These ana-only segments are growing increasingly difficult to watch. To be clear, they've been miserable to watch for a while now as her interests are getting narrowed and calcified and her takes are getting dumber because of it.

"New York City and Chicago/etc. is having an immigration issue" Yes, because Republican governors, who are the main and major recipients of the funding and infrastructure are actively subverting that investment to send them elsewhere, have been doing so for months, and people gave up on stopping them from doing that.

"I overall agree with AOC, but we need to control immigration" AOC was discussing calls from Republicans to shut down the border entirely and Biden's executive action to cease asylum and refugee requests entirely.

I would timestamp the exact time in that interview where that context is made, but TYT doesn't post links to the sources they're using, and acknowledging that perspective would put a significant hurdle on Anna's recent "DO YOU KNOW HOW BIG OF A PROBLEM THIS IS!?" track on immigration.
