Given that Carmilla almost certainly gets a little tipsy herself to deal with the Vees, she's more concerned with the quantity then the drinking itself.

Rosie has tried to get Alastor to get some kind of talk therapy to see if that would pry the suggestion loose, but he just drunkenly mumbled about there already being too many people living rent free in his head to risk another.

Carmilla when the Vee's interrupt the meeting for the dozenth time to pitch a mockumentary of the Overlord's: Pass it over.

Alastor, face down on the table, so drunk he can't see straight: (pulls another completely full bottle of vodka out of his jacket and throws it across the table)

Do you ever think about how Fakir, after him and Ahiru finally broke everything that kept the town of Goldkröne in the ghostly hands of its writer, after they finally have some air of peace over the town finally being able to live in its intended early 2000s environment, that Fakir still feels at times like it's not real and that for a while he fears that if he closes his eyes it'll be back in Drosselmeyer's control. Like it just doesn't feel real to him during that first year of calm, until he feels the dull pain on his recovering hand injury and Ahiru who follows him without a pendant anywhere to be found.

He doesn't feel it's real, the calm finality of this town, but he makes sure to feel the scar on his hand. And he makes sure to hold the little duck and realize that she is who she has always been. Him and the town are finally living peacefully.

Not to be alarmist but Chanse said he was studying his spells for a dnd practice in NOVEMBER in his insta stories and it only takes 3-4 weeks between filming and videos being posted so it would line up with a 12/12/23 premiere. Something must've happened between that and the postponing on the day it was supposed to start, especially since Damien was so excired to include the Koda/Fayen lore in his story. Them being radio silent ever since is not looking good.

Just had a hilarious thought.

Yes, Alastor is attracted to power. But his coming to that realization was not prompted by Lucifer or even Vox.

It was seeing Zestial!

Imagine: He first arrives in Hell, and he's still building up for his big reveal, and then sees Zestial putting on some impressive power display and was like: Oh.

Z was his first aesthetic crush. Thankfully a passing one, but it explains why he respects him so much.

It puts a whole new spin on his reaction to Zestial appearing in front of him on the street in Episode 3. Then his immediate order for the EggBois to shush, despite barely tolerating them before. "Shut up, he needs to think I'm cool."

Okay, okay, okay, I got, like, 3 messages side by side the other day (including this one), that involves Vox as well, and I've been super sick the last few days, so I read this in my migraine, dehydrated addled state and cooked up an entire backstory with Alastor and Vox, which includes Alastor's attraction to power (and his previous attraction to Zestial), and his falling out with Vox, and why they are what they are, and Velvette was in there somewhere, but now that I'm not longer sick I only have fragments of that glorious, complex, multi-faceted, super emotionally charged relationship, and I'm pretty sure most of it spawned from this.

That's all to day, I am so so SO fucking on board with Alastor's first crush being Zestial because when I watched episode three when it aired, and saw them interact and my first thought was "I ship it."

Literally, I shipped Alastor/Zestial before StaticRadio or AppleRadio. Alestial was my first Hazbin ship 😂 So this is just dasdfjlnsaklfjna YESSSSSSSSSS

"Shut up, he needs to think I'm cool." It's okay, Alastor. Zestial thinks your the coolest. Your the most entertaining Overlord on the block. He told me himself.

Ok I wanted to come out and say this but

Yes Alastor is a narcissist. He is incredibly npd (narcissistic personality disorder) coded and I love him for it

However can you guys please stop calling him narcissist without really knowing what npd is? Because I know most of you looked at alastor, saw he had a very high opinion of himself and hes a bad person and labeled him a narcissist based on that

Please do more research into npd and, if you can, speak with people who have npd themselves before slapping narcissist on whatever you like. It is not a fun little character trait, it is a mental illness

Do we know whether Daniel is ambidextrous? I've seen him use both of his hands without any struggles. Thank you for your answer 💛

hi nonnie!! (im rlly not but 😳) ty for the kind words im super flattered!!

my sources (google search) are saying that daniel is right handed. in zandvoort 21 his car's right hand clutch paddle failed after formation lap. he had to use the left hand clutch (which if you're a right-handed driver you probably would've never had to) and almost wasn't able to start the car. i think his wording in the interview ("so if you're right handed") also confirms that he's not naturally ambidextrous.

p.s. clutch paddles (no. 13 in this graph) connect/disconnect engine power to wheels. the left and right paddles do the exact same thing. the car listens to whichever is pressed down more.

during standing start procedures, right handed f1 drivers usually fully press down the left paddle to completely disengage transmission, and press down right paddle to the desired percentage (say 40%) of engine power for launching the car. when lights go out, they release the left paddle and the car will instantly get 40% power.

p.s.s. this mechanical failure meant daniel had seconds between formation lap and lights out to figure out what even was wrong with the car and how to do a start with only one working clutch paddle. many thought he'd have to retire. it was impressive that he was able to start the race at all (losing only one position which he then quickly gained back). but afterwards daniel was like "i probably should've practiced left hand starts" "I'll practice a few more times" etc etc. just goes to show he was SO conditioned to putting all the blames on himself at that point, even if it was literally a car failure. fuck mclaren and every gaslighting cunt in that clown team 🪄🪄🪄 anyways.
