1Y-OVKA [Probe 01 Call Sign Y - Organism, Vegetation and Karyokinesis Assessor]

2nd protag to the AU! 1Y-OVKA, humanized name Iyovka, is an OVKA probe sent to evaluate and retrieve live specimen on Earth. Iyovka follows his directive to a T, but since every other of his mission returns negative, Iyovka's mission on Earth is more of a "very discreet disposal" of him by orders of Axiom superior, Matvey. Iyovka was meant to be left on Earth, but after the help of a certain bot, Iyovka signals to be picked up, carrying a positive live specimen back to the Axiom.

Turns out the strange Antonin bot he encountered on Earth SOMEHOW followed him all the way back? Shenanigans, Chaos, Romance and Angst ensues.

Captain Magnus Solomakhin

Captain on deck! Captain Magnus is the Axiom's 6th (and last) captain - being son to late Captain Vsevolod. Magnus is a newly appointed captain, only on duty for 2 years. He's young and naive but kind and has a cheery outlook of life. Magnus is overly dependant on the autopilot to do everything, letting him to just do morning announcements and spend his time on the computer or laze around on his hover chair. After learning about Operation Recolonize and Earth, Magnus demands that they return to Earth immediately...

But the autopilot had other plans. A fight ensues. It was a 700 year old directive, or humanity's fate. Even after he considers Matvey like his own big brother...

M/ATVE-Y [Manual/Autopilot Technology for Voyage and Expedition - Call Sign Y]

M/ATVE-Y, humanized name Matvey, is the Solomakhins' and Buy N' Large's magnum opus of an AI. Created as the autopilot to the Axiom, Matvey is the true captain and ruler to the ship. On top of being created with limited sentience, Matvey secretly receives Directive A-113, do not return to Earth and ever since he does all he can to uphold that.

During Vsevolod's days, Matvey finds himself having a secondary function as a babysitter (and honestly, a foster) for the young Magnus. Matvey... enjoyed taking care of the little child. It was the little sentience he had. He genuinely cared for the young kid's well-being, all the way to his young adult life as a new captain.

You'd imagine how both of them would feel having to brawl with each other over clashing orders.

VON-EL [Voyage Operational and Networking - Executive Level]

VON-EL, humanized name Vonel, is a gopher bot and the Axiom's head of security and operationals. Vonel leads the stewards and works directly under Matvey's orders, despite his surprisingly short stature. Vonel aids Matvey in upholding Directive A-113, but only because he is programmed to follow Matvey's orders - not because he was aware of what the full scale of A-113 was. He wasn't fully aware what he was doing was mutiny against Captain Magnus.

Poor lad. He just wanted to assist Matvey in the brawl against the captain, but out he flew off the window and straight into the concrete floor. Ka-Blam!

Two misc. bots!

M.O [Microbe Obliterator] Unit 130

Unit 130, humanized name Boris, is a cleaner bot usually stationed in the Loading Dock. He's a diligent cleaner, but the job gets boring often and he tends to zone out whenever he's doing his work. Boris breaks routine after this strange bot came back with a whopping 100% foreign contaminent. God, his tracks are everywhere! Well, he's not escaping this bot's determination to get everything clean.

Even chasing him down all the way to the garbage bay and lodging himself on the airlock door? Apparently!

SECUR-T Unit A-5

Unit A-5, humanized name Askali, is one of the many steward bots on the Axiom. Askali is curiously a lot more sentient of a steward bot than the rest of her kind - and fully acts as if she is similar to VON-EL, taking charge of the stewards stationed in the same kiosk as hers. She is favored by Matvey to deal with any issues due to this attitude and she takes a personal pride to that.

Askali's last stand is when she and the stewards hold off the rogue robots. She survives getting a scrub on the face by a M.O unit and a high charge shock by a D-FIB unit, but eventually meets her match with the frenzied HAN-S unit, Behelmus.

I'm going to try to share 70 blurbs from my WIPs and unfinished fics to celebrate reaching 70 posted fics! To help with this endeavor, please feel free to send me a word or a fandom you know I write for, and I'll share the blurb. IDK if I'll get 70 prompts, but let's try it! Send as many as you want!

New Paris, the jewel of the stars. A luxury ship with only the finest crew for the most regal of clients. After all, not just any star ship could sail through the heavens. It took a Cracker Jack crew, led by an experienced captain to traverse the vast expanse of ever changing space. A hull ornately detailed with rich blue paint and gold leaf molding. Five ivory star-sails, only the most technologically advanced to propel the ship at hyper speeds. And three engines, bolstered with nuclear power that beat the cosmos into submission.

This was the pride of Andre Bourgeois, the ship’s captain.

This was to be Adrien Agreste and his father’s new home for the next six months.

It was daunting, but rarely was change in life not so.

Adrien stood at the dock of the station, staring up at the massive ship with nervous eyes and a quivering stomach.

“Take one last look at that place,” said his father’s cold tone. “It’s likely you will never see it again.”

‘That place’ being home. The colony on which he was born and raised. A beautiful place, with teeming gardens and mountains of crystals that glittered in the duel sunlight. His mother had loved it here in their quiet villa.

But now he was 21, and the rest of his life was beckoning.

Steps thundered down the ramp leading to the ship, coming from two large men and a tiny woman. One man wore a fine blue and gold suit that matched the ship, and a wide brimmed hat with a feather.

The other followed a few steps behind, wearing just a white shirt and trousers, with a red belt around his waist. He had a mustache and kind eyes.

The woman wore a nice black dress with a white apron.

“Welcome welcome!” Said the first man. “Duke Gabriel of Agreste, and Prince Adrien of Agreste, it’s an honor to have you aboard my vessel. I am Captain Andre Bourgeois. You may call me Captain or Andre, whatever you prefer.”

“Thank you, Captain Bourgeois. My son and I are grateful to you and your crew.” Gabriel then gestured to the woman standing with them. “This is my steward, Nathalie Sancoeur. She will also be joining us.”

“The more the merrier.” Said the captain with a smile. “This is Tom Dupain, our chief cook, and his wife Sabine. They are in charge of hospitality aboard the ship. If there’s anything about your living quarters that does not meet your standards, please speak to them.”

Tom said, “I will be taking your bags to your rooms, and then I will be making one last trip to the market before we set sail. Any allergies I need to be aware of?”

“My son is allergic to feathers, and I can’t eat mollusks.”

“No escargot then? No complaints here.” Tom smiled broadly.

“Please,” began the Sabine. “If you will follow me, I’ll show you to your quarters.”

The group climbed the ramp, and surfaced on the deck, where crew were hard at work preparing for launch.

The captain blew a whistle and shouted, “attention!”

The crew hurriedly fell in line by rank, rushing to their designed spots.

Once they were all accounted for, the Captain spoke again, “I will repeat this again for anyone who wasn’t listening the first seven times I briefed the mission.” He gestured to the guests. “His Royal Highness Prince Adrien, and his father Duke Gabriel of Agreste are our esteemed guests for this voyage. We will be escorting them to the settlement of Agreste for the Prince’s coronation. This will be a six month journey, with seven ports of call. During this voyage, I expect you all to treat our guests with as much honor and dignity that a group of spacedogs can muster. Shenanigans and tomfoolery will not be tolerated. All those who break this rule will be locked in the brig and then escorted off the ship at the next port. Do I make myself clear?”

The crew answered in perfect unison. “Sir, yes sir!”

“Then as you were.”

Just as they had assembled, so they departed back to work.

“They are a good group,” the captain assured. “You just have to keep expectations high.”

“Certainly.” The duke agreed.

“Now, I will make brief introductions to my most essential crew, who you may be interacting with during your stay.”

A stout, red headed man with a smaller hat stood hovering nearby, awaiting orders.

“This is my first mate, Roger Raincomprix. If you can’t find me, please consult him with any concerns.”

“I am specifically in charge of the crew. If someone is out of line with you, Your Majesty, please notify me and I will make sure they meet just punishment.”

“Thank you, sir,” Adrien bobbed his head.

“Second Mate Nino Lahiffe is in charge of Navigation. He’s up on the half deck by the wheel. The auburn woman next to him is his wife, Alya, the cartographer.” He pointed to the couple, who were peering at and discussing a star map.

I have a list of fics on my phone that are so unique, so different, so specific to a certain theme/genre, that you could literally find nothing else like it on ao3 (in my opinion). When authors deep dive into a universe, the reader falls in love with the characters and plot. These plots are some of the most unique ones I’ve ever come across. Enjoy.

The Ghost Hunter AU where Niall lives to prove ghosts are real, Zayn is a skeptical librarian and Harry gets caught up in a century-old mystery and catches feeling in the process.

Oh look. An Elesa.

Thylak and I are currently making assets for the station - it's what we have been doing for the past two nights now.

And every station has got to have adverts. So. Here's Elesa's modeling poster. That will be clearly shrunken down to Stardew size and cleaned up.

But I decided to share what I just made... Of course there are more assets to come!

WE ARE FINALLY GETTING THE STATION DONE! It only took 6 1/2 months.... Or so. Give or take.

▲ Subway to Stardew - Ingo 10-Heart Event ▲

This plays after getting at least 10 hearts with Ingo and entering the Railroad after 7PM.

We made a few assets for this event! You can see the uncropped abandoned junction + stargazing maps and full Jirachi visual below! There's also some commentary on the process of making this event under the read-more!

Ingo’s 10-heart event was really fun to put together! And quite the process as well.

It really was! The idea of a stargazing date with Ingo was actually one of the first few event ideas we came up with... but it only really existed in imagery. We knew we wanted to have Ingo and the farmer stargaze atop an abandoned train car, but we weren't quite confident in how the event would play out exactly until quite recently (I actually only got the inspiration on how to finish it about 3 days ago! It sat partially done up until the Bidoof scene for a few months!).

During the idea phase, we were stumped on what to do for a 10-hearted event. Now I’m not the best when it comes to writing romance or dating scripts so when we came up with a stargazing event idea…. Let's say…. The draft sat dormant for about a week or two and I went off to write the other heart events or help with asset creating in between.

It underwent a lot of revisions after the draft was made, the original didn't even have Emmet come in at all! I didn't get the idea to make Emmet eavesdrop (super obviously intruding as per the manga) during Ingo's date until after I finished Ingo's 8-heart event. Ingo's 8-heart event was originally quite bare-bones itself, consisting of just a confession that you could either accept or reject and ends with a single line about getting teased by Emmet and Elesa (which is mostly there to write around the idea of dating both twins at the same time... it would be too hard to implement... in this mod they both have no idea how the other feels and their overall lack of communication comes into play in the 6-heart events). I wanted the idea of a library confession to be a little more interesting and specific to Ingo, so I decided to let him get blackmailed by the kids out of his sweet tooth. From there, I wanted to show exactly why Ingo would want to keep his love life a secret from Emmet for as long as possible- he's a menace. Station Stewardess Kade's area of expertise is angst so the original draft focused more on the stress of work... we ended up having more than enough events regarding that and how hard it is for the twins in the valley, so I tried my best to steer it more towards the cheesy romance that the vanilla 10 heart events tend to focus on. After everything, I thought Ingo needed some fluff and time to just enjoy himself with the person he loves while being himself at full-steam (along with Emmet... this is the first event where his engine is at full capacity for his usual antics). Ingo still does have a tendency to talk about his job, but I tried to change things to have him infodump about his interests (trains, Pokémon, and battling!) to show that- despite the challenges on the tracks ahead of him- he does truly enjoy his line of work!

Which helped spark many ideas! Especially with the telling of Jirachi! (I loved Pokémon and The Wish Maker)

Ingo is dedicated to his profession as a Battle Facility Head because he has an interest in Pokémon. We wanted to lean into how ideal he would be if he were tasked with spreading his knowledge in a land where Pokémon relations aren't commonplace. His memory would be great for kickstarting the creation of a Pokédex... Anyways! He really does appreciate the vastness of space and tends to become sidetracked. I was hoping to convey that during his infodump on Jirachi!

Jirachi itself was drawn by me (Station Stewardess Kade) while the background, clean-up, and amazing pixel shading were done by Station Steward Thylak! This is one of my favorite parts of this event! And they truly brought Jirachi to life that I would never be able to do. (Background-wise.. and pixel art-wise.)

Thank you to Station Stewardess Kade for drawing them! The drafts were really fun to see and polish up!! I've become more confident in my shading and pixel art because of this project!

So here are some early drafts of Jirachi and my poor first attempt at this pixel art. As well as a sketch draft of trying to visualize the event.

I ended up making the farmer leaning on Ingo visual into a map! It was originally going to be a visual like Jirachi's, but a whole event with two frames for all of Ingo's infodumping wouldn't be very immersive... It would be hard to add in things like the usual 10-heart event kisses and animations. They were originally going to sit and look up at the stars but..... farmer animations are finicky. The game does not like making the farmer sit in events if not from the side... even then, I can't do anything about the shadows not being in the right place. If I try to add in any other sitting frames for the farmer, they turn into a bowling pin.

The original Jirachi drawings were actually too big for a Stardew map so I had to resize them using the dimensions of Sebastian's mountain scene as a reference (I didn't realize that his 10-heart event has special handling that forces the camera to be zoomed out at the max setting to properly frame the entire map until it was too late... Oh well! I'm happy with the pan effect I added to counter that!). The final background/Millennium Comet takes inspiration from the comet in Maru's event!

Funny enough while Jirachi was currently being drawn, Pokémas had just recently released the Tate and Liza Sync Pair event - Twin Stars Far Apart (I got Tate and Jirachi as a Sync Pair pull!)

It was a fun coincidence! We wanted this event to be fluffy with a tinge of bittersweetness/impending doom from alluding to Ingo getting sent to Hisui in the future... Jirachi didn't relate to that much but then Pokémas decided to split another pair of twins apart!

Now we have also made a custom map! I made the area map while Thylak did any cleanup and adjustments, and also did the custom map for the actual stargazing bit. It was my first time using Tiled! Below are some of the map processes.

Kade is really good at planning out map layouts! I was surprised at how quickly she learned how to use Tiled! The bush that the Bidoof disappears into was added on a whim. It was originally going to disappear into the bush to the right but... I got impatient waiting for it to walk all the way over there. Our events are long enough already.

We have some events in mind, that will have assets just like this - we truly want to put in the work and effort for this mod, there’s only so much story you can tell when using plain vanilla maps. This is honestly one of my favorite events I have worked on with Thylak, and I’m excited about what else is in store! (*Gives big hug to Thylak*)

I'm really happy with how this event turned out too! Thank you to Kade for coming up with the ideas and scripts for me to polish! You do so much!! The other events may take a while to finish as we need to make more maps and assets, but we hope you like seeing them! We don't quite have a script or know how Emmet's events will play out yet exactly, but they should be fun if Ingo's event process is anything to go by!

We also want everyone to know (this was brought up and mentioned in the Tumblr comments of the last Ingo Heart event we posted)

We are aware that not everyone will want to date the twins in this mod! The main focus of the mod is to rebuild the railroad but to also enjoy the characters that are Ingo and Emmet through both Canon and some Fanon interpretations! Even though we are following the basic Stardew Valley format when it comes to villagers (Bachelors and Bachelorettes) we plan to after the first initial release of the mod make a Platonic Relationship version! Many of the heart events will have to be redone during that time! (Ingo mostly… Emmet is easy to do)

Yes... I had a more clear idea of how Emmet's heart progression would go when starting to make this mod (he's slow to trust people and is iffy on the farmer until 6-hearts in but then gets verrrry attached to his best friend) but weren't quite sure what a particularly meaningful friendship with Ingo would go. Since we were referencing the vanilla Stardew Valley events/heart progressions for Ingo, his development is more romantic in nature. When we do create full-platonic routes for the twins, Ingo's progression will need a complete overhaul while Emmet will only need changes from 8-hearts onwards.

We truly want this mod to be enjoyable for those of you who don’t want to date or are uncomfortable with the notion of dating a fictional character (Myself and Thylak are okay with this since we created OCs/Self Inserts and we create and share stories with each other, during our time working on the mod)

We do know a lot of people project onto submas and would prefer there to be platonic options when playing their heart progressions! Even without that, I feel like a platonic route for Ingo is much needed since playing with the intent to romance Emmet alone is a bit awkward at the moment (I personally don't have much of a choice since I need to code and debug all of the events anyways, but I still feel bad betraying Emmet! He doesn't like sharing!).

The focus is actually the story of Ingo and Emmet being in Stardew Valley. And that can be told either through the Dating Route or the future Platonic Route.

If anyone has any ideas or input regarding how they would want a Platonic Route with Ingo to go, please feel free to share them with us! We have... no idea how that will play out just yet.

For now, though we have the basic Stardew Dating Vanilla format, and on the future track’s ahead a Platonic Relationship format.

Started a new farm. Spring Egg Festival rolls around.

Both station stewards are looking at the strawberry seeds.

Kade: Oo , strawberry seeds!

Thylak: Oh yeah, we should get the Strawberry seeds.

Kade: Okay, let's get the strawberry seeds, I'm going to get the decorative plants.

Neither steward or stewardess buys the Strawberry seeds thinking that the other was getting it. Kade spent most of the money on decorative plants.

The egg festival comes and goes with Kade pulling a win. (11 eggs take that Abigail! I get my straw hat!)

Kade: Did you get the Strawberry seeds?

Thylak: 👀

Kade: 👀

Thylak: I thought you were buying the Strawberry Seeds.

Kade: No! I got the decorative plants! I thought you were buying the Strawberry Seeds!

Thylak: Ahh...!! Neither of us gotten the Strawberry Seeds!

We are 'verrrrry' blind......

We forgot the Strawberry Seeds.....

AT LEAST WE GOT SEASONAL DECORATIVE PLANTS!

Chandelure gives the farmer the Qi coins she won not knowing that's all you can win from the Casino's slot machines and the farmer is wondering how they could spoil submas with the Qi coins. (There's not a way, yet 1.6 comes out soon after all, to exchange the Qi coins to g, but you can by items with the Qi coins and sell them to make the money instead.) ((The thought of Chandelure borrowing 1,000g to go gamble is funny)) (((The farmer replaces the money she used.)))

To be honest I've never gotten far enough in a save to unlock the Casino (I'm bad at Stardew...) but I love the idea of Chandelure and the farmer's gambling shenanigans. Thank you!

OOOOHHHHHH GOOD ONE

This was the pride of Andre Bourgeois, the ship’s captain.

This was to be Adrien Agreste and his father’s new home for the next six months.

It was daunting, but rarely was change in life not so.

Adrien stood at the dock of the station, staring up at the massive ship with nervous eyes and a quivering stomach.

“Take one last look at that place,” said his father’s cold tone. “It’s likely you will never see it again.”

But now he was 21, and the rest of his life was beckoning.

Steps thundered down the ramp leading to the ship, coming from two large men and a tiny woman. One man wore a fine blue and gold suit that matched the ship, and a wide brimmed hat with a feather.

The other followed a few steps behind, wearing just a white shirt and trousers, with a red belt around his waist. He had a mustache and kind eyes.

The woman wore a nice black dress with a white apron.

Tom said, “I will be taking your bags to your rooms, and then I will be making one last trip to the market before we set sail. Any allergies I need to be aware of?”

“My son is allergic to feathers, and I can’t eat mollusks.”

“No escargot then? No complaints here.” Tom smiled broadly.

“Please,” began the Sabine. “If you will follow me, I’ll show you to your quarters.”

The group climbed the ramp, and surfaced on the deck, where crew were hard at work preparing for launch.

The captain blew a whistle and shouted, “attention!”

The crew hurriedly fell in line by rank, rushing to their designed spots.

The crew answered in perfect unison. “Sir, yes sir!”

“Then as you were.”

Just as they had assembled, so they departed back to work.

“They are a good group,” the captain assured. “You just have to keep expectations high.”

“Certainly.” The duke agreed.
