I dont know if this was asked before but what do fairies and perhaps the firstborns think of their non fairy counterparts? Regular Skeleton monsters. How would their treat them?

Like eg. Instead of a human child wanders into the forest what about a skeleton child?

Or an adult skeleton?

The Big folk are not only just humans, but also regular monsters as well. While it is true that monsters hold much magic within themselves, this magic is in fact slightly different from fairy magic. They may be able to experience the magical world with much better ease than humans, but fairies are strange to them as well. They live by different rules; the kind that monsters know little about.

So, in short: The Big Folk include both humans and monsters, and if monsters are not careful around fairy territory, then they will be treated just the same as the humans.

Guys I never thought I would have a reason to defend TNG's Sub Rosa OR TOS' Wolf in the Fold, but here we are.🤣

Bear with me.

My two cents on the outlandishness of Sub Rosa, but also why it fits into and belongs in the absurdity that is the Star Trek canon and universe:

Some episodes being so bad they are good, gaining infamy or notoriety, and becoming a running joke is all a part of the Star Trek fandom and lore experience.

Just clock Lower Decks, any episode of it, and you'll see what I mean about the fourth wall tongue-in-cheek "we realize we have made some batshit crazy episodes" jokes woven throughout.

Trek lives to push boundaries, make crazy big swings and risks with stories (hello Captain Kirk being ridden like a pony), and knows how to laugh at itself about it.

Part of the fabric that makes up Trek is the unique, crazy, no-holds-barred world that Star Trek encapsulates and operates within.

So anyway, thanks for coming to my TedxTalk about why out-there, absurd crackheadedness is an integral, core ingredient in what makes Star Trek . . . Well, Star Trek.
