one of my absolute fave depictions of steve is: things to come by birthdaycandles on ao3 - its got how caring he is and how much of a martyr he can be and that conversation he has with hopper where he feels trapped is like, just the BEST

and I've reread: the only way to my heart is with an axe by Themoondogs on ao3 so many times its one of my cozy faves - its very sweet with steve just very slowly comes to terms with his feeling for eddie, very nice confusing bi feelings and fluffy tropes

also: took you for a working boy by pukner is very good. i read it quite a while ago so don't remember exactly what happen but i know there just lovely gender and big feelings and it made me cry. its good and silly and steve and robin are so so besties and eddie is a sweetheart

"a-zhan?" even though he was older, she could feel it in her heart - this was her son. she wondered if they were both here or if it was just her youngest son. "a-zhan?" she repeated again, this time louder, hoping to catch his attention. a million different things ran through her mind - would he want to see her after she'd left so early in his life? would he remember who she was? she didn't want to think of the negative, but it was hard not to after she had died and missed so much - missed so many milestones. and all because she had been confined to one place, only allowed to see her sons once a month, which was never enough. she held so much resentment for her husband - for what he had done, locking her up like a bird to be caged. she had been a cultivator first, wanting to travel and had never wanted to settle down - she'd made that very clear. but she got her boys out of that bad situation.

number five: the way he loves and respects his wife. i am being serious, they are literally couple goals. they are the reason i still believe true love exists. if a man doesn't treat me like lin treats his wife, i don't want him.

number seven: he is a good singer! i seriously love his voice, he is a good rapper of course but he also got so much better at singing and honestly, fuck everyone who says lin can't sing. i'm sure he sings better than all of you.
