

You can't tell me you can't see the same thing. Honestly.

Sofia the first has a big place with me as well as heathers. I've watched sofia the first since I was little, ended up rewatching a few episodes like 2 years ago, and watched a few episodes I hadn't seen yet. Which for the most part when I was little I had watched season 1-2. The show just gives me great nostalgia and it holds a big place in me since i watched it ever since I was little and rewatching episodes and special episodes just makes me feel great.

Rewatching episodes of sofia the first, I've started to pay more attention to clio and realized how adorable she was. I knew she existed in the series before but I never paid attention to her character as much. Now that I'm doing that more now, I realized how adorable her voice and character is. Sidekick clio was also an amazing episode.

I honestly love these girls(Amber, Hildegard, Clio, and sofia). I just love them so much! Also, Hildegard just had this stare she gives off in most episodes. Like in "The big sleepover" episode, she just has this kind of smug look. In that episode Ruby and Jade also made me laugh a lot for no reason. When ruby said "Awww, a white squirrel", it made me laugh!

Also, when Ruby(I believe Ruby asked the question)asked Clio if she had swimming pools in every room of her castle and Clio says "yes", it's like, why do you have swimming pools in every room of the castle? Honestly, it would just be funny to see.

I did ship Sofia and Hugo very much but 2 years ago when I thought more into other ships sofia was in, I started to like those other ships more(like, oona x sofia, sofia x vivian). I still like sofia x hugo(hugfia)though. I really do. But now with the other ships, it's like I also favor the other ships. Also, Clio x hildegard, before, didn't really ship them as much but I understood why it was a great ship. But now..... but now I have came to the conclusion that I do ship them!

I do think hildegard and clio just seem so cute together. I just love the ship more than ever now. In the episode "The secret library: Olaf and the tale of miss nettle", when hildegard said how she wanted a talking snowman after seeing olaf, it just sounded so cute!

I really cannot express how much I love this show. The music too! Straight bangers! I love all the characters singing voices. It just blows my mind how far the show has came. I did read an article about sofia the first supposed to have a spinoff. I think that'll be interesting. I'd actually enjoy to see more of sofia the first, and seeing/getting a spin off would actually be good. I guess.. will see how it turns out.

Also, I like how in the show it is shown how much sofia and amber don't want to lose the attention of their parents. For instance, in once upon a princess(the pilot/feature film of the series), amber does become the jealous stepsister to sofia, being jealous that sofia will be getting the attention and not her. Which is shown throughout the whole pilot and also amber sabotaging sofia in the process. In the end, they do make up. In other words, in the episode "Moms the word", sofia also shows how much she'll be missing the attention of her mother, Miranda, once she learns that amber and James will be joining them together. I just brought this up since I thought about in the morning and compared the two situations in my head.

But on that note, I love sofia the first

Someone asked for my thoughts, and I was happy to give them.

The Big Sleepover is an enjoyable episode. What girls don't love slumber parties?

I love how excited Sofia was to have her first sleepover as a princess. She was unfazed by what Amber said at first, and I wish she had stayed that way.

I love Ruby and Jade's enthusiasm. Honestly! A sleepover in the castle! Who wouldn't be excited? Hildegard and Clio were much too prim.

The sleepover was in the observatory. A spectacular location.

Before I forget, I like the way Baileywick was directing servants by pointing out where things should go. The last one always makes me laugh. He looked like a police officer directing traffic. LOL!

I like the dresses Ruby and Jade changed into, although the hairstyles were a bit off.

I like how Ruby and Jade were having fun, despite Princess Stick in the Mud and Princess Frosty and Haughty constantly giving them the evil look.

Speaking of which, I like the way Clio wasn't as snooty as those two. She even told Amber her ruined nightgown was accident.

I like what Jade said to Sofia. It snapped her back to reality. Really, Sofia! You shouldn't have been trying to change your friends just to please Amber.

James was a good brother here. He didn't have a problem with Ruby and Jade.

I love the end with everyone having fun the way a sleepover is supposed to be.

What I don't like...

Amber. This is one of those episodes where I just want to smack that tiara off that undeserving head of hers. I'm sorry, girlie, but your idea of a fun sleepover is BO-RING! And she was so rude, talking about Sofia's friends right there where she could hear it. I wish Miranda had scolded her after seeing Sofia. Hildegard and Clio should have been sent home and Amber to her room.

Roland making Cedric entertain the girls was a bit cheap. Seriously! You can't just hire a replacement jester? You have all that money. Did you even pay Cedric to do that extra task. No wonder he hates you so much.
