to those who have no idea what this holiday is about, then this might help you.

starting off the day with yibo’s audi ad. he really remains unbothered despite all the chaos, it’s business as usual on his side. and that is the reality of his life: it goes on. no matter what happens or who try to bring him down. he will continue to shine ✨ the story for the ad was so interesting, it was so nice to see him “cooking” and it’s giving me flashbacks to his other efforts. this is more of me as a cpf thinking about how yibo could also be making an effort on his own to cook, even if it’s not elaborate dishes. the fandom loves to paint xz as the “wife” who does the cooking but maybe yibo does too? and that grocery scene? AAHHHHHHH! domestic yizhan is my weakness. so while they walk into a store all dressed up like that, the thought makes me somft. considering there is a possibility too that they will be in the same city soon 🙏🏼

then xzs reposted menghai’s anniversary post which some are saying is unusual for them but who knows. WHAT GETS ME THO IS THE CAPTION. the fuck.

WHO FAMOUSLY SAID THIS? to the point that it became a tagline for the fandom. Yibo. Yibo during all the drama that happened during Hidden Blade’s showing:

I’m not sure if this is some usual line or saying in 🇨🇳 with some literary relevance but the fact that it is associated with WYB gets me! XZS is known to do really good captions but using this? after all that happened with magnolia noms? i think it is not a coincidence. this feels like an indirect message. i am positive that they really intend to wish menghai a happy anniversary but the hidden meaning is not lost on me.

not only that…. they seem to match yibo-official’s caption too.

and as for the drawing, it’s very common for cpf to think that xz made it. not saying that ybo has no team of his own that can do it for him, but more of this is xz’s love language. making art for the person he adores. the fact that the t-shirt chibi yibo was wearing is inspired by that video of him dancing in 2011 was a nice touch.

the cartoon was supposed to be based on the photo which was from the olympics performance rehearsal — but to make it fit the Children’s Day theme, that was added. it is made by someone who loves him!

not to mention some other details that stood out to us. i bet you can analyze each in every composition of it and make a cpf analysis but these are the interesting bits:

First of all, im in like episode 250 and so far he hasnt been shown attracted to any woman at all during the whole show so far, not even when one changed clothes in the same room as him and this is anime so you know there were other characters with bloody noses and shit. Its cool af trust me.] When he was little he made a promise to his best friend that he'd be the best swordsman in the world. Later she died in a tragic accident and left her sword which he still uses today. He also carries a cursed sword but he overpowers the curse with a combination of skill and sheer luck. He got stuck in a chimney. While his crewmates sail their ship he takes naps. He learned how to cut through metal by fighting a guy who could turn his body into metal blades. That's metal. He refuses to fight this liberal marine officer because she looks like his childhood best friend and its just understandably really awkward for him. He's autistic. He's a he/him bisexual lesbian. He's a gay man. He's ace/aro. He's whatever you want him to be babey!!

He not only has a sword he has *three* swords. He's absolutely gay there's no way to see this man as straight. Also one time he licked his sword for no reason and that was really funny to me so I had to mention it

Look, this man thinks about three things: Swords, His Captain, and Booze. He’s on a quest to be the worlds greatest swordsman. The Live action has a scene where he declares his undying, unwavering loyalty to his captain WHILE reaffirming his promise to be the worlds greatest swordsman. At this point His dream and his Captain are so intertwined it’s crazy. Man is so sword-y he’s got three of them. When one of his swords broke he carried its empty scabbard until he was able to give it a SWORD FUNERAL. He hears a sword is cursed and takes that as a challenge. He will literally tell his swords off for “bad behavior” when they “act up” due to being straight up cursed. He tests one by throwing it in the air and sticking his arm out to see if it is so blood thirsty and ill tempered that it will cut him. Even though he’s literally the first mate if you ask him what his role is he’s going to answer Swordsman.

He's dedicated his life to two things: becoming the greatest swordsman in the world and his captain, Luffy. 

He mastered the three sword style. Its his style. It would've been more swords but he could only fit one sword in each hand and one in his mouth. He wants to be the world's greatest swordsman, a deal he made with his childhood best frenemy (before she died falling down the stairs). He thought he was All That at the start and was almost completely decimated by the actual Worlds Greatest Swordsman. Now, after two years forced training with that guy, he's probably in the top tier no-doubt, and honestly could already be the best but we just don't know for sure yet. Also, did I mention: he's got the whole demon/devil imagery going on at times. And he has absolutely no sense of direction! plus is a total softie when it comes to Chopper and all the children who somehow gravitate towards him. And he loves naps!

One of the guy's main goals in life is to be the best sword fighter and he fights with three swords which I think is telling enough of his skill.

I've been so used to such expressions that I immediately assume something funny is happening here. I cannot for the life of me make out the environment around him, or if he could be shocked by looking at something/someone or is just leaning back and having a CrisisTM and staring at the void. Could be just Anya being 0.1 seconds away from accidentally revealing she knows he's a spy, though. Or maybe Yor made another exhibit of her super strength and he's left with the most confusing boner of his life.

LMAO those were sent in random order but putting them together makes it look like it's progress from one to the other. What is Bond all shoujo-filtered about. Is it a good steak? Anya being adorable? And then he's sweating about stuff again. I love (painful) how being a part of the Forger family means dealing with unimaginable stress. Is he thinking about Yor's poisonous cooking? That might make his blushed reaction the opposite then... thinking about Loid's cooking XD

I smell character development. He's sweating in both cases so in the first one he's not just being a little shit. It means Stuff is happening. Do you see what a few drops of manga sweat can do.

For some reason it's in this one that I see his O_O expression and I'm like "oh serious stuff is happening is his father being horrible to him again" instead of thinking that it could be a funny moment. I love not knowing and I love not knowing when those stuff will happen, I genuinely mean it.

There's so much that Vax can't do. Trips down to the beach and long walks through the park and a tour of the gardens in the center of the city. Lazy mornings in the first stray sunbeams and sunsets on the roof and photos during golden hour. There are so many ways, so many times he cannot bask in her light, no matter how much he wants to, no matter how beautiful he knows she'd be in the full glory of day.

So instead, he does this. Flowers at the front door. Holding out her jacket so she can slip her arms in. A moonlit stroll through town to an undisclosed location. The entire time she's peppering him with guesses, a twenty-questions style investigation to figure out where he's taking her—but he hasn't lived this long by spilling secrets too early. He even takes the long way, hoping the circuitous route throws off her expectations, which it does, so she's perfectly surprised when a quick turn between buildings has them stumbling out right on the edge of the property of the city zoo.

"The zoo?" Keyleth's face crumples in confusion. "It's...the middle of the night. They've been closed for hours."

Vax smirks and says drolly, "Oh no, they've been closed for hours. If only I weren't burdened with this deep, abiding respect for the laws and customs of mortals."

She makes a face. "We can't break in."

"Of course we can't." In a flash, she's in his arms and he's jumping, an impossibly high arc up over the outer wall that ends with an eerily smooth landing onto the pebbled walkway of the zoo interior. He sets her down gently. "We can jump in, however."

He watches her chew on her lip, her curiosity clearly starting to edge out over her better judgement. He helps her along by taking her hand, tugging her along. "C'mon. I've got it all set up over here."

There's a little spot just in front of the gray wolf enclosure, with unobstructed view into their rambling range and enough space on the ground for him to have set up a large picnic blanket, the basket waiting for them. Her jaw drops. "How...?"

He settles atop the blanket and begins pulling out containers of food. "One day, you're going to stop being surprised by the things I can do. I, for one, am very glad that day is not today." He pats the blanket next to him, and she sits. "I picked salads because I figure meat dishes are not ideal when we're observing wolves."

Keyleth grins, accepting her salad. "Why the wolves?"

Vax shrugs. "They're nocturnal, so they're going to be active while we're here. They're beautiful, of course, and...wolves lives in families, big communities where everyone takes care of each other. They're pretty inspirational."

She nudges him with her foot. "You're a big sap sometimes, you know that?"

He smiles, because it's true. Just then, one of the wolves comes loping closer to the giant glass barrier, and Keyleth gasps, watching the majestic creature as it passes by, its fur a silvery gleam in the moonlight. Vax can't look away from her awe, her fascination with the the scene in front of her.

"Oh, if he weren't incredibly deadly, I'd cuddle the hell out of him."

Vax pouts. "I thought I was the only incredibly deadly thing you wanted to cuddle."

She feigns thoughtfulness. "You know, werewolves are so furry and warm..." She lets out a shriek as he leaps forward to tickle her sides. "Kidding! I'm kidding!"

From a distance, one of the wolves lets out a baleful howl, and they freeze, the sound reverberating through their bones. It is haunting and beautiful and thrilling, and for a moment, they're not on the cement floor of a city zoo, but far away, deep in the wilderness, away from his baggage and her responsibilities, the only two people left in the world.

"This is amazing," she breathes, and when she turns her head to look at him, he's right there, waiting to capture her lips in a kiss. She tastes like the night air and her honey lip balm, sweet and crisp and warm.

Aziraphale the newspaperman lol - he's having so much fun. is he drunk/high on laudanum? haha loving the way Crowley carries a careful stack of books then just yeets 'em awning of a new age 😂 wait is Shax living in Crowley's flat?

why the turtleneck in ep 2 only? bring it back! wait does he have different sunglasses?

Ep 4: 1941 ❤️ oh no not the magic act. zombie nazis?!? ahhh the magic act thing is horribly awkward. of course Crowley has never shot a gun the moment of trust tho 🥺 "which angel?" "Crowley's pet" liked the music in the credits, the skipping record.

Ep 5: is Furfur using microfiche? my god i love them just walking around soho. fez! ERIC!!! I love him the French is terrible. Til It Squeaks, a Series

Today, on the anniversary of its beginning, Da'Fen Carly Mayers Lavellan's story came to an end. Two years, 337,909 words, 7 works. So I thought I would put together a masterpost of the series, with links to AO3, for all of you.

Twist

The fic that started it all. Carly Mayers, a woman from Earth, gets transported to Thedas and becomes the Herald of Andraste. And she decides that canon needs a hammer. A Solavellan fix-it with a happy ending. Rated E for sexual content. Also contains canon typical violence. ~197K words.

What she felt under her fingertips and saw in her mind's eye was like the aftermath of a shockwave. A burst dam of energy, exploding outwards from a central point deeper in the bowels of the Stone. Traces of the spell lingered like a taste on the back of her tongue. She didn't recognize it, but felt like she should.

As often happened, a bolt of inspiration hit Varric while he was bathing. He gave a rueful sigh, wrapped himself in a towel and rushed to his desk without even bothering to swipe his dripping hair out of the way as he jotted down the idea before he lost it. He was never more grateful to Imogen than in that moment, since having his own suite meant having his own bathing chamber in it. He didn't have to traipse halfway across the keep to get back to his room, the mad gleam of words in his eyes. He didn't need that kind of blow to his reputation.

He got lost in the idea after a while, eventually snagging his reading glasses so he could see the page better. His hair stopped dripping onto his bare shoulders and he didn't even notice he was getting chilled sitting there in nothing more than a damp towel. He never heard the door open.

He certainly didn't hear the low, needy hum that Hawke made. If he had, he might have been warned.

Her sharp teeth sank into the ball of his shoulder and he jumped, thoroughly startled. “What the...Hawke!”

She cackled, leaning on the back of his chair. At least she'd bitten the off arm, so the only splotch on the page in front of him was his own fault. He glared at her over the rim of his glasses.

“Oh, your face! That's a weighty look, serrah.”

“What are you doing?”

While The Fluffs(tm) have been keeping me busy, I've still been working occasionally on new chapters for WG. I made myself very emotional with Cole's personal quest recently. And by emotional, I mean angry. I could rant forever (and will in the author's notes), but here, have a snippet.

“You!” Cole shouted, advancing on the man. “You killed me!” The Templar scoffed and tried to push him away, but Cole wouldn't be deterred. “You forgot. You locked me in the dungeon in the Spire, and you forgot, and I died in the dark!”

“The Spire?” the man replied. Imogen heard the others behind her.

“Cole, stop,” Solas commanded. The Templar took advantage of his hesitance and ran.

“Cole,” Imogen said gently, reaching out but not quite touching him. “He didn't kill you, he killed the human Cole. You came to him, as a spirit, to give him comfort at the end. He was not you, not the way you are now.”

“A broken body, bloody, banged on the stone. Guts gripping in the dark, dank. A captured apostate. They threw him into the dungeon in the Spire at Val Royeaux. They forgot about him, and he starved to death.”

“Yes,” Imogen said. He turned to her, his watery blue eyes boring into hers with all the power a fully realized spirit possessed. “And you crossed the Veil to help. But you couldn't make food out of nothing, so all you could give him was yourself. Your compassion. You became him when he was gone. Cole.”

“Let me kill him back. I need to.”

Imogen cupped his face in her hands, the Anchor flaring against his skin as it touched the Fade within him. “No, baby. That won't help you.”

“Then what do I do?”

“You need to forgive him.”

“What?” Varric sputtered. “He can't just forgive the man who killed him!”

“You can't,” Solas said. “But Cole is a spirit. His nature works differently.”

“Stop it, both of you,” Imogen snapped. She focused back on Cole. “Make him forget, it will remove the ties that bind you together. You will remain you, and he will no longer carry the pain of his guilt. Can you feel it? Cole, concentrate. Can you feel his pain?”

“'Don't worry, we'll erase his records'. They clap him on the shoulder, smell of oiled metal and blood. They smile at him like Louis did when he made him drown the kittens...”

“Go to him Cole. Help him. He's in pain, and you are a spirit of Compassion.”

She let him go and watched as he disappeared down the path the Templar had run. Varric was staring at her like she'd fallen from the sky – always that look, she thought idly – while Solas looked at her more pensively. She wondered if he guessed that she'd taken his words and spoken them herself.

“I hope you know what you're doing,” Varric muttered.

I have so many favorite moments from that chapter ohmygod.

Ship It

What made you ship it? I've always been a sucker for enemies to lovers/picking on loved ones, bc I do it myself

What are your favorite things about the ship? that they're both little shits and it works, really. Roman wants to do all the big flashy protecting, and Virgil is more of a behind the scenes kind of protector, and that works for me.

Is there an unpopular opinion you have on your ship? It does get overrepresented. I like the ship, but others can shine too.

Logicality

Ship It

What made you ship it? "mom and dad of the group" ship to me. Logan's trying to keep it all organized, Patton's trying to keep it fun, and there is mutual respect. It's sweet and . . . not as showy? as prinxiety

What are your favorite things about the ship? It has a lot of somft potential, like a soothing cup of cocoa on a cold day

Is there an unpopular opinion you have on your ship? idk, I just vibe with this ship, I don't go into a lot of exploration of dynamics with it. Call it a cozy blanket ship in that I just wrap myself in it and chill.

Dukeceit

This is complicated - I used to ship it in a "tie up loose ends" sort of manner, but I prefer them more in a "crime buddies" type of relationship anymore. Partially because I've also embraced Intrulogical (look, Logan can have two boyfriends, ok? and maybe Jan is seeing Pat on the side, idk, I'm working on it) and partially because while I don't hate it as a ship, I started to feel a bit odd about the seeming "light sides shipped with light, dark with dark" that I was noticing.

Like, don't get me wrong, I can enjoy the ship just fine, I just also kind of want to shake it up a little? (oddly I'll probably still stick with prinxiety as my preferred ship for those two) I dunno - I could probably just roll some dice and be reasonably ok with most ships I get.

50 Days of HypnoKink - Day 31: Auto-Fractionation

Alignment: Yes.

It is no secret that I enjoy fractionation. Becoming a puddle or turning a hypnotee into one is the goal of any scene with me. I'm not trying to do something. I just wanna be bounced in and out of trance a while until I'm a babbley mess who becomes fixated on describing a shade of pink that is more purple than pink but it's not mauve.

I need to compile a list of Cammie-isms at some point.

So you can do a bunch of up and down inductions and take your time and capture attention and hold it how you like. That is valid. That's lovely. That's one way to do it.

But what if we made that process easier? Put the effort of going back in to trance on the hypnotee.

After all, hypnotists are famously lazy cheaters.

I have a number of ways that have worked in the past to accomplish this. Here are some fun ones.

Inescapable scenarios

A hypnotee has been put in to trance by a scent or a spiral or song and brought back up to the surface and... that scent/sound/sight is still there and... so you drop right back down...

It could be lavender dulling the senses.

It could be a metronome clicking away.

Anything that gets the desired reaction.

Self-fulfilling prophecies

Based on how the hypnotee typically acts they will inevitably trigger themselves back in to trance without even realizing it. These are the most fun and I adore them.

To use an example that happened at Charmed this year, Daja programmed me to fall in to trance whenever I nuzzle against her like a kitty.

The thing is, when a somft sweetling rises from a trance she tends to cling to her partner and affectionately nuzzle against them.

Which means she slips back in to trance.

Which means she is woken up.

Which means she affectionately nuzzles...

Working out how to do these so they happen automatically and without effort is FUN.

Cognitohazards

Pretty much same as the inescapable scenario but multiple partners have putten cognitohazards in my hand when I am deep so when I wake up I look at the hazard and drop again. It's a lovely combo of both the above.

There are a ton of different ways you can do this and it is so fun to just let them drop and drop and drop again. I highly recommend this one.

I’m so glad I am in this fandom and I will stay for as long as I can. There are times that I ask myself “why” and this is a reminder of that. We love them as individuals and all the more together.
