Mixels Frenzy: The End

And we’ve officially come to the end of the art project; closing my own tribute to this underrated little gem of a franchise that has left a huge impact on my life. All 81 Mixels, drawn, colored, and presented! Overall it has been a swell time revisiting this series, and drawing out all these fun, wacky, and imaginative looking creatures. Getting to talk about all my personal favorite characters, while also finding some new appreciation for some others.

I feel very accomplished working on this project, it allowed me to sharpen up my drawing skills, create my own release schedule, as well as experimenting around with the color pencils set that I got for Christmas. I’ll probably do something like this again for a different series/franchise in the future, but for now, I’m going to move on to some new smaller projects. I’ve been drawing Mixel characters for nearly 3 months and I kinda want to take a break for now. But I’ll certainly get back to it at some point, I might even consider drawing out all the Maxes.

Anyways, Thank you to everyone who has stuck around for this 2+ month long project. I hope you enjoyed this little series as much I did, and that you’ll stay tuned to more of my upcoming art pieces.

AITA becuz I got my moirail a souvenir but not my matesprit?

I (9 sweepz/male/troll) recently went on vacation to another country with my kismesis (20 years/male/human) for two weekz. My moirail (9 sweepz/nonbinary/troll) is from the country that I waz viziting, so I bought them a souvenir while I waz there. When I came back, I gave my moirail the souvenir and thought that waz it.

A few dayz later though, my matesprit (19/female/human) waz came to me, crying about how I dont love her anymore becuz i didnt buy her anything. My matesprit haz never been out of the country before and she didnt say anything about wanting a souvenir, so i didnt think she’d want anything. She waz talking about how i spend more time having feelingz jams with my moirail than i spend having datez with her, which is true, but im also a coolblood who needz pacified more often than the average troll. I tried explaining that do her, but she waznt listening and left. She spent the night with her human sister.

My moirail thinkz that my matesprit might be feeling lonely, but I literally live with her and spend most of my time with her. My kismesis thinkz that she’s jealous that i didnt take her on vacation, even though she and I haz gone on vacation in the country together before. I think my matesprit needz to apologize for thinking that my relationship with my moirail reflectz my relationship with her in any way.

Am I the asshole for not buying my matesprite a souvenir even tho I bought my moirail one?

Hi, I’m a troll (9 sweepz, teal) who haz a human (19 years) matesprit. Recently I’ve realized that she may be vacillating pale for me, but I already haz a moirail (9 sweepz, jade). I waz wondering if you have advize for how to bring thiz up to my moirail. I want to keep dating both of them and have done some reading on humanz being pale in matespritshipz, but a lot of what I’ve read only talkz about having your human partner az your only partner in both quadrantz. Any advize for palerom in thiz way?

I recommend Sitting Them Both down and Having a conversation about The Relationship you want to form… Humans Naturally Gravitate Toward having multiple quadrants filled With One Person, but Some Humans share one quadrant With Multiple People— Perhaps that Kind Of Sharing would work?

MF Day #73: Sweepz

And now we’ve come to the nineth and final wave of the Mixels, and it’s a another pretty good set of tribes that wraps up the series nicely. While the characters featured were one again not given enough time to present themselves in the show, at least a good chunk of them got to be a part of the plot, even if they are side plots. For a concept as weak as garbage mixels, it’s surprising how they came up with some really cool and inventive deisgns out of it. They all look equally good, but if I had to pick a favorite I’d probably go with Sweepz. He’s got a cute beaver like appearance, and he greatly utilizes the broom piece for a tail, and those brush pieces for hands.

Okie dokie, buckle up this might be a long one.

Trumpsy: I could see two options for them, either they just make trumpet sounds and there'd be like text on the bottom of the screen that translates what they're saying, or they'd have some kind of filter on their voice kinda like what Donut from the BFDI franchise has.

Tapsy: Personally I just see this guy being completely mute, he wouldn't actually be able to speak, maybe he'd use his drums for some kind of Morse code-like form of communication.

Skrubz: Probably very quiet-sounding, they'd definitely have a very non-threatening voice due to being a nurse and all, also weirdly enough I could see them having a voice similar to Mikan from Danganronpa, except probably a bit less feminine.

Lewt: They'd probably barely say any actual words, but they'd probably make alot of anxious noises similar to the squirrel from Ice Age or Courage the cowardly dog, of course with the added sounds of coins being shaken around for good measure.

Sweepz: IDK give him a New Yorker accent or something I guess

Compax: Similar to Sweepz but maybe a bit deeper? IDK I admittedly never really payed that much attention to the Trashoz I'm sorry

Gobbol: this guy would probably have a really goofy voice, and also every time he closes his mouth it makes the sound of those lids on the big trash bins closing.
